Mon-el POV:
When I got to the DEO I saw Alex panicking "What's wrong" "It's Kara, she's hurt, someone......someone shot her down while she was trying to be the good guy, Mon-el we....we....we don't know if she's gonna make it." Alex said these words and it was like a knife to my heart. "Where is she?" I asked worriedly. Alex replied "In the same room you were when you were hurt." "Can I see her?" I asked trying to stop myself from crying. "Yea...yea you should."
I went into the room and pulled up a chair to the bed, I grabbed Kara's hand and squeezed it tight. I won't let her go I though to myself I can't. After a few moments I drifted off. I woke up around 3 in the morning, I stared at Kara hoping she'd awake. I had started to get up but then I felt a squeeze on my hand. I looked over and Kara laying there wide a wake and I squealed with excitement "Kara your awake!" "Hey Mon-el, what happened?" I explained everything to her, I had asked if she wanted to go to my room in the DEO so she could sleep better she said "Yes, that would be helpful." I tucked her in and started to walk away until I heard her voice "Mon-el, wait can you lay with me?" was this really happening, I asked myself. "Of course Kara!"

Kara POV:
When I woke up I saw Mon-el sitting next to me, he had a hold of my hand he almost got up before I squeezed his hand to let him know I was up he looked back and squealed "Kara your awake" I had to stop myself from laughing because I knew he was being serious at the moment, god why is he so cute? Mon-el took me into his DEO room and tucked me in he was about to leave but I stopped him. "Mon-el wait can you lay with me?" I had to ask. "Of course Kara." After about 30 minutes I fell asleep with Mon-el's arms around me. When I woke up again I was careful but quick with unraping Mon-el's arms that were around me so I could use the bathroom. I heard a voice yell "OH MY GOD WHERE'S KARA!" I knew Mon-el and I were in trouble because it was ALEX. I heard Mon-el say "I don't know she was with me but..." Alex cut him off "SHE WOKE UP AND YOU DIDN'T CALL ME!" That's when I decided to run out and into Alex's arms. "Alex!" "Kara, your okay" "Yea I'm okay, I woke up at 3 and Mon-el was beside me!"

Alex POV:
It was 8 o'clock and I had to get to work. When I got there I went to go to check on Kara like any good big sister would, when I saw she wasn't there I panicked Mon-el came out of his room and told me what happened and he said she was with him that night I asked why he didn't call me when she woke up. He didn't answer cause Kara came running outta the bathroom. "It was three in the morning it was late nobody thought to" she answered for him. I sighed "We will talk later Kara but right now I want you resting." "But Alex I need to..." "Don't continue that sentence, Kara that is an order." I say cutting her off.

Mon-el POV:
I took Kara home so she could rest. I stayed at her apartment and made her something to eat later before she woke up. "Hello beautiful!" I exclamed. "Hello handsome" she replied back. "You didn't have to make me anything" "I know but I wanted to"

2 weeks later:

Kara POV:
   I was feeling much better after a few days. Mon-el and I were on the couch cuddled up watching listen to your heart I cried while Mon-el comforted me. "It's okay Kara don't cry Kara"

Mon-el POV:
   I was glad to see Kara feeling better well health wise. We were watching a movie and she started to cry I told her it was okay and not to cry. I hated to see her like this, at least it was because of a movie and not a person. If someone hurt my Kara, they would regret it. In the middle of the movie Kara got a call from Alex. There was trouble and I knew it I used my superspeed to get my suit on, after Kara got off the phone she got her suit on.  We left to the armed robbery and it's like they knew I am allergic to led.

Kara POV:
   When I heard Mon-el scream I stopped what I was doing and rushed over to him, told Alex to get a medical team ready, and picked him up and left to the DEO. Alex was right by the door, I was crying "Kara what's wrong, what happened out there" "They had led, Mon-el is allergic to it" as they got him into the medical room Alex and I talked...well she talked I cried. "Kara, it's gonna be..." before she could finish her sentence Winn came in and said Mon-el wanted to see me.
