Sisters Reunited

"Hey E." Jersey sighed, glancing down at the Carrier still holding her middle. But when the carrier, when the ghost didn't even budge in the slightest to her prodding, she only chuckled somewhat as she began to work on pulling her off. But the Yorktown class's arms didn't want to come free, they didn't want to unlodge themselves from holding to the woman.

Lest it all be a dream. Jersey offered a quiet chuckle at that as she waited a moment longer, almost looking to the Captain for help. But in the end, Jersey simply relented, instead electing to merely rest her hands on E's shoulder, waiting for her to decide when she was done.

While that was going on, Anya was still holding firm to the destroyer. Her destroyer. It wasn't a chance that the woman ever thought she'd get, given the fact that almost every ship girl thus far had been dating back to World War 2 and prior. Yet here she was, holding the incarnation of John Finn. Her breathing settled somewhat as the destroyer continued to cling to her middle. As she did so, she noted that the destroyer was holding something. Furrowing her brow a moment, she eventually patted Johnny on the head.

"John?" Anya asked, glancing down at the destroyer. It took a moment, but the destroyer eventually gazed back up at the blonde a moment later, her green eyes meeting Anya's. When she finally did so, Anya glanced at the destroyer's hand. "What have you got there exactly?" She asked. John Finn blinked once for a moment before bringing up her hand and putting the cover she held in her grasp on her head. It was clearly oversized for the destroyer, and it almost sank half way onto her head, but the destroyer adjusted it a moment before looking up at Anya. And giving a wide grin.

"It's a cover!" The destroyer said proudly, even while the cover began to once more sink down around her head. Anya offered a slight laugh at the sight, reaching up to adjust it for the destroyer.

"I know it's a cover. But where did you get it?" She asked.

"Momi gave it to me." The destroyer replied. And Anya almost froze as her fingers adjusted the cover for the girl. Though at hearing that, Maryland, Yorktown, And Hornet descended upon the two, already watching the destroyer curiously. After a moment, looking at the cover a moment, Maryland nodded.

"Yeah, that's Momi's Alright." Maryland Answered as she looked to the destroyer. "I guess that means Momi thought you were pretty special if she handed you her cover like that." The battleship offered. John only offered a quaint smile up at the woman in return as she put a hand on the cover, still clinging to Anya somewhat. After a moment, Anya nodded as she patted John on the back somewhat before looking to Sofia.

"Now's probably a good time to head back to the HQ." She offered. Sofia nodded at that as Wisconsin chuckled.

"Totally would if E could learn how to let go of Jersey." She said for an explanation as she gestured broadly in the direction of the two, Where Jersey simply offered a slight chuckle and a small smile. And true to the battleship's word, E still hadn't moved from her spot hugging the woman. And at that, something occurred to Anya.

"That actually works for a moment. How much do you all know about what's going on in current day?" She asked, glancing around. "You know Jersey and Johnny needed an escort, but other than that?" She asked. Newport shrugged somewhat at that, putting a hand on her hip as she leaned to one side.

"We know that we were called for Escort duty and that J and J here needed an escort over. So that implies something strong enough to challenge J like they did, not to even mention that we're now all human." She said, gesturing to herself and then to the others. "I'm not about to ask Jersey or Johnny to relive their experience either." She reasoned, looking to the battleship in question for a moment before looking to Anya. "So I guess that leaves it up to you." She reasoned.

"Mind my mouth, but fuck that." Cleveland offered. "I wanna know what our fleet is made of. I wanna know who we've got already. Sure, we've got the Yorkies, we've got six destroyers, and we've got Mary. But I'm betting that's not all." She said.

"I know for sure Mo's here." Jersey offered quietly, drawing the attention to her as Anya arched a brow at that somewhat, still making no move to pull Johnny off of her.

"How...?"

"Momi." Jersey explained in return. Anya held a moment at that, once again questioning to herself just who Momi was before nodding in acceptance. "How are they? How's Mo?" She asked, her voice going almost quiet a moment. Anya took a moment before sighing.

"She wasn't the best last time I saw her." She said. "The three of them haven't come out of their room as far as we know. They've still been eating so there's that, but your presence is going to help a lot in the end." She reasoned. Jersey nodded at that somewhat, sighing somewhat before she looked back down to E, who was just now releasing the battleship from her grasp. Albeit reluctantly, if the battleship was guessing right.

"Sorry, I... I Uh..." E tried. Jersey for her sake only offered a chuckle at that as she ruffled the ghost's hair.

"Always were a bad liar." Jersey chuckled.

"None of this even began to answer my questions!" Cleveland insisted. Anya chuckled somewhat at that as she nodded in concession to the point.

"The only sisters we didn't mention of those here are three of Shangri-La's. CV's 10,12, and 16 are all on base." She explained, suddenly finding it very crucial to pay more attention to the fact that Newport News licked her lips at that fact. "Our total fleet composition is now 112, but the Grand Fleet's composition sits within the 270's. I could tell you why that is, but I can also assume that a lot of you could make the guess in one."

"Ship girls of other Navies." Saipan offered, crossing her arms. Anya nodded at that.

"The grand fleet is currently composed of a total of eight nationalities. American, British, French, German, Russian, Australian, Italian, and Japanese. As of now we have the biggest make up of the fleet, but the Japanese are at a close second." She said, glancing around. Before Any of them could say something, Jersey chuckled.

"Before any of you shits says anything about it being some sort of ploy, I only lived two years of my life before hand where I knew the Japs as any sort of enemy. After that, there was never a problem." She offered.

"Plus Enterprise is dating one." Yorktown offered in suppliance. At that however, Jersey's eyes subtly fell to E, who quietly met her gaze.

And offered a small, token nod in response.

Jersey's gaze held that of E's a moment longer before looking back to the collective group of 40 other ship girls.

"So what I'm hearing is I'm gonna have to work on their ship girls along with our own." She reasoned, offering a resigned sigh. Anya nodded at that as Maryland put a hand on Vestal's head.

"You're not alone though. Dionysus and Akashi do good work as is. You'll just make em better." She said. Vestal shrugged her shoulders at that somewhat, shaking her head.

"I wasn't saying anything against it. Just making sure." She sighed. "As long as we're all sinking the same threat, I won't care who I'm working on." She said. "No doubt to some's surprise." She reasoned. Anya nodded at that as John hugged her again.

"So? I'm assumin we've got someplace that we can go? Because no offense to the almighty Gateway here but it's not exactly the warmest and these outfits are designed with warmth in mind." Denver reasoned as she looked down at herself before looking back up. Anya nodded at that.

"I can't really say much for the other outfits just yet but yeah, there's some place We can go for a moment. I don't want to let you girls into the dorms just yet because that'll wake up a lot of em and going to be honest, some of them are absolute Diva's in the morning." She said. Independence nodded at that as she glanced to Maryland.

"So how many of Battleship Row's back?" She asked. Maryland nodded.

"We're just missing WeeVee, Cali, and Tenny." She said, a hand going to her hip. "And to further hammer the point home, Arizona's dating a Jap too." She said.

"She's not dating one of them... right?" Princeton asked, somewhat hesitant. Maryland shook her head at that.

"No. Arizona's not dating one of the Pearl six. But Enterprise is. So it's a slippery slope." She offered in response. The four light carriers looked surprised by that for a moment before Wright nodded.

"So... they're actually here? On base with us?" She asked. Maryland nodded at that as Anya did as well.

"Yes. Japanese Aircraft Carriers Akagi, Kaga, Hiryuu, Souryuu, Shoukaku, and Zuikaku are on base. Actually, about that. You should note that there are two Nagato's on base. One that responds to the prefix of JDS. And the other that responds with the prefix of USS. Do not give her hell. Despite being Japanese in origins, she responded to the call from the US." She said. "And she rooms with Louisiana, so honestly, If you feel like testing your chances there, that's your grave you're jumping into." She said. Cleveland's brow furrowed somewhat.

"Battleship.. what was she, nineteen?" She asked, scratching her head somewhat.

"Seventy One actually." Sofia replied.

"This Louisiana is the baby sister of the Montana class." Anya Answered, prompting Cleveland to stare somewhat in both befuddlement and surprise before blinking.

"Next you're gonna tell me that Monitor came back." She said. Anya smirked at that somewhat.

"Monitor and Merrimack actually." Sofia answered her. At that point, Cleveland just threw her arms up in defeat.

"Might as well just Throw in Constitution while we're at it." She huffed. But when she noted the smirks both Anya and Sofia were wearing upon their lips, she rolled her eyes hard. "Of course she is." She huffed. "So what? We have 112 summoned?" She clarified.

"With slots for eight more at the moment. Currently each country assigned to the Gateway has a limit of 120. Second is Japan. Third Germany. Fourth Australia. Fifth and sixth are Britain and France, tied. Seventh is Italy with eighth being Russian." She said. "But all that aside, this is stuff that can be asked at the HQ building. Which by the way, you're probably gonna notice two cats. Don't hurt em. One belongs to Saratoga and Prinz Eugen." She explained. "And the other belongs to Battleship Bismarck and Ark Royal." She said.

"Kitties!" Kaasan Bay cheered, she and her sisters erupting into the giggles. Anya chuckled somewhat.

"Another fair warning. Currently, the American HQ also plays host to the Australian Captain currently in charge of his fleet and Those of the British. So if you see some man you don't recognize, don't worry." She said before gesturing for them to follow, turning back to the door to the summoning chambers now leading the way. But she wasn't alone as John Finn's hand reached out for hers, Anya making no move to stop it. Clasping here with Johnny's, Anya lead the way out, Sofia working on herding the fleet out, specifically the four new Casablanca class escort carriers, who after a moment elected to simply follow after Sofia as if she was their guiding hand.

Sofia only chuckled somewhat at that as she brought up the rear, her hands soon being taken by two Of the carriers.

"You know now that I actually come out here, the Summoning chamber was a whole lot warmer." Cleveland offered, already shivering somewhat as she rubbed her arms. Anya chuckled somewhat at that as she nodded.

"That aside, just so we're clear, we're not in the US. Currently, we're located in Japan." She explained. "Yokosuka to be exact. We're stationed here because as far as we can tell the Gateway's the only one in the world. Meaning that if we want a fleet, we come to it." She said. "Which isn't something that everyone has seen eye to eye with." She offered.

"I can only imagine." Jersey offered at that, looking around for a moment before looking to Maryland. "Did Arizona raise a fuss?" She asked. Anya shook her head.

"The first real fuss someone made came from Saratoga. Oh actually, speaking of Carriers, Kitty Hawk's on base too." Anya said, prompting Jersey to look on in surprise before nodding. "But yeah, Kitty Hawk." She said. Before Jersey could answer however, one of the destroyers offered an opinion.

"That's good and all." Laffey offered, the Sumner variant said. "But in the end, what I'm concerned about it food. Do we get food at some point?" She asked. Anya nodded at that as the group grew ever closer to the American HQ.

"Breakfast happens in a few hours and soon enough the base as a whole will be awake. So we'll get you all fed at that time. Until then, you'll have to bare with it." She said a shrug. "And like we said, we don't want you girls going through the main dorm buildings until the fleet starts to wake up. But if some of you want to claim rooms in the second building that would be good too." She said. "We won't have enough space In the first building Anyways for everyone so it would be good to have some of you move that way." She said.

"Do our sisters room with anyone already?" Kidd asked. Anya nodded, glancing at the destroyer to answer, before blinking somewhat at the item Kidd seemed to be holding.

"Kidd... is that a bottle of Rum?" She asked, wearily glancing at the destroyer. Kidd, who in turn slowly brought her gaze up from the bottle a moment to look at the woman, slowly looked back down at her bottle. And after a moment, she slowly started moving it behind her back somewhat.

"Nooooooo...?" Kidd offered in reply, sheepishly glancing up at the woman. Anya only stared a moment, before sighing. First, she'd had a Russian destroyer with perpetual Vodka. And now there was one of her own destroyers with perpetual Rum Generation. Great.

"Just... don't drink it please?" She asked. Kidd offered a wide grin coupled with a nod, offering Anya some sense of solace. "And whatever you do, do not give it to the Japanese carriers Jun'you or Chitose please." She said. "Where did you find that anyways?" She asked.

Kidd shrugged.

Anya sighed.

"Anyways, yes, they room with people. Cabot rooms with San Francisco and Helena. The other nine Fletcher sisters are split up across three rooms. The Essex's share one room but I'm sure that they wouldn't mind splitting into two rooms. Here's the thing with the three Casablanca class already on base. Kitkun Bay and St. Lo room with Saratoga. But Bismarck Sea rooms with Battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz over in the German Dorms." She said. "That being said, the Japanese repair ship Akashi does stay within the American dorms." She offered.

"Though it wouldn't be surprising to see them rework their rooming situations at all in the slightest." Sofia added. Jersey nodded.

"And my sisters?" She asked.

"Like some of the other classes, they've pushed the three beds they have into one and just sleep in one large Iowa pile." Anya explained, glancing back at the battleship. Jersey nodded at that, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

At that point, they began to come up on the American HQ building and the subsequent dorm buildings. At the sight of them, England seemed to find them rather amazing as Sammy also looked over them with surprise.

"That's where we stay?" England asked. Anya nodded at that.

"The building behind the HQ to the right is where the rest of the fleet is currently sleeping. The one to the left is currently playing home to those of the British, Australian, and French." She explained.

"British and French ships under one roof? Isn't that like asking for trouble?" Wisconsin asked.

"Potentially. But it's only two French cruisers and five destroyers. The two French battleships on base room with the Japanese." She returned.

"What kind of base is this? An American sleeping with German battleships. French sleeping with the Japanese. A Japanese rooming with Americans. Next you're gonna tell me that the Russian fleet stays with the Americans!" Cleveland laughed out loud. Anya only smirked as she looked back at the cruiser, killing the laughter almost immediately as the light cruiser let out a groan.

"Nothing makes sense in the future." She huffed.

"Well, in your defense." Iowa offered. "Warships dating back to World War 2 and beyond are coming back as human. Kind of hard to make real sense of that other than just accepting it and rolling with it." She reasoned. Cleveland muttered something at that for a moment but offered no response to the statement, apparently finding the sense in the statement sound. Anya only chuckled at that as they continued on towards the HQ. And as they did so, they found Sam approaching them, offering a meow in greeting as he stared up at the group. Immediately, the four escort carriers took note of this.

"Kitty!" Mission Bay cheered as the four escort carriers immediately closed in on the cat. But despite the thought that the cat was about to bolt at the sight of the approaching Escort carriers, Sam stood his ground as the four crowded around him, offering the four curious glances as he mewed up at them. In turn, it was Anzio who elected for the first pet, the escort carrier carefully and slowly Reaching for the feline. And he greeted her by sniffing at her fingers a moment before moving forwards, rubbing his head against her hand. Anzio giggled madly as her three sisters settled down around her, glancing down at The cat a moment. Sofia ushered the group on towards the HQ as she and Wolverine stayed back with the four of them.

Anya nodded at that as she lead the way for the American HQ, still leading the rest of the group towards the front doors. But as she opened it, and allowed herself and Johnny inside first, she immediately found the form of Captain King, dressed in a simple T-shirt and sweat pants. The man exhaustedly looked to Anya a moment before glancing at Johnny. And this eyes seemed to shake off the exhaustion as the rest of the new summons began to trickle in behind Anya, the man still standing on the left staircase somewhat, staring somewhat blankly.

"Oh shit? He's fucking hot." Denver commented. King only blinked somewhat at that before looking to Anya for an answer. Anya shrugged at that.

"Early morning summoning." She answered before looking to Maryland. "If you wanna go back to bed for a little bit longer, I won't stop ya." She said. Maryland nodded at that, and by turn, grabbed the interest of the Gleaves, six of them starting to follow Maryland up the stairs. Turner and Thorn only watched somewhat as their sisters began to make their way up the stairs before looking to Anya in confusion.

"I thought the ship girls sleep in the dorm buildings?" Wolverine asked in turn, watching Mary ascend the stairs with the six Gleaves going behind her. Anya nodded at that as she looked to Turner and Thorn, nodding them up the stairs.

"Under most circumstances, yes that is correct. All for except Maryland, who sleeps with me." She said. "Last night however, the Gleaves found themselves unable to fall asleep under normal circumstances so they did as well." She explained, watching Turner and Thorn make their way up the stairs. When they had and she heard her bedroom door close upstairs, she then gestured to Captain King as they looked to the fleet. "This is Captain King. He's the one we told you that's in charge of the Australian fleet. Aside from the three of us, there is also Admiral Takeo Ishigara and Admiral Saradia Herkunft, in charge of the Japanese and German fleets respectively." She said, King offering a small wave in turn.

Some of the ship girls standing around a moment blinked at that.

"Wait? Then how are there Italian, British, French, and Russian ship girls if there's only leadership for four navies on base?" Saipan asked, crossing her arms somewhat confused. Anya shrugged at that as she did so.

"We honestly don't know why it keeps giving us girls of other nations when there's only four represented. It shouldn't be, but it is, and so we deal with it." She offered before looking to Sofia. "Captain, if you would be so kind, would you mind getting things started here?" She asked. Sofia nodded at that, simply gesturing for the group of new summons to follow her. Doing so, they began to stroll into the office. All except for Jersey, who Anya caught by the arm. "If you'll follow me?" She asked, not finishing the question.

Jersey simply nodded at that, already suspecting what this was entailing. As she did so, Anya looked to the Yorktown's.

"You ladies going to go back to sleep for a little longer?" She asked. After a moment, E's gaze once again meeting J's in a quiet manner, the three carriers nodded at the question. Anya gestured for them to follow along after them as she left the HQ building, battleship and the trio following after her.

It was a quiet walk to the dorms, Anya opening the door quickly and quietly for the five of them. Stepping in immediately, Jersey only spared herself a glance down the dimly lit hallway before following Anya up the stairs quietly, being trailed after by the three Yorktown class carriers. Stepping up to the second floor fully, it was at this point that the three carriers stepped around Anya and J, making way for their own room.

Waiting for them to go inside, Anya stopped J in front of a door on the right side of the hallway. But she needn't even asked why.

She could read the nameplates.

She glanced back at Anya, who simply offered her a small nod, paired with a softer smile. At that, Jersey barely even returned the nod as she once again looked forwards at the door, holding a moment before reaching for the handle with all the precision she could muster. Grabbing hold of it, she ever so slowly turned it, unlatching the door and pushing it open, albeit quietly and slowly.

Leaving the Blonde Admiral behind her in the hall, she ever so slowly turned and closed the door. When it has latched, she turned slowly, her eyes adjusting to the darkness quickly. Gaze falling onto the bed before her, she took a moment to study the figures before.

She didn't know why or how, but she wasn't questioning it. But something told her the one on the right was Illinois. And the one on the left was Kentucky.

The little sisters she never knew.

But the one in the middle was the one that warranted her attention, the woman jerking somewhat in her sleep, barely muttering something under her breath in her sleep. Her eyes darting back and forth under her eyelids in her sleep. Jersey offered a quiet sigh.

Mo.

Quietly approaching the right side of the bed, careful not to bump into anything that might alert her presence to the three sleeping battleships, she leaned over somewhat and turned on the bedside lamp there, filling the room with a soft light. Easing herself on the bed, she took a seat, swinging on her legs up on the bed as she removed her shoes. Tossing them to the side for a moment, she placed a gentle hand on Illinois's shoulder, gently jostling her, trying to stir her from her slumber.

After a few attempts, making sure not to jostle Missouri, the battleship currently laying on her side facing Illinois, asleep as Kentucky's arm wrapped around her older sister's middle, Illinois eventually began to stir somewhat.  Almost jolting at the sudden contact that was now registering to her, she whipped around to try and bat whoever it was away. Only to meet eyes with Jersey.

The younger Iowa froze.

"J-Jersey?" Illinois asked, her tone clearly showing that even she didn't really believe what she was looking at. Jersey offered a brief chuckle in return before she nodded, her crimson gaze softening somewhat as she did so.

"It's me, Illy, I promise you-" she said, but she was cut off. In the time she'd tried to speak to her sister, the battleship had already fully turned and all but thrown her arms around Jersey. Jersey blinking in surprise a moment before returning the gesture, one arm around the woman's back and the other around her neck, hugging her sister to her. "It's so good to finally meet you, Illy." Jersey whispered.

Illinois didn't offer reply, instead electing to hug Jersey that much harder.

Jersey offered a quiet chuckle at that somewhat, stroking Illinois's hair a moment before pulling away. "I don't suppose I could Nab your spot for a few moments? It'll be a lot easier on Mo if she doesn't have to get up." She said, gesturing to the bed. Illinois offered a small smile at that as she nodded, moving herself from her spot slowly and quietly so that Jersey could move in. And move in she did so, slowly taking Illinois's former position. Settling in, she hooked her right arm under Mo's side. Taking a moment, looking on at Mo as she slept, Jersey eventually offered a small sigh.

"Missouri." She tried quietly. But Mo didn't even seem to notice, only shifting in her sleep somewhat. Jersey waited a moment before trying again.

"Missouri." She tried again, her eyes unmoving from her younger sister. But once again, Mo offered no signs of waking up. Sighing somewhat, Jersey rolled her eyes. "Wake up ya fucking movie star." She said, not really thinking about it. But Jersey was presented with actual reward as Missouri made a noise of waking as she readjusted somewhat, her chocolate eyes slowly cracking open. They met Jersey's crimson a moment, amidst the low light of the room. And Jersey only offered a small smile as she met gazes with Mo.

Mo stared in an exhaustion filled haze a moment.

"Hey Movie Star." Jersey offered in greeting, coupled with a soft smile.

Mo stared a moment longer in her exhausted state all before her eyes seemed to snap wide, the battleship all but lunging for her older sister. But given that Jersey was already practically in front of her, it was only on J's quick reflexes that their foreheads didn't collide as Missouri all but attacked her older sister in a hug. Jersey laughed despite herself and despite the sound of her bones creaking within her from the horsepower being exerted on them from the hug that would've killed anyone else.

"I heard I worried you a little bit." Jersey got out as her younger sister hugged her tightly. And immediately, Jersey recoiled as her sister punched her in the stomach, causing Jersey to laugh some more. At the movement however, Kentucky began to slowly awaken at that, her eyes meeting Jersey's first. The oldest of the four offered a quiet smile to the youngest of their class before chuckling somewhat. "I'm surprised Mo. You haven't even started-"

A quiet, choked sob cut through the air as Mo clung to Jersey. The second of the Iowa class held her tongue at this, sparing only a light chuckle.

"Ah. Guess I spoke too soon."
