Bio

Hi, I'm Alix. I grew up surrounded by creative writers, so I've been beta-reading and reviewing since my early teens. Currently, I'm a Media student (pretty sure that's got absolutely nothing to do with my upbringing) and an avid reader of whatever I get my hands on (from tv scripts over any sort of fiction to academic literature such as theses). I love traveling and learning all about different cultures, so I'm all up for diversifying media in every sense of it. I like coffee, ice-cream, and 90s rock music.

I'm open to reading any genre, including fantasy, werewolf, historical fiction, teen fiction.

Review Style

My review style is flexible, so I am happy to focus on any aspects you'd like. If there are no specific requirements, I naturally pay attention to your tone of voice, descriptions, character development, and pacing. In my reviews, I also consider the plot structure and continuity as well as the overall setting (in fantasy, for instance, the world-building).
