Meeting Sisters

Arizona gave a yawn, covering her mouth with a hand as the group of five walked on. Now sorted in as well, however, was the new group of summons. Hearing Dionysus and Akashi trailing directly behind her and Oklahoma only cemented this fact.

"So... we do have an Admiral on base somewhere? Yes?" Dionysus asked, bringing Arizona out of her thoughts. The battleship nodded as she looked over her shoulder at the repair ship.

"Yeah. An Admiral and a Captain." She replied. "Admiral Anya Johnson and Capatain Sofia Algerona." Arizona answered. Dionysus looked surprised.

"Women...? Guess what the Admiral said really was true. This really is a new century." She chuckled. Arizona nodded.

"For better sense of that, the Admiral's mother is a General in the Air Force." Arizona replied. Dionysus looked surprised at this before nodding somewhat at the news. But before she could push further on in terms of finding out how things had changed since her time, Akashi spoke up.

"Dionysus, I don't mean disrespect, but what class were you apart of? You didn't name it when you were questioned by Ishigara." She said, looking to her fellow repair ship. The woman nodded at that.

"I guess I didn't. I'm apart of the Xanthus class..." Dionysus said, nodding to the woman. Akashi raised a brow in a skeptical manner.

"That doesn't sound like a real thing..." Akashi said as she began to poke fun at the class name of her fellow repair ship. Despite the repair ship's older appearance and apparent personality that went with said appearance, she began to become flustered.

"W-well what kind of name is Akashi!?" Dionysus demanded, looking at the repair ship indignantly. Akashi arched a brow, stifling a chuckle as she held a hand over her mouth.

"Oh? It seems Dio has a sensitive spot." Akashi replied quietly. Quiet being relative as she made sure that the woman could hear her. Dionysus only sunk further as she became more and more flustered, this time in addition to the apparent nickname that Akashi had suddenly laid upon her shoulders.

"W-what kind of shitty nickname is that!?" Dionysus demanded, throwing her arms in the air as she looked to the woman. Akashi blinked, feigning innocence.

"What ever are you talking about? Someone help! This old repair ship is accusing me of slander!" Akashi called faintly. Dionysus only huffed in response as Akashi gave her a friendly smile in turn.

"You seem to be in high spirits about this whole thing." Oklahoma said, looking to Akashi. "Your fellow ship girls were not so keen on the idea of us being on their soil at first." She reasoned. Akashi arched a brow at that.

"If you're referring to the fact that I seem to be having fun poking at an American Repair Ship instead of hating her, that's because I am. Look, I met my fate at the hands of Task Force Fifty Eight. More planes than I can count all balled up on me and put me out to rest." She said, shrugging her shoulders. "So, coming back with the expectation that Japan and America were gearing up for a second round and finding out the exact opposite? It's like I can breathe again. I get to be on the side of the planes that sunk me, not against. And... it kind of helps that the two of you were some of the first ones that came to greet us." She said. The two battleships nodded at that as Arizona looked to the pink headed woman.

"Why would you think that Japan and the U.S. we're getting ready for a second round?" She asked. Akashi shrugged as she looked at the battleship.

"What was the last Navy to get the US a run for it's money? And I mean a dead sprint, not just a jog." Akashi stated. Arizona and Oklahoma thought about the question a moment before Oklahoma nodded in acceptance.

"Ok. Fair enough. But that was only because we weren't sure what was going to happen. And, Navy wasn't what it was at the time of Pearl." Oklahoma said. Akashi nodded at that.

"Tell me about. Pearl went down and suddenly all your Ship yards didn't know how to stop making ships. Battleship over here, cruiser over there. Two carrier's right next to one another. Pearl was essentially the button we needed to push to deploy the wall of steel. Because that's all we got afterwards." Akashi said. Arizona nodded.

"That still doesn't explain why you thought America and Japan were gearing up for a second round. That's a pretty far stretched conclusion." She reasoned. Akashi shrugged, hand on her hip as she walked along.

"It was the only fathomable one I could think of. Certainly never would have guessed that I was called back to help repair to American submarines because they had their legs blown off by some demon from the ocean." Akashi replied. Arizona and Oklahoma nodded at that.

"Well, when you say it like that, it makes thinking another war was coming all the more logical." Dionysus said, having calmed down from Akashi's teasing, before looking to Arizona. "So what's the total force count come to now? How many girls?" She asked as the group walked up. Arizona quickly did the math.

"If I'm adding everything I know right now, total grouping comes to 104. 63 Japanese, 39 American, 1 German, and 1 French." The Pennsylvania Class said, looking back to the repair ship. Indicated Ship nodded at the answer as she thought about it.

"Hmmm... figured that the Americans would have more ships... don't they lead by example? That's still a thing right?" Akashi asked. Arizona nodded.

"The world didn't learn about the Ship Girls until Japan already had a full fleet of sixty. And even then, they showed up just in time to bail one of our wounded fleet's out of the fire." She replied. Akashi and Dionysus nodded at that. But before either one could say anything else, someone else began to match pace with the two Repair ships.

"Hallo." The greeting came. The four nodded as they looked back at the woman.

"Hello Tirpitz. So what's your opinion on being the only German on a base of American and Japanese?" Oklahoma asked, looking to the blonde. Tirpitz shrugged somewhat as she thought about the question.

"It's... odd to be sure. Although, Admiral... Ishigara? Yes, that's it. Admiral Ishigara says that I can expect an Admiral of my own near the New Year.... it could've been worse..." she said, stretching her arms as she looked to the others for a response.

"You mean like Strasbourg? Who's Navy has said nothing of when they expect to bring an Admiral here?" Arizona asked. Tirptiz nodded at that, glancing back at the French Battleship as she talked with Yamakaze, oblivious to the one watching her.

"Indeed." Tirptiz agreed as she looked back to the four. "So... where are we going now?" She asked. Arizona nodded. "We're gonna drop Akashi and Dionysus here off at the docks so they can help Harder and Pargo. After that, who knows. I'm probably going to be heading to be before too long here because I've been on open water for the last seven days." Arizona said.

"I second that idea." Oklahoma replied. Arizona nodded simply as she took another look to Tirpitz before chuckling somewhat, not going unnoticed by the battleship.

"Iz there something amusing?" She asked, her German accent still fresh to Arizona's ears. The dreadnaught nodded as she looked at the girl.

"It's nothing... we'll have to show you later. Think you might enjoy it." Arizona said. Tirptiz only arched a brow at this before she was tackled from behind, easily supporting the weight of her person now hanging onto her back.

"Ha! Got you now kraut. Fear the power of American Steel!" Hoel shouted. Arizona and Oklahoma looked mortified at the destroyer's actions. Tirptiz however looked completely indifferent to the destroyer trying to bring her to the ground. And based on how easily she continued to walk forward, it could be guessed that Tirptiz didn't even notice.

"Hoel!" Arizona roared. "Get off of her!" She ordered, preparing to move to extricate the girl from the battleship. To her surprise however, Tirptiz put a hand up to stop the American as Hoel continued to clamber up the woman. Eventually, Hoel found a place sitting upon Tirptiz's shoulders, looking around once again. Smiling, the Bismarck class looked back to Arizona.

"I could tell she wasn't up to anything real bad by the way she latched on. She wasn't trying to go for cheap shots. Felt like she was trying to get a grip.... doesn't make her any less heavy though..." she chuckled. Hoel scowled at the top of Tirpitz's head.

"Hey!" Hoel cried indignantly. "I'm a Fletcher! I don't weigh that much! You weigh at least five times I do." She said. Tirptiz shrugged as she preceded to hold Hoel's legs so that the destroyer wouldn't slip off.

Despite being a battleship, and a powerful one at that, Tirpitz was only an inch or two taller than Arizona and Oklahoma. But this was all she needed to make Hoel taller than the two.

"Fine... alright... but Hoel, don't go around doing that to every Ship girl you meet. Some of them may not enjoy it." Arizona reprimanded the girl. Hoel nodded subconsciously as the group continued to walk on.

"Just wish some of my sisters were on base..." Hoel muttered. Oklahoma looked to the destroyer atop the German girl.

"What about St. Lo and Kitkun Bay?" The Battleship asked. Hoel looked surprised at the names as she stared back at Oklahoma.

"T-they're here...?" Hoel asked, as if unsure that she had heard the battleship correctly. Oklahoma nodded.

"They should be with the other carrier's in the Carrier range right now." Oklahoma said. "They came in the second group of American Kanmusu." She said as they neared the docks. Hoel nodded at this, taking the info in as Tirptiz looked up at the destroyer for a moment, arching a brow.

As they did so, Ishigara and the rest caught up with them. Gesturing for them to stop, Ishigara gave the next round of orders.

"If you all would stay out here for the moment, I'll take Akashi and Dionysus inside. Hopefully Admiral Johnson will be inclined to come out once she knows Pargo and Snook are in good hands." He said. The group of Kanmusu nodded as the two repair ships apart of the grouping stepped forward, looking to Ishigara in return.

Nodding, he gestured for the two of them to follow him as he quietly made his way into the docks, not needing to look back to see if the two ships were following. He could hear their footsteps trailing behind him.

Stepping through the divider separating the changing room and the docks, the man stepped into the cool air of the docks. On the left, once again at the very end of the way, there were the two injured subs. Joining them to the sides of their docks to keep them company were the three Atlanta sisters. Sitting on the tile, they seemed to be talking with the two.

Along with the three, Harder was present. Keeping an eye on her two sisters, she didn't say much.

The Shiratsuyu sisters didn't seem to be present. Ishigara suspected that Shigure and Harusame had dragged Yuudachi away so they could get some much needed rest.

The North Carolina sisters were no longer present either, presumably having gone with Liz who was no longer present either.

However, a change in the ranks was the presence of Captain Algerona, dressed in NWU's as she stood next to a sitting Admiral Johnson, sitting crisscross in the front of Pargo's dock, seeming to be playing a card game with the Sub.

But the evaluations ended when Pargo spotted the three, waving wildly, bringing their presence to the attention of the others.

Chuckling, Ishigara nodded, walking for the grouping, still being flanked by the two repair ships who were watching the on going's quietly.

"I'm assuming Liz left when I left for the summoning?" He asked as he approached. Anya nodded as she stood, hand on her hip as she did so.

"Mhm. She sped over to Mess a few moments after you left. Took North and Wash with her." She said. "The Battleships seemed to be interested in learning how to cook and Liz seemed eager to spread her knowledge." She explained. Ishigara nodded at that as he looked to the Captain.

"Things are still running smoothly?" He asked. Sofia nodded for the most part.

"There was somewhat of a scuffle between Murakumo and Hatsuharu over some disagreement. Luckily, I had Indiana and Yamato on hand to assist with that. For the most part, Mutsu's been handling what paperwork finds its way to your desk and Langley was more than willing to give a hand where it was needed. But enough of that. Who might these two be?" She asked, nodding to the repair ships behind him. Ishigara nodded as he stepped out of the way as he gestured to the two.

"This is AR-21, Repair Ship U.S.S. Dionysus. And to her side is the Japanese Repair Ship Akashi. I've brought them here for... obvious reasons..." he said as the two nodded. But the group's eyes were already more than wide enough to show their surprise.

"Another Japanese Ship girl? But I thought sixty was the limit...." Juneau said, watching Akashi with a sense of curiosity. Ishigara chuckled somewhat.

"Trust me, Akashi here is the least of the worries about the most recent summoning.... honestly, the two of you should have been there as well to see it for your own eyes." He said, looking to Anya and Sofia. Brows arched, Anya chuckled as she looked to Akashi and Dionysus.

"Well... it's good to meet the two of you. Dionysus, I'm your Admiral, Anya S. Johnson, Vice Admiral of the United States Navy. To my side here is Captain Sofia I. Algerona." She said, holding a hand out for the Ship girl. Dionysus nodded, shaking the hand in return.

"Glad to be here Admiral. I can see I'm needed already." She said, glancing down at the two subs, who only grinned back. Anya nodded, taking her own glance back at the subs.

"Indeed. I apologize, but I deemed staying with the two of them more important at the time..." she said, her voice lowering somewhat. Dionysus only nodded.

"I would've done the same. But if you do not mind Admiral, I believe Akashi and myself can handle things here for the remainder. And something tells me that they're going to need all attention focused else where." Dionysus said, Akashi nodding as she did so.

Anya nodded somewhat, turning to look at the two subs. "You gonna behave if I leave the two of you for them to repair your legs?" She asked. The two subs nodded at that, gesturing for Anya to go.

"Yes, yes. We will be fine Admiral. Go." Pargo said in her most convincing tone. Anya arched a brow at that as Akashi settled to the side of the dock, having her shoes off as she stuck her legs in the dock water along with Pargo. And immediately, as if sensing there was a repair ship present, miniature cranes popped up on the side of the dock as an army of fairies suddenly appeared out of no where, lining the sides of the slot. As the cranes extended and deployed, bringing the stumps of Pargo's legs up to the surface, Dionysus settled off to the side of Snook's dock.

Watching as Pargo's legs were brought up and planted firmly in a stationary position, gangplanks extended from the docks to her legs, giving way for Akashi's fairies to walk across to greet Pargo's own crew.

For Akashi's credit, she went from looking around to being focused completely on the process, watching as the two crew's met. Seeming to exchange some words and plans, two pairs of Akashi's fairies made way for the stumps, armed with miniature blow torches and welding masks. Seeing where this was going, Anya nodded.

"Alright. We'll leave these two in your care." Anya said, placing a hand on Akashi's shoulder. The Repair ship only nodded, still dead focused on her new patient, Pargo, who was now staring with wide eyes as the fairies near the stumps of her legs as they fired up their blow torches. Giving one last look to Pargo to reassure the girl, Anya began to follow Ishigara out of the docks, followed by Sofia and the Atlanta sisters.

Soon enough, they arrived in the changing room. Nodding to Ishigara, she looked to a locker.

"Arizona will have my head if I go out there dressed like that. And then Langley will have it on a pike for all to see." She said. Ishigara nodded at that, leaving the room. The Atlanta Class neared the door before stopping and looking back to Anya. The Admiral nodded to the three.

"If you ladies would watch the door for a certain Colorado class Battleship, I'd be grateful." She said. The three Atlanta Class sisters nodded, needing no other explanation as they went to guarding the entrance to the changing room.

Exactly five minutes later, Anya tapped Atlanta on the shoulder. Dressed in her NWU's once again, she nodded to the lead sister.

The five stepped out into the daylight, the cool air brushing over them before Anya and Sofia registering the group in front of them, the Atlanta sisters doing the same a few seconds later. Studying the group, Anya took a step towards them before noticing differences in some of the outfits.

Before any of the five could ask on the difference, Ishigara chuckled at the expressions as he nodded to the group.

"Allow me to introduce them. It's quite the grouping. You already met Akashi and Dionysus. Along with them are the Japanese destroyer, Yamakaze. The Japanese food ship Irako. The American Cargo Ship U.S.S. Yancey. The American destroyer U.S.S. Hoel. The woman Hoel is sitting on the shoulders of is the German Battleship Tirptiz. And then we have the French Battleship Strasbourg." He said as he gestured to each one. Anya and Sofia blinked collectively at the various international names as the three Atlanta sisters had expressions of their own.

Atlanta had her eyes narrowed in suspicion. Juneau was watching with a sense of curiosity. And San Diego was staring at Tirptiz like she had finally met a god. Maybe her 100% win rate she held with Tirptiz on Warships was a good reason for that.

Anya shook herself out of her surprise as she looked around the group again before focusing on Hoel to begin with.

"Was wondering when we were going to start getting some of the fearless destroyers of Taffy 3. Your jeep carriers have been waiting patiently." She said as she looked up at the destroyer. Hoel nodded, giving a smile back to her Admiral.

"So I've been told... I'm assuming you must be my Admiral?" She asked. Anya nodded.

"I am Vice Admiral Anya S. Johnson.." she introduced herself. Sofia nodded at that.

"And I am Captain Sofia I. Algerona." She introduced. Anya nodded at that as she looked to Yancey.

"I can't say I was quite expecting to receive a Cargo Ship though..." she said after a moment. "But you're already here and I'm never in the mood to turn away any possible help. Yancey right?" She asked. Yancey nodded.

"Yep. Here to help however I can." Yancey replied in turn. Anya nodded at that, looking the woman up and down for a moment before giving another smile. After she had done so, her gaze traveled to Irako and Yamakaze.

The Shiratsuyu class flinched at the gaze now directed to her, hid somewhat behind Strasbourg's skirt. Chuckling, Anya nodded as she looked to the French Battleship in question.

"Now I can't say I was expecting or Tirptiz really at all..." she chuckled. "I don't think any of us were if truth be told..." she said. Strasbourg nodded at that, stifling what sounded like a giggle.

"Zat is quite true commandant. But, in zat case, how could you truly see someone of my own country answering ze call for another country? One such as your own?" She asked. Anya nodded at that in turn.

"Fair enough. And I guess that's a point we should've considered. But if we do have the ability to bring through ships of someone else's design, even if not intentionally, I hope it halts with the two of you for the moment. We've got a lot of stuff we need to get done, and although I'm glad the two of you could join us, we don't need to over cram the base if we can prevent it." She said. "But even this, we are more than happy to provide whatever hospitality we can to the two of you until we can figure out what the next steps we should take are."

"Is ze plan not for myself to join your fleet?" Strasbourg asked. Anya shrugged as she looked to the battleship.

"I don't know. As much as I would love to get the two of you right out onto the water and into the thick of it, ultimately, its up to your Navies. They may want you to go back to your respective countries and work there for a while before coming back out here. We have to bring them into the fold so they know what's up. We can't just keep them in dark now that they have a presence on Yokosuka, even if they aren't aware of it." The Admiral replied, giving a glance to Tirptiz as she did so.

"Ja. So how vill we being contacting our navies? That will take some time, yes?" Tirptiz asked as she neared Anya, Hoel still on her shoulders. Anya shrugged.

"It should only be a while. Assuming Hayfield can set up the calls, we can get through to them rather easily. But that's a deal for a later time. Right now, we need to get everyone settled into base. And Liz needs to know that adding some German and French foods to today's menu couldn't hurt." She reasoned. Sofia nodded at that.

"I'll head over to mess, let Liz know that we got more than we bargained for." She said. Anya nodded at that as she then looked to Arizona and Oklahoma.

"The two of you are to report to your beds and get some shuteye. And don't try to say anything in return because Oklahoma's been rocking on her heels since I've been out here just to stay awake. We'll send someone to get you tonight for dinner." Anya said. The two battleships sent up lazy salutes before turning and leaving, their only destination in mind being their waiting beds.

"If you don't mind, we'll join the Captain." Ise said as she gestured to herself and Hyuuga. "See if we can help out in the kitchen." She said. Anya nodded Ishigara looked to Strasbourg and Tirptiz.

"And the two of you? What do you wish to do?" He asked. Tirptiz and Strasbourg thought about it a moment before Tirptiz looked up to Hoel and Stras down to Yamakaze.

"I'll go where my escort goes." Strasbourg said, stepping behind Yamakaze. The timid destroyer looked surprised before looking to Ishigara in a confident manner. Tirptiz nodded the same as she looked to Anya along with Hoel.

Anya nodded at as Ishigara spoke.

"Well, if everyone knows where they're going, then I'll take Yamakaze, Irako, and Yancey. Yamakaze's sisters went back to the dorm to rest and Mamiya's is on the way. So I'll take those three and Strasbourg and head that way." He said. Anya nodded at that.

"Then I'll take Hoel to the carrier range so she can reunite with Kit and Lo, and then I'll show Atlanta, Juneau, and Sandy their surprise." She said, not mentioning the surprised expressions that suddenly overcame the three sisters. Ishigara nodded at that.

"Everything's decided then. Shall we ladies?" He asked, looking to his four charges. They nodded and began to follow as Ishigara began to walk away. Anya only did the same, gesturing for the four to follow after her as well, Hoel watching from Tirptiz's shoulders as they walked on.

As they walked on, Anya watched Tirptiz for a moment, as if unsure if she should speak about what she had planned to. But as if sensing the woman's hesitation, the German Battleship looked to the American Admiral, a brow raised as she did so.

"Ja fraülein? Is there something on your mind?" She asked. Anya looked surprised for a brief moment before nodding, looking at the battleship head on.

"Tirptiz, yours and Strasbourg's presence brings a new set of challenges. One of those being the grudges that popped up on both sides when Germany invaded and captured Paris, taking the country effectively out of World War II. I need to know that this isn't going to effect your ability to work alongside in some capacity. And if it does, I ask that you don't aim to harm her." She said. Tirptiz only gave a dry chuckle at that.

"I will not sugar coat the idea in any sort of way. I do not like her... and preferably, would not like to be anywhere near her. And I'm sure the feeling is mutual. But if what you say is true, and these... Abyssals.... truly threaten both France and Germany like you claim they do... then I will work alongside her in some capacity so that we may overcome this threat... even if I do not prefer it." She said. Anya nodded in relief at that.

"Well, that makes me feel somewhat better. Can I ask the same if we happen to somehow pull a British Ship Girl through?" She asked, arching a brow at the battleship.  Tirptiz looked at the Admiral with a glare that could cut steel in two. Anya chuckled somewhat as she put her hands up in mock surrender. "Fair enough." She said as Tirptiz rolled her eyes as they walked along.

"Hey there. Don't you threaten my Admiral or I'll have to hurt you." Hoel said as she patted Tirptiz on the head. The battleship only chuckled as she nodded, serving to amuse the destroyer atop her shoulders as she did so.

"Damit, how many carriers are on base of American and Japanese making?" Tirptiz asked as she looked to the Admiral. Anya nodded.

"Twenty five. Fourteen Japanese. Eleven American. At moment..... they should all be within the carrier range. Why do you ask?" Anya replied. Tirptiz shrugged.

"We are heading for the carrier range. Figured I might know what I'm about to walk into." She said. Anya nodded at that as she looked back to the three light cruisers behind them.

"You three still awake over there?" Anya asked. Atlanta nodded as she looked back at her Admiral as her sisters followed along behind her.

"Yeah, we're fine Admiral. Just wondering why you needed the three of us to tag along. I mean, yeah, Tirptiz is German. But is that a reason to drag us along as well?" Atlanta asked. Anya only chuckled at that.

"I mean, you have a point. But I think that's best saved for later. Right now, we head for the carrier range." She said. Atlanta only huffed in response as she nodded, following along as she and her sisters enveloped themselves within their own conversation. As they did so, Anya and Tirptiz neared the carrier range, already hearing voices within.

Looking to Anya, Tirptiz and Hoel waited for a sign of some kind. Anya in return gestured for the two to go on, she herself following behind as Tirptiz moved the destroyer from her shoulders.

As soon as Hoel's feet touched the ground, she charged forward, fearing nothing as she made full flank speed for the door to the range. Fitting, considering the last battle of her past life.

Anya only chuckled as she and Tirptiz followed along after the Fletcher. Taking a moment to watch as Atlanta and her sisters took seats outside of the range, the Admiral lead the way for herself and Tirptiz into the range, where they found Hoel in a staring match with every carrier on base, Japanese and American alike.

The silence was palpable, twenty five pairs of eyes focused on the smaller girl. All the way until Anya's presence seemed to register to Houshou and Langley.

"Admiral? Who might this one be? Another American ship girl?" Houshou asked. Anya nodded, placing a hand on Hoel's head as noticed the destroyer looking about the various carriers rapidly, no doubt trying to pick out who was who. Shaking her head in amusement, Anya looked to the three escort carriers sitting with Kaga.

"Lo. Kit. Front and center please." Anya said, looking to the two. Looking back at their Admiral in a surprised motion, they nodded as they stood. Brushing themselves off for a moment, the now stood in front of Anya as they peered up at the woman they knew as Admiral, their size seeming to surprise even Hoel. The destroyer blinked before looking back to Anya to confirm it. Anya nodded with a slight laugh as she looked to the two escort carriers.

"Kit. Lo. Say hello to the former USS Hoel. Hoel, say hello to Kit and Lo. Again..." she said, watching the three with avid attention. But the two escort carriers standing needed no further introduction. They knew who was standing in front of them. They knew who it was. That meant there was only one thing left to do.

Lo acted first.

"HOEL!" St. Lo screamed as her lungs suddenly pumped an inhuman amount of oxygen through her tiny lungs as she jumped the destroyer, an action that seemed to take Hoel by surprise, the only thing keeping her upright was the fact that she was leaning against a collective of Anya and Tirptiz. Kit joined a few seconds later, joining her sister as Hoel struggled to hold the two upright within her grasp. But her expression quickly changed from surprised to joyful as she hugged the two carriers to her, prompting the two smaller girls to break out into mad giggles.

Watching the three with a newfound sense of amusement, Anya only chuckled as the three continued to reunite. As they did so however, Zuikaku approached the other blonde standing behind the three, not having been able to recognize who she was.

"And who might you be? You're not even wearing American colors." The carrier surmised. Tirptiz looked at her in mock surprise before glancing down at her outfit before back up at the carrier.

"Faszinierende entdeckung." Tirptiz said, chuckling as she looked at the carrier. "That may have to do with the fact that I am not nor have I ever been American." She said, now gathering some attention from the other carriers in the room.

"Wait wait wait. That's a German accent. An authentic one too. There ain't no faking that kind of language." Cabot said, looking at the battleship. Some of the carriers shot sidelong glances to the light carrier as the others looked to Tirptiz to confirm what had been pointed out.

"And so it is. I am the German Battleship Tirptiz, Second of the Bismarck class." She said with a short bow. Eyes widened all over the room as the words were spoke, the second she had revealed her country of origin. And of course, some of the girls were more than happy to redirect their surprise onto the Admiral present.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Saratoga was the first to make her concerns known. "You bring through a kraut? But not another of us? Admiral! I thought you were on our side! I'm still waiting on Lexington to show up!" Saratoga demanded, throwing her hands up in the air as she looked to the woman for an explanation. Enterprise, Lexington, and Jun'you looked at the carrier with a deadpanned expression, rolling their eyes before Enterprise looked to Anya.

"I am rather curious.... how did you manage to bring through Tirptiz? Unless you're a German spy and we've been coming through because of the Captain this whole time." Enterprise suggested cryptically.

"Ohhhhh! The spy has been revealed! Execute her!" Lexington offered from the back wall unhelpfully. Anya rolled her eyes as Zuihou and Ryuujou broke out into laughter at the random outburst.

"I can assure you that I am not a German posing as an American. I can assure you that I am one hundred percent American." Anya said, looking to Enterprise before shrugging her shoulders. "Anyways, I couldn't tell you why Tirptiz came through. But she isn't the only odd thing about this summoning. We got three Americans, 1 German, 1 French, and 3 more Japanese ship girls. In all, we got two destroyers including Hoel, two battleships, two support ships, and two repair ships." She said. But all eyes of the Japanese were focused on the Admiral with absolute attention, looking at her with a sense of seriousness their American counterparts had yet to witness.

"Admiral Johnson, if you would not mind, who did our country receive?" Houshou asked, looking at the woman.

"Yamakaze, a sister of the Shiratsuyu sisters. Irako, another of your food ships. And Akashi, a repair ship. She and Dionysus, the American repair ship, are with the Gato sisters at the moment." She said, looking back at Houshou. The motherly carrier nodded somewhat at that as the other Japanese carriers watched Anya continually.

As this was going on, Tirptiz noticed one of the carriers watching her from the side. Glancing at Anya, Tirptiz stepped towards the carrier, making her way for the smaller girl.

"You seemed rather interested in me over there. What might your name be, kleine?" She asked as she stopped in front of the carrier. Bismarck Sea narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"My name isn't Klein! It's Bismarck!" The escort carrier said indignantly. Tirptiz arched a brow as she crouched down in front the girl, shaking her head.

"Kleine isn't a name. It means small, or little one. Such as you. But you say your name is Bismarck?" Tirptiz asked for clarification. The carrier nodded.

"Mhm. Well... my actual name is Bismarck Sea. But everyone just calls me Bismarck for short." She said, peering back at the Battleship that was easily thrice her size. Tirptiz chuckled.

"Well... Bismarck, tell you what. You're Bismarck and I'm Tirptiz. Technically, you're my older sister." She said, shrugging. Bismarck blinked before giggling.

"You're silly. I'm not a battleship." Bismarck said. Tirptiz rolled her eyes as she waved a dismissive hand at the carrier as she sat next to the girl.

"That's quitter talk if I've ever heard it. You're not going to be a very good big sister with that kind of attitude." Tirptiz said as looked at the carrier. Bismarck Sea only giggled in response, electing an amused chuckle from the German Battleship. "Okay... maybe honorary sister is a better title. At least until Bismarck actually finds her way here... but she won't be as cuddly as you are." Tirptiz chuckled as she pulled the escort carrier onto her lap, hugging the smaller form to her body. Bismarck only giggled further.

Anya watched this occur in her peripheral before turning her attention back to the mob of carriers, half who didn't know what to think of being in the presence of a German Battleship, and the other half trying to figure out why now they'd get more Japanese girls.

"Wait... so does that mean our limit is gone?" Zuihou asked, looking to Anya. The Admiral shook her head, looking back at the girl.

"No. From what Ishigara said, it sounds more like the Gateway reorganized. Formed new half sections. One for Repair ships, one for supply ships, and one for random. Explains Tirptiz here. And in creating the supply ship, it moved Mamiya, giving way for Yamakaze to cross over." She said. "In no way does this mean the limit is gone. But it does mean that there is hope for increasing it... although... I am curious. For the most part, besides Jun'you, all of your sisters are present. What would more of your own country's Ship Girls
Mean to you? And don't bite my head off. I'm just asking." She said. Some of the near Japanese Ship Girls shrugged.

"Well...." Shouhou began. "It would mean that we're not grabbing at an enemy with limited resources. For even if one of us were to fall, there would always be more ready to pick up where we left off." She said. Anya nodded somewhat at that.

"That's... somewhat of a dark way to look at it." She said after a moment. Kaga looked to the Admiral, now standing behind the three newly reunited task force members.

"War is a dark subject, Anya-San. Our country is no fool to this aspect as are many others. You can paint it in as many colors as you want. But at the end of the day, everything is painted over it with red. Of friends. Enemies. Innocents. War is all encompassing and you have to be delusional to believe any one person is safe from such a problem." She said. Anya nodded at that.

"You're not wrong, in some areas more than others. But I didn't come here to get philosophical with you girls. Came to let Hoel meet Kit and Lo again." She said. Some of them nodded at that as Akagi looked to Anya.

"What force were they apart of?" She asked.

"Task Force 3. Or for short, Taffy 3. Of course, they're only a small portion of the force and I'm sure they're anxiously waiting for the other members to coke through the Gateway." Anya said as she looked to the three. The two escort carriers looked up at their Admiral with brief nods before once again burying their faces in their destroyer's stomach, causing Hoel to chuckle as she refused to let go of the two. As she did so, she looked to E and Akagi.

"So....." she trailed off, looking to the two. The two carrier's only chuckled as they looked back at the woman.

"We've not decided on anything yet. They know though. Lex about had a cow." Enterprise said. Lexington rolled her eyes.

"That's because the two of you were sucking face when I walked in for the first time being here in over a week. It's a honest reaction for anyone." She huffed. E only chuckled as Akagi wrapped a slender arm around E's waist.

"And are the two of you enjoying yourselves? Keeping everything PG I hope?" Anya asked in a jokingly manner.

"Admiral!" Enterprise cried, a light blush dusting the carrier's cheeks. Anya only chuckled.

"Kidding." She mused. Souryuu only chuckled at that as she placed an arm on Anya's shoulder, leaning against the woman as she looked to her.

"So... let's do a tally count here. Enterprise and Akagi. Arizona and Haruna. Langley and Houshou. And some others that are in the starting points.... but here's the real question. When can we expect to add Anya and Maryland to the list of couples on base?" She asked, a cheeky grin on her lips. Anya rolled her eyes as she looked at the carrier.

"You can't. And won't. I'm not going to start dating Maryland just to sate your needs. What? Is there some kind of betting pool going on this?" She asked. Souryuu suddenly started whistling, nonchalantly walking away from Anya as some of the other nearby carriers, Enterprise and Akagi included, slowly began to back away from the Admiral. Anya glared at the carriers in response to this, shaking her head in a huff. "Of course there is..." she said. Shokaku chuckled weakly.

"To be fair..... Langley and Arizona have the largest bets placed...." she said. Anya shot a glare to her secretary Ship, who only shrugged.

"I would never Admiral. You have my word." She said, nodding to the woman. Anya only continued to glare at the woman as she turned and faced the door. As she did so, she looked to Hoel and Tirptiz.

"You two gonna be alright here if I duck out? I still have to show the Atlanta sisters their surprise." She said. Tirptiz and Hoel simply nodded in response before turning their attention back to their newly made friends.

Nodding, Anya stepped out of the range, finding the three Atlanta sisters still standing about outside, leaning against the wall. Waiting a moment, the Admiral began to approach the three, the light cruisers immediately noticing her approach. Looking to Anya, San Diego tilted her head.

"So where to now, Admiral?" San Diego asked. Anya nodded as she gestured in the direction of the American dorms.

"Back to the dorms. Your surprise is waiting for you at the Basketball court." She said in a simple manner as she began to walk. Atlanta blinked at that as Sandy and June traded a quick glance with one another before quickly catching up to Anya. As they did so, their Admiral looked to the three.

"So how was the Sortie? I can barely wait to hear about it." She said. Atlanta chuckled somewhat.

"Well... that's certainly something. The Sortie was...... interesting to say the least. Learned that the Abyssals can diversify their forces somewhat...." she said after a moment. The Admiral gave Atlanta a glance at her vague explanation before shrugging.

"Well, I'll get the full details later. Right now, you three need to have your minds off the mission and on your surprise." She chuckled somewhat. Atlanta only looked at the Admiral in a strange way as Sandy and June went on high alert, watching for anything that could qualify as a surprise. And as they walked on, nearing the group of American dorm buildings, they had yet to find anything even resembling a surprise.

Passing the HQ building, walking into the courtyard that sat in the middle of the four dorm buildings, Atlanta could now faintly hear a voice. And as they walked on, the voice registered to Sandy and June as well. The Admiral leading them stayed quiet, keeping an eye on the three as they crossed the courtyard.

As they walked out of the courtyard, and rounded the farthest building from the HQ, they spied the basketball course. And on it, two figures who seemed to be in some sort of one on one game. Based on their yelling insults at one another and ragged movements, Anya guessed that the two had been at it for a while.

As the four walked towards the court, the three Atlanta sisters still looking for their surprise, Anya watched as one of the two took a shot, the ball going in with a swoosh.

"Home- 78. Away- 74." Came the voice of Sendai, Anya now recognizing her form on the other side of the court. With her were Naka and Jintsuu, apparently thinking that watching a game would be somewhat fun. And based on the fact that Naka was adorning full red, white, and blue, she seemed to be channeling her inner super fan.

Along with the three also registered Mississippi, Indiana, San Francisco, the Fubuki sisters, and Amatsukaze. All seemed to be invested in the game, having split off into what Anya figured were supporters for each team.

"Woah.... what's got them all riled up?" Juneau asked. Anya gestured to the game.

"I guess they're die-hard sports fans. More than I could have guessed..." she said as they neared the court. As they did so, Sandy was watching the figure playing as home team.

"Either way, those two certainly seem to be... well endowed." She chuckled with a laugh that made Anya's spine crawl. June nodded.

"My guess is Heavy cruisers. But Admiral, why is this our surprise?" She asked. Anya chuckled somewhat as she gestured for them to keep following her as she made her way onto the court, prompting Sendai to call a time out. In return, the two players looked to the Admiral for an explanation before they noticed the three joining her.

"Hey Admiral!" One of them yelled as the two approached. "Are they them?" She asked. Anya nodded as she gestured to Atlanta and her sisters.

"Mhm. This is CL's 51, 52, and 53. Atlanta, Juneau, and San Diego. They just got back from Sortie." She said. The two nodded as Sandy gave a smile to one of the two.

"Why hello there..." she chuckled. "And what might your name be? If you need some help finding your way around base, don't be afraid to ask..." she said, looking up at the girl. The one that she was so blatantly hitting on looked to Anya in surprise.

"They don't know yet?" She asked, somewhat amused as she kept Sandy at an arm's length. The Admiral shook her head.

"No." She answered. The woman nodded as she looked back to Sandy. But as she did so, the light cruiser noticed something.

"Hey! That's my shirt! You little thief, you can just raid someone's closet when you want to! You're stretching it out!" Sandy yelled. The woman looked surprised for a moment before chuckling, nodding as she looked to the girl.

"Well, typically, the way it goes is usually when a little sister takes something from an older sister's closet, it tends to fit rather well.... but here we are..." she chuckled. The three Atlanta Class sisters blinked at this.

"But... I don't see any more members of our class......" Atlanta said after a moment. The one that Sandy had not been hitting on laughed, quickly gesturing to herself and the other.

"It's us you dummies. We're your little sisters. I'm Reno and this is Oakland. CL's 96 and 95. Took a while, but still apart of the Atlanta Class." She laughed. The three only blinked again as they looked at the two clearly taller women before Oakland looked to Sandy.

"So... I don't know what the proper response is when your older sister flirts with you...." she said. Sandy broke out into a flustered expression, causing her now four sisters to break out into laughter.

"Admiral...." Sandy whined as she looked to Anya. "Why didn't you tell me..?" She demanded. The Admiral shrugged.

"Didn't think you'd try to get into her pants." She shrugged as she looked at the cruiser. This only caused more laughter from the four as Sandy collapsed to her knees.

"Why me...." she whined. Oakland only chuckled.

"Now we only need San Juan, Flint, and Tucson and we'll finally have all of us back together." She said. Atlanta nodded at that as she pulled Sandy off of the ground.

"Well... for the moment, the three of us are dead exhausted for the most part. So we're gonna go catch some sleep and we'll talk at dinner?" Atlanta asked, somewhat hoping they'd agree. Oakland and Reno nodded at that.

"That'll be fine. We have a game to finish anyways." She said. Atlanta nodded at that, giving the two a smile before she lead June and Sandy away, off the court and towards the dorm. Chuckling, Oakland and Reno nodded to Anya before heading back to the center of the court, looking to Sendai to end the time out.

With that, Anya made her way off of the court and back towards the Mess Hall. Things needed to get done and people needed to be made aware of what had happened. But for the moment, she needed something to eat.
