The Peace And Quiet Never Stays

The American dorms sat silent, the early morning hours still staking their claim to the world. The sky was still dark, the sun no where in sight, as the world went about its business. There wasn't a single awoken soul anywhere on base.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Or so there hadn't been before.

Arizona groaned, rubbing her eyes for a moment, before she stared up at the dark ceiling, laying there a few moments. After a moment, Arizona reached over to put a stop to the alarm, the time of 3:00 AM bleering back at her, causing her to squint at the light for a few moments.

After a few moments of silence, Arizona gave another yawn as she sat up in bed, stretching her arms for a moment. After she had done so, she reached over and turned on the lamp that sat on night stand, giving sight to her two roommates, Oklahoma and Indiana.

Standing, Arizona walked over to Oklahoma, the Nevada class girl still being fast asleep. Giving another yawn, Arizona reached down as she began to shake the girl awake, giving a few rough shoves. After a moment, Oklahoma's eyes began to slowly open, eventually staring up at the battleship.

"Arizona....?" Oklahoma asked drearily, her eyes threatening to close once again. Arizona in turn gave the girl another shove, this in turn rolling Oklahoma off of the bed and onto the floor on the opposite side. This in turn caused Oklahoma to get up in a flurry, glaring daggers at the Pennsylvania class girl. "May I ask why in the hell you did that!?" She yelled. Arizona only laughed as she looked at the girl.

"It looked like you were about to fall asleep again." Arizona said. Oklahoma only glared at her further, eliciting more laughter from Arizona as a result.

"For your information, I was not about to fall asleep again!" Oklahoma huffed as she crossed her arms. "I was only going to rest my eyes." She said, staring Arizona down as she did so.

"Oh, I'm sure." Arizona nodded. "And that means that you'd just be snoring for effect then as well, right?" Arizona asked, quite amused despite being exhausted. Oklahoma only glared at the battleship.

"I do not snore!" Oklahoma yelled. Arizona just laughed in response, her next reply already ready to go. But instead, a groan filled the air as Indiana stirred from her slumber, flipping over on her side as she glared at the two from her bed, her head resting lazily on her pillow.

"I'm not usually one for violence. But, I swear, there's about to be two battleship sized holes in the wall if you two don't zip it. Some of us get to keep sleeping for a few more hours!" Indiana seethed, staring up at the two from her pillow. Arizona only laughed in response, Oklahoma sighing instead.

"Sorry Indy. Try and bear with it while we get dressed." Oklahoma said. Arizona nodded, scratching at her bare stomach as she did so.

"I'll get the destroyers up and moving. You want to get Mary and Chicago?" Arizona asked. Oklahoma nodded as she walked to the bedroom door, opening it quietly. In doing so, more light filled the room from the hallway, eliciting another groan from Indiana.

"Is that really necessary?" The South Dakota class groaned as she tucked her head under her pillow, trying to stop the influx of light to her eyes. Oklahoma and Arizona only rolled their eyes as Oklahoma went next door to the room of two battleships and one heavy cruiser. Arizona, being considerate for the moment, gently closed the door, trying not to anger the battleship any further.

After she had done so, she turned her attention to down the hall, in particular the room that played home to the six Gleaves class destroyers. Not caring if she woke them or not, she opened the door with one quick motion. She stepped into their room with all the grace of a stampeding elephant, adding a few good stomps in for good measure.

"GET UP RUNTS!" Arizona bellowed, cupping her hands around her mouth as well. That, combined with the confines of the room only added to the decibels being produced by the Battleship. She received quick results as Bristol practically shot up, still more than half asleep.

"Hmm a whats gowing on...." Bristol mumbled sleepily, wiping at her eyes as she tried to clear them of sleep. Arizona only chuckled as she sat on the foot of the bed, looking at the destroyer.

"It's time to get up Bristol. You, your sisters. Time to get up. We've got a big job today. We're heading to Pearl." Arizona said in a soft voice, clasping her hand over the destroyer's as they sat on the bed. Bristol nodded as she wiped her eyes further, still trying to wake up.

"Just five more minutes...." Bristol mumbled, attempting to lay back down. Arizona gave a nod.

"Fine. But, if you do not get up in five minutes when I come to get you, I'm throwing ice water on you and your sisters. So, you promise me you'll get up in five minutes." Arizona replied. Bristol nodded sleepily.

"I prawmise." Bristol said sleepily, flopping back down on to her bed, doing nothing as Ellyson snuggled back up to her older sister. Arizona only shook her head in amusement before getting up from the bed. But, just to encourage the girl not to fall asleep fully again, the battleship turned on the lamp on the bedside table. Secondly, she had no intention of closing the door, letting the light from the hallway seep into the room, letting the light wake the destroyers.

But as she was about to walk into the hallway, she just about collided with a mumbling Maryland, the battleship not looking happy as she headed to the bathrooms at the end of the hall.

"Maryland?" Arizona asked, but found herself ignored as Maryland kept walking, giving a loud yawn as she did so. Arching a brow, Arizona looked in the opposite direction, where she found Oklahoma and Chicago talking outside of the room. Walking over, she was intent on finding out what had Maryland so upset.

"What'd you say to Maryland?" Arizona asked. Oklahoma rolled her eyes as she looked at her fellow battleship.

"Nothing. When I walked in to wake her up, she was mumbling something in her sleep. And when she finally woke up, she took a look at me and got all pissy." Oklahoma explained. Arizona arched a brow as Chicago gave a wave.

"Don't give it too much thought. She was probably having another one of those dreams she's so fond of." Chicago said. The two battleships looked at her in confusion, eliciting a small nod from the heavy cruiser.

"She talks in her sleep a lot. But, she seems to have a certain dream that keeps coming back to her. And whenever she wakes up, she's really giddy about it. But she hasn't told Mississippi or myself a thing about what transpires in these dreams." Chicago explained. The two battleships only nodded in reply.

"Well, what does she say in her sleep?" Oklahoma asked. Chicago shrugged.

"Bunch of thrown together mumbo jumbo. Although, every once and a while, she'll utter the word Admiral." The heavy cruiser stated. Arizona put her hands up in surrender at that.

"And suddenly, I'm not interested anymore." Arizona said, giving a shake of the head. Chicago gave a light laugh as Oklahoma turned to Arizona.

"So? Who else still needs to be awoken? The destroyers I assume?" She asked. Arizona gave a nod.

"I'm giving them five more minutes. Besides them, we still need the Atlanta sisters, the Midway sisters, and Cabot. Isn't that right?" She asked. The nodded, Chicago pointing down the hall.

"I'll get Cabot. My recommendation is rousing Atlanta and her sisters, and let them handle the destroyers." The Heavy cruiser offered. The two battleships nodded as Oklahoma looked to Arizona.

"Then I'll take care of the triplets." Oklahoma said, starting to walk down the hall towards the Midway's door. Arizona sighed as she did so, watching the battleship go.

"They're not triplets! Triplets are born on the same day!" Arizona insisted. Oklahoma stopped walking down the hall at that, only to look back to Arizona in a questioning manner.

"So, then would you prefer freaky doppelgängers that go three ways?" She asked, crossing her arms. Arizona thought about it a moment, before giving a sigh.

"Triplets is fine." She eventually answered. Oklahoma only smirked before walking further down the hall.

"Thought so." She said as she went. Arizona only rolled her eyes as she turned around, focusing her attention on the Atlanta's door.

Not bothering with pleasantries such as knocking, Arizona just walked right into the room, opening the door wide. Waiting a moment, the battleship walked to the foot of the rightmost bed, this belonging to the oldest of the three.

"Atlanta. Get up. Time to get things moving. You and your sisters need to get up." Arizona said. Atlanta only got more comfortable, the light cruiser not rousing from the deep sleep she found herself in. Arizona sighed as she nudged the light cruiser.

"Atlanta, you need to get up." Arizona repeated. To this, Atlanta didn't respond. Instead, she only kept sleeping. Rolling her eyes, Arizona fell back to drastic measures, this being the following move.

Without hesitating, Arizona reached down the bottom of the mattress. Getting a solid grip on the object, Arizona lifted up one side of it, rolling Atlanta off without a problem. The battleship only laughed as the light cruiser made contact with the floor, a thud filling the air. Arizona only gave another laugh in response as Atlanta shot up off the floor, looking livid as she looked wildly around the room, trying to find a suspect. When she found Arizona's silhouette against the light of the hallway, Atlanta glared at the battleship.

"What gives!?" Atlanta seethed. Arizona only smiled in response.

"Time to get up. We're launching in an hour." Arizona said. Atlanta rolled her eyes, giving a nod as she crossed her arms.

"Yeah! I know! But we already had an alarm set! We didn't need you getting us up!" Atlanta insisted. Arizona arched a brow at this, staring the light cruiser down.

"How so? Your alarm isn't going off." She replied. Atlanta nodded.

"Yeah, I know. But our alarm isn't electronic." She said. Arizona looked at her for a moment before speaking.

"Then, what might your alarm be?" The battleship asked, watching the cruiser in the dark of the room. Before Atlanta could respond however, the sound of running footsteps approached the bedroom door. When the light suddenly flipped on, Arizona turned to face the door. And found herself slightly surprised.

"Akatsuki?" Arizona asked, more than puzzled enough for her well being. Destroyer in question, wide awake and prepared for the day ahead, only smiled as she gazed up at the battleship.

"Hai Arizona-San!" Akatsuki replied. But as she did so, her sisters came in as well, each holding their own cup of coffee. Arizona thought this strange until Hibiki approached Atlanta, offering the light cruiser the closely guarded beverage. Atlanta smiled, giving the silver haired destroyer a pat on the head as she took the beverage from the girl. As Atlanta took a sip, Arizona turned to look at Juneau and San Diego.

And to the battleship's further surprise, Juneau and San Diego were awake and sitting up, taking the cups of coffee from the two destroyers, having apparently been awoken by just the smell alone. In return, Inazuma and Ikazuchi received head pats of their own, something the two destroyers seemed to take great pride in the simple fact of it if their beaming smiles were anything to go by.

Staring in slight confusion, Arizona wheeled back around to look at Atlanta, her expression silently demanding an expression. Atlanta gave a nod as she took a sip of the black nectar of life.

"Well, I was talking to Tenryuu and Tatsuta last night at dinner, discussing this whole thing with them. The sortie, the questions about our actual objectives during it. All of it. But, we eventually landed on the subject of getting up this early. And we kind of came up with a plan of sorts." Atlanta said. Arizona nodded.

"And that was for them to come and wake you?" She asked. Atlanta shrugged.

"Yeah, in a sense. Look, whenever Nagato is involved, anyone part of the fleet deploying is awoken by her. Her rules. Look, these girls have been awake for at least half an hour. As have everyone else on their side of things. Yamato. Musashi. Mutsu. Shokaku. Ryuujou. Yuubari. They're all awake and ready to go now." Atlanta said. Arizona nodded.

"Ok. And Tenryuu and Tatsuta...?" She asked. Atlanta jerked a thumb at the wall.

"Getting Bristol and her sisters out of bed and dressed." Atlanta said. Arizona nodded in acceptance.

"Alright. I can agree that it's helpful." Arizona said, putting her hands on her overwhelmingly underdressed hips. Currently, the only thing Arizona knew as clothing was a black T-shirt coupled with a pair of black panties. Hardly even clothes, the outfit did a decent job at containing and keeping the battleship's dignity. Arizona ran a hand through her strawberry blonde locks before nodding again. But, as she did so, a nervous giggle sounded out of three of the destroyers. Cocking a brow, Arizona looked down at Akatsuki.

"What was that for?" Arizona asked, looking down at the girl. Akatsuki only gave another giggle as she looked up at Arizona.

"Well, you see, Arizona-San, we were offered help to come wake you girls. And a real lady never rejects a sound offer!" She insisted, despite the nervous giggles that made their way out of the destroyer. Before Arizona could inquire further, the very foundation of the building itself began to shake as a voice made itself known.

"RISE AND SHINE, DESU!" Came the first statement. Arizona sighed as she looked to Atlanta,

"Hey, don't look at me. I only agreed to Tenryuu, Tatsuta, and the girls. Your girlfriend and her crazy sisters are your problem." Atlanta replied, eliciting giggles from the Akatsuki sisters. Her own sisters couldn't help but chuckle as Arizona glared at the cruiser for a moment before promptly heading out of the room.

As she did so, another voice echoed through the halls, making Arizona now doubt that anyone in this building still slept.

"LISTEN TO KONGOU-ONEESAMA!" Came the second response. That was followed by a quest sigh as Arizona stepped fully into the hall, finding the four sisters still near the front door. Giving a sigh, Arizona began to walk towards them. As she did so, Haruna spotted her first, and immediately hid her face in her hands as a blush broke out, turning her face a very deep red at the sight of Arizona's pajamas.

Kongou and Hiei however paid it no such mind, planting their hands firmly on their hips as they grinned at the approaching dreadnaught.

"GOODMORNING ARIZONA-SAN, DESU! HOW ARE YOU IN THESE EARLY HOURS!?" Kongou yelled, apparently having no concept of an inside voice. Hiei, fixing to follow up on that, never got the chance as Arizona reached the two, quickly and quietly clamping her hands over the two's mouths. Taking a moment, looking down at the two shorter battleships, Arizona sighed. Looking over to Haruna and Kirishima a moment, she turned her attention back to the two oldest Kongou sisters.

"You have to be quiet!" Arizona hissed, staring Kongou and Hiei down. The two battleships only giggled under her grasp, practically bouncing with excitement as Arizona stood there. But as she did so, movement within her bedroom sounded through the walls. And whoever it was, they sounded angry. "God damn it...." Arizona sighed as she looked to her door.

She was greeted with the sight of Indiana coming out of their room, a towel slung over head shoulder as the towering battleship stepped into the hallway. Giving a yawn for a moment, she glared down at the Kongou sisters for a moment before then looking to Arizona, her glare not fading.

"Guess I'll start my day now then." Indiana growled before walking by them, heading to the bathrooms at the end of the hall as well much like Maryland had before.

"How strange. Indiana-San is usually so polite..." Kirishima mused. Arizona only nodded in turn as she looked at Kongou and Hiei.

"When I take my hands off of your mouths, you will switch to inside voices. And if you don't, I will knock the both of you out without hesitation. There are girls still trying to get some sleep so we are not going to wake them." Arizona said, looking to Kongou first. After a moment, she then looked to Hiei. "Do we have an understanding?" She asked finally.

Kongou and Hiei gave slow nods, looking back at Arizona. After a moment, Arizona nodded, taking her hands off of the sister's mouths. Nodding, Arizona took a step back from the two battleships, who in turn looked just as excited as they did before Arizona walked up to them. But, there was a question on the battleship's mind and she was going to get an answer.

"Ok, first things first. I can understand you all coming here to help get us up, but why all four of you? Only Kongou and Haruna are on Fourth Fleet. Hiei and Kirishima, you two don't need to be here. Your sortie is launching later in the day." Arizona reasoned. Kongou nodded excitedly as Hiei put her hands on her hips, giving a nod as well.

"YES! BUT WHERE KONGOU-ONEESAMA GOES, WE GO!" Hiei yelled, her grin nearly blinding. But Arizona slapped her hand over the battleship's mouth, shushing the battleship.

"Inside voice." Arizona stressed. Hiei only laughed, it being muffled by Arizona's hand. After a moment, Arizona removed her grasp on the battleship, the Pennsylvania class girl glaring at the second of the Kongous.

"Inside voice." Arizona repeated. Hiei only nodded in reply, her grin still present. Sighing, face palming for a moment, Arizona eventually turned to look at Haruna, the Kongou still holding her face in her hands.

"Haruna? What are you doing?" Arizona asked, her tone going soft as she spoke to the girl. Haruna only shook her head, her face still held in her hands.

"You're not dressed." Came the muffled response, the girl not looking up as she said it. Arizona furrowed her brows in confusion, taking a glance down at herself. It took a moment before it occurred to Arizona when she finally sighed.

"Haruna? What's the big deal? I'm in pajamas and you've seen me naked before. Technically speaking, this should be less shocking." Arizona said, watching Haruna a moment. Eventually, Haruna began to bring her face up from her hands, looking at Arizona. The battleship only smiled in response, but before she could say anything, chaos ensued.

Before Arizona could react, Maryland came up from behind, and pulled Arizona's shirt over her head, giving the Kongou sisters direct sight of the battleship's ballast tanks. Haruna's face immediately went back to her hands as her sisters only looked on in shock. Arizona struggled to pull her shirt back down as Maryland continued to hold it up, laughing at her own amusement as she did so.

"I didn't know you were so naughty, Arizona!" Maryland laughed, still holding the battleship's top overhead. It only came to an end when Arizona elbowed her in the stomach, causing Maryland to clutch her stomach in slight laughter, slight pain.

Arizona pulled her shirt down In a hurry, her face slowly but surely heating up.

"I'm... I'm just gonna go get dressed now..." Arizona muttered before retreating back to her room. Maryland only continued to laugh, some tears coming to her eyes.
-------------------------------------

Forty five minutes later, the American Kanmusu that were scheduled to be apart of Fourth Fleet were dressed and ready to deploy. Currently, those plus the ten Japanese Kanmusu who had come to the American dorms were walking over to the Japanese dorms.

"So, uh, Arizona? You alright? You haven't said a word in the last hour almost." Tenryuu asked. Arizona only grumbled in response, glaring at Maryland for a moment, before looking back ahead. Confusion clear, Tenryuu looked to Maryland. "What happened?" The light cruiser asked. The Colorado class girl only laughed in response.

"Arizona's just upset cause she flashed Haruna." Maryland said. Tenryuu arched a brow as she looked over to Arizona for explanation. Arizona only glared at Maryland again before shaking her head.

"It's not important. Are the others ready?" She asked. Tenryuu nodded.

"Yeah, Nagato was making the rounds around the dorms when we left. They'll probably be outside waiting when we get there." She told her. Arizona nodded as the group continued to walk in the darkness of the early morning of Yokosuka.

The usual scene was present. The calming sounds of the waves lapping up against the piers. The ever present cool breeze of the early morning winds. The sounds of morning were sounding off across the area, whether it be nature or man.

Eventually, the group came up on the Japanese Kanmusu dorms. And like Tenryuu had said prior, the girls that were designated to Fourth Fleet were standing outside under the exterior lights of the building. Nagato spotted them as they approached, walking up to the group.

"Are you ready?" She asked in her usual calm demeanor. Arizona nodded in turn.

"Yeah, we're all awake and ready. I take it you all are as well?" She asked. Nagato nodded, looking back to the Japanese Kanmusu.

"Indeed." Came the response. Arizona nodded.

"Well then? What are we waiting for?" Arizona asked. Nagato nodded as she turned to those waiting and gave a sharp whistle, grabbing the attention of the girls. As the two groups became one, Arizona looked back to Kirishima and Hiei.

"Are you two going to come see Kongou and Haruna off or are you going to stay here?" She asked. Hiei gave a thumbs off.

"We're going to come see them off of course." Hiei replied. Kirishima only offered a nod in response, adjusting her glasses as she did so. Arizona nodded as she turned back to Nagato.

"Let's get going then." Arizona said. Nagato nodded as the total group of 43 began to head towards the launching chamber. As they did so, Maryland looked over to Arizona and Nagato as the two lead the group.

"So.... Do we have an assigned flagship...?" The battleship asked. This seemed to halt the two as they traded a glance before looking back at Maryland.

"We don't." Arizona confirmed. "Admiral never said anything about one." She said. Nagato nodded.

"Then who will be flagship?" Takao asked from the back of the group, watching along with the others as they walked along the base towards the launching chambers.

As they continued to discuss the topic, the fleet neared their desired destination. And to their surprise, they found someone waiting there for them.

"Admiral...?" Atlanta asked unsure. Blonde woman in question, decked out in her exercise attire, turned to face them as she removed her headphones from her ears.

"Hey there." Anya said with a smile, hands on her hips as she faced the group. The girls only looked at her confused.

"Admiral? Why are you awake?" San Diego asked. Anya shrugged in response, taking a look down at her IPod before looking back up at the girls.

"I exercise in the morning. I thought you girls knew that?" She asked, looking at Atlanta and San Diego. Arizona shook her head.

"No. It's not that. But usually, it's not this early in the morning. Usually, it's like an hour before everyone gets up. What gives?" Arizona asked. Anya shrugged.

"I figured I might as well get up early and see you ladies off. Is there anything wrong with that?" She asked, looking at the battleship. Arizona shook her head.

"No, it's not Admiral. But we do have a question that was not answered last night." Arizona said. Anya looked at Arizona in a questioning manner.

"And that is?" She asked.

"We were never assigned a flagship." Arizona said. Anya nodded in turn, scratching at her nose a moment before looking up to Arizona.

"And this is a problem?" She asked. Arizona nodded her head in confirmation. Anya shrugged. "Admiral Ishigara, Captain Algerona, and myself figured you all would decide that. You're going to be on open water for close to seven days either way you go. This is your decision." The American Admiral said. This seemed to catch both Arizona and Nagato off guard.

"Our decision...?" Nagato asked. Anya nodded as the launching chamber doors began to open, the usual mechanical whirring filling the air.

"Your decision." Anya said as the girls began to walk in. "All that matters to me is that 41 of you come back. Other than that, it's up to you." Anya said. The two battleships gave slow nods as Anya waved. "Good luck." She said as she and the two Kongou sisters that were not part of the fleet began to walk away. Arizona and Nagato only traded a glance before walking in as well.
-------------------------------------

Her eyes opened slowly, watching as the sunlight came in through the window. Casting beams of light through the room, it lit up the space with a natural sense of ease. And with this light, the girl's sleep came to an end.

Enterprise's eyes creaked open with all the grace of an old barn door. Not easily, and with a bit of force. But as she fully opened them, the first thing she noticed was as clear as day.

The nothingness.

The absence.

The emptiness.

It was too obvious, hear head still resting on her pillow, as she looked over at the two empty beds in the room with her. The blankets still messy, the sheets still ruffled, she knew they had been there previously. Hell, the room still smelled faintly of the lilac scent that seemed to emanate from Langley.

Enterprise could only imagine how far away the two carriers were. Tens of miles, possibly hundreds. And it would only increase as the day wore on. She didn't even want to think of where the Midway sisters would end up by day's end.

And yet, here she was, doing not a damn thing.

The Ghost of the war. The terror of the seas. The symbol of the American Resilience of the time. And she wasn't doing a damn thing.

No, she had been sidelined.

And she didn't even know why.

Shaking her head, Enterprise tossed her blankets off of her as she stood, stretching her limbs as she did so.

After she had done so, she went about getting dressed, not bothering with speed of professionalism. She went about getting dressed in a sluggish way, taking her time. Not like she had anywhere to be after all.

When she was dressed, albeit looking herself to make sure she was presentable and orderly, she stepped out of the room. And that's where she found the second sign that she had been left behind.

Silence. Silence is what awaited her in the hallway of the American dorm building. There wasn't a sound. Not even a breath as she stood there, looking around at all the open doors and messy rooms of the other girls. They were all gone, deployed across the oceans.

"Why...?" She spoke to herself, soon enough walking out of the building. Stepping out into the morning air, she made her first decision.

Checking in with the Admiral.

Deciding it to be a reasonable plan, and having the chance to discover the reasons for her being held back, she began to walk to the American HQ where her Admiral and the Captain called home.

The walk only taking a few minutes, the carrier soon stepped up onto the front step of the American HQ. But after a moment, she decided against it. Instead, she elected to walk away from the American HQ and go straight to the Carrier range.

Giving another yawn as she walked along, she watched for any of the other girls still on base. But when she found no one around, she continued to walk along base.

Eventually, Enterprise arrived at the carrier range. Opening the door, she found only one other occupant of the range at this time.

Akagi.

Watching as the Japanese carrier fired off an arrow, she watched quietly as the arrow split off into the six zeroes so common with the carrier.

Apparently, the carrier had not noticed Enterprise's presence in the room, because she didn't turn her head away as she prepared another arrow.

Giving a shrug, Enterprise took a look around the room, half expecting Chitose and Chiyoda to be sitting along the wall somewhere, the older of the two to be drinking some form of Alcohol. But, to E's surprise, she found that she and Akagi were the only ones in.

Shrugging, Enterprise went about going to the wall that held most of the bows on it. Selecting her training bow and a quiver of Corsair fighter arrows, she turned and took a place next to Akagi, still to the unknown of the Japanese carrier.

"Focused?" Enterprise asked. Her simple question caused the Japanese carrier to nearly leap out of her skin as she turned to face the owner of the sudden voice. When she found that it was only Enterprise, the Japanese carrier gave a sigh, much to the amusement of Enterprise. "Did I startle you...?" The American carrier asked.

"A little bit, Enterprise-San, a little bit...." Akagi said after a moment, soon enough re-nocking her arrow. Enterprise laughed in turn as she nocked her first arrow, lining her sight up with the target. When she was satisfied with her aim, she released the arrow, sending it flying.

Watching as it split into the three corsairs, they hit the target with precision, the machine gun rounds striking the target with professionalism. Watching her handiwork a moment longer, Enterprise went about nocking another arrow.

"Akagi, I have to ask... How can you just accept being left behind like we've been?" The carrier asked, looking to her current shooting partner. Akagi simply shrugged, only firing another arrow in response.

"I do not have a problem with it. I trust we were left behind for a reason from the day's sorties." Akagi offered in reply, taking a glance over to Enterprise. The American carrier furrowed her brow in frustration at the answer, the reply not having been what she had expected.

"But how!? We're just sitting here while the other girls are out there, risking their lives and possibly dying! How can we just sit here and do nothing?!" Enterprise asked, quite lividly. Akagi simply nodded.

"Though I can understand your thoughts, Enterprise-San, I do not share the same feelings. Our Admirals asked us to stay here, on base." Akagi replied. Enterprise shook her head.

"More like told. We didn't even get a choice." She said, firing another arrow at the targets. This arrow, however much unlike her others, was more off to the right then anything. Akagi watched as the Navy Blue fighters struggled to make up for the change in aim. Taking another glance at Enterprise from the corner of her eye, she lowered her bow.

"Enterprise-San, perhaps you should take a break. Your emotion is impacting your aim." Akagi said. "You're not as focused as you should be." She said. Enterprise shook her head in reply, instead nocking another arrow.

"I'm fine Akagi." She said, in no friendly tone, as she nocked another arrow.

Akagi, watching as this arrow flew off course as well, gave a sigh. As she watched Enterprise study her shot for a moment, the Japanese carrier decided that it was time to act. Time to reveal the true purpose of her being held back.

But before she could do so, Enterprise gave a heavy sigh, walking away from the firing line, putting her bow and arrows up on the wall. As she did so, Akagi called out to the carrier.

"Enterprise-San? What are you doing?" Akagi asked. The American carrier sighed.

"I'm going to give the Admiral a piece of my mind. Leaving me behind, what? Am I not good enough?" She asked as she kept walking to the door.

Akagi began to doubt her plan. This was not what she had wanted. She had not wanted Enterprise to dislike her Admiral because of this. True, Admiral Johnson had warned her about something like happening. But she had casted it aside at the time, choosing not to take it to heart. Well now, that was coming down on her. She had to act fast. She had to put the Yorktown's attention on something else.

"Enterprise-San! Wait!" Akagi called after the woman. But the Yorktown class didn't halt. She didn't even fault in her steps as she walked for the exit.

"Enterprise-San! Please stop!" Akagi tried again. But she had no such luck as E kept walking, now exiting the building. Putting her gear up as quickly as she could, the Japanese carrier followed her outside quickly.

"Enterprise-San! Please, just wait a moment!" Akagi asked again. But once again, she was met with no such luck as the Yorktown class carrier just kept walking. Watching her go, Akagi ran after her as she tried one more time.

"ENTERPRISE! STOP!" Akagi shouted as she grabbed the carrier's hand, causing the carrier to finally stop walking. Preparing to turn, Enterprise was fixing to say something. But as she turned fully, her lips were met with something other than words.

Another pair of lips.

As Enterprise had turned to say something to Akagi, the fleet carrier had taken her chance, pulling the American into a kiss.

Enterprise's brain came to a screeching halt, her previous problem now all but forgotten. Instead, her brain was trying to figure out what had just happened as her face began to burn a bright red.

A few moments later, when they finally separated, her face was still as red as it had been. Sure, Akagi had a blush as well, but not nearly like E's. Most likely from the simple fact that she knew what was coming.

"You... You kissed me...." Enterprise uttered in disbelief. Akagi only gave a small nod, the small smile her lips was presenting enough at the moment.

"I did...." Akagi confirmed with a nod. But Enterprise only continued to look at the carrier in disbelief.

"You kissed me...." She said again. Akagi only laughed in reply.

"Yes, this is true." She confirmed again. Enterprise looked at Akagi in a questioning manner.

"Why though? Why would you kiss me...?" Enterprise asked. Akagi only gave a small smile in reply, looking at the taller carrier.

"First and foremost...? To stop you. From blaming the wrong person for you being held back from deployment." Akagi said, looking at E.  The carrier's brow furrowed in confusion.

"The wrong person..? But the Admiral was the one who made the call." Enterprise said in reply. Akagi nodded her head slowly.

"True. Admiral Johnson did make the call to hold you back. But she did at someone else's request." Akagi told her. Enterprise looked surprised.

"She did? Who? Who asked her to hold me back?" Enterprise inquired. Akagi gave a soft sigh in response, followed by the smallest of smiles.

"I did, Enterprise-San. I was the one who asked your Admiral to hold you away from the sorties." Akagi admitted. Enterprise only looked at the carrier in surprise, not having expected this. Not having expected Akagi to be the reason.

"You did...? But why? Why would you do that?" Enterprise asked. Akagi only gave a small nod.

"I did so because...." Akagi trailed off as her cheeks began to burn, a deep red color filling them in. Her eyes wandered to the ground as she tried to speak what was on her mind. "I did it because.... Because.... Because I have feelings for you Enterprise-San... And I didn't know how to tell you...." Akagi eventually admitted. E only watched the carrier.

"You do....?" Enterprise asked after a moment. Akagi nodded, hesitant in her actions, as she looked up at the carrier. Her cheeks still burning red, she watched Enterprise carefully.

"I do... It's one of the reasons I asked Admiral Johnson to hold you back.... I wished to confront you about these feelings. And if possible, learn if you held similar feelings... for me...." Akagi said. Enterprise only offered a small nod in reply.

"But you weren't certain if I held the same feelings..." The silver haired carrier concluded. Akagi nodded.

"Yes.... I was and am not certain that you hold similar feelings for me... And now you're angry at your Admiral. This was not what I wanted. She warned me that you'd react like this. But ignored it. I ignored the possible problems in favor of my own options. Such selfishness..." Akagi said, looking at the ground, her expression one of hurt and sadness.

As she did so, Enterprise watched the carrier look at the ground in a saddened way. After a moment, the second of the Yorktown sisters only gave a small smile in reply, one that went unnoticed by the Japanese carrier.

"Akagi..." Enterprise spoke softly. The Japanese carrier in turn looked up at her, expecting the worst. What she didn't expect however, was the sudden touch of Enterprise's hands along her waist. Surprise overcoming her features, she looked up to face Enterprise, who still had the small smile upon her lips.

"First, Akagi, I've never known you to be selfish. Not a single moment. Well, that's a lie. You become pretty vicious when it comes to bacon. But besides that, you're probably the sweetest thing on this green Earth." Enterprise said softly, looking the carrier in the eyes. Akagi couldn't help the smile that overcame her lips, looking back at E. Smiling, E continued.

"Secondly, you said you have feelings for me. Well, that's a big coincidence. Because you know, I just so happen to have some feelings too. And they just so happen to be for you. Totally out there, but yeah..." Enterprise said with a small chuckle, her smile never fading. Akagi couldn't stop the giggle of both excitement and relief that overcame her, looking back at Enterprise.

"And third and final.... Well, we have a problem. You see, that kiss? Well, that kiss caught me off guard. And in America, we have this unspoken rule. When caught off guard by a surprise attack, regroup, and launch your own attack. So, you know, I'm gonna have to pay you back In full." She said softly. Before Akagi could object, Enterprise tightened her grasp on Akagi's waist as she brought her right hand up to Akagi's chin, tilting it up towards her. Then, without a second thought, Enterprise brought her lips to Akagi's, sending both carriers into a long awaited bliss.

After a few long second of sweet silence, the two separated, somewhat hesitantly. Giving a soft smile, Enterprise put her forehead against Akagi's, still holding the carrier around the waist.

"I do have a question though...." Enterprise began, gaining Akagi's attention. "Why not just talk to me about this before the sorties?" She asked. Akagi nodded in understanding.

"Understandable. But, I figured this way would be more comfortable for the two of us should it have worked out. Not only that, but Lexington-San herself was a slight problem. And Jun'you too. I believe there is a phrase...? Loud Mouth I think? Yes, that is it." She reasoned. Enterprise thought about it a moment before giving a grateful nod.

"Good call." E said in confirmation. Akagi only giggled as she leant up again, gaining another kiss out of the American carrier.

"Wow.... I must be really drunk because I am definitely seeing things." A voice rang out from the side. Enterprise and Akagi split apart rather quickly, their faces turning a deep shade of red, as they looked over to the owner of the voice. There, they found that Chitose and Chiyoda had just come around the corner. Chiyoda gave a nod.

"Well I'm drunk too then, because I'm pretty sure I just sat E and Akagi locking lips. Not only that, I had no idea our dear Enterprise was such the smooth talker." Chiyoda mused. Enterprise's cheeks only burned brighter in response.

"How much did you hear...?" She asked quietly. The two sisters only laughed in response as they walked to the carrier range door.

"Depends. Do you want to keep this a secret from the other girls?" Chitose asked. Akagi nodded, her own cheeks a deep red.

"That would be preferable for the time being. At least until we adjust to it..." She said. The two sisters gave nods as they walked inside.

"Then we didn't hear a thing." Chiyoda said as she followed Chitose inside.

Akagi and Enterprise only traded a startled glance for a moment before the latter of the two made a suggestion.

"So, do you maybe want to head over to Mamiya's and get a parfait? Maybe talk this whole thing over?" She asked. Her suggestion was met with a smile.

"Sounds like a plan." Akagi agreed. Enterprise only smiled as the two walked off together, hand in hand.
-------------------------------------

"How cute..." Anya mused as she watched the two women walk off together. After a moment, she turned away as she began to head back towards the American HQ.

It didn't take too long for the American Admiral to reach the building, taking no time in walking inside. Walking a little ways more, she opened the door as she walked into the shared office between herself and Sofia.

"So how'd it go?" Sofia asked, looking up from her desk as she took a break from her work, leaning back as she rested her hands on her head. Anya shrugged as she made her way to her desk.

"It was... It was adorable honestly. They kissed like three times within five minutes." Anya said. Sofia gave a nod.

"So let's see. Enterprise and Akagi. Langley and Houshou. Arizona and Haruna. Not as certain with those last two though, as I've never scene anything sort of romantic between those pairs. Any others I'm missing?" She asked. Anya shrugged.

"I feel like Atlanta and Tenryuu have some tomboyish relationship with each other. Not sure how far it goes." Anya said. Sofia nodded in turn.

"Not sure we should count that one. One thing I will count however is I am looking forward to a few days of peace and quiet. It's gonna be so nice." Sofia sighed, leaning back in her chair some more. Anya arched a brow at her friend, watching her become relaxed.

"Oh? You know we're not completely free. We still have six girls on base." Anya reminded her. Sofia just laughed in reply, rolling her eyes.

"You're kidding right? Sure, we have six girls left. Six of the most tame girls under our combined command. Let's do a roll call shall we? Well, first, we have Taigei and Mamiya. I don't think those two could cause trouble even if their life depended on it. Secondly, we have Chitose and Chiyoda. Even if Chitose were to get drunk, Chiyoda is ready to wrangle her in should it be required. And third, we have-"

The Captain was cut off as Anya let out a laugh, covering her mouth right after she did so, still laughing quietly. Trying to calm down, Anya tried her best to brush off Sofia's careful watch.

"Did I say something funny?" Sofia asked. Anya shook her head in an amused fashion.

"No, no. Please continue." Anya laughed, gesturing for the Captain to continue her statement. Nodding, still watching Anya carefully, Sofia continued on with her thought.

"As I was saying, then we have Enterprise and Akagi. While Enterprise can get worked up, we've never had an actual issue with her. And with what's going on between her and Akagi, I don't think there'll be an issue with either of them." Sofia said. Anya nodded.

"That certain?" She asked.

"Positive." Came the response.

"Sure?"

"Yeah."

"Ok hold onto that thought. That thought of simplicity. Can you do that?" Anya asked. Sofia watched her with a careful eye.

"Sure, I can. Don't see what that has to do with anything." Sofia responded.

"You holding that thought?"

"Yes, I'm holding the thought."

"Are you really holding it?"

"Yes, I'm not going to let it go."

"Look down at your Gateway ring."

"Fuck."

Anya laughed as the two of them stood from their desks, out from behind them, and out the door.

"What are you thinking?" Sofia asked, taking a glance at the Admiral. Anya looked back at her friend, giving a shrug as the two women walked on, their dark blue pixelated uniforms making them stand out.

"Thinking? As in?" Anya asked. Sofia shrugged.

"Like what new classes. Types. Preferred?" Sofia clarified. Anya nodded knowingly as she thought about it a moment before answering.

"Well, speaking on a historical note, our destroyer pool is pathetically small. So some more destroyers would not be a bad thing. Not only that, but maybe another class. Like a Fletcher. Now, I have nothing against Bristol or her sisters. I love them to death. But it would be nice to have some destroyers that don't break down into giggles every other five seconds." Anya reasoned. Sofia nodded as the two walked on.

"So maybe some destroyers along the maturity levels of Fubuki or Shigure?" She suggested. Anya nodded with a pointed finger.

"Exactly." She confirmed. Sofia nodded as she thought about the other classes of ships for a moment.

"Maybe a buff on our Cruiser numbers wouldn't be a bad thing either." She suggested. Anya nodded.

"True. Though, when it comes to Anti-air power, we can't complain. We really can't. And if we do, we're just being greedy." She joked. Sofia nodded.

"Yeah, we hit a lucky note with three of the Atlanta sisters. But maybe some more heavy cruisers might not be a bad thing either." She said. Anya nodded as the two neared the summoning building, it now within their sight.

"True. Very true. What's the thought on our subs?" Anya asked. Sofia shrugged.

"The Gato sisters haven't gotten a chance to prove themselves. Let's not ask for more than we can chew just yet." Sofia replied. Anya nodded.

"The carriers are good for the moment. Do we need to even discuss the battleships?" Anya asked. Sofia only laughed.

"No way. I mean, not gonna turn my back to another battlewagon. But if every thing in the next few weeks works out, we'll have quite the member of battleships." Sofia mused. Anya nodded in turn.

"Well, then, let's get in there already. Find out who's coming through this time. Hopefully, though, it's below eight. Like you said, I would like to retain a sense of order around here." Anya suggested. Sofia only laughed in reply as she went to open the door. But just as her hand was about to make contact with the door handle, a voice spoke out.

"I knew it!" A voice called, approaching by the sounds of it. The two American officers whipped around to find Chitose and Chiyoda.

"Can we help you?" Sofia asked. Chitose nodded, a grin on her face.

"You can by letting us be there when they come through!" She offered. Chiyoda nodded in agreement, albeit somewhat a little more relaxed than her sister. Anya and Sofia traded a glance before looking back to the two.

"Okay. Hold up. How did you two even know we were heading here?" Anya asked. Chitose simply shrugged.

"We had a feeling!" She offered. Chiyoda rolled her eyes in reply as she revealed the true process.

"She saw you two leave the HQ, came and got me, and we tailed you here. Figured this was the most likely place." Chiyoda said. Chitose elbowed her sister in the side as Anya sighed.

"Ok. So you want to watch? What makes you think that's such a good idea?" She asked. The two shrugged.

"Sound fun. And the other girls never got hurt while doing so." Chitose reasoned.

"True. But the first summoning only held seven. And all of them were rather reasonable as we explained it." Anya said.

"And Kaga was lucky because the two who came through when she was with Midway were her younger sisters and had no qualms with Japan." Sofia told them.

"See! It all worked out!" Chitose replied, throwing her arms up in the air in victory.

"So what are you gonna do if we get another group of 21? Who, some of them, may have serious grudges with the Japanese? With you girls?" Sofia asked. Chiyoda just rolled her eyes.

"Then we'll hide behind you two. They wouldn't dare strike a person who their Admiral and Captain view as allies now would they?" She asked. Sofia laughed as Anya sighed.

"Cocky allies at that. What would we tell Ishigara if you two got hurt?" She asked. The two shrugged.

"Our choice. He doesn't dictate what we do all the time. And if we do get our faces punched in by an angry American Battleship, it's a good lesson." Chitose offered. Anya arched a brow in question.

"And the lesson?" She asked.

"Get out of the way faster." Chitose replied with a grin.

Anya and Sofia just laughed in reply, nodding in response. When they laughter had calmed down, Anya nodded, opening the door behind her as she stepped out of the way.

"Kanmusu first." She offered.

"Sweet." Chitose said as she and her sister walked inside, followed by Anya and Sofia.

The Gateway, just as imposing and intimidating as ever, still sat in the middle of the room. Ever present, it continued to fill the room with an ocean breeze that shouldn't of been possible, the waves of its domain going on as if everything were normal. As if they weren't being looked upon by an outside source.

Walking up to the object, the four became quiet, their eyes focused on watching for any kind of motion. Their hearing honed in on any kind of abnormal noise for the water.

It was ten minutes before something finally began to happen, before things began to get rolling.

"Hey?" Chitose asked. "Do you guys hear that?" She asked to no one in particular. Taking this as a cue, the four became deathly quiet, waiting for the noise to increase.

And increase it did, the sound of a ship's wake becoming clear. Holding their breath, the two American women watched in wait, seeing who would be the first to come through.

Their waits were answered when a woman, appearing to be the age of twenty, cut through the fog with the quickest of motions. Soon spotting the four, the figure didn't take her eyes off of Anya as she crossed through.

It was clear the girl wasn't a simple destroyer or light cruiser, her figure too toned for that. Too curvy. But she wasn't the only one.

Soon enough, another woman, looking quite similar to the first, crossed through the fog as she made her way to crossing through, her feet making contact with the ground with a mighty thud as she landed. Walking up next to the first one, the two studied the four already present women as they did the same to the new arrivals.

Just by looking at them, Anya could tell they were sisters. Most likely of the Heavy Cruiser type, maybe even a battleship if she was really reaching for it.

But the Gateway wasn't done, as another figure emerged from the fog. Looking much different than the first two, this girl looked younger.

The six standing around watched as she approached, silence overcoming them as they waited for her to cross through.

But just as she was about to cross through, she stopped. As she did so, she turned, floating there on the water as she waited.

And her wait was soon met with reward as a fourth figure came through the fog, soon catching up to the third. Giving a smile in return, the third turned as the two crossed through together.

Studying them a moment, Anya immediately noticed small similarities between the two. And to other girls already crossed over.

For instance, the fourth to have come through had a deep red for the color of her hair, a trait somewhat common among the Atlanta sisters. And dark blue eyes made themselves known among the third to have crossed over. But where the similarities were present, so were the differences. For instance, the two seemed to be a few inches taller than Atlanta and her sisters.

But just as Anya was preparing to study them further, movement in the Gateway drew her attention away from the girls and back to it. And movement it was.

Just emerging from the fog was a woman. Long cascading black hair fell from her head as she glided across the water, the very symbol of elegant. Not a thing out of place, this woman made cruising an event. And from the toned stomach she was showing to the world, her image screamed battleship.

But she wasn't alone, as right after she emerged from the fog, a second one came. Sticking close to the first, she cruised at a leisurely pace. Dark black hair as well, the two women gave the Gateway a sense of royalty.

Watching as the two crossed through, staying by each other's side as they did so, Anya went back to watching the Gateway.

As the minutes passed, the gem on Anya's ring returned to the neutral dark blue, the color that symbolized the ending of the crossings. Watching it a moment longer, she brought her vision back up to the six freshly summoned.

"Quite the place you've got here. Nice and quiet. Good place to catch some Z's." The second girl to cross through mused. Anya only gave small laugh in response as she approached the group, Sofia and the Japanese carriers right behind her.

"Quite so. Let's get things started with a few introductions. I am Vice Admiral Anya S. Johnson of the United States Navy. This is Captain Sofia I. Algerona. And the two ladies joining us are Chitose and Chiyoda, representatives of our Japanese allies." Anya introduced. One of the girls, the third to cross over, smirked as she planted her hand on her hip.

"Japanese allies? Well, hell. This is already interesting and you don't even know our names yet!" She mused, giving a bark like laugh. Anya only smiled, nodding.

"Well then, let's figure out some names for you girls then. Figure out which ones decided to come through." Anya proposed. One of the girls, the first to come through, chuckled.

"As much fun as that would be, I think you should figure out who we are on your own. You're an Admiral and a Captain. You should know the Ships of our nation's past." She suggested, a suggestion that gained the nods of the other five newly summoned Kanmusu. Anya nodded as she looked to Sofia, arching a brow as if silently proposing the question. Sofia nodded in confirmation, taking a step forward as she looked between the six.

"Well, let's see. Going off of what we know of the girls already on base and their basic physiques, my guess is we've got four cruisers, two light and two heavy. And then we have two battleships. Correct so far?" Sofia asked. The six nodded as Anya stepped forward, walking up to the two presumably light cruisers.

"Well let's see here. Dark red hair, blue eyes. Traits you both have some part of, and traits that seem to point to some sort of relation to Atlanta. But this height thing you've got going on, that's the puzzling piece. But thinking about the Atlanta class, it comes to my attention that half of it was constructed later than the first four. And since we have Atlanta, San Diego, and Juneau on base and you two seem to resemble each other rather than one not, my guess is that you're part of this second half. And if that's the case, my guess is probably cruisers 95 and 96, Oakland and Reno. Or I could be wrong and you could be cruisers 49 and 50, St. Louis and Helena. So which is it?" She asked with a small grin.

The third girl to cross through sighed, though the grin she exhibited did not portray annoyance.

"Agh, you got us. CL-95 USS Oakland, fifth of the Atlanta class and first of the Oakland subclass. You're pretty smart." Oakland said. Anya only smiled in reply.

Oakland didn't stick to the usual Atlanta appearance. Sure, she had the red hair her eldest sister sported. But that's where the similarities ended. She was taller than Atlanta, giving sight to her age. Where Atlanta looked 16, Oakland looked to be 17, maybe edging on 18. Emerald eyes watched Anya a sense of impressed nature.

Nodding, Anya turned to look at who was presumably Reno, who in turn smiled.

"Figured it might take longer than that. Should've known you'd have experience with this sort of thing. CL-96, USS Reno. Sixth of the Atlanta's and second of the Oakland subclass. Don't go feeling Oakland up. She's freaky like that." She laughed as she was punched in the side by Oakland. Anya only laughed in reply.

Reno, like her older sisters, held some similarities. To Atlanta, she held the dark blue eyes that were so prominent to her eldest sister. To Oakland, she held the height that made the subclass different. But the blonde hair stretching to her waist was a first for their class. She as well, like Oakland, looked 17 or 18.

"Gotta say. For younger sisters, you two looked like you could be older than Atlanta." Anya mused. The two only nodded, trading an amused glance with each other as they stepped back. In turn, Sofia stepped up to the two heavy cruisers.

"So you? Think you can figure us out?" The second to come through asked, looking at Sofia. The woman nodded, looking at the two for a moment.

"Well let's see. You two are clearly heavy cruisers. But, you don't bare resemblance to either Chicago or San Francisco, eliminating the Northampton and New Orleans classes from my choices. And, you two look really close. And, I'm really partial to some of the smaller classes. So I'm gonna take a chance and go Pensacola and Salt Lake City. That's just my guess though. How'd I do?" Sofia asked with knowing smirk. The first to come through sighed, crossing her arms.

"Damn. Got us good, Captain. Be honest, you knew because of my sister's fat ass didn't you? CA-25, Salt Lake City. Second of the Pensacola Class Heavy Cruiser." Salt Lake said, looking at the Captain.

Salt looked to be around 20, like her older sister as she stood there. Standing at around 5"11, she had some height to her. Dark blonde hair fell to her mid back as dark brown eyes showed a sense of amusement to them, despite her earlier statement. But that Amusement was erased as her older sister spoke.

"Fat? More like fantastic. Much unlike your flat excuse for an ass. Don't be surprised if the Admiral wants to send you back. CA-24, USS Pensacola. Name Ship of the Pensacola Heavy Cruisers. Pleasure to be here and happy to serve."

Like her sister, Pensacola had dark blonde hair, mid back length too. But her eyes were a lighter brown, giving viable difference between the two. Standing at 5"11 as well. Sofia just laughed in response of the two's bickering, gaining grins from the two. Laughing, Anya walked over to the two presumable battleships.

"Alright... The queens of the sea... Let's see. Height, physical age. Certainly don't belong to the earlier battleships. Taller than Mary and Missy. So certainly not part of the New Mex or Colorado classes. But you two really don't resemble Indiana in any way shape or form." As she said this, she noticed one of the two grimace at the mention of the name. "And if that's the case, right in between the Colorado and South Dakota Class is this nice little two ship class known as the North Carolina class. And I believe the nicknames included Showboat. And going with that, and the fact that the word Queen doesn't do you two Justice, I'm gonna bet you're the NC sisters. Am I right?" She asked with a grin. The two battleships only smiled in response, nodding as they watched the Admiral.

"Indeed." The fifth to cross over agreed. "I am BB-55, the former USS North Carolina. Namesake of the North Carolina Class Battleship. And glad to be needed once again in service of my country and defense of its people." She said. Anya nodded in turn.

North had all the elegance of Royalty, her black hair giving off a shine. Her crystal blue eyes watched Anya with a sense of promise and loyalty as she studied the woman. She stood at 6"5, rivaling Indiana in height. Her appearance told the story of a 25 year old woman.

Nodding, Anya turned her attention to the presumable younger sister of North, Washington.

"I am BB-56, USS Washington. Second and final of the North Carolina class battleships. Glad to be here in your presence Admiral. And you as well Captain." Wash said with a soft smile. The two women smiled in reply.

Wash, much like her older sister, held the Queenly feeling about her. The way she looked, the way she spoke. She was walking Royalty. Her shining black hair, though shorter than her sister's, held the same elegance. Her ruby red eyes gave her a sense of difference from her sister as she stood at the same height as North.

"Though, Admiral, I must ask. How did you know we were battleships?" North asked, looking down at the woman. Anya smiled an awkward smile.

"Well, as you'll see when the others her back from deployment, all the battleships share certain aspects. One of those, one you and your sister are sporting mighty well I might add, are those tone stomachs of yours. Whether it be Arizona or Musashi, it's pretty much a given. Plus height and bust size are also good indications." Anya added. The sisters nodded as Anya took a few steps back, looking at the six again.

After a moment, she nodded.

"Alright. Here's what's up."
