To say that dating one of the most well-known magicians in your hometown was crazy... well, a bit of an understatement.

You still remember in detail the first time your eyes met hers up close on the stage. You felt honored back then, to be on stage with her, to be assisting her... but it doesn't come close to how honored you feel to have her as your girlfriend. To be by her side, not just at her performances.

If heaven existed on earth, you were sure it lied in Vivian's arms, in her presence.

You were resting in her room, waiting for her to come back, when the door slammed open, revealing Vivian, her hair disheveled and bags under her eyes. 

"Pfftt, rough day?" You asked smugly, resting your hand on your palm.

She didn't reply. Instead, she collapsed on the bed next to you and pulled you into her arms.

You then realized she was probably way more stressed than usual, and wrapped your arms around her neck, resting your head on her chest as she sighed.

"You ok, Viv?"

You asked, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. 

She shook her head.

"Do you.. wanna talk about it?"

She sighed and shook her head again.

You just smiled and kissed her on the cheek, letting her hold you.

Eventually she calmed down and told you what was wrong and you two had hot cocoa and she fell asleep on top of you and she was heavy as hell.
