(New chapter!!!)

The mornings light shined through the younger uzumaki brothers window giving a soft warm peacefulness to the room. Sadly Naruto only felt announce as the sun blinded him making him squint while he lay on the floor, a certain red head having pushed him out of his own bed. Naruto got up while sending his brother a grumpy glare then chose to just start getting ready for the day and get dressed. As Naruto's morning routine continued and he walked into the bathroom and started to brush his teeth and let his eyes wander the room before glancing down at Karma's anbu mask that sat on the sink counter and the light gray vest that layed on the floor. His eyesight continued to wander till he froze at seeing a gross full kinda yellow looking fingernail sitting on the sinks cold counter.

Naruto
Eww that had to hurt, I hope that's not Karma's............or maybe I do, I'd rather like to believe Karma doesn't peal fingernails off people and bring them home

Naruto quickly rinsed his mouth before put his toothbrush away then grabbed some toilet paper and picked up the fingernail before dropping it in a small garbage bin then continued on with his morning. After finishing in the bathroom Naruto headed back to his room and finished getting ready then turned to his bed where Karma layed, his body laying diagonally his feet on the left bottom corner and his head on the right top corner while having also stolen Naruto's pillow. Karma was most definitely a bed hogger who would literally shove people out of the bed while sleeping.

Naruto
I'm leaving now

Karma didn't move one inch from where he layed making Naruto sigh and pick up his blanket from the floor then lay it out over his brother before leaving the house to go to the training grounds without eating breakfast due to being told not to eat. Once Naruto left the house and the door shut behind him the home was left in a silent state, the only noice being Karma's soft almost unnoticeable breathing and the silent wind chimes ringing lightly in the breeze.

(Time skip after Kakashi test a week maybe more later, Hokage's Building)

Madam Shijimi
Oh~ My sweet baby, dear me you scared mommy so much when you went missing oh deer~

Madam Shijimis voice filled the room as she paraded he brown fluffy furred cat who meowed in discomfort and struggled to run away again but with no luck. Off to the side Kakashi and his young newly formed team 7 stood there watching in discomfort at the sight of the woman and the shaking cat.

Naruto
Hahaha that stupid cat, it deserves to be squashed!

Naruto snickered as he watched the cat cry in the womans arms while Sakura only frowned and cringed back.

Sakura
Yikes no wonder he ran away

The Hokage cleared his throat gaining mostly everyone's attention except for Madam Shijimi who was still focused on her safely returned fur baby in relief for it's safe return.

Hokage-Sama
Now then for squad sevens next mission here is the list of the next available tasks, huh amongst them there is babysitting the chef consolers three year old, assisting his wife with the shopping, picking out potatoes and-

Natuto
Noooooo! I want to go on a real mission!

Naruto shouted gaining everyone's attention as he squatted his nees slightly and made an X with his arms accompanied by an angry disagreeable face.

Naruto
Something exciting or challenging not this little kid stuff! Come on old man!

Sasuke seemed to agree with Naruto and Sakura looked from the Hokage to Naruto in annoyance at how disrespectful Naruto was being while in here mind she was yelling about how he's got a point about the missions. Iruka sensei sat up from his seat at the large table where he, the Hokage, and a few others sat to listen to the mission report slamming his hands on the desk angerly.

Iruka sensei
How dare you! Your a brand new Genin and like everyone else you start from from mondrian simple missions to build your skills and work your way up!

Naruto
Are you serious, babysitting isn't a mission its just a stupid-AHH!

Before Naruto could finish his rant Kakashi swiftly delivered a punch to the top of his head sending the blonde to the ground before cradling his head in pain while sitting on the floor yelling.

Hokage-Sama
Naruto it seems you have not grasped the concept and importance of the tasks you've been given

At this Naruto looked up at the great Hokage along with everyone else who switched there veiw from Naruto to the Hokage.

Hokage-Sama
Listen different kinds of requests come into ower village everyday, from babysitting to assassination. These requests are reported, analyzed, then ranked A, B, C, or D depending on there difficulty. the same way Ninjas are separated into Hokage, Jounins, Chuunins, & Genins according to how well they perform. A tasks are assigned to Jounins, B & C are assigned to Chuunins, and C & D are assigned to Genins. If the mission is successful we reseve a fee from the client that goes to supporting the village and its needs. Since your not shinobi and just starting down that path you are given D level assessments of course-humm?

As the Hokage looked up at the team and Naruto as was explaining how the mission handling was handled he took notice at how basically the entire team had tuned him out and was listening to Naruto who was still sitting on the ground but now cross legged and explaining a story about how his elder brother had cooked him tonkotsu ramen for dinner last night and how he hoped he'd be making miso ramen today due to seeing the ingredients all places aside in the fridge that morning before he left tho Naruto's story was cut short as the Hokages eyebrow twitched and he brought all eyes back onto him by shouting-

Hokage-Sama
SILENCE!!!

Iruka sensei
Oh sorry

Naruto
Ah! You always lecture me like your my grandfather or something but I'm not the little brat who use to pull pranks all the time. I'm a ninja now and I want a ninja mission!

Kakashi scrated his head in worry but defeat as Hokage-Sama let out a simple chuckle and a challenging smile painted his face.

Hokage-Sama
So be it, if your so determined I'll be giving you a C rank mission, you'll be bodyguards on a journey

Naruto
What! Oh oh who, is it a princess or big time counselor?!

Hokage-Sama
Don't be so impatient I will bring him in now. Akabane send in ower visitor!

With that the sliding door behind the team slowly opened revealing 2 figures as the team and everyone turned or looked to see who was to enter.

Unknown
What the? A bunch of snot nose little kids?!

The man as they could now see said unimpressed with what he could see before taking a swing of a large brown glass bottle of boos in his hand sloppily, some of the liquor spilling out the side of his mouth and down his old looking face and chin through his beard and onto the floor. The entire team didn't know how to react to the old man who just appeared in sandles, light brown pants, a gray short sleeve large shirt that had a purple cloth wrapped around his waist, and a lighter gray heavey looking backpack on his back, while a white sweat drenched towel was thrown over the back of his neck and draped over onto either side of his chest while a smaller one wrapped around his head and across his forehead. The strangers face looking worn out and grumpy, gray glasses sitting atop his nose and redness gathering around his eyes. His gray spiky hair messily pushed back away from his face and his gray beard and mustache scruff and ragged. Focusing his attention onto Naruto the newly arrived visitor glared at the blond and laughed.

Visitor
You the little one with the idiotic look on his face, you really expect me to believe your a n....ninja?

The old man said skeptically with a drunk voice which oldly made Naruot laugh and question who the little one with the idiotic look it there face was before going silent as he took notice of the groups hight and soon became enraged at the insult he discovered was aimed at him.

Naruto
I'll demolish you, you, you, YOU stupid old ma-

Just then as Naruto took a step forward, in a blur, a figure in normal civilian clothes but had a white anbu mask hiding there face, there blood red short hair easily recognizable swiftly swung his knee forward into Naruto's stomach knocking the air from his lungs momentarily and let the blond grab onto his shirt to stop himself from falling to the ground as said red head patted the kids back apologetically.

(The outfit was the one introduced to you guys earlier in the story and is the one with the leaf ninja headband turned into a belt in a way where the leaf headband was placed on his lower back side)

Karma
Sorry little kit but I was instructed to guide Tazuna here and provide a safe trip to the old man hokage without any trouble and you demolishing him would definitely go against that

Naruto
Ka-Karma?!

Naruto stepped away from his brother who even with his white anbu mask could tell it was him from well his hair, voice, outfit which he's seen his brother wear alot and of course Kit nickname for him seeing as how recently thats all Karma has been calling him since the night in the forest where he learned he had the nine tailed fox within him. The red head only smirked not that anyone else could see it with the mask he was wearing then looked to the Hokage.

Karma
Mr.Tazuna who you requested transported from the front gate to you has arrived saftly without any trouble like requested

Hokage-Sama
Thank you Black Sin please stand by for the time being I need to have a word with you

Karma noded before turning to the old man behind him and giving a dramatic bow to which Tazuna actually thanked the red haired ninja for guiding him then Karma walked off to stand to the side of the room to wait. Tazuna then looked to everyone in the room and after taking a final swing of his bottle took a breath and introduced himself.

Tazuna
I am Tazuna, a master bridge builder and I must return to my country. I am building a bridge there that will change ower world and I expect you to get me there saftly, even if means giving up your life

After that the conversation and instructions for the mission were given and Naruto flashed a smile Karma's way to which Karma rasied his hand silently in goodbye and goodluck before team 7 left to attend to there newly given C rank mission. After the team left all eyes were focused on Karma as he looked to the Hokage and reported.

Karma
The Mist ninja's from a few weeks ago as we know weren't alone and I have been clearing out the rest of the small groups placed throughout ower borders but it's hard to say what there doing here at the time or why they stationed there selfs so thin.

Iruka sensei
I believe we would know more if you stopped making those mist ninja you find mysteriously disappear and instead you start bringing them in for questioning

Karma
I brought in that one guy question him

Iruka sensei
That woman won't talk, it's been weeks and she won't bre-

Hokage-Sama
Then Akabane you will go and interrogate the captured ninja yourself and report back on what you discovered

At this the room was filled with a unsettling feeling and Iruka snapped his head in the hokages direction.

Iruka sensei
W-Wait please reconsider this Lord Hokage! Akabane cant be trusted in the interrogation room alone without supervision or he'll kill them

Hokage-Sama
Akabane do you promise to restrain yourself on this assignment and reframe from spilling a single drop of blood?

Karma
Jeez you always seem to take the fun out of everything old man but if that's a direct order then I guess I'll obey this times, cleaning up a bit of that bad rep I have with the anbu headquarters and obeying a bit might even score me points in the long run so why not

Hokage-Sama
Then it's decided. Report back to me when you have obtained all you can without any blood being spilt by your hands and your violence suspension from working with others will be revoked and your containment to the village will be lifted. Any objections?

Iruka sensei seemed unhappy with the decision but kept his mouth shut and everyone else found the Hokages choice agreeable for the most part. The Hokage past Karma a letter of approval to enter the anbu headquarters and where he was to be restricted to going and after the note was reseved Karma left. Making his way through the village he quickly made his way back home and unlocked the door before entering, going into the kitchen, putting the few ingredients he had bought for dinner that night away back into the fridge knowing that Naruto with his new mission would not be there for dinner.

(Karma's Prov)

Putting away the ingredients for miso ramen I had planned to make today for dinner I took a meat stick from the fridge before leaving the kitchen and made my way into the large closet storage area where we kept blankets and other things, the closet being in the hallway between my and Naruto's room. Walking into the dark walk in closet I flicked the light switch on then made my way to the very back and turned to face the left side and reached for a old black box that I hadn't seen since well mom and dad past while also munching on the snack in my hand. Bringing the small box into the livingroom I placed it on the couch and sat down beside the old dust covered thing.

Karma
So I know it's.........been awhile but I've been forced into tuning down my violent behavior which well isn't really my fault if you ask me..........anyway you and me made quiet a team back when well you know and well I was hoping we could be like we were back then ya know. What ya say?

I stared at the box in silence as the sun shone through the 3 windows in the livingroom and made me feel as if I was looking into the past and as I moved my hand to brush over the box I swear I had a strange feeling then everything froze in the warm peaceful state. Then I heard a voice that I thought I'd never hear again....

Minato
Hey bud check out what I brought back from my visit to the hidden village in the sand~

Turning my head slowly my breath hitched as I saw my father smiling at me as he walked down the hall towards me. He walked up to me and placed his hand a top my head and revealed a small bottle with the words Devil's Revenge on it. The bottle was small and as I reached out and took it into my now small three year old hands I took note of the humming from the kitchen and as I looked up from the bottle into the kitchen I saw mom cooking at the stove and dad walk up to her and kiss her on the check. I couldn't talk, couldn't get up off the couch to run over and cling to them, and that's when I turned towards the now not so old looking box that was still shut but seemed to be shaking.

Hey you little devil hurry up and add that to your strange little collection then come help your mother

Phff I can totally see that

My parent's voices became muffled to my discomfort and as I turned my attention back to the black box that was now violently shaking and the lid looked like it would fall off at any moment I reached out and lifted its lid up my while upon the sight my stomach dropped. Blood. Red. The smell of burning flesh and decay. Witin the box. I wanted to pull back and call to mom, to dad but I was stuck staring at the black box full of fingers and teeth, small and big nails, guts, organs, ears. None seeming to actually belong to the same person and they all just sat in the box as they all began to slush around and the room started to fill when the box started to over fill and pool out onto the floor. I can't move! The bloods filled the room and I'm stuck sitting on the couch with the fluid rising up my neck. I can tast the sweet warm liquid in my mouth down my dry throat. I felt my nerves start to burn then as if time froze again everything rewinded and I was back staring at the box that was this time old and the lid was removed revealing the familiar small bottle with the words Devil's Revenge on it along with multiple other bottles of different shapes and sizes, old herbs and small individual bags with labels on them all sat in the box.

No reply. Ok well I am officially going crazy without Naruto around. Taking a look at a few of the ingredients in the box I chose a few and slipped them in my arm pouch around my upper arm then put the lid back and carried the box to my room and set it under my bed. Before leaving I took 2 more meat sticks for the road then locked up the house again and made my way towards the anbu headquarters and eventually found myself at its main entrance where an anbu ninja stood and raised his hand while somewhat shaking.

Hult. I was Instructed not to let Black Sin that being you entry into the anbu headquarters under any circumstances due to your suspension

We have you under surveillance at all hours since your accident a few weeks ago now turn back this is a warning, I'd rather not be the one to put you in confinement

I handed the ninja the scroll that the Hokage had given me and watched as he read it and seemed to bit his lip as he lowered the scroll.

Anbu ninja
O-ok you can continue forward but I'll be escorting you to the holding cells where the mist ninja is then to a interrogation room before leaving you alone

As the anbu ninja and I started to walk through the halls and I smirked under my mask at how the other's moved back from me we got to ower destination without any trouble. Collecting the mist ninja from his cell then going to a dark room with a single light the two of us were shut and locked in the room together and from what I could tell the woman was most definitely giving me a weird look.

I've been having a few emotional problems due to a increasing appetite but for the most part I'd say I'm ok

The mist ninja looked worn down and relatively grubby and looked just about ready to off herself with the way her face was but with my answer to her question her face became stiff and she moved back slightly not that she could move much due to being chanined to a chair at a table.

Well lets see um I'm an older brother to the most perfect and wonderful blond kid named Naruto who also has the 9 tailed fox sealed in him, I'm a anbu who was suspended from headquarters due to getting in a fight with another anbu who might I say provoked me by insulting Naruto so it's not my fault I lost my cool and bit his pointer and index finger off, oh I'm also a crazy psycho teenager who has a violent tendency and the 11 tailed wolf inside him that makes him even more unstable, and I'm the son of Minato and Kushina Uzumaki who are dead. But that's not important and she doesn't need to know that so....

I'm an Anbu ninja that works for the hidden leaf village, most refer to me as The Red Demon, or Black Sin really anything demonic but enough about me tell me about you. What were you and your friend doing out in the forest?

The ninja didn't speak so I took a different approach to the situation.

The mist ninja looked at me skeptically and leand forward.

The man I work for is a stupid rat but he has the ranks and power to hold my life forever, what proof do I have that you'll protect me from the guy and provide my freedom

As I said the hokages tends to favor me and owe me big time so anything I ask he normally will have no problem with

The room feel quite and the woman sighed before looking at me with her sharp eyes to which I gave a innocent and reassuring smile.

Karma
Look we can sit here all day and I can watch as you give me the death glare but my mood tends to swing alot and I really don't want to black out and wake up to find you dead because you seem like a really good person deep down

The girl continued to try and look grumpy but eventually sighed and gave up to which I smiled in glee.

Karma
Fine my names Kay Rossuku a ninja from the land of the mist and as long as you keep your word on that better life I'll tell you everything

With that Kay revealed all I needed her to and more and I promised that I'd talk with the hokage and work out something for her. And as she was locked back into her previous cell I gave her a wave and promised to be back soon.

(Later at the Hokages office, 3rd prov)

The mist ninja informed me that she and a few other mist ninjas were gathered to spread out in pairs and learn about and infoltrait the village so they could slowly break ower defences and take over the village then combined the leaf and wave villages lands together and rule an entire region under Gato's rule who runs Gato Transport, the shipping company that apparently actually smuggles contrabands and trafficks drugs

Lord Hokage sat in his chair impress with Karma's Intel then took a breath in of his pipe before speaking.

Hokage-Sama
Good job Black Sin, as promised your charges have been dropped and your are now free to be an anbu again and have permission to leave outside the village walls again on your own, as for the info you have just informed me of I want you to go and join Kakashi and team 7 at the land of waves where the bridge builder is headed and capture Goto and any of his men so he can be properly taken care of. A small team will be made to accompany you there so gather your things and come back here before nightfall

Oh and before I forget, that mist ninja woman I captured and interrogated, I promised her in exchange for her info I would give her a new clean slate life here in the village

The hokage smiled at this and found that even with he possiblity of the woman turning on them if Karma was watching her she could possibly not turn on them and they could use her to learn more about the mist ninja and she may even become a great ally.

Hokage-Sama
Promising such high things to the enemy is very bold of you Akabane but I'll allow it as long as you take responsibility for the woman and keep a watchful eye on her. She'll also be accompanying you on the mission so we can test her loyalty but if she passes then I'll arrange a agree able living space for her and such

Karma gave a nod finding the answer satisfying enough and escorted himself out of the hokages office then went to put on his anbu gear that was at home and pack for the trip. Naruto and his team were going to no doubt run into Mist ninjas before he could catch up to them so all he could hope was Kakashi would protect Naruto from any harm and that Naruto would be safe. As for the Mist ninja Kay Rossuku, he found he could have some fun trying to befriend the enemy and if she did turn on him he could always just burn her alive with Setsu's flames.

(So this chapter isn't the best and I'm sorry about that and I'm also sorry it took so long for it to be posted. I've been experiencing extreme writers block but I think I have a good grasp on whats to happen next. The 11 taild wolf Setsuna is a bit of a messy character so if you have an idea for his personality I would love the help. Anyway hope you liked it and thanks for waiting so long!)
