Missing Cake

"So," Quackity started as he folded his arms together, glaring slightly at his two fiances that sat on the living room couch. "Who did it?" He finished, gray eyes holding annoyance. Karl glanced to the side slightly, clearing his throat as he tugged on the collar of his hoodie. His freckled face held an expression of nervousness.
"Uh– who– who did what?" Karl asked, eyes quickly darting back to Quackity. They made eye contact, Karl's hazel eyes blinking a few times.
"Don't fucking play dumb– Who. Did. It," Quackity replied, eyes landing on SapNap. SapNap wasn't even facing his smaller fiance, leg tapping nervously as he gripped the hem of his shirt. "Gotta be more specific than that, babes," he spoke, voice cracking slightly. He wouldn't admit it, but he was scared of Quackity at the moment.
"Who at my cake?" Quackity asked, upset that his sweet treat was no longer around. "I see the crumbs on the couch and there's napkins with icing on them in the trash, so I know one of you did it." The other males both tensed, Karl quickly looking out the window. He bit the inside of his cheek nervously, debating on whether or not to speak up. SapNap stayed in the same position, propping an arm on the armrest and biting his knuckles lightly. Quackity's eyes darted between the two, hands lowering and being placed on his hips. "Well?" He spoke, raising a brow. Karl sighed.

          "We both did–"
"kARL," SapNap exclaimed, snapping his head over in his brunette fiance's direction. "What?! Did you want me to lie?" Karl asked, both him and Quackity staring at him.
"No– in MY defense, I came out here and he was already eating it, He just offered me some," SapNap quickly explained, Quackity closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Look, I'm sorry okay? I didn't know it was yours– please don't be mad at me," Karl said, standing and walking over to Quackity.
"I'm not mad, just annoyed it took you forever to speak up," Quackity admitted, looking up at Karl. Karl let out a soft sigh of relief, followed by an "Oh thank God."
"You both are buying me a new one," Quackity spoke, turning on his heel before making his way into the kitchen.
