"Hey" I whisper as I enter the game room.

"Nope" Adrian says crossing his arms.

"Come on Adrian. Dad didn't burn your house down. You know he wouldn't do that" I sit next to him, on the huge brown couch.

"He could have! Don't you know how your dad is? And we didn't even get to spend two weeks there" he sighs

"You're upset that you couldn't spend time with Serena, and now that she's grounded, you can't go to see her" I say

His cheeks turn slightly red, as my phone pings, telling me I have a message.

I pull it out of my pocket, to see its an unknown number.

I click on the message and look at it confused.

Okay?

"Do you know who's number it is?" I show the text to Adrian.

He shakes his head confused.

"Gabe? Unless you have a secret admirer" he says

I look back at my phone.

'Gabe? Is that you?' I text him quickly

'Morning kitten' he replies

Okay?

'How did you get my number?' I text

'Serena' he replies

"Serena? This guy has Serena's number? Even I don't have that" Adrian says

I stand up as he calls me.

I answer the phone, while walking out of the room.

"Mama!" I hear Ashton's crying voice.

"Can you like talk to him? He's crying" I hear Gabe's voice.

"What should I say?" I ask as I walk into the living room.

"Anything" he replies and I nod

"Ashton..I love you" I hear Ashton become quiet.

I guess the phone is on speaker.

"Mama!" He says

I smile.

"Hey Ashton. How are you? Are you crying?" I ask as I fall down onto the couch.

"Mama!" I hear him clap his hands, giggling slightly.

"That's like a good boy. You can't cry okay?" I say and he giggles at my voice

"Mama!"

I smile, as his voice faints away.

"Hello?" I mumble into the phone.

"Hey kitten" Gabe whispers

"Oh. Hi." I whisper back.

His voice makes me calm.

Ever since I came to Carrington, I've been grounded.
I met Serena and Adrian in the airport. She said that the others stayed there.

We came home, and dad grounded us all. Auntie Kara and uncle Dimitri were there as well.
We all walked in through the door, and uncle Dimitri took Serena home without no word.

Dad said, Adrian is also grounded. To Adrian, dad is like a father to him.
A child listens to their parent, no matter how old they get. It's the same with Adrian and I. We still listen to my dad, because we know if we don't, he'll take something important away from us.

"I miss you" he says

"Oh. It's not like you're going to come here? Right? I miss Ashton" I reply

He chuckles.

"I would have come, but I have a few important meetings. And you miss Ashton, and not me?" He asks

"I don't know" he chuckles

"I have to go. I love you kitten" I hang up quickly.

Now let's go back to my house, to ask dad if I can meet Serena. We have a lot of talking to do.

"Please dad? I've been asking for hours? I even waited for you to come back from work. And I even made you food. Well mom made it, but still?" I pout at him.

"My answer is final Caitlin. You can't go. Where's Gia?" He asks just as mom enters the room.

"Seth, let her go. She's only going to Kara's house. You know Dimitri won't let her out of the house, so she's still grounded" mom walks towards him.

He wraps an arm around mom, sighing.

"Fine. I'll cal-" the doorbell rings.

"I'll check" mom walk out of the room, and towards the door.

I hear her gasp.

Dad walks out of the room with me behind him.

I stand on my tip toes to see Ashton?

I walk around mom and dad, to stand in front of Gabe.

"Hey kitten" he smiles

"What are you doing here?" I ask, surprised.

"Mama!" Ashton claps his hands, placing his hands out for me to pick him up.

I walk closer, and pick him up.

"Mama!" He kisses my cheek.

I smile.

"Mama? What the fuck? When was this?" Dad asks behind me.

"How?"I look at Gabe.

"You said it, and I came. I bought a hotel in this area, so I came to see you" he smiles

"Oh" I mumble

"Oh" dad closes the door on his face.

"Dad!" I turn towards him

"Explanation time. You invited him over?" He asks

"Excuse me sir. My son's in the house" Gabe knocks on the door.

I smile, as dad rolls his eyes.

"And mama? What the hell? You tell me now, Caitlin. I told you Gia, if I had kept her away from this boy, none of this would have happened" dad turns to mom.

"Seth, you're just getting angry for now reason. You need to calm down. She's 23 years old, Seth. She's not a little baby, and I trust Caitlin. She would have told us if she had a son" mom look at me.

I smile, and nod.

"Dad Ashton isn't mine. He's Gabe's son." Dad frowns

"So you still want to be with him?" Dad asks

"I was with you, even thought you had Caitlin" mom smirks at him

"That's different" dad mumbles

"This is different as well, Seth." Mom says

"Fine. If he doesn't get married to you, then I kill him. If he wants to marry you, then that's the right guy. Not some asshole, who's only looking for sex" I close my eyes

"Dad, let's not make this anymore awkward than it is." I sigh

Dad chuckles, and walks upstairs.

"He's not really your son right? Do you love Gabriel?" Mom asks

"Ashton is Gabe's friends son. She's dead now. I think so" I blush slightly

Mom smiles and walks upstairs.

I turn around and open the door for Gabe.

He smiles at me.

"Can I come in?" I nod, moving to the side, and he walks inside.

I close the door and turn to him.

"Ashton wanted to come" I nod

Ashton wanted to come. The child, who can't talk yet? Makes perfect sense.

"Ashton wanted to see me? Did he whisper it in your ear?" I smirk and he blushes slightly

"I wanted to see you" he whispers

"Mama!" Ashton claps his hands at me.

"He's a very happy child" I look at him.

He giggles at me.

I walk around him and place Ashton on the couch.

I stand up and turn to Gabe.

He's down on one knee, smiling at me.

"Caitlin Parker. The most beautiful person on this planet. I know I keep on giving you more rings, but you mean more to me than anything. I want to give you the world. I know kitten, that for 18 years we've been apart, but everyday I thought about you. Everyday I missed you. I want to grow up and I want people to know that I married my childhood sweetheart. I want the world to know you're mine. I want my life to be with you, next to me. I want everything with you, besides me. Will you marry me, Caitlin?" He stands up,stepping closer to me.

"Why are you crying? I told you kitten, pretty girls don't cry" he whispers, wiping my eyes.

I nod and he smiles.

He lifts my hand up.

He takes the other ring off, and places it on my right ring finger.

He places the new one on my left ring finger, and kisses my knuckles, smiling down at me.

I blush slightly, as I hear someone gasp.

I turn my head, to see mom smiling brightly at us.

My blush deepens, as Gabe, wraps his arms around me.

"Seth! Get the camera! Caitlin's getting married!" Mom shouts

"What!" I hear dad's voice from upstairs.

I roll my eyes, as dad walks into the room.

"What is this about?" Dad looks at us.

Gabe holds my hand tightly.

"Your daughter has agreed to marry me" Gabe smiles at me

"Caitlin? Is this true?" He asks and I nod

"Yep" he sighs

"If you're happy then fine. But if you break her heart, I swear to god, Gabriel Blake,I will shoot you. Then I will chop your body up and thro-" mom pulls him out of the room

"Does he have a licence for a gun?" He look at me.

I laugh at him, and he smiles

"I love you kitten" he whispers

"I love you too Gabe" he smiles placing his hand on my cheek.

"Forever and forever?" I blush slightly

"Forever and forever" he leans down and places his lips on mine.

I smile, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Dada!" Ashton claps his hands.
