Alex POV:
   Christmas was only 2 weeks away, I'm really hoping Kara is gonna be okay because Mon-el is still in recovery. I'm going to check on her and make sure she's alright later she has been off, and blaming herself thinking she could have prevented what happened, I mean there is no way she could have.

Kara POV:
   Today is going really slowly I've got literally nothing to write about, no stories have crossed my desk, so I decided to go to the DEO and check on Mon-el. "Hey Mon-el." "Hey beautiful." he replied. "How are you doing?" "Not too bad." "Ready for Christmas, in a few weeks?" "What's the Christmas?" I giggled because that was what I said when I heard about Christmas. "It's a day we celebrate, because a baby was born a long long time ago, and you give gifts to people!" I exclamed! He lit up at the word gifts, this made me giggle more.

5 days later:

Mon-el POV:
   I am excited for today, Kara doesn't know I'm out of recovery or whatever they call it, so I decided to go see her at work. I went into her office door and knocked. "Come in." I hear her light voice say. I come in with my face down she doesn't recognize me because I didn't have normal clothing on. She stood up alarmed, "Don't panic Kara." I say lifting my head up. "MON-EL, YOUR OUT OF RECOVERY!" she said screaming happily. "Yeah, I am, come..." I couldn't even finish my sentance, and her lips were on mine. "Wanna go get lunch?" "Would I ever!" I exclaimed. We got something to eat then I walked her back to work. "I'm gonna go back to the DEO and see what they need help with there." "Okay see you later I love you!" "I love you too!"

Kara POV:
   I was at work in my office waiting to go to lunch while working on a story, when all of a sudden I heard a knock on my office door "Come in." I say as a stranger comes in. I stood up alarmed as the very fimillar voice came from the stranger, turns out it wasn't a stranger it was Mon-el "Don't panic Kara" I screamed "MON-EL YOUR OUT OF RECOVERY!" I ran over and kissed him. "Do u want to go get lunch?" "Would I ever!" he said with excitement. After we got lunch he walked me back to work and went back to the DEO. God I love him, I'm so glad he's okay.

Christmas Eve

Kara POV:
   It was Christmas eve and Mon-el came over to help decorate. "Are you excited for your 1st Christmas?" "Yea it should be fun." Alex knocked on the door "Come in." I hollered across the room. "No need to yell." she said as she came in with Maggie. "Hey Maggie." "Hi Kara." "Hi Alex." "Hello." "Mon el, suggested we watch a movie while we wait for dinner." I say with a joyful smile."That's a great idea." Maggie replied. Dinner came in the middle of the first movie.

9 hours later:

Geez I guess I didn't realize how late it was we watched the entire Lord of the Rings series.....yea I'm never doing that again, lets just say it is 2 AM.

Mon-el POV:
   That was a very interesting series. I had fun though with Kara in my arms, Alex kinda looked at us but I didn't care. I was happy I got to watch an enitre movie series with Kara and it was fun! By the time we finished it was 2 AM "We should probably be going to bed." Kara suggests "Yea Kara's right, we all need rest." We went to bed and I woke up at 8 to make breakfast for everyone. When I hear a knock at the door I went to answer it and it was her cousin Clark. "Merry Christmas!" I say welcoming him in, "Merry Christmas!" he replies with a friendly smile. "I was just making breakfast want to help?" "Sure." It takes about 15 minutes to make everyone breakfast. After it was made I woke Kara up with a kiss, Clark got Alex and Maggie up by shaking their shoulder slightly. "We made breakfast for you guys!" I say bringing Kara and Alex a plate. I went back to get a plat for maggie, Clark, and myself. "Thank you Mon el, and Clark." Kara, Maggie, and Alex say in unison. "Welcome." Clark and I say together. "Hey, Clark where is Lois?" Kara asks. "She wanted to see her famiy for Christmas this year and I couldn't give up the opportunity to come here." It was a good day so far, a few hours has passed it was almost time for dinner, by now Winn, Eliza, and James were all here. After dinner everyone except Clark and I had left. Clark's phone goes off, it's Lois Ik this because he says so as he answers the phone. "Kara I've gotta go." he says in a rush. "Okay Clark call me later." "Okay I will bye cuz love you." "Love you too." Well today was one heck of a day, I thought to myself. I help Kara clean up, then we go to the couch to watch The Longest Ride we both fall asleep in the middle of it.
