Naina was upset with the news of Sunaina and her family having dinner at Sameer's house. Although, she love family gathering like this... but she can't help thinking about the outcome of this family dinner.

" Sunaina tumhari hi class mein toh hai... Sameer, tum aur Sunaina dost ho... isliye sath dinner karne ke  liye invite kar rahi thi tumhe."
Vishakha said and looked at her expectantly.

Naina didn't want to interfere a family gathering... but she didn't want to go away when she knew who was going to be here with Sameer.
She was going to accept the invitation but then she thought,
"Taiji ko bina bataye aisa kuch kiya toh pata nahi kya haal karengi? Upar se raat ka khaana bhi banana hai mujhe."

Inwardly sighing, she smiled a little and answered,
"Aunty... iss baar nahi ruk paungi. Wo Taiji raah dekh rahi hongi. Sorry."

Vishakha understood her... and appreciates her sense of responsibility.

"Koi baat nahi beta."
She said, caressing Naina's cheek.

Naina blushed slightly... she never experienced this motherly warmth from anyone.

Sameer was in his room, studying notes, prepared by Naina.
He sometimes gets surprised... how much he has changed... he was studying and on top of that he was liking it.
Maybe it was... what he calls,
'Naina ka jaadu'.

Grinning widely, he said,
"Kya jaadu kar rahi ho, Naina? Tumhare sath-sath... padhai se bhi pyaar hone laga hai. Jab bhi main koi topic aache se padhta hu... aur tumhe batata hu... tumhare chehre par jo badi si smile aati hai... tumhari aankhon mein jo chamak aati hai... uske liye toh main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon."

Just then Rahul enters the room, he smirked looking at his brother lost.
"Aise kiske khayalon mein kho gaye ho? "

Sameer gets startled and focuses on his book. He abruptly said,
"Kisi ke nahi... wo kuch padhai ka hi soch raha tha."

Rahul shook his head and with a warm smile, he said,
"Waise mujhe yeh dekhkar bohat khushi hui ki aap mann laga kar padhai kar rahe ho... hamara aakhri saal hai aur phir college. Iss baar toh main aapke sath hi admission lunga."

Raising his eyebrows, Sameer asked,
"Achanak se kya hua?"

Rahul couldn't tell him the real reason...Preeti. He wanted to be close to her...wanted to know about her... her likes or dislikes.

Smiling nervously, he answered, "Woh bss... aise hi. Aapko apne bhai ka sath pasand nahi."

"Pagal... aisa kuch nahi hai. Khair... abhi yaha kyu?"
Sameer asked, closing his book.

Rahul suddenly realised and asked looking at his brother clothes, "Aree haa... aap... aap ready nahi hue."

Furrowing his eyes, Sameer asked,"Ready?"

"Aap bhul gaye kya? Hadd hai bhaiya... Mummy ne lunch par hi bataya tha."

Sameer tries to remember but he only know that at that time he was thinking about Naina. Oh God! He really has gone crazy.

"Kya... Kya kaha tha?"
Sameer asked, smiling sheepishly.

Rahul rolled his eyes and said,
"Aaj dinner par mehmaan aa rahe hai."

Sameer got up and went towards his cupboard. Taking out his clothes, he asked, "Mehmaan? Kaun?"

"Aapki school friend...Sunaina aur uski family."

"Sunaina? Par uski family ko invite... aise achanak?"

"Sunaina ki mummy... Sejal aunty mummy ki dost hai."
Rahul said with a shrug.

Sameer nodded with a sigh.

"Khair ab ready ho jaao aur neeche aa  jana.   Sab aate hi honge."
Rahul said and goes outside.

Sameer went towards the bathroom and got change.

Sunaina and her family was joining his family for dinner...it wasn't a big deal for him.
He sighed, only if it was Naina and her family coming at his house.

Sameer thought how much he would have been excited. Planning each and everything...trying to impress her family members.
Ruffling his hairs, he said to himself,
"Jyada sapne mat dekh, Sameer."

Door bell rang, Vishakha and Vivek goes to open the door.
It was the Parekh family. They greeted and went towards the living room.

Mahendra and Sejal took Nanu's blessing. Sejal signalled Sunaina to do the same, she rolled her eyes and with a fake smile... she bends down but Nanu stopped her,
"Are... Are betiyan paon  nahi chhuti."

Everyone smiled and settles down in the living room.

Sunaina eyes searched for that special person... for whom she was tolerating this family gathering. She was never a fan of all this.
Faking a smile, she thought,
"Sameer ke liye kya-kya karna padh raha hai? Uff...muskurate hue gaal hi thak gaye mere. Pata nahi, Sameer kahan reh gaya?"

Suddenly, Ramdhari came and said,
"Ji aap sab log aaiye na... Khaana laga diya hai."

"Chalo bhai... badi zoro ki bhook lagi hai."
Mahendra said and everyone laughs except Sunaina and Sejal, who just passed a small smile.
It was only Mahendra, from the parekh family, who was enjoying the night with the Maheshwari's... the other two, Sejal and Sunaina, was here on a mission.
Mission to get Sunaina and Sameer close... Mission to increase the family relations between the two family... which will benefit them in future.

Sunina kept her eyes on stairs and like her wish got granted... she saw Sameer coming downstairs.
Her eyes twinkled with happiness and excitement.

She kept staring at him. Coming down from stairs... the air was blowing Sameer's hair and that cute smile adorning his face... all this made her heart fluttered.

Sejal saw her daughter gawking at Sameer. She was  proud that her daughter choose an amazing and handsome guy for herself... on the top of that he belonged to a reputed and rich family.

Everyone settles at the dining table. Sunaina was still standing. Sameer came and took elders blessings.
He looked at Sunaina and said,
"Hi, Sunaina... tumne school mein kyu nahi bataya dinner ke baarein mein?"

Sunaina smiled and answered, "Woh mujhe bhi ghar jakar pata chala. Mummy ne bataya."

He nodded. Just then, Vishakha said,
"Arre baacho tum dono wahan kyu khade ho? Betho na."

Sameer and Sunaina smiled... both sat down beside each other. However, it was not a big deal for Sameer... his main focus was having delicious dinner but for Sunaina... it was something she always wanted... being with Sameer.

"Aaj sab waise hi jaa raha hai... jaise main chahti hoon... bss Sameer ke sath kuch akele mein baat karne ko mil jaaye. Mummy ne zarur kuch na kuch plan kar rakha hoga. Aaj Sameer aur mere beech main kisi ko bhi aane nahi dungi."
She thought and smirked.

Deepika glared at Sunaina... Ramdhari was going to serve her but she stopped him.
"Ruko bhaiya!"

Everyone looked at Deepika. Vishakha worriedly asked,
"Kya hua, Deepu?"

Deepika stood up from her seat and goes across the table... towards Sameer.
"Main Sameer bhaiya ke sath kahungi."

Everyone smiled seeing the siblings love except Sunaina, who cursed that young girl under her breath.

Sameer smiled and made her sat on his lap. Both brother and sister started eating together.

Sunaina gritted her teeth...Sameer wasn't paying attention to her.
She glared at Deepika and then glanced at her mom... who just blinked her eyes in assurance.
She sighed and started having dinner halfheartedly.

"Mummy... Zara chawal ka bowl pass kijiye."
Sameer asked, while feeding a morsel to Deepika.

Vishakha nodded and as she was going to pick... Sunaina beats her into this and said with a wide smile,
"Main pass kar deti hoon, aunty."

She picked the bowl and served rice to Sameer, who smiled awkwardly. Sejal smirked at his daughter smart move.

She slightly glances at everyone on the table, they all just passed a small smile and then continued eating except Vishakha, who was admiring Sunaina with a wide smile.

After dinner, everyone returned to the living room... waiting for the dessert.

Sunaina sat down with Sameer and tried to start a conversation with him.
"Sameer... next month exams hai. Tumhari tayari kaisi chal rahi hai?"
She asked.

Hearing Sunaina's question...a sudden wide smile appeared on Sameer face, he said,
"Kuch mahine pehle yeh baat puchti toh kehta ki padhai ka kuch aata-pata nahi par ab nahi."

"Matlab?"
Sunaina again asked with confusion.

Sighing happily, Sameer said, "Matlab ki tayari bohat aache se chal rahi hai."

"Accha... waise yeh padhai ke prati itna lagav kaise?"
She teased him.

Grinning widely, he said, "Bss samajh lo... bhagwan ne meri zindagi ko sawarne ke liye ... usko aur bhi zyada khushiyon se bharne ke liye kisi ko bhej diya hai."

"Accha kaun?"
Sunaina asked with curiosity.

"Nai-... Nanu. Mere Nanu. Unhi ki baat kar raha hoon."
Sameer almost spilled the name,... he doesn't want anyone to know about his feelings towards Naina... he want her to be the first one. He didn't even share this with his two best friends.

Sunaina smiled in realisation. She then thought,
"Yaha par sab bethe hai... kaise baat karu? Sameer ke sath akele mein time spend karna hai."

She glanced at her mother, and signalled her to do something. Sejal nodded slightly and then suddenly said,
"Waise Vishakha ji aapka garden bohat sundar hai."

Vishakha smiled and said, "Ji woh papa ko gardening ka bohat shauk hai."

"Aree shauk toh Vishakha ki maa ko toh... hum toh bss unki yaad mein thoda bohat kar lete hai."
Nanu said fondly... remembering his late wife.

Everyone smiled... Sejal then said, "Sunaina ko bhi gardening ka shauk hai. Haina beta."

Mahendra furrowed his eyebrows...because he knew Sunaina never liked gardening because according to Sunaina, it was an disgusting hobby. She doesn't want her nails and her dress to get dirty from all the mud and dirt.

But to his surprise, Sunaina smiled widely and agreed. He looked at his wife confused and then saw her signalling his daughter...something. He founded it fishy but then thought that he will discuss it at home.

Sunaina then asked in a gentle voice, "Aap sabko bura na lage toh main aapka garden dekh sakti hoon?"

Vivek nodded and said, "Haa, haa beta jao na."

She waited for someone to mention Sameer, accompanying her.
But no one did... she forced a smile and got up.
Just then, Rahul stood up and said,
"Hum sab baache bahar chale jaate hai. Aap bade log beth kar baatein karo."

"Theek hai... main Ramdhari ko bol dungi metha bahar serve kar dega tumko."
Vishakha said.

Sameer, Deepika and Rahul, followed by Sunaina, went outside in the garden.
The light breeze was so calming that it immediately bring a wide smile on the siblings face... however Sunaina, she was lost in her thoughts,
"Hadd hai... jahan jao koi na koi sath hi chal padta hai. Sameer ke sath akele time bitane ko mil hi nahi raha. Sab ke sab chipku hai iss family mein."

Just then, they saw a flowed pot was broken.
Pointing at it, Deepika said,"Sameer bhaiya... dekho na yeh tuta hua hai."

Sameer checked and said, "Haa lagta hai... baache bahar khelte hai unki ball lagkar tut gaya hoga."

Just then Rahul saw a new flowerpot kept under the bench.
"Yaha par kuch naye gamle rakhe hai... Nanu laaye honge. Aao uss paudhe ko isme laga dete hai."

Sameer smiled and went towards the pot but Deepika stopped him.
"Sameer bhaiya yeh kam aap kaise kar sakte ho... aapko toh gardening nahi aati."

"Koi baat nahi... zyada kuch nahi karna."
He said and patted her cheeks.

"Nahi...Nahi. Yeh kam expert ko karne do."
Deepika said keeping her hand on Sameer's arm.

"Expert? Kaun?"
Rahil asked.

"Sunaina didi."
Deepika answered immediately and looked at Sunaina innocently.

Hearing her name, Sunaina came out of her thoughts and aksed,
"Kya? Kya hua?"

"Sunaina didi... woh gamla tut gaya hai. Usme jo plant hai aap usko new wale mein laga do."
The little girl said with a cute face.

Scrunching her nose, she pointed at herself, "Main?"

Deepika nodded and said innocently, "Haa... aapko toh gardening aati haina. Kar dijiye."

Sunaina looked at Sameer, who pursed his lips... waiting for her answer. She gritted her teeth and said,
"Kyu nahi? Laao."

She goes towards the broken flowerpot...Sameer brought the new one to her.

Sunaina looked at the mud and said, "Ab yeh bhi karna padega... saari mitti mere hath mein... aur yeh toh meri favorite dress hai... thodi bhi mitti lag gayi toh. Kaha phass gayi!"

"Sunaina didi... jaldi karo na."

"Haa... kar rahi hoon."
Sunaina said with a forced smile and places the plant into the new pot. Her face twisted in disgust.

"Theek hai ab."
She said and stood up. Sameer smiled and said, 'thankyou'. Sunaina faked a smile... her mood was totally ruined.
Looking at her hands and nails, she excused herself and went inside the house to wash  the dirt.

Coming back, she heard giggling sound. Turning her head... she saw Sameer and Rahul were trying to catch Deepika... who was running here and there.

Sunaina glared at the trio, she thought,
"Saara plan kharab diya... upar se yeh mitti ka sab kam. Ugh... yeh sab log hamesha mere aur Sameer ke beech aate rehte hai."

Deepika saw her standing alone and went towards her.
"Aapko toh garden dekhna tha na... toh yaha akele kyu khade ho? Aao hamare sath."

The innocent girl asked with genuine worry lingering in her eyes... thinking maybe Sunaina was feeling left out. She maybe doesn't like her but the innocent soul doesn't want her to feel hurt.
Moreover, Deepika was happy with Sunaina because she helped in gardening.

Sunaina,on the other hand, was looking at her furiously. She thought,
"Yeh toh sabse bada karan hai mere aur Sameer ke sath nahi hone ka."

Passing a small smile, she looked at Sameer and Rahul, who were busy talking with each other.
She then turned her attention towards Deepika and asked,
"Aapke ghar ke peeche bada sa swimming pool hai na?"

Widening her eyes, Deepika said with a wide smile,
"Haa... bohat bada hai. Aapko dekhne hai?"

Sunaina smirked and asked,"Aap le chaloge?"

Deepika nodded excitedly. She held her hand and took her towards the backside of the mansion... to the swimming pool.
Sunaina followed the innocent girl with a devilish smile.
