"Happy birthday too you!" Everyone sings.

I help her cut a cake slice, and she puts it in my mouth.

"Daddy you got it on your face" she giggles

I pick up another piece, and put it on her face.

"Daddy!" She exclaims

"Oops. Sorry." I say and she laughs

"It's okay daddy" she smiles taking another piece and giving it to Gia.

Caitlin wanted a party. I gave her a party 

She invited all her school friends, including Gabe. Everyone came with their mom, except Gabe. His dad dropped him off and went.

Caitlin walks towards Gabe and makes him eat the cake.

He takes the cake off her, and makes her eat it.

"Happy birthday kitten" he smiles at her.

Kitten? Hey. She has a name.

"Thank you Gabe" she kisses his cheek. He blushes.

"Okay that's more than enough. Presents" I walk toward Caitlin. She holds Gabe's hand, and walks to the huge pile of presents.

"Open mine first" Kara says handing her a present.

She sits down on the couch with Gabe next to her. She rips the paper, and Gabe throws it on the floor.

"Thank you auntie Kara" Caitlin smiles at the dress.

She goes through all her friends presents, saying thank you to everyone.

She goes through all the guys presents as well, Kara saying that she helped them with it.

"I wasn't going to give you a present, because you broke up with me,  but I thought why not" Ryan hands her a wrapped box.

"I'm sorry Ryan. I love Gabe" she says and Gabe kisses her cheek.

"I love you too. More than your daddy" I frown

"Hey mister. You're in my house." I look at him.

"Mr daddy, I'm sorry" he apologises.

Kara awes.

"Gabe, you no say sorry. You only love me" Caitlin hugs him.

He hugs her back.

I think my head's going to explode.

"Look how cute they are" Gia whispers to me, as she stands next to me.

I thought she wasn't going to come to me.

I smile, moving closer to her. I feel her hand closer to mine, and I entwine our fingers together.

"Can you just open my present?" Ryan says

She nods opening it. She rips the paper off and opens the box. She screams, at the fake spiders. Gabe quickly kicks them away.

He seriously needs to stay away from her.

"Ryan I hate you!" She cries.

"What the fuck Ryan?" I glare at him.

I walk towards Caitlin and pick her up.

"Are you okay princess?" I ask, as she wipes her face.

"She broke up with me! She wanted to hammer my heart. She's a psycho!" Ryan exclaims.

"You okay kitten?" Gabe looks up at her, while she's in my arms.

"Yeah. Daddy I no like Ryan anymore. I'm happy I didn't get married to him" she pushes her hair back.

I place her on the couch, and Gabe quickly looks at her, wiping her eyes.

"No crying kitten. You no crying. You're very pretty. Pretty girls don't cry" he says

This kid needs to go home.

"Angel!" Caitlin looks behind me.

"Gabe look, this is my Angel." She climbs off the couch, and grabs Gabe's hand, and runs to Gia.

"You know she's scared of spiders." I glare at Ryan.

"Hey. I was getting ready for our wedding, I even planned the catering, but she broke it off with me. Evil girl I tell you" he shakes his head

I look at him confused.

"You do know you're her uncle? And that she's a kid? And she's too beautiful for you?" I ask

"And I'm gay. Coming on Seth. It's a joke. I'm going to go and get her real present now" he turns around, but I grab his shoulder stopping him.

"If it's spiders, or some stupid joke, I'll kill you" he shakes his head

"And here I thought you loved me" he walks out of the room.

"Some of the kids are planning to go home." Kara says and I nod

"I'm going to go and get Caitlin's present from my room." She nods as I walk out of the room.

I wish she likes this. I mean, I couldn't get a her a mom.

I walk up to my room, and pick up the heavy box.

I walk out of the room, and downstairs to see everyone already gone. Gabe's still sat on the couch talking to Caitlin.

"Princess" I call out and she looks at me, as I place the box in front of her.

"Daddy is this for me?" I nod as she pulls the lid off.

"Oh my god. Daddy it's so small like me" she gasps as the dog jumps up. He barks a little, as I get him out and place him on the ground.

"Daddy can I keep him?" She asks hugging him.

"Yep. He's all yours" she smiles all me.

"I love him. Thank you daddy" she plays with him.

Someone pulls on my jeans. I look down to see Gabe.

"Can you take me home please?" He whispers

"Sure. Kara? Does anyone know where he lives?" I ask

"Yeah. His dad left this with him" she hands me a a piece of paper.

I look at the address, and groan. Really?

He lives in the same neighbourhood as us? Well my new house.

I bend down and pick him up.

"Are you going to say bye?" I ask

He shakes his head staring at Caitlin. She's playing with the dog.

"No." He whispers

I nod and walk out of the house. I walk towards the car, and open it too see a Sephora back inside.

Oh fuck. I left that.

"You wait here. I forgot to give it too Caitlin." I place him on the ground.

"Mr daddy? Can I give her it? I didn't bring any present. My mommy and daddy say no, so can I give her it. She'll love me more than the dog" he looks up at me.

Oh. This kid.

"Okay." I hand him the bag. We walk back inside, and I see Caitlin sat on the couch, as the dog runs around.

"Gabe!" She jumps up and runs towards him.

"You left and you didn't say bye to me." She says

That's it. We're going to move house. We're going to move countries.

"I got you this" he hands her the bag

She opens it and gasps.

"You got me lipstick!" She pulls them out.

"Lipstick? Yeah" he nods as she hugs him tightly.

"You bought me 5 lipstick. I'm 5 too. Thank you Gabe" she kisses his cheek.

I bought them.

"It's okay kitten. I have to go home now. I love you" he smiles at her.

"I love you too" he smiles leaning closer to her ear.

"You love me more than dog?" He whispers and she nods

"I love you more than dog"  he kisses her cheek and turns to me.

"Let's go Mr daddy" he says

He holds my hand, and I wave at Caitlin, and walk out of the house. He sits in the car and I close the door for him.

I sit in my seat and start driving.

He pulls some money out of his pocket.

"My mommy and daddy said I can't buy kitten a present. So I broke my piggy bank, to give her money, but you can have it now, for the lip thing" he says

"No keep it. It's cool" I say and he shakes his head

"I no like taking things for free." He says

"Okay look. Keep the money just promise me to make sure you protect Caitlin in school. Okay?" He nods putting the money back in his pocket.

"I buy chocolate for kitten" he whispers to himself.

"Why do you call her kitten?" I frown at him.

He grins.

"She small, and she can't fight boys. She can fight girls, but no boys. She say I fight boys for her and she fight girls for me. Oh and we play in school. I be lion and she be kitten. I protect her from hyenas" I park outside his house.

I nod as he gets out of the car. I follow him,and walk towards the door with him.

"You no telling kitten, about my mommy hurt" he whispers

I frown at him, as the door opens.

An older lady smiles at us.

She doesn't look like his mom.

"Hi. I came to drop Gabe off." She nods

"Thank you." She takes Gabe inside, and closes the door.

Okay. I'll tell Noah about this. There might be something wrong here.

I walk back to my car and sit inside. I drive back home and park outside.

I walk inside the car, not hearing any sound.

I walk to the living room to see everyone sat around.

"What's wrong?" I ask

The dog isn't here.

Caitlin smiles at me.

"Daddy can I ask something?" She asks quietly.

I bend down on my knees in front of her, and nod.

"Of course princess" I say

"Is my mommy coming today?" She whispers, smiling at me.

I frown. I thought she'll forget if I gave her the dog.

"Pr-" Gia shakes her head, and walks closer to us. She bends down in front of Caitlin.

"Caitlin, I never got you a present" she says and Caitlin nods.

"It's okay Angel" she smiles

"Do you want a mommy?" She asks and Caitlin nods.

"Shall I be your mommy?" Caitlin grins, as Gia tilts her head to the side slowly.

Kara smiles, as everyone gasps.

Yes. We get dramatic.

Kara knew about this. And she didn't tell me.

"You want to be my mommy always?" Caitlin asks

"If you want me to be" Caitlin nods hugging Gia.

"I want you to be my mommy" she says as Gia laughs.

"I'll be your mommy okay? Are you happy?" Caitlin nods.

"Can I call you mommy now? No Angel" she nods.

"I love you mommy" Caitlin hugs her.

"I love you too." She stands up after a couple of minutes.

Her phone rings, and she pulls it out of her pocket.

"It's Adam. I have to go home." She mumbles

"Mommy, you have to stay with me and daddy now" Caitlin frowns at her.

I have no idea what to say.

"Caitlin I'll come back. I have to tell Adam right? So I can come back then. I'll come back" she says

She kisses her forehead, and walks out of the room, while grabbing her jacket.

"What happened?" Dimitri mumbles.

"I have no idea" I sit down on the floor.

"Thank you daddy! Thank you for giving me a mommy" Caitlin jumps on me, hugging me tightly.

"No problem" I whisper.

Gia will live with me.
I have to decorate the new house.

Okay I know I haven't really updated this book for three days, and I just don't really know why?!

What I do want to say is thank you so much for making this  #57 in short story! God I didn't even know it would be in the rankings. So thank you so much!

I have been so busy with updating Sapphire's choice, and trying to push myself to edit Chase Me Alpha for publishing( yes it's still getting published. 2017/2018. I'll definitely let you know before anyone!)

So now that I have  Fi is he'd writing all the chapters for Sapphire's choice, I can work on the 5th book in this series, called Ashton! That will be my final book.

So expect a lot more updates from me, since I want to finish all my books before January.

Angel became her mommy! How happy is Caitlin!
