Next morning, Sameer got up very early. Dressed in his school uniform, he was grinning widely.

He came down from his room... Nanu who just has returned from temple got surprised.
"Arre Sameer, itni jaldi tayar kyu hogya? Abhi toh kaafi samay hai."

Just then, Vishakha came out from the kitchen. She widened her eyes, and said,
"Sameer-"

Rolling his eyes, Sameer said, "Mummy ab aap bhi mat puchna ki aaj mujhe kya hua hai?"

Nanu and Vishakha chuckled.
She then said, "Puchna toh padega? Arre abhi toh Rahul aur Deepika uthe hi hai... waise toh hamesha unke jaane ke baad hi school jaata hai. Aur aaj... kuch toh baat hai?"

"Kuch nahi hai... woh cricket practice. School mein cricket practice ke liye sab boys jaldi aa rahe hai."
Sameer said.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Vishakha asked, "Cricket practice? School?"

"Sameer, tumne kab school team mein hissa liya. Bataya bhi nahi?"
Nanu asked

Sameer smiled nervously,"Mummy, abhi kuch final jaisa nahi hai...bss bulaya hai... jo interested hai."

"Accha... abhi ruk kuch kha kar jaana."

"Mummy, mujhe -"
Befor he could argue, Vishakha goes back to the kitchen.

Nanu looked at Sameer... with a smirk.
Sameer felt nervous and asked,
"Kya hua, Nanu? Aap aise kyu dekh rahe ho?"

"Dekh raha hu... mera hero bohat badal gaya hai."

Sameer gulped nervously and said,"Badal gaya hu? Nahi toh."

Nanu got up from the sofa and said, "Beta ji, yeh baal dhoop mein safed nahi hue hai. Tum chahe jo bhi kaho... kuch toh hai... Koi wajah toh hai... jo mera hero... Badal raha hai."

Softly patting Sameer's cheek, Nanu chuckled and said,
"Aur sach kahe toh hume yeh badlav kaafi pasand aa raha hai."

Nanu left from there with a knowing smile on his face. Just then, Vishakha came there with a glass of milk.
"Sameer, yeh le. Jaldi se pee le."

Sameer look at the wall clock and said,
"Mummy late ho jaayega."

"Chup kar... 5 minute lagenge. Jaldi si pee le. Khali pet jaayega toh cricket kya... Cricket ka bat bhi nahi pakad paayega."
Vishakha said.

He chuckled and drank the whole glass. Suddenly Ramdhari came there with a tiffin in his hand.

"Lijiye...Vishakha mausi. Humne jaldi se 2 seb kat diye."

"Mummy, kya zarurat thi? Aapko pata hai...main canteen mein khana kha leta hu."
Sameer whined.

"Haa, par subha-subha itni mehnat ke baad... Bhook lag gayi toh. Aur canteen toh lunch mein khulegi na."
Vishakha said and handed him the lunch.

Sameer smiled and goes from there.

Naina hurriedly does all the household chores.

"Nashta ready hai... Chai ban gayi hai. Ghar ki saaf-safai bhi hogayi hai."

She went inside in her room, and wore her school uniform. She looked at herself in the mirror.
"Bss, ab ek sabse mushkil kam karna baaki hai... Taiji ko batana hai."

Taking a deep breath, Naina came out from her room. Tai ji,who just took her bath, got surprised to see Naina ready in her school uniform.

"O bai, aaj itni jaldi kyu tayar hogayi? Abhi toh school mein time hai... kahin kam se bachne ke liye toh nahi bhaag rahi."

"Nahi, Taiji... ghar ka sab kaam hogaya hai. Nashta bhi table par rakh diya hai aur chai tayar hai."
Naina said and took the tea tray from the dining table.

Taiji narrowed her eyes and asked,
"Toh itni jaldi school kyu jaana hai?"

Naina lowered her ryes and said, "Taiji woh... exam aa rahe hai. Toh school ki library mein jakar kuch extra notes banane hote hai."

"Kya zarurat hai?"
Taiji asked narrowing her eyes.

"Taiji... library mein kuch kitaben hai jo mujhe chahiye. Bahar se kharidni nahi padegi."

Taiji thought for a while and said with an annoyed face,
"Theek hai... theek hai. Ab kya chai hath mein lekar khadi rahegi yaa degi bhi?"

Naina smiled in relief, serving the tea to Taiji.
She hurriedly takes her bag and was going out, just then Tauji enters inside the house.

Naina shockingly looks at Tauji.

Sameer reaches school, with a wide grin on his face. It was the first time, he had come this early... the slight breeze flowing... making his hair fly in air.
He smiled widely... a sudden calmness surrounds him.

Parking his bike, he went inside the school.
Slowly, reaching the library... he opens the door, excitedly.

Tauji glares at Naina, who slowly stepped aside.

"Aree, Pralay ke papa... aap aagaye. Oh Naina, waha kya khadi hai... ja paani lekar aa."
Taiji said.

Naina hurriedly went inside the kitchen, bringing water. She passed the glass to Tauji, who glances at her.
"Itni jaldi... School."

Taiji annoyingly said, "Maine bhi roka tha... par maharani par padhai ka bhoot kuch jayada hi chadha hua hai."

Naina nervously stuttered,"Woh... Woh Tauji. Exam aa rahe hai aur-"

Tauji showed his hand, and said,
"Yaad rakho Naina... yeh sab karne se kuch fayda nahi hoga... aakhir mein tum jaanti ho ki tumhari kismat mein kya hai?"

Naina pursed her lips, knowing well... what he was talking about?
She nodded quietly. Tauji went inside the room to freshen up.
Taiji goes behind him.

Naina takes a shaky breath and went from there.
"Unki baaton se apna mood kharab mat kar, Naina."

After reaching school, Naina hurriedly goes towards the library.

She eagerly went inside the room and search for him.
When she didn't find him... she got sad,
"Mujhe jaldi bulakar... khud hi nahi aaya. Yeh bhi koi baat hui bhala!"

Suddenly, she heard,
"Wahi toh... yeh bhi koi baat hui bhala."

Turning back, Naina saw Sameer standing at the entrance with a mischievous smile on his face.

Her heart skipped a beat... she slowly passed a small smile.

Sameer came towards her and again said,
"Yeh bhi koi baat hui bhala... student ka late aana banta hai... par teacher ji hi late aayengi toh kaise chalega?"

Naina suppress her smile but didn't said anything.
He saw her hiding her smile amd smirked,
"Toh jaise... Student ko punishment milti hai."

She looked at him with widened eyes and asked while battling her eyelashes,
"Mujhe punish karoge?"

Sameer gulped seeing her cute reaction... her innocent face. He blushed...his heartbeat quickens...suddenly, he wanted to hug her tightly.

Naina saw him looking at her intensely, she stared at him strangely.
Why he was looking at her like this? Did she said something wrong?

"Kya hua Sameer?"
She asked cautiously.

"Uh... Woh... Kuch nahi. Ab... Ab padhai karte hai."
He stuttered nervously and sat down at the seat, near the window.

Naina looked at him, Sameer was trying to hide his face.
She quietly sat down beside him and saw his  flushed face.

Naina was surprised,
"Kya... Kya Sameer sharma raha hai?"

She smiled shyly and thought to tease him.
"Sameer."

He hummed in response... his eyes were on his textbook.

"Maine toh kal aise hi bandar keh diya tha... ab sachi mein bankar dikhane ki zarurat nahi hai."
She said with a small smirk.

Sameer got confused and looked at her.
She smirked and said,
"Dekho na... tumhare gaal lal jo ho gaye hai."

He widened his eyes and looked away. Naina laughed softly and said,
"Mujhe kya pata tha ki Sameer Maheshwari ko sharmana bhi aata hai. Waise bhi... jitna main tumhe jaanti hu-"

"Kitna jaanti ho mujhe?"

His sudden question caught her off guard. He faced her... and looked at her again with intensely.
His gaze held her... she was unable to look
away.

Sameer saw the same intensity in her eyes... he got surprised.

Naina, suddenly gasped and immediately looked away. She thought,
"Kya kar rahi hai, Naina? Kahin Sameer ko teri aankhon mein... Uske liye  pyaar na dikh jaaye. Dhyaan rakh."

Sameer, on the other hand, was left confused.
"Kya jo maine dekha... woh sach tha? Yaa mera veham?"

He was again going to ask the same question. But just then, Naina stomach growled.
She widened her eyes and then immediately closes them. Her face turned red with embarrassment.
Not having dinner last night and then the excitement to meet Sameer... she didn't have the breakfast.
"Sab kuch Sameer ke saamne hi hona hota hai. Pata nahi kya soch raha hoga?"

Naina slowly open her eyes and without looking at him, she said,
"Woh... nashta nahi kiya isliye."

Furrowing his eyebrows, he was going to ask her, why? But then realised something... and clenching his fists, Sameer asked, "Kyu? Kya tumhari Taiji-"

"Arre nahi...Woh tumse milna tha na isliye."
Naina said abruptly and then realised what she blurted out.

"Matlab subah padhne ke liye... milna tha."
She covered up immediately.

Sameer blinked his eyes, and then suddenly a smirk appeared on his face.
"Waise toh maine bhi nashta nahi kiya."

"Tumne kyu nahi kiya?"
She asked innocently.

Sameer smiled and gently said, "Tumse milna tha na."

Naina widened her eyes and waited for him to say... or to correct himself that he was... maybe excited to study.
But Sameer didn't add up anything... just kept staring at Naina with an intense expression.

He took out his lunch box and opened it... offering it to her.
"Ab sath mein nashta miss kiya hai toh...sath mein kar bhi lete hai. Aur waise bhi main roz tumhare tiffin se khata hu... aaj tumhari baari."

Naina smiled seeing the slices of apple.
Picking a slice of apple, she said with a genuine smile,
"Thankyou."

He too picked a slice and both ate the lunch together.

Sameer was stealing glances at her.
With a soft smile on his lips, he thought,
"Yeh ehsaas tumhari aankhon mein pehli bhi dekha tha... par hamesha socha ki main hi galat hu... par shayad...shayad Sameer kahin na kahin Naina ke dil mein teri liye feelings hai."

He felt excited and confident. Sighing he just wished,
"Kaash jo abhi tumhari aankhon mein dekha woh sach ho... mera veham nahi."

After finishing the lunch, Naina smiled... she was really famished.
"Waise tumne toh abhi hi apna lunch khatam kar liya... phir break time mein kya khaoge?"
She asked feeling bad.

Sameer smirked and said, "Tumhara lunch... jaise hamesha share karti ho aaj nahi karogi?"

Naina chuckled, "Sochungi."

He gasped in surprise... she started giggling looking at his expressions. Listening to her cute giggling, Sameer grinned widely.
Morning time...break time and at evening ...they both were feeling contented knowing that... they both were going to spend more time with each other... together.

After half an hour of serious studying, Naina said with an impressed expression,
"Tum toh aise hi tension le rahe the... tum kitni jaldi topic ko catch kar rahe ho."

Sameer smirked,
"Ab teacher best hai... toh student ko bhi best hona padega."

"Tum toh best hi ho, Sameer."
Lowering her head, Naina mumbled softly.

He smiled shyly and thought,
"Kaash yeh baat tum meri aankhon mein dekh kar kehti."

Suddenly, they heard a little commotion... Naina peeked outside from the window.

"Sameer... hume chalna chahiye. Sab baache aane lage hai."

Sameer checked the time from his wrist watch and sighed,
"Haa, 15 minute mein... bell baj jaayegi. Chalna chahiye."

She nodded and both put back their books.

Walking towards the door, Sameer asked,
"Woh... woh tum...tum pehle jao. Koi dekhega toh?"

This time Naina didn't hide her hurt expression and said,
"Sahi keh rahe ho. Tum... tumhe mere sath... sab bolenge behenji ke sath-"

Sameer saw the hurt and her sad smile. He cut her off immediately,
"Nahi!"

Naina looked at him shockingly... his eyes held concern and anger.
She looked down not wanting to make something a big deal out of it.
Maybe he was pitying her, she thought.

Sameer want to hug her... want to hold her hands... come closer to her and clear the misunderstanding.
Atleast, he could tell her... by looking into her eyes... but she doesn't even looking at him.

Suddenly, he heard a sniff... widening his eyes, he looked at Naina.

Naina was unable to handle her emotions... she was connecting the dots.
"Sahi kaha tha Tauji ne...Naina tu jaanti hai na teri kismat mein kya hai? Sameer nahi hai... par kya karu? Inn choti mulaqaton se ek umeed jaag jaati hai... par phir kuch aisa hota hai jisse woh umeed ki kiran bhi chali jaati hai. Sameer... woh kyu mere sath dikhna chahega?"

Naina again sniffed trying to control her tears from flowing out.

Sameer heart clenched, he didn't think anything else and came closer to her.
He slowly puts his index finger under her chin and made her look at him.

Naina looked at him shockingly. Whereas Sameer saw her eyes filled with tears... his eyes softened.
Again gazing into his eyes... again seeing that intense feeling in his eyes, Naina got lost in them... her own eyes depicting the same but with feeling of pain and longing.

Sameer wanted to came a little more closer... want to touch her a little more but he couldn't.
Staring at her... her eyes, he was sure... sure that Naina has some feelings for her. He don't know... if Naina has realised them like him... but now he was definitely sure... his Naina has feelings for him.

Naina closes her eyes and thought,"Nahi Naina... aur umeed mat jaga... Kuch nahi hai aisa."

Sameer frowned, seeing her closed his eyes. He realised maybe she was still thinking about him asking to go alone.
"Naina abhi bhi galat samajh rahi hai... mujhe laga ki woh comfortable nahi hogi. Magar usne toh galat samjh liya... aur woh aisa kyu keh rahi hai... main uske baarein mein aisa soch bhi nahi sakta!"

Sighing, he closes his eyes for a moment and then smiled, he have to do something... have to say something.
She should know, what he thinks?

Naina slowly opens her eyes... and found Sameer still looking at her. She looked away and said,
"Chalna chahiye... tum pehle jaa sakte ho."

With a small soft smile, he shook his head and leaned closer to her.
His heart was beating too fast, what if Naina didn't liked him being closer... but he took a little risk.

Naina gasped in surprise, seeing him closer. Sameer waited for her... to push him...but she didn't.

He smiled and leaning a little more closer... he slowly whispered in her ears,
"Ek khoobsurat sa chehra... ek pyaari si muskaan...aankhon mein hai ek ujwal bhavishye ke armaan ...masoom sa dil... jisme hai har kisi ke liye pyaar aur samaan... yahi toh hai Naina ki pehchaan."

Naina slowly opens her eyes... Sameer pulled himself back and smiled looking at her.
"Class ke liye late ho raha hai... chale."

With that, he walked out of the room with a shy smile on his face.

Who had thought... one tutoring session will result in this?
Sameer was happy and excited...looking forward to have more of session like this... maybe...maybe he will get the right time to confess.
