Kaneki was in the anteiku cafe closing up the cafe. Some guys broke into the shop asking for rize. He couldn't explain what happened to her after. He didn't want him to feel broken and sad cause he felt like that was her love.

Ayato dropped in and broke the window  toka was surprised. They destroyed the cafe and almost beat kaneki into a bloody pulp. They took him to torture  him and left the cafe wrecked to shit. Kaneki was screaming the whole way there.

Every one was worried for him but yoshimura.  He said to forget everything about him he never existed. Toka yelled "what! I'm going to save him cause he's one of us what happened to you saying we help our own". He replied " i never said we wont go save him".
