The End
"Amor, I–"
"Don't fucking 'amor'me!" SapNap snapped, turning to face Quackity. "You think that's going to fix ANYTHING?" He asked, hair flashing orange out of anger. Quackity tensed at this, taking a step back. "I–I'm sorry," Quackity said in almost a whisper. "I can't fucking believe you– I fucking defended you!! I was on your side!" SapNap continued to scream. "For months, you tortured my best friend over a book? A fuckING BOOK?!" He shrieked, slamming his fist against the wall. His eyes and hair flashed bright orange, glowing tears of frustration filling his eyes as he stared into Quackity's frightened ones.
Karl watched from afar, arms crossed as his vibrant yellow eyes stared at the two. Dream stood beside him, simple grin of satisfaction being on his lips. "Funny thing is," Dream started, Karl glancing over at him. "This could have been prevented." Karl took a moment before scoffing, looking back at SapNap and Quackity. "Everything that happened could have been prevented," Karl said in a sad tone, gripping the sleeves to his hoodie in a way of hugging himself. Dream looked at the shorter male, placing a hand on his back in a comforting manner. "A shame that you have to go through this," Dream said sympathetically. "Especially since he's your fiance. I must hurt finally knowing what type of man he is." Karl shakily sighed, shutting his eyes for a moment. "I'm not worried about my pain," he responded, eyes opening to reveal the tears that formed. "SapNap's is my concern at the moment."
"SapNap, please," Quackity begged, gripping the wrist of his lover. "Please, just let me explain! You have to understand why I had to do it!"
SapNap yanked his arm away, growling slightly as he glared at Quackity. "I don't have to understand SHIT!" He responded. "All I understand is that Karl was right!" Quackity froze, eyes widening slightly. "What...," he started, the pain in his heart growing. "..what do you mean?" He asked, quiet voice cracking slightly. SapNap's lips quivered as he raised his hand, engagement ring shining slightly. He pulled it off, dropping it on the floor with a light tinking noise. He raised his foot, crushing the piece of jewelry with it. He ground his foot against the ground a couple times as he watched Quackity's expression shift to horror, every ounce of pain SapNap had piled up releasing itself with the tears he involuntarily shed. "You're nothing but a monster," he said with a trembling voice. He didn't give Quackity a chance to respond - even if he was able to. All the Latino could do was watch as the fire demon made his way over to Karl and Dream, his armor clanking slightly as he did so.
Dream and Karl turned to the exit just as SapNap reached it, Dream placing his hands on their backs to comfort them. As they made their way through said exit, he looked over his shoulder to get one last look at Quackity. He was a mess, hiccups and choked sobs leaving the sobbing male. He saw the shit eating grin the formed on Dream's face, him hugging himself tightly as he screwed his eyes shut. He fell to his knees, hunching over as he uncontrollably cried. It was as if he could feel every last bit of hope he had left be ripped away from him. He wouldn't be getting his happy ending.
