Chapter 3
Izuku definitely adores the kid, Katsuki decides. Well he's also a parent of Katsurou but they got off in a more rocky start which is half Katsuki's fault since you know, he wasn't there half of the time or 3/4ths of a half of the time which is something he probably really really needs to fix so he won't end up having a broken relationship with his wife and son but still, Izuku really adores the kid.
"Kacchan." Izuku softly smiles at him, he was holding Katsurou up in his arms, the toddler hugging and clinging unto him as he slept, "Kacchan look, Katsurou is asleep." He murmurs, a big warm smile on his face as he gently snuggled up to the little blond, Izuku didn't notice but Katsurou was awake, peeking a bit when his mum moved him around but kept his eyes closed again, murmuring some things that made Izuku smile even wider.
"Kacchan, Katsurou loves me, can you believe that?"
"I can, I love you too." Katsuki says, sitting next to Izuku and looking at the little brat as he slept, Izuku turns a pretty shade of red and Katsurou noticeably stiffens.
"You do, Kacchan? You love me?"
"Of course I do, I married you, remember?" Katsuki murmurs, gently pulling Izuku close, a strong arm draped on the smaller greenette's shoulder, Izuku smiled and leaned unto his chest, "there's no one else I'd want to share something like this with."
"Kacchan's so sweet." Izuku giggles and reaches up to kiss his husband on his cheek, Katsuki's heart lurches and he's filled with funny feelings again, why the hell did he leave this for work? This is a hundred times better than beating a villain's ass up.
"Deku... leave Katsurou in his room."
"Kacchan, what are you thinking?" Izuku giggles, "so dirty. I'm not sure Katsurou would like that..." he murmurs, "would you, Katsurou? What do you think of daddy eating me all up without your knowledge?"
"Mhm, Daddy's stupid, don't let daddy do that." Katsurou murmurs, still sounding asleep.
"Uh Oh, you heard it daddy."
"Oi you brat, stop telling your mom that I'm dumb or he might actually think that."
"Maybe mum should think that."
"Kacchan, Katsurou's dissing you even in his sleep!" Izuku giggles, "Katsurou's really cute, don't you think so?"
"That kid thrashed me any moment he gets."
"He just hasn't grown on you yet... Kacchan." Izuku huffs, looking up, "spend more time with us, after this?"
Katsuki bit his lip.
"I'm... not sure-" he pauses at Izuku's eyes which lights left immediately, "-But I'll try, I'll try my hardest, okay?" Katsuki mutters.
"You know I love you right?"
"Kacchan... of course I do, you tell me that every time." Izuku says with a smile although obviously not as bright as before, cold uncomfortably settles in Katsuki's stomach.
"I'm sorry."
"No need to be." Izuku says, but Katsuki can hear the disappointment in his voice.
"I'll really try to make more time for you."
Izuku doesn't respond anymore.
_____________
Katsuki wakes up when he hears a clatter in the house, he carefully sat up, making sure Izuku's not awake although he noticed that Katsurou was gone, panic rose up in his chest, frantically looking around for his son, he decidedly left the room and felt a stone drop on his stomach when he saw that the lights downstairs was open, he immediately went down and his eyes widened at the scene before him.
"...Don't tell mama, he'll freak out." Katsurou said, kicking a man's head off his way, blood was splashed all around his clothes and skin.
"W-What's going on, kid?"
"Don't know, but grandpa told me they want to hurt mama so of course, they need to leave." Katsurou says, walking past him, a few minutes later, he emerges wearing clean and flesh clothes, his skin has no patch of blood on it, the soiled clothes in his arms.
"I usually have uncle Shoto burn them for me or grandpa but you're here, take care of it." Katsurou says, handing the clothes to Katsuki who took it like a puppet. Katsurou started cleaning up the scene, he took a black big garbage bag, upon realizing that the bodies won't fit, he had Katsuki help him chop the bodies up so they'll fit in the bag.
Is this... bonding time? Er. Katsuki glances at Katsurou who doesn't seem a bit phased.
"So uh, when did it start?"
"Don't know but uncle Shou told me how to take care of it so ma doesn't have to anymore, like a year ago. Uncle Shou told me I was doing a great job, mum thinks no one is trying to hurt him anymore."
"Ah..." Katsuki paused, so that's why Katsurou told him to protect Izuku?
After taking care of the garbage bags, Katsurou took out a small phone and called Shoto who came by a few minutes after.
"Oh, you're home, what a surprise although not welcome." Shoto says, taking the bags off Katsuki's hands.
"Er."
"You won't tell, right?"
"No? I mean they're breaking and entering in our property it's kinda... legal?"
"Good, that's all I need to hear from you." Shoto pauses and looks at Katsurou, "tell your mom that grandpa Enji wants to see you again soon."
"I will, bye uncle Shou!"
"Bye." Shoto says before he leaves.
"Is this normal?" Katsuki asks to Katsurou.
"Yeah."
"How often does it happen?"
"It happens maybe twice or thrice a month I guess?" Katsurou murmurs, "lets go back to mama now." The toddler marches back inside, when they got back up in the room, Izuku was sitting up, looking a bit confused.
"Kacchan? Where were you?"
"Sorry mum, I got hungry and had dad cook something for me." Izuku pouts.
"That's fine but next time, tell me? I wanna eat too."
"I will ma." Katsurou climbs back on the bed and settles next to Izuku who was in the middle of the bed, Katsuki lays next to him.
"Uncle Enji called earlier, he said he wants us to visit soon."
"Mhm, we'll make time for him, maybe after school tomorrow? How does that sound?"
"Sounds fine." Katsurou murmurs, "Mama, sleep now, you need rest."
"I guess I do, gonna say goodnight to daddy too?"
"Daddy can sleep by himself. He does it a lot anyways." Katsurou murmurs, "Mama, sleep."
"I will I will, night Katsurou, night Kacchan."
The two responds with their own goodnights. Katsurou fell asleep quickly, curled up next to his mom while Katsuki stayed awake, looking up to the ceiling.
He takes his phone out and looks at the amount of notifications it has, his manager demanding that he got back to work, executives screaming at him over why he's not fighting crime, pro heroes asking where the hell is he. He turns his phone off, he probably should stay with his family more.
