The whole sunday goes with Sameer trying to come up with a way to solve Naina's problem.

"Aisa kya karu... jisse uss Pappu ko Naina se hamesha-hamesha ke liye durr kar sakun. Naina kitni pareshan hai...kuch aisa karna padega jisse Pappu ke gharwale sagai ke liye khud hi mana kar de. Magar kya?"

It was almost night, and still he didn't got any idea. Feeling frustrated, he went outside and found Nanu sitting in the living room.

Sameer asked, "Nanu, aap yaha. Mujhe laga aap soo gaye hoge? "

Nanu smiled and said,
"Tu bhi toh jaag raha hai."

"Haa, woh bss neend nahi aa rahi hai. Nanu main woh-"

"Naina ke baarein mein soch raha tha."

Sameer smiled sheepishly. " Nanu, kabhi-kabhi yeh sawal mann mein aate hai ki ladki se uski marzi kyu nahi puchi jaati? Agar aisa hota toh Naina ko kabhi yeh zabardasti wali sagai nahi karni padti."

Nanu sighed, "Aisa nahi hai, Sameer. Sabhi aise nahi hote... haa, kuch hote hai jo ladki ki manzuri se jyada ladke ki manzuri ko mehetwa dete hai. Par kuch aise log bhi hote hai jinke liye unki beti ki manzuri sabse jyada zaruri hoti hai."

Sameer sat down, near him, on the floor. Keeping his head in Nanu's lap.
"Pata nahi, Nanu. Mujhe Naina ke liye bohat fiqar ho rahi hai...kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai. Kaise uski madad karu?"

"Sameer, main jaanta hu. Tujhe apne doston ki kitni parwah hai. Aur main bhi Naina ki madad karna chahta hu. Par... hum kar bhi kya sakte hai?"

"Mujhe toh samjh nahi aata, shaadi ke rishte mein ladka aur ladki dono ki manzuri zaruri hoti hai. Waise dekha jaaye toh sabse jyada ladki ki kyunki... Use apna sab kuch, pariwar, ghar... sab chor kar aana hoga. Apni purani zindagi bhul kar use nayi zindagi shuru karni hogi. Phir bhi kuch log aisa kyu karte hai?"
Sameer said angrily.

Nanu patted his head, " Kuch logon ki soch aisi hi hoti hai, Sameer. "

"Kaash hum inn logo ki soch ko badal sakte."

"Soch ko badalna koi asan kam nahi hota hai, Sameer. Tumne hi bataya tha ki Geeta ko bhi apne bhai aur pariwar ki soch pasand nahi... socho agar woh unki beti hokar, apne maa-papa ki soch nahi badal paayi toh hum kaise."

Sameer looked a little sad.

Nanu smiled and said,
"Soch ko badlo, Sitaren badal jayenge
Nazar ko badlo, nazarein badal jayenge
Kashtiya badalne ki zarurat nahi,
Dishaon ko badlo, kinaare badal jaayenge.

Sameer beta, jaanta hu tumhare sirf keh dene se... ya mere samjhane se unki soch nahi badlegi."

He asked, "Toh kya karein Nanu?"

"Tu galat disha mein jaa raha hai,... iss rishte se judi ek kadi abhi Ahmedabad hai."

Sameer furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "Aap kya kehna chahte ho, Nanu? "

Nanu smirked and told Sameer about the idea, he came up with.
Sameer widened his eyes in surprise and hugged his Nanu.
"Aap best ho, Nanu."

Monday morning.
At the school, Sunaina came early today, hoping to meet Sameer.

"Bohat dino se dekh rahi hu... Sameer jaldi school aa jaata hai. Aaj main bhi jaldi jaakar usse baat karungi... kahin bahar milna ka plan banati hu. Ghar mikna ka plan banaya tha toh sab aa tapke... akele mein baat karungi."

Sitting down on hee seat, she saw around... only few students were there. She was surprised to not see Naina there.
"Kamal hai waise toh behenji roz jaldi aa jaati hai... magar aaj kal chutti par hai. Khair aacha hi hai...mujhe bilkul pasand nahi hai... Sameer hi hai jo uska dost ban betha hai, warna koi bhi baat nahi karta."

After waiting for 15 minutes, she saw Munna and Pandit entering the classroom. Grinning widely, she stood up to meet Sameer.
But he wasn't with Munna and Pandit.
"Sameer toh inn dono ke sath hi aata hai. Phir aaj aaya kyu nahi? Kaha hai woh?"

Munna and Pandit saw her looking at the entrance of the classroom.
They knew she was looking for Sameer.

" Hi Sunaina. " They both said together.

She smiled and again sat down. Just then, Preeti and Swati came there.
"Hi Sunaina... Aur Munna, Pandit... aaj teesra bandar nahi dikh raha hai."

Sunaina too looked at the boys, waiting for their answer.

"Sameer ke ghar gaye the... Vishakha aunty ne bataya ki Sameer parso wapis aayega."

Swati and Preeti nodded except Sunaina, who looked disappointed.
Munna and Pandit signalled Swati and Preeti, to look at Sunaina. Both the girls saw her looking sad.

"Accha, Munna... Deepika theek hai ab."
Swati asked trying to change the topic, but it only made Sunaina more angry... Deepika's name made her though about Sameer.

"Haa, Deepika ab theek hai."

The class teacher enters and soon everyone get indulge in the books. Sunaina was fuming from inside, it was the second time that Sameer had made her wait... and she hates to do that.
"Sameer ko toh mera ehsaan maana na chahiye... Sunaina Parekh use pasand karti hai... magar use toh bilkul bhi parwah  nahi.  Main Mumbai mein thi toh sab ladke bss mujhse dosti karne ke liye tadapte the... aur yahan Sameer Maheshwari... pata nahi kaha hai? "

Suddenly, she again noticed Naina's empty seat. " Ajeeb baat hai... aaj Naina bhi nahi aayi. Sameer aur Naina ne ek sath chutti li hai... kahin dono. Nahi, nahi tu bhi na Sunaina... woh behenji apne kisi gaon mein gayi hai... Sameer aur woh sath mein kaise ho sakte hai. "

Sunaina sighed and tries to concentrate on the lesson.

Geeta and Naina, as usual, were busy in making breakfast for everyone.

Lata comes into the kitchen and asked,
"Arre Naina beta, woh kapde toh ho gaye ab zara gehne bhi dekh leti... kam khatam karke aa jana."

Naina slowly nodded. Geeta, knew Naina didn't want to talk about this... so, she immediately took the tea tray in her hand.

"Maa, chalo na chai pi lo... Chaliye."

Lata smiled and said, " Arre par nashta toh ban jaane de. "

"Aap chalo... Naina bana kar le aayegi. Aap chalo mere sath."

Geeta and Lata left leaving Naina alone in the kitchen.

"Ab pata chala, Pappu kis par gaya hai... Uski tarah Lata mausi bhi shaadi ko lekar kitni deewani hogayi hai. Subah se... kabhi Pappu  aa jaata hai... Naina ji, yeh... Naina ji woh. Sagai kya tay hogayi hai, yeh toh bss pass aane ke mauka dhundta rehta hai."

Naina was done with making breakfast, just then Geeta enters the room.
"Naina didi! Chaliye... Jaldi chaliye."

"Oh ho... Geeta nashta laa toh rahi thi. Shaanti."

Geeta shook her head and said,"Arre nashta nahi... Aapko kuch dikhana hai. Jaldi chaliye."

"Kya dikhana hai? Aisa kya hogaya hai?"
Naina asked.

Grinning widely, Geeta said,"Aathwa ajooba dikhana hai... Chaliye."

"Kya? Aathwa ajooba? Geeta tu kya bol rahi hai?"

"Arre aap chaliye... Bss."

Geeta started dragging Naina with her. "Accha ek minute, nashte ki tray le lu. "

Naina picked the tray and went outside with Geeta.
Coming to the porch, Naina got stunned to see Sameer sitting their with everyone.
Was she dreaming?

And Geeta answered her question, " Agar aap soch rahi hai ki yeh sapna hai toh galat soch rahi ho... Jija ji sach mein hai. Woh sach mein aapke saamne hai. "

And as if, this much of surprise wasn't enough... She saw Tai ji massaging  Sameer's head.
She again looked at Geeta.

Geeta giggled, " Aathwa ajooba... humein toh laga tha Taiji ki mamta sirf Pralay ke liye hi hai... Magar dekh lo jija ji ne apna jaadu unn par bhi chala diya. "

Naina laughed softly and admired her Sameer. She saw him looking here and there, as if finding something or maybe S
someone.
Biting her lips, she suddenly felt butterflies in her stomach... thinking that Sameer was looking for her.

Geeta nudged Naina, " Oh ho... Sameer jija ji kisi ko toh dhund rahe hai."

Naina blushed slightly. Suddenly, she felt so save and happy.
"Mera hero aagaya."

"Naina didi! Jaiye, nashta parosiye."
Geeta said with a smirk.

Naina slowly goes to them, Lata smiled seeing her.
"Arre Naina beta... aao. Chaliye ab sab nashta kar lijiye."

Hearing, Naina's name... Sameer immediately looked at her direction. He smiled seeing her... and he slowly signalled her asking  if she was okay?

Naina slowly nodded and asked with her eyes, what was he doing here? He blinked his eyes, asking her to trust him.

And in a silent way they both communicated with each other. They both smiled, thinking how they both could understand each other so well.

Just then, Pappu came there and happily greeted Sameer.

" Pappu, tumne kaha tha ki mujhe apna pura gaon dikhaoge... toh dekho main aagaya. "

Madhav and Lata were happy with Pappu's friendship with Sameer... they thought their friendship will help to increase their status in the village... as only their family knows about the person who was going to set up a big factory in the village.

"Ha ha, Pappu beta... jao na. Sameer ko tum hamara gaon dikh kar aao."
Madhav said happily.

Pappu smiled and agreed, " Haa toh theek hai, nashta karke chalte hai. "

Geeta quietly asked to Naina,
" Sameer jija ji, Pappu bhaiya ke sath gaon dekhne ja rahe hai... koi naya plan hai kya? "

Naina shrugged, and tries to caught Sameer attention, who was busy in eating.
" Bhukkad, idhar dekho Sameer... pata nahi ab kya chal raha hai tumhare dimag mein...waise toh Pappu ki shaqal bhi dekhna pasand nahi thi aur ab usi ke sath ghumne jana hai. "

Finally, Sameer saw her, looking at him with tensed expressions on her face. He raised his eyebrows, asking what happened.

Naina, signalled him what was he doing? Sameer smiled a little and showed her, his breakfast plate and again starts eating, as answering her question. She narrowed her  eyes at him and was going away, just then she heard Sameer' s voice,

"Taiji, yeh paranthe bohat acche bane aur yeh acharr toh bohat hi badiya hai."

Tai ji smiled and said, " Toh aur khao na beta. Naina, oh Naina... jaa zara Sameer ke kiye aur paranthe le aa. "

Sameer smirked, Naina faked a smile and goes inside the kitchen.
She served him, without looking at him.

" Sameer beta, Naina ko maine hi itne acche paranthe banane sikhaye hai."
Tai ji said, praising herself.

Naina rolled her eyes, at her lie. Sameer smiled at Naina but she looked away and went away.
Standing beside Geeta, she heard her giggle.

"Tujhe kya hua? Hans kyu rahi hai?"
Naina asked.

"Aap dono kitne pyaare ho? Kabhi woh aapko taang karte hai... toh kabhi aap."

Now, Sameer was trying to caught her attention but Naina kept looking at Geeta.
"Lagta hai naraz hogayi...tu bhi na Sameer. Ab kya karu? Naina toh meri taraf dekh bhi nahi rahi hai."

Suddenly, he heard Taiji murmuring,
"O bai, iss Naina ko dekho kaise khi-khi karke hass rahi hai...khair ek baar yaha shaadi ho jayegi phir kha hass payegi."

Sameer glared at her, he looked at Naina and thought,
"Itni sundar muskan hai, Naina ki...mera bss chale toh main yeh muskan uske chehre se kabhi na mitne du."

He continued eating his parantha, when suddenly he asked for more pickle.

"Arre Naina -"
Taiji was going to call Naina but he stopped her.

"Taiji koi baat nahi... yahi maze par toh pada  hai... main khud le lunga."

Naina pouted angrily, " Gussa main hu...aur dekho nakhre yeh dikha raha hai. Naina ko mat bulao... main khud kar lunga. "

Sameer picked the pickle jar and took it to his plate, as he was taking out pickle, suddenly he sneezed and the whole jar of pickle falls down on Taiji's saree.

"Hey bhagwan!!"
Tai ji said shockingly, being in her relatives house... she was wearing her one of the new sarees.

Sameer glances at Naina, and held his ears for a moment. Then, he started saying loudly,
"Sorry, Sorry... Sorry."

Naina bites her lips to stop herself from smiling. Geeta chuckled,
"Jija ji ka andaz sorry bolne ka mast tha. Taiji ko bhi maza chakha diya."

"Sorry Taiji, woh cheenkh aagayi aur aap par achar gir gaya. Aap toh theek hai?"
Sameer said, showing fake concern.

Taiji got up and said controlling her anger,
"Koi baat nahi, beta... ho jaata hai kabhi-kabhi... tum pareshan mat ho."

Sameer was too trying to control his laughter, but slightly nodded.
"Toh main wapis se nashta kar lu."

Tai ji looked at him in disbelief and left from their, murmuring to herself.
"O bai, meri mehngi saare... puri kharab hogayi. Aur iss Sameer ko nashta ki padi hai... agar Prakash bhaisahab ka naati nahi hota toh... toh aache se suna deti."

Naina and Geeta was laughing softly, seeing Sameer's drama.
Then, they both saw him whispering something in Pappu's ear... whatever Sameer said made Pappu smiled in excitement.

Naina, then saw Pappu going and talking to his mother, to which she just nodded.

Geeta, too noticed this and asked, " Yeh kya ho raha hai? "

"Mujhe bhi nahi pata? Yeh Sameer kya kar raha hai?"

Both the girls saw, Lata coming towards them. She came and said,
"Beta, tum bhi jao Pappu aur Sameer ke sath... thoda ghum kar aao. Phir sagai ki rasam ki tayari mein sabne vyast ho jana. Kal sagai hai... aaj sham se hi bohat kam honge. Isliye jao abhi ghum aao thoda."

Naina and Geeta got shocked, both glances at Sameer. He just raised her eyebrows and smirked.

"Arre ab dono khadi kyu ho? Jao tayar ho jao... Chalo."
Lata said and both the girls went inside the room.
