          SapNap sprang up in bed, panting heavily as he felt beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He felt himself shake lightly as his panicked eyes scanned the room quickly, taking in his surroundings. The only light he had was the dim red LEDs from his alarm clock. He glanced over to check the time; 4:03AM. He felt a shift next to him in the bed, causing him to tense slightly. "Nick?" A tired, quiet voice spoke. That voice belonged to Karl, SapNap's fiance. SapNap looked over to see that Karl had too sat up. He reached an arm over, switching the lamp next to him on. They both squinted their eyes at the light, blinking multiple times to get used to it. "What's wrong? Why are you up?" Karl questioned, rubbing his slightly stinging eyes before locking his chocolate brown eyes with SapNap's night sky ones. A shaky breath left SapNap as he replied "Just a bad dream."
          Karl frowned slightly, reaching an arm up and rubbing his frightened fiance's back. "Hey, it's okay. It's not real," Karl spoke, SapNap nodding slightly. Karl bit the inside of his cheek, tired brain trying to think of how to help coax SapNap back to sleep. "Do you want me to hold you? Will that make you feel better?" He then asked, SapNap glancing over. "Honestly.. probably it would, yea," he responded, Karl flashing a caring smile as he nodded. He laid back down, opening his arms for SapNap after he shut the lamp off. SapNap laid down, resting his head on Karl's chest and hugging his figure tightly. He shut his eyes as he felt Karl's arm wrap around him. He had begun to play with SapNap's raven colored locks, which surprisingly helped the frightened man begin to feel safe and calm down. Karl hummed a soft tune, closing his tired eyes as he soon began to hear SapNap's quiet snores.
