Learning Names

A/N: Heh. Sixty two introductions over two chapters, only seven of which have appearances recognized canonically by Kantai Collection.

Shoot me now.

Jk.

But for real, four chapters inside two weeks, 40000+ words.

I have no self control. That I am sure of.

Real talk though, whose your favorite character? I'm super curious about this. Maryland? Anya? Who would you say is the best one out of all of them?

Tell meh!

And one last thing. The stories about the Grand fleet, but at the end of the day, Anya is the main character. So as we go on and it starts getting a little too Anya-Centric for some, I'm sorry, but she's the main character.

Enjoy!

———————————

The four commanders watched as the new group of 42 grew closer and closer to the water's edge, some fists already clenched as the new summons eyed one another with malice.

"Captain, should we assist?" Australia asked as she looked back to the man. King held a moment before nodding.

"They're coming in factions. Previous Axis on left, allies on right. Don't let em meet in the middle." King said as he looked to the five. Australia nodded affirmatively at that as she turned, making way for the already assembled group of experienced ship girls to help where needed, the three cruisers following in her wake, Melbourne electing to stand back somewhat.

"Look at that. Brand new and already joining a fight." Shropshire says sarcastically as she and Australia step off towards Zuikaku, Akagi, Graf, And Admiral Hipper in an attempt to ward off those of the former Axis Navies while Canberra and Sydney step towards Maryland and E to try and corral those of the Allies side of thing.

"Here's hoping the Captain can get here soon." Enterprise muttered as she watched the two lead ships of the French column hit solid ground, followed by those of the British and American.

On the other side, Zuikaku and Akagi watched as the Japanese made landfall first, followed closely by the Germans and Italians.

"What are we thinkin? Cruisers? Battleships?" Sydney asked as she glanced to E and Mary.

"None of em look to be above a light cruiser." Maryland told her. "My guess is a couple of light cruisers and handfuls of destroyers from each country. Which is good, cause I don't really fancy being the only battleship in the middle of an all out brawl." She said.

"Yeah right." E, Admiral Hipper, and Zuikaku Reply in unison. Maryland scowled.

"I wasn't asking any of you." Maryland replied in turn, focusing her attention on those in front of her.

As the stand off continued, the fresh summons eyeing those apart of the wall, the four officers watched from a distance. "So... is this normal?" King asked as he glanced at the other three.

"We've had multi-national summonings before, but usually one country with trump the others. Such as the case that Admiral Johnson encountered by herself. American and Japanese were dominant there. They've never been equal like what we are seeing before us." Ishigara told him.

"So... what can we do?" King asked.

"We hope our girls can hold the peace with the fresh summons until Captain Algerona gets back with reinforcements. Three of these countries will be somewhat easy. But until we have someone representing the British, French, and Italians, it is likely those respective summons will not listen to us. Not when they have apparent enemies at their side." Saradia told him. "Admiral Johnson can tell you from experience that getting into a disagreement with a Ship girl can end very badly for you."

"Can confirm. Would not recommend." The blonde Admiral said in reply, not taking her eyes off of the group of new summons. By this point, those coming in off of the water were now standing around, some seeing they could get around the wall between them and at those on the other side. Any attempt made to get around the group separating them was quickly pushed away or foiled, but those watching knew that this could only last so long. After all, it was ten ship girls versus a staggering forty two. If the new summons were serious about going at it, the ten would only be able to minimize damage, not completely stop it.

"I don't know if this is entirely appropriate conversation given our current situation, but does anyone wager which country will see everything set in motion?" Saradia asked.

"I already walked in on a fight that the fletchers started. So I think I'm gonna buckle down and say American, biased as that may be." Anya supplied.

"As much as I may agree with Admiral Johnson, in this case, the British and French fleets are unknowns. Of course, Dreadnought and Argus are exceptions, given that they've come back with no grudges to be had." Ishigara supplied.

"I'm betting French." King offered.

"I'm gonna say Italian." Saradia Answered.

"ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY WAGERING ON THIS OVER THERE?!" Enterprise bellowed as she looked at the four. The four officers merely laughed at that as they watched the carrier stand off against three presumable light cruisers, British and French alike, as they attempted to get around her.

"You're doing great, hun!" Anya called back. Enterprise shot her a gesture with her hand, one that caused the American blonde to giggle somewhat at the sight of. Ishigara And Saradia chuckled as King crossed his arms.

"Great. How's it feel to be flipped off by the one and only Enterprise?" The Captain asked as he looked to the woman. Anya shrugged somewhat.

"Little disappointing honestly. Was expecting more freedom." The blonde replied. But as King had prepared to respond, hell broke loose before them. As one of the French ship girls attempted to move around Enterprise, a British and American girl shadowed her, hiding in one of E's blind spots. And by the time E had noticed it, it was already too late as they jumped one of the German ship girls present.

When Graf tried to turn and handle that problem, two of the Japanese destroyer slipped through the cracks in the wall, coming out on the other side, immediately jumping those in American blue, which was immediately responded in turn as those of the British and French turned to assist. So of course, Mary and Sydney went to try and keep them off of the two Japanese. And with two of the main defenses in the wall now missing or moved, it was an all outright brawl as the two groups descended on one another, enveloping both themselves and those trying to prevent it.

The four officers could only watch helplessly.

What could they do? Nothing, if the new girls weren't willing to listen.

They watched for a few minutes as the ten already summoned girls attempted to play damage control against a fleet numbering in at 42.

And then the front doors to the Summoning chambers opened behind them.

A plethora of footsteps began to echo through the chamber as the four officers turned to look at just who Sofia had nabbed as reinforcements. And found that they weren't exactly lacking.

Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ise, Hyuuga, Nagato, Mutsu, South Dakota, Indiana, Massachusetts, Kongou, Hiei, Haruna, Kirishima, Tosa, Ark Royal, Dreadnought, Strasbourg, Richelieu, And Pola were now making their way into the Summoning chambers, immediately heading for the group of new summons. Sofia rejoined The Officers as they watched the new group get right into the thick of things, pulling the girls off of one another as the fresh summons now found a blockade of battleships separating them.

At that, the five nodded as they began to step forwards.

"To the girls that just arrived in support, let's get those of the former Allied Navies off to the right with Johnson, King, And Algerona. And those of the former Axis over here with myself and Ishigara." Saradia called as she and the man began to walk to the other side of the summoning chambers. Nodding in agreement to the plan, The now combined force of 29 began to force the forty two apart, twenty one to the left and twenty one to the right, in some cases literally as South Dokota hefted what looked to be two British destroyers over her shoulders. Anya only chuckled somewhat as they watched the now superior dominant force mainly comprised of battleships force them in the directions they were asked. And as each group of twenty one was placed firmly in position on their opposing sides, those that had come in support formed a barrier around the new girls, so that they couldn't make another run one another.

Making sure things were settled for a moment, making sure the assembled makeshift barriers of girls were going to hold in corralling the new summons, the two Officers from the left side of the summoning chamber and the three from the left convened in the middle of the room, forming a small group as they did so.

"So? What's the plan here? We've got six countries but only three of them have Admirals here." King asked.

"Do you believe your group capable of handling those of the French for the time being?" Ishigara asked as he looked to Admiral Johnson, Algerona, And King.

Anya nodded. "We can handle em. I'm assuming you've got a plan?" She asked as she looked to the man. Ishigara nodded at that.

"What I am proposing is that we will take those of the Japanese, Italians, and Germans to the Mess Hall while your side takes those of the British, American, and French to the American HQ building. This isn't normally how we do things, I realize, but this situation's a little more special than we're used to and the longer they're in close proximity with one another, the more chance there is for another fight like the one we just put an end to." He offered. Sofia nodded.

"Plus, if we do end up with the same trend as we've been going and we intend to house the French girls in the Japanese dorms, Strasbourg and Richelieu are gonna need time to talk em down and convince them that things aren't like they were." Sofia said with a hand in point.

"Do we want to consider alternate lunches as well?" Anya asked as she looked to the group.

"Didn't you make the other summoning group all eat Pizza together?" King asked. Anya nodded.

"But I didn't have a whole lot of options that day." She said as she put her hands on her hips. "It was either they eat then or wait until dinner. And based on some of their stomachs, I'd say that wasn't gonna fly for more than half an hour." She replied. "I was the only one on base after all. This time, we have options." She said in response.

"Thought we may want to really consider looking at varying meal shifts. With the new summons, that puts us at over 200 girls. And that's without actually representation from the British and French Navies to act as Admirals." Sofia offered. "The Mess Hall is gonna need an expansion at this rate." She said.

"Something to consider for the future then I suppose." Ishigara offered in response to the statement. Sofia and Anya nodded as King glanced around at the two groups of ship girls, glaring at daggers through the spots in the barriers at each other.

"Well, if we wanna get this started, who wants to get out of here first." Sofia asked.

"We'll get going." Saradia told her before turning and making way back towards the group of ship girls, those already present before today looking at her expectantly. Waiting for Ishigara to join her, the two Admirals nodded to the girls.

"What are our orders Admiral?" Graf asked in a quiet tone as she looked to the woman. Saradia nodded.

"We're gonna lead these girls over to the Mess Hall so we can both learn names and put some room between us and the other group. Admiral Johnson, Captain Algerona, And Captain King will lead the other group to the American HQ to learn names there." Saradia told them as one. "We're gonna Head out First here in just a minute and make our way there so the group on the other side can head out as well." She explained. Those already present nodded at that as they stepped aside for a moment to allow Admiral Ishigara and Herkunft to address the new girls directly.

Waiting a moment for them to calm down somewhat, Saradia and Ishigara watched a moment before the man nodded. "I'm sure you all have many questions about your current situation and things close to that nature. And I assure you, we will answer all of them. But for right now, we're going to leave this place and head to another location on base so that we may discuss those things in peace. Because as current situations go, it is clear that many if not all are not very fond of our current situation." He explained to them.

"And why should we trust you any more than we trust them?" One of the girls asked, one adorning Italian colors it appeared to be. Saradia nodded.

"Because as far as we can assume, you all are coming off of grudges and feuds left over from your previous lives. I assure you, we mean you no harm here. My name is Saradia Herkunft of The now current day German Navy. To my right is Takeo Ishigara of the JMSDF, or the current Japanese Navy. Now unfortunately, we do not have Admiralty representation by Italy quite yet, but we do have Pola, already summoned." She said, gesturing to the heavy cruiser. "Anyways, let's get moving. Admiral Hipper? Mind leading the way?" She asked.

The heavy cruiser offered a nod at that and she began to make her way for the doors of the summoning chamber, the newly summoned girls slowly being nudged into following after her. Saradia and Ishigara made sure that they had everyone accounted for before tailing after them, leaving those of the previous Allied Navies behind them.

Letting the doors close behind them, Saradia and Ishigara followed the group from behind, the new summons looking around in some unease, which they supposed was a given.

The group eventually reached the Mess Hall after only a few detours of the new summons trying to wander off on their own. Normally, they'd be encouraged to explore the base like that, but right now, they needed names.

Ushering them into the building, Admiral Hipper lead the new girls to a few of the tables, electing to have them sit down there. Making sure that they did, the other assembled ship girls settled at surrounding tables as the two Officers approached the twenty one new summons. Easily enough, the new summons had sorted themselves by country as they seated themselves at three of the tables.

"Alright. Given that we do have leadership for both Germany and Japan on base, let us start with our new Italian Allies." Saradia said, Ishigara nodding in turn. At that, the German Admiral pointed to one of the larger two Italian girls as she leaned back, taking a seat on one of the tables. "We'll start with you if you do not mind." She said.

The girl adorning Italian colors blinked a moment before nodding somewhat. "Ah sì, certo..." she mumbled before looking at the two. "I am Eugenio di Savoia." She introduced herself, nodding her head as she did so. "A member of the proud Condottieri class of light cruisers of the Regia Marina." She introduced herself as she looked between the two of them.

Eugenio had dark brown hair, running to just below her neck. Her eyes were a dark brown as well, the cruiser glancing at the two officers before looking about at the other already present summons. And out of the six clearly larger classed girls of the new group, she looked to be the oldest in terms of physical appearance.

Saradia nodded at that, trying to memorize the name, given that for the time being, she was going to be in charge of her and the other six. Repeating her name a few times to herself, she eventually looked to the other of the two older looking Italian ship girls. "And your name?" She asked.

"Armando Diaz." Came the Reply. "Also of the Condottieri class of light cruisers." She said as she glanced to Eugenio. "Make no mistake however, we are of the same class of cruiser, but we are not sisters in the normal sense." The cruiser said. Saradia nodded at that as she looked to the two cruisers.

"So Eugenio di Savoia And Armando Diaz. Alright. I apologize if I do indeed messing up your names somewhat at first. I promise I will try to learn them properly." She told them before looking to the first of the five smaller Italians. "Alright. Which one of you wants to go first?" She asked. The presumable destroyers traded glances with one another for a moment before they looked to the one that was in the middle of them, the girl nodding a moment.

"I am Italian destroyer Alpino." The girl Answered her, placing a hand on her chest with a nod thrown in. "A member of the Soldati class of destroyer of the Regia Marina." She told her. But that warranted a sigh of irritation from one of the new Japanese summons.

"Yes, yes. We understand that you're Italian. You don't have to tell us what Navy you're from every time one of you opens your mouth!" She told with a wave of the arms. "It's a little repetitive." She said, clearly exasperated. The already present summons scowled somewhat at that as Alpino looked somewhat dejected at that, gazing at the floor. Eugenio And Armando scowled at the girl, going to stand in defense of their fellow Italian ship girl. But Ishigara raised a hand at that to halt them.

"We're Allies here. If they wish to introduce what Navy they represent, then that is their choice in the end." He told her. "And besides, it would be best to become comfortable with those present so that when the fleet comes in for lunch, so you do not feel so alone." Ishigara told her, gazing at the girl, the man standing next to Saradia.

The girl in Japanese colors went to say something, but when the Admiral's gaze didn't relent, she relented, now unwilling to meet his gaze, instead electing to stare down at the table before her. Offering only a sigh, Ishigara nodded for the Italian girls to continue.

After a moment of Armando and Eugenio telling Alpino in the quiet, the destroyer eventually lifted her head from her spot as the three of them looked to the next Italian destroyer.

"Soldati Class destroyer Artigliere." The girl said, forgoing the title of their navy for the moment. "Younger sister to Alpino." She said meekly as she glanced worriedly at her older sister. When Alpino didn't look at her, her eyes still glancing down at the table somewhat, it was Pola who stepped past the others as she came up behind the destroyer, crouching down to her as she rested a hand on Alpino's shoulder.

"Non sembrano ancora amici. Ma devi correre il rischio se vuoi essere veramente felice." Pola said as she looked at the destroyer, the heavy cruiser unwilling to look away until the younger girl met her eyes. Eventually though, the destroyer offered a nod at that as she looked up to Pola. Meeting her eyes, Pola smiled in response, placing a hand on the girl's head as she planted a kiss on the girl's forehead before pulling away from Alpino as she nodded for the other destroyers to continue.

Nodding somewhat at that, the next one after Artigliere nodded somewhat, glancing up to the two foreign Admirals.

"Soldati Class destroyer Ascari. Proud member of the Regia Marina." She said, her eyes darting to the Japanese destroyer who had raised a ruckus about it before, throwing in a satisfied smirk. The Japanese girl's eyes widened for a moment before scowling, crossing her arms as she looked away with an aggravated motion. The Italian girl only smirked in turn at that, victorious in her endeavor as the next began to speak.

"Italian Destroyer Fuciliere." She introduced herself to them. "Of the same class as my sisters." She explained, gesturing to the three older destroyers.

"Italian Destroyer Geniere." Came the Fifth, jerking her head in the direction of Alpino, who was now simply watching her sisters introduce themselves. "Youngest present of the five of us." She explained.

The Soldati class as a whole bared a lot of resemblance to one another, Alpino seeming to be the stand out. But they weren't close to identical either as some of the already present girls were. Alpino's black hair was a stand out feature against the other six new summons, which all sported some shade of either dark or light brown, not all that uncommon from Pola's own.

The cruiser sisters, Eugenio And Armando, didn't bare much resemblance to one another either, besides the brown hair. Appropriate, given that they themselves had said that they weren't normal sisters like most.

Eugenio sported dark yellow eyes, almost sickly so while Armando sported green eyes of a shade that most would associate with some fantasy version of toxic waste. Given that they were sitting, no one could tell their height, but when they'd been walking in, they'd appeared to be about the same height as Admiral Herkunft.

"Alright." Saradia said. "So, just as a final recount, we have Eugenio Di Savoia And Armando Diaz representing the cruisers. And for destroyers, we have Alpino, Artigliere, Ascari, Fuciliere, And Geniere. Correct?" She asked as she glanced around at the new seven. When they nodded in response, Saradia nodded as she looked to Ishigara.

Before he could start to figure out who the Japanese ship girls were however, a door to their left opened, admitting a friendly face into the room.

"Oh?" Liz asked as she approached, sipping at her mug as she looked over the group, coming to a stance next to Ishigara. "Seems I missed quite a summoning." She offered as she looked to the two. "I thought King was supposed to be summoning today." She said.

"Oh, he did." Saradia Replied as she looked to the woman. "He pulled through twenty Australian ship girls. And the Gateway decided to show us how it likes to treat Admiral Johnson by sending another forty two. These twenty one are half of that summoning." She explained.

"The other half, composed of American, British, and French ship girls are with Admiral Johnson and the Captians at the American HQ." Ishigara told her. "We about had a repeat of the meeting between Fletcher's and the Shiratsuyu sisters." He said before looking to the new summons. "For those of you wondering, this is Elizabeth Hiroshi. She's in charge of the Mess Hall and making sure you girls get fed properly." He explained.

"A job I throughly adore, mind you." She said, sipping at her drink. "Tell me, what's the temperature like outside right now?" She asked.

"Pretty chilly." Saradia Informed her. Liz nodded at that as she looked to the new summons.

"Well, since we're about on the verge of lunch, I'm gonna get you ladies some warm drinks. I will return." She Answered as she disappeared just as soon as she'd come, vanishing into the kitchen. Ishigara chuckled somewhat at that as he nodded, looking to the Japanese ship girls. Taking a moment, he looked to the cruisers first. "Let us start with the two of you then." He said.

"Light Cruiser Kuma, reporting for service Admiral." The cruiser introduced herself before glancing at the other cruiser, who appeared to be half asleep. "Uhhh, don't mind Tama here. She's just a little tired..." she said, gently patting the pink haired cruiser on the head. Ishigara nodded at that.

"Well, Ooi And Kitakami will be glad to have you on Base I believe." He offered in response to the statement. Kuma blinked before smiling at the mention of her sisters, before glancing back to Tama, the cruiser more and more slowly lowering her head down to the table. After a moment, Ishigara looked to the first of the presumable Japanese destroyers, the one that had apparently taken issue with the Italian destroyers.

"K-Kasumi, member of the Asashio class of destroyers." The silver haired destroyer mumbled, unable to meet eyes with the man. Ishigara sighed at that somewhat, closing his eyes a moment before looking to the destroyer.

"Kasumi, these are your allies. You can not go around treating them as if they were nothing more than annoyance to be had. They're just as new at this as you are." He told her. Kasumi for all her worth only crossed her arms as she looked away.

"Don't tell me what to do you shitty Admiral..." she muttered to herself. Ishigara only offered a sigh at this as the other five awake Japanese ship girls whipped around to her in a frenzied motion, trying to get her to immediately apologize for what she'd said to the man. Letting them bicker a moment, Ishigara raised another hand, silencing the bickering at once as he looked over the table once again. "Do not get onto her immediately for it. She, like the rest of you, is newly summoned. She has the ability to freely speak her mind just like the rest of you." He told them before looking to Kasumi. "That being said, you're expected to be at least a little agreeable. You're freshly summoned, like I said, so I'll overlook it this time around." He said before looking to the next of the group.

"Uh, Asashio Admiral. Nameship of the Asashio class of destroyers. Please don't mind my sister, please! She's just a little agitated because of the Americans!" The destroyer pleaded somewhat.

"Asashio, I don't need you defending me!" Kasumi called back, slamming her hands on the table. Asashio wheeled on the girl, her own hands meeting the table.

"You were disrespectful to him, Kasumi-Chan! You can't say things like that!" The eldest of the class scolded her younger sister. Kasumi rolled her eyes at that.

"I don't care Asashio! He literally just said I'm aloud to speak my mind! And frankly, I don't find my current situation agreeable!" She fires back.

"P-please don't fight...." One of the other three attempted to intercede. But Asashio And Kasumi immediately wheeled on the girl.

"Shut up Minegumo!" They yelled in unison. The destroyer indicated as Minuegumo in turn reeled back somewhat at apparently having two of her sisters turn on her like they'd just done so. The other two destroyers present immediately went to Minegumo's Defense, interjecting themselves into Asashio's And Kasumi's argument, soon enough four destroyers arguing with their sisters. Only for a moment though.

"QUIET!" Nagato barked as she slammed a hand down on their table, startling all seven of the Japanese ship girls at suddenly hearing Nagato at full volume directly next to them, Tama bolting upright at the sudden shift in tension. "The Admiral is speaking to you." She hissed. Immediately, the four that had been bickering calmed down almost immediately as Minegumo sat there, quite very spooked from the sudden volume right next to them. Ishigara sighed a moment, but nodded his head in thanks to Nagato.

"Thank you Nagato." He said in appreciation, the battleship nodding in return. "Well, given that we now know Asashio, Kasumi, And now Minegumo." He said as he looked to the third destroyer. "Are you Alright Minegumo?" He asked as he looked to the girl.

Minegumo nodded somewhat hesitantly at the question, not exactly sure if she was more bothered by the fact that she'd been told off by her sisters or nearly made deaf by who was apparently Nagato-san's rather loud voice. After a moment, Ishigara nodded at that somewhat as he looked to the last two unknown destroyers.

"And the last two of you?" He asked, arching a brow.

"Uh, Arashio." The first one introduced, offering a small wave in greeting as she did so. "Member of the Asashio class of destroyers." She said eventually, glancing awkwardly at her sisters.

"Destroyer Asagumo." The Fifth one introduced herself as a moment later. "Also apart of the Asashio class of destroyers." She introduced herself as. Ishigara nodded at that as he sighed a moment before recounting them all at once.

"Alright. So we have Kuma and Tama, both light cruisers. And then, Asashio, Arashio, Kasumi, Minegumo, And Asagumo. Correct?" He asked. When the six of them nodded, Kuma patting Tama on the head in turn, Ishigara nodded finally as he looked back to Saradia.

The German Admiral nodded in return at that who then made her way over to the German table, sitting across from them as she looked to the two older girls. "Shall we start with the two of you then?" She asked. One of them, the closer of the two to her, nodded.

"German Light Cruiser KMS Königsberg at your beckon, Admiral." The girl said with a slight nod of the head. Saradia nodded at that somewhat as she then looked to the other sitting next to the light cruiser.

"German Light Cruiser KMS Köln." She said in short, nodding her head like her older sister had done. Saradia nodded at that as she took a moment to readjust her seating.

Königsberg And Köln were very much like in facial appearances, but König's gray eyes stood out from Köln's blue. Both of them sported dark brown hair however, but Köln's was done in dual braids that sat in front of her shoulders while König's was in one long ponytail that also sat over her shoulder, the light cruiser playing with it somewhat as she looked at her Admiral.

Saradia nodded at that for a moment before she looked to the first of the smaller German girls, nodding for her to make her introduction. The girl nodded promptly at the gesture.

"U-2340 Admiral." The submarine girl promptly introduced herself.

"U-2341." Introduced the next after her.

"U-2342." Came the next.

"U-2343." Introduced the fourth.

"U-2344." Finalized The Fifth.

"Errr, Yes." Saradia eventually Answered them as she looked over the five.

Saradia wasn't looking to be rude, she really wasn't, but her mother had shown her The Shining and the only thing that she could compare the five two to were an expanded set of the twins from the Stanley Hotel. Except, all five of them shared an almost eerily gray in their hair color and a dull gray for their eyes. It took a moment but Saradia nodded eventually, recounting the seven of them quite easily.

"So we have Königsberg and Köln. And then we have U-2340, U-2341, U-2342, U-2343, And U-2344." She recounted, the seven of them nodding, the Subs as one. "Alright. Twenty one ship girls named and learned." She said as she leaned forwards somewhat. As she did so however, Liz emerged once more from the kitchen, carrying two trays with no issue.

The trays seemed to have multiple mugs on them, organized and held so that the woman could carry them easily.

"Alright." Liz hummed as she placed the trays down on a nearby table before starting to place mugs of the stuff in front of the newly summoned girls, starting with those of the Japanese and working her way around. As she did so, Minegumo peered into the mug.

"Ummm... Liz-San? What is this?" She asked.

"Hot chocolate." Liz replied.

"Isn't Chocolate supposed to be solid...?" Eugenio asked in turn, glancing at the drink.

"Taste it first. And then tell me what you think." Liz offered in return with a knowing smile. She watched as all twenty one of the new girls slowly brought the beverages to their lips, letting them taste the first drink of their new lives.

The woman had to suppress a laugh when she watched their eyes go wide. Saradia chuckled somewhat at that anyways, looking to Ishigara.

"I wonder how the Allies are making out." She said to him. Ishigara simply nodded with a smile as he watched the girls enjoy their drinks.

—/—\—

"ALLIED! NO FUCKIN WAY! NO THANKS NOT ME!" One of The American smaller girls declared, her arms crossed as she shook her head. The other members of the new allies 21 nodded or murmured their agreement in kind to the American's rather loud and boisterous statement. Anya resisted the urge to let her eyes roll hard at the statement as she also resisted the urge to simply go upstairs, curl up with her battleship, and go to bed.

No, this was not the time for that. She clapped her hands to her face a moment before shaking it somewhat before looking back to the girls.

"Look, I know it's hard to accept in your cases. I understand that, I really do. But the war is long over. And in today's reality, all six countries represented are allied. American, Britain, France, Japan, Germany, and Italy are all allied. That same idea goes for those who are on this base." She explained, only for her words to be met with more groaning and rebuttals. "Good god..." she muttered to herself.

The Allied half of the summoning was currently being talked to in the front hall of the American HQ, the already summoned battleships, cruisers, and carriers both standing perimeter and leaning against the railings of the stairs as they looked down at the gathering. Watching the whole spectacle from above, trading a bottle between themselves, was Leningrad and Molotov, the two Soviet ships apparently more than entertained at the moment.

Sofia, Anya, And King were currently standing in front of their, at the moment, shared office, trying to explain the situation.

And the new summons weren't having it.

Maryland chuckled for a moment as she watched the new summons all voice their complaints at once, and some of them weren't even in English if she was hearing right. Rubbing her face amusedly, she leaned against the wall next to the stairs as she watched the three Officers stand in front of their office.

Taking a moment, she stepped up behind Anya, leaning down to her ear.

"We could toss them into the bay too. Is that still an option?" She asked with a chuckle. Anya rolled her eyes at the suggestion, though still smiled. All the way until she felt Mary nip at her ear, making the Admiral jump somewhat as she wheeled on the now retreating, laughing battleship.

"Maryland!" Anya accused with a pointed finger, though she couldn't keep the laughter completely contained.

"I'm innocent! I do not know what you are talking about! I'm simply suggesting that your idea of tossing the new summons into the bay is simply not going to work." She said in response, a mischievous grin making a home of her lips.

The American battleships and carrier present narrowed their eyes at the exchange. For more reasons than one. But aside from that, the twenty one new summons had immediately wheeled on the Admiral, going strangely quiet as they glowered at the woman. Anya sighed at that, shooting Maryland a dirty look, before looking to the new summons. "I assure you, what she just said is fully her idea and her idea alone. I'm not gonna toss you girls into the bay for having an opinion." She Answered as Maryland cackled, ducking into the office behind them to get out of the limelight.

Shaking her head as she watched the door behind her close, she sighed before glancing to the new summons. "Alright. Before we get into anything else, we really do need to learn some names here. I don't care which country goes first, just as long as by the end of the day, I don't have to refer to you guys as New summon number etcetera." She said. "So, American, British, French. Doesn't matter to me. I just want names." She Answered.

Surprisingly, however where she'd expected the first group to be those of her own girls wearing that of the blue and gold, she was instead greeted by the sight of those of the French approaching her, with some prodding from Strasbourg and Richelieu, the two somewhat nudging the seven along. Anya shot the two battleships a thankful nod at that before looking to the seven approaching her.

Taking a moment, she eventually gestured to one of the smaller girls present, the one that stood next to the two older looking ship girls.

"Um.. I'm French destroyer Guépard...name ship of my class..." The girl said, almost unwilling to meet Anya's gaze for more than a few seconds at a time. Anya watched the girl a moment before chuckling somewhat at that, kneeling down to the girl for a moment as she gestured for the girl's hands. When Guépard eventually did so, placing her hands in the woman's, Anya smiled up at the destroyer as she spoke.

"Je ne peux pas imaginer ce que vous devez penser en ce moment. Mais au moins, réalisez-le et c'est le fait que, peu importe votre nationalité, vous êtes un ami." Anya spoke in a soft tone, catching both the destroyer and just about everyone else besides Sofia in the room off guard.

"Wait wait wait. You can speak French!?" Enterprise called from her spot on the left staircase as she looked down at the blonde. Anya simply smiled up at the carrier as she placed a hand on Guépard's head, ruffling her hair somewhat. "You're American! You're supposed to know Freedom and freedom! Why didn't you tell us!?"

"American Highschool man." Anya said to the Carrier. "Questionable at times, but making me take a few courses of French has finally paid off. And anyways, it never came up. Both Strasbourg and Richelieu seemed comfortable enough speaking in English." She said with a chuckle before letting out a solid 'oof' as Guépard suddenly wrapped her arms around Anya's waist. The woman chuckled somewhat, rubbing the girl's head somewhat a moment. Apparently however, one of the American ship girls took offense to this as she threw her hands up in the air.

"Hey, you baguette! That's our Admiral!" She cried indignantly. Anya offered only a deadpanned expression at that as some of the other girls, both American and not, offered laughs at that. Sofia rolled her eyes somewhat at that, offering a laugh of her own at that as she did so.

After a moment, Guépard eventually stepped away from the woman, soon standing before her once more. Anya smiled somewhat as she patted the French destroyer on the head in support.

The lead ship of the class, the most notable feature about Guépard was the vibrant orange eyes the girl sported. Along with that was one messy braid, some hair sticking out here and there. She looked to be about ten, and only came up to about Anya's lower torso.

Nodding somewhat at the girl, Anya had her step back into line as she looked to the next in line, gesturing for the girl to sport her name. Trading a glance with Guépard, who in turn nodded, the girl nodded in response as she looked up to Anya.

"French destroyer Lion." She introduced herself. "Younger sister to Guépard. Thank you for calming her down." She said as she put up an arm, laughing as her older sister began to wail on her for it.

Lion, like her sister, had her dark black hair in a messy single braid. She laughed, her green eyes sparkling in the light of the room as she attempted to hold her eldest sister at bay. Anya chuckled somewhat as she watched the destroyers for a moment before looking to the third of the five younger girls. "And you?" The American Admiral asked.

"French Destroyer Valmy." She introduced herself before gesturing to the two sisters next to her. "Sistership to these knuckleheads." She said with a smile before being glomped by both Guépard and Lion, the third girl laughing as she was brought down to the floor by the combined weight of the two. Anya laughed somewhat as she watched the destroyer get taken down by the two.

Valmy, following the example set by her older sisters, had the very same messy braid that the other two had had. Her dark brown hair held in place, she attempted to feebly fight off her older sisters, which clearly wasn't going her way. Dark brown eyes looked for help, but the destroyer found none as she was attacked. Anya chuckled somewhat before looking to the next of the five. "And your name?" She asked.

"Destroyer Verdun, also a member of the Guépard class." She introduced herself before glancing down at her three older sisters, chuckling somewhat awkwardly as she watched the three before going about trying to help the three of them up, with Sofia's help.

"Destroyer Vauban." The last of the five told Anya with a small wave. "Of the same class as the four of them." She said as she made no move to get involved with the mess that was her sisters.

Verdun And Vauban followed the braid trend, Vauban's being the longest of the five. But Verdun was the stand out amongst her sisters, her hair a bright blonde rather than the dark headed colors of her sisters present. Anya nodded at that as she pointed to each one a moment, mouthing their names to herself a moment before nodding. At that, she then looked to the two older looking French ship girls.

"Alright. Five destroyers. Maybe some cruisers to go with them?" She asked. When the two of them nodded somewhat at that, Anya gestured for the first of the two to introduce herself.

"French Light Cruiser Primauguet." She introduced herself with a nod. Or, a half nod as she briefly glanced behind her at one of the American battleships before quickly whipping back around, clearly nervous about something. Anya arched a brow at that before glancing up at the same place the cruiser had, finding herself to be staring at South Dakota and her sisters. Notably, it was Massachusetts who looked the most surprised at the mention of the girl's name. Holding a moment, Anya nodded at that as she then looked to the next of the two.

"Light Cruiser Lamotte-Picquet." She said. "Sister ship to Primauguet and member of the Duguay-Trouin class." She said with a nod of the head as well. Anya nodded in acceptance, looking between the two a moment before glancing over the seven as a whole.

"Lamotte-Picquet And Primauguet for cruiser representation. And then we have Guépard, Lion, Valmy, Verdun, And Vauban for Destroyer representation. Should be easy enough to remember." Anya said as she crossed her arms.

"Speak for yourself. We don't speak surrender around these parts." One of the new American ship girls said in response. All seven of the French ship girls before Anya seemed to recoil at that somewhat, Anya offering only a sigh in response as she looked to the girl.

"I will throw you in the bay without a second thought." Anya told her, hands going to her hips. "And I've got more than enough hands here to help me with it. Whether they be American, Australian, French, or British." She said. "That aside, Sofia, do you wish to learn their names?" She asked as she looked to the Captain. The woman nodded at that as she stepped up as did the seven American ship girls. And five of them looked about ready to brawl someone.

"Alright. So which one of you punks wants to go first?" Sofia asked, arching a brow as she crossed her arms across her chest. The one in the middle of the younger five rose a hand before resting both of them on her head, giving the Captain a smirk.

"SS-306, USS Tang, proud member of the Balao class." She said as she grinned up at the Captain. Sofia nodded for a moment before sighing.

Being the first Balao class present, it was clear that Tang didn't resemble Harder, Pargo, or Snook all that much at all. She was bigger than the three of them and some of those in line with her. She had dirty blonde hair that only went to about her ears and some of the reddest eyes that Sofia had ever seen.

"Alright, well Tang, I would appreciate if you'd stop poking fun at the French ship girls please. For the moment, let's just see if we can't keep the peace a little bit." She said in response.

"Maybe if they could win a-"

The submarine girl didn't get to finish her statement as Shropshire, of all ship girls, drove the tips of her knuckles into the submarine's head, grinding it against her skull as the cruiser ground her teeth. Sofia watched a moment before nodding in acceptance. "Thank you Shropshire." Sofia said. The cruiser fired off a two finger salute with a grin as she kept Tang under wraps. "Alright. Next." She spoke.

The second girl nodded as she glanced at Tang wearily a moment before looking to Sofia. "SS-411, USS Spadefish." She explained, a hand to her chest. "Member of the Balao class." She introduced herself.

"You gonna badmouth the French ship girls too?" Sofia asked promptly.

"Not in front of them." Spadefish replied, shooting the Captain a cheeky smile. Sofia rolled her eyes at that somewhat.

Spadefish had longer hair than her sister, but not by much. A dark orange in color, Spadefish watched her sister try to do battle with the Aussie cruiser, only for Tang to continue to lose. Badly.

Sofia simply sighed as she gestured to the third girl. "You a sub too?" She asked.

"USS Tautog. SS-199, member of the Tambor class of submarines." The girl said, looking at her younger cousin do battle with the heavy cruiser before looking back to Sofia. "And don't worry. I won't badmouth them. If that's what you're worried about." She said as she glanced to the seven French ship girls.

Tautog, given that she wasn't apart of the Balao class, held no resemblance to the other subs so far. Dark red hair ran to only her cheeks, swept to the side to keep her face clear. She held a moment before looking up to Sofia, her red eyes showing more curiosity than malcontent towards those around her.

Sofia nodded as she moved to the third of the five younger girls.

"Hmmm, you gonna be a Balao? A Tambor? Or are you gonna add to the sister count of the Gato class?" She asked somewhat.

"Gato Class Ma'am." The Submarine told her. "USS Silversides. SS-236. Are uh... any more of the Gato class here?" She asked. Sofia nodded at that.

"I can only imagine where they've gotten off to, but Harder, Pargo, And Snook have been holding the representation of the American Silent service on their shoulders for a few months now. So, I'm sure they'll be glad to receive you girls. Even Tang over there." She said as she glanced at the Submarine, who was now being tormented by both Canberra and Shropshire, the two Australian cruisers poking fun at the sub. Silversides only smiled somewhat, watching as Tang attempted to combat the two cruisers on the surface.

Silversides, matching the name it would seem, looked to have very silver eyes. But her hair was long and black.

Silversides glanced at Tang a moment before looking to the last of the five, nudging her in the side, getting her to introduce herself. The girl blinked before nodding, looking to Sofia.

"USS Flasher. SS-249, member of the Gato class submarines." She introduced herself, nodding somewhat. "Uhhh, is Tang gonna be okay?" She asked.

"Dunno. Canberra and Shropshire only crossed over minutes before you all did. Don't really know them all that well yet." Sofia said for a moment, allowing the four subs to step towards Tang, watching as only Spadefish attempted to get in between her sister and the heavy cruisers. After a moment, Sofia looked to the last two new summons in the blue and gold. "So. How about the two of you?" She asked.

"Cee-el Four Ma'am." The first introduced herself. "Name class of the Omaha class of light cruisers, USS Omaha." She introduced her self before looking to the other.

"Cee-el Thirteen at your service. Youngest of the Omaha class, USS Memphis." The last of the seven introduced herself.

"Hmmm, can't say we've ever received the oldest and youngest of a class at once if I think about it." Sofia said. "So, we've got Tang, Spadefish, Tautog, Flasher, And Silversides bringing up our Sub numbers. And then we have Omaha and Memphis representing our light cruisers, who, might I add with the two of you included, the American fleet present only sports eight light cruisers all together." Sofia said.

"Had to be Omaha. Couldn't have been Milwaukee, heh." Molotov monotoned from above them, her and Leningrad's legs dangling down above them as they had them through the railing. Some of the girls present glanced up at the two former Soviet ships a moment, some in unease as Sofia chuckled, stepping forwards as she glanced up at the two.

"Do the two of you have another bottle of Vodka up there?" She asked, crossing her arms as she met eyes with Molotov. Leningrad gave a wry grin as she brought the indicated object up to her lips, tipping her head back as she took a swig, a number of the new summons watching them cautiously.

"So uh... why... do we have commies in an American HQ building...?" Spadefish slowly asked as she watched the two.

"Miss-summoned like a number of those on base. But that aside, they really don't cause that much trouble." Anya Answered as she stepped next to Sofia, glancing up at the two, meeting eyes with the Russian cruiser, who was watching the two Americans in a lazed fashion. "But as... curious as they may be, they really don't cause issue here." Anya told her.

"Nyet." Leningrad Answered in turn before taking another swig of her bottle, lounging back on the second floor. Anya shook her head that as Omaha raised a hand.

"Um, Admiral. What was it that Maryland said that made you jump like you did?" She asked, quite curious to know what was said. Anya met eyes with the green brown eyed cruiser a moment, her eyes then darting to those of the likes of Arizona, Enterprise, Pennsylvania, And Indiana before shrugging.

"A simple joke. Though, not exactly appropriate." She Answered, offering a sigh.

"Oh my." Omaha blinked in response, covering her mouth somewhat in surprise. Anya simply chuckled at that as she looked to King.

"Well, we've leaned the French and American. King?" She asked, gesturing to those of the British. The Captain held a moment before chuckling somewhat, nodding as he approached from the door as those of the British stepped front and center.

"So, based on the trend we had with the Americans and French, am I looking at five subs and two light cruisers or five destroyers and two cruisers?" He asked, glancing between the seven of them. When one of them nodded to the second choice, he returned it. "Alright. Well, since those two went to the smallest first, we're gonna start with the two of you." He said, gesturing to the light cruisers.

"I'm still your favorite light cruiser though, rigggggghhhhhhttttt?" Sydney asked from her place on the stairs, next to the South Dakota sisters. King glanced up to the girl.

"You going to keep implying I'm planning to sleep with Ship girls?" He asked in turn.

"Well, aren't you though?" She asked, resting her chin on her palms as she leaned against the stair railing, glancing down at the Captain. Those of them present who were not there when Sydney had brought the issue up in the Summoning chamber only glanced at the Captain in mixtures of shock and disgust. At that, Anya placed a hand on the man's shoulder.

"To clarify. The Captain is not planning to sleep with anyone. Sydney's stirring up a wildfire and hoping it'll catch." She said in a voice for all to hear before pulling back somewhat, her voice lowering to an octave that made King's skin crawl. "Right?" She pursued, her tone promising very dark times ahead should he choose wrong. He nodded. She smiled. And stepped back.

Taking a moment to breathe again, he shook his head. "For the time being and for all of our sanity, ignore the loud mouthed light cruiser in our presence." He told them before looking to the two taller British girls. Some laughed as Sydney made a noise of indignation, sputtering as she eventually rested her chin against the railing, resorting to simply watching. "Anyways, Miss..." He trailed off, gesturing to the first.

"HMS Bellona, Member of the Dido class of light cruisers, name-ship of the Bellona sub-Class of the same group." The cruiser introduced herself with a nod of the head, her hands clasped before her. King nodded at that as he then looked to the other.

"HMS Royalist. Member of the Dido class of light cruisers, second oldest of the Bellona sub class." She introduced herself with a nod as well. But her hands hung at her side as she glanced at her older sister.

Both Bellona and Royalist sported light blonde hair, ending in curls galore. But the difference lied in the fact that Bellona had brown eyes where as Royalist had nice green eyes. The two of them both stood at about 5'6, looking to be seventeen.

King nodded at that as he then made way for the group of five, the smaller British girls and the last members of their half of the forty two. "Alright. So who we got here?" King asked as he pointed to the first.

"HMS Vanessa, Captain!" She greeted, raising a hand in the hair. "A member of the V class of destroyers!" She introduced. King nodded somewhat at that as he pointed to the next of the group.

"HMS Vega!"

"HMS Violent!"

"HMS Vivien!"

"HMS Vittoria!"

"Based on the names, all V Class. I assume." King inquired, his assumption being met with nods. "You know, funnily enough, we already have some V classes on base. Vampire, Voyager, and Vendetta." He told them. All five pairs of eyes lit up at the mention of their sisters. "At the moment, I'm not sure where they've gone off to but you should be able to meet them at Lunch." He told them. Anya clapped her hands at that.

"Speaking of Lunch, here's what we're gonna do. So, to be honest, we were expecting just King's girls to come through today. But that won't be a problem. So here in a minute when we make sure we've gotten everyone's names recorded, you all are gonna follow the ever so Nice American battleships here to the Mess. Where you sit in there doesn't matter to us, as long as you're present." She explained to them.

"Uhh, Does Liz know we're about to descend upon the mess with this many new faces?" Enterprise asked somewhat unsure.

"Ishigara And Saradia took the previous Axis girls to the Mess. So if Liz didn't notice them then and there and ask what's up, I don't know what to tell you." Anya said in reply.

A few minutes later, when their names had been written down, all forty one girls that they knew the names of, American, British, French, and Australian, Anya nodded. "We'll discuss rooming and command situations after lunch. So if you're British or French, make sure you come back here after lunch so we can get that sorted out." Anya said before shooting a thumbs up to Arizona, Pennsylvania, And Dreadnought. This in turn opened the doors to the American HQ and the three battleships began to lead the new summons out and to the Mess. As she did so, Anya reached out and rugged on Mary's arm, halting her advance somewhat as she and the other two officers watched everyone else leave, making extra sure to wait for Molotov and Leningrad to come down from their spots, which took a few moments longer then they'd expected to.

"What's. The. Big. Idea." Anya asked, with a poke in the battleship's stomach with each word, glancing up at the woman. "Supposed to be secret, ya know? You nipping at my ear in front of a bunch of new summons is not secret!" She scolded lightly.

"It's just some harmless teasin, Admiral." Maryland said with a laugh, patting the shorter woman on the head. "Plus, I've done far more forward stuff than that before we were together. That's really nothing when you think about it." She hummed, her eyes meeting green. Anya rolled her eyes at that as she looked to King.

"By the way, don't take what I said or sounded like seriously. It'd be real hypocritical of me to tell you not to get it in with one of em and I'm just over here with a battleship." She said.

"To be fair. I'm not looking to get it in with anyone." King replied, hands going to his pockets as he did so.

"Just sayin." Anya said before leaning up to Maryland, the two's lips meeting for a kiss, parting a moment later. Sofia chuckled somewhat.

"We lifting that rule for Cynthia?" She asked.

"No." Came the response.

—/—\—

"Two Hundred And thirty three." Sofia repeated in some disbelief. "Remember when we had sixty seven to worry about?" The Captain asked with a chuckle.

"Remember when the Gateway decided it had rules it wanted to follow?" Anya asked in counter as she sipped at her water. Sofia only chuckled at that as they both went back to their food, the Officer's table now once more sporting the five officers in charge of the fleet and Emma, the girl seated next to her mother.

The fleet was still trickling in for Lunch, most of them stopping and staring openly at the new summons, who were already seated and eating. Well, most were. They were still waiting on the entirety of the Australian destroyers to return to them. But as the last of the fleet present began to enter the Mess Hall, going to their respective tables and sitting down, trading words of greeting, the officers stood from their table, garnering attention as the fleet began to quiet down. Making their way to the center front of the Mess Hall, they looked over the fleet a moment before nodding somewhat.

"So, as you can see, we had a few extra summons today." Anya said loud enough to where she could be heard. Some of the older members of the fleet laughed somewhat at that as Atlanta yelled back.

"I don't think that word means what you think it means, Admiral!" The cruiser yelled in return. Anya rolled her eyes, offering a dismissive wave in the cruiser's direction.

"Nonsense!" She offered. "Anyways, for those of you that were present before today, like always, be nice and courteous. A good portion of the new summons are a little nervous about being in a fleet like the one we have here. So, please, just be good people in general. We know you can." She offered.

"What if we don't wanna!?" Yorktown, CV-10 called in response. Anya rolled her eyes again, putting a hand on her hip as she looked to Sofia.

"How'd we get stuck with a fleet of unruly children?" She asked, her voice filled with mirth as she eyed the woman. Sofia simply shrugged at that as Atlanta slammed her hands on the table she was seated at, standing in turn.

"Children!? The youngest one here is Kitty Hawk and she still has decades on your ass!" The cruiser yelled in response, prompting some laughter from both members of the American ship girl portion and others as they watched the stand off between Admiral and cruiser. The new members of the fleet were simply staring, dumbfounded as they paused their meals, watching whatever they were bearing witness too unfold. Anya shrugged, crossing her arms.

"Decades or not, there's still the fact that I'm the one wearing the three stars." Anya shot back. Atlanta narrowed her eyes in response as Akagi rose a hand from her table, swallowing her mouthful of food for a moment before speaking.

"It is my understanding that when the first large group of American ship girls came through, there was a push to promote Maryland to Admiral status! Is this still on the table?" She asked in question. Anya scowled at the Carrier as Maryland rose her hands in victory, the Essex Hornet And Yorktown starting to pound their fists against their table.

"Ma-ry-land! Ma-ry-land! Ma-ry-land!" The two began to chant. And soon enough, every single American ship girl present began to join in the chant, some of the Japanese ship girls joining their voices to it. Their voices were loud and demanding, and Sofia And King laughed, their heads titling back somewhat as Saradia and Ishigara smiled at the commotion. Anya scowled for a moment before shrugging.

"Guess that means I'll be leaving Yokosuka then." She offered with her hands up in a shrugging motion. Immediately, Maryland stopped her chanting as she calmed down drastically.

"I refuse!" She called back. The fleet immediately defused into more laughter at the battleship's sudden retreat at the Admiral's proposed leaving. At that however, the Mess Hall doors swung open, admitting Sixteen Australian destroyers and one, very soaked, Lexington. The carrier huffed to herself, some of the eating fleet laughing or snickering somewhat at her appearance as the sixteen ran for King and Anya.

"Alright! For those who don't know, we struck a deal between the Australian destroyers and Admiral Johnson!" Sofia began. "The deal was that if the sixteen of them could dump old Blue here into the Bay, they could rename her anything they wanted! And, she'd be identified as an Australian ship for a week!" Sofia told the fleet. "And given that well, she's soaking wet..." she trailed off, the fleet's snickering growing louder.

"Well..." King asked as the group approached. "What'd you girls decide to name her?" He asked. When Vampire went to whisper in his ear, he listened, and as she told him, he bit his lips to keep from laughing. Standing, he leaned over to Anya to tell her, and she had much the same reaction.

"Okay! So, for a week! There is no CV-16, USS Lexington! Now, I want you all to meet HMAS Sharkbait!" Anya told them before laughing, bending forwards somewhat. The fleet, both American, Japanese, and German alike broke down as the new summons of French and British only stared.

But as they did so, Lexington stomped her way up to King, standing before him.

Bluish-gray steel eyes met those of green.

One a light with vengeance.

The other lit with mischief.

Lexington jabbed a finger into the man's chest.

"You're gonna pay." The carrier said in turn, her gaze meeting his fully. King simply smirked, his laughter still present somewhat.

"Uh-huh. Suuurrrrreee." He replied, his eyes narrowing slightly. Lex held a moment before smirking slightly as her gaze snapped to Anya.

Immediately, she wrapped her hands around the Admiral, still soaking wet, and pulled her to her. And before Anya could do anything, Lex yanked the back of her collar forwards, and immediately stuffed a handful of seaweed she'd been hiding down the woman's back.

"SHARKBAIT!" Anya screeched.

The fleet laughed harder.
