These I 100% recommend for beginners!! The beads are high quality, there's a decent amount, you don't have much of each color so you are limited

These however SUCK. the beads are low quality and break easily, the hurt because of sharp edges. And are superrrrr small so can mess up patterns!!

This string is horrible!! It doesn't stay tied, it dry rots, is a pain to work with, just don't buy it.

This kind of string is awesome!! It's way stretchier, easy to tie and come with a lot!! Lasts a while too!! On Amazon it's cheaper tho. Just look up 'cloth covered elastic string' and it should come up!!

For little shapes like pumpkins I recommend using fishing line!! As it's really sturdy, and doesn't stretch, you can still use stretchy string obviously, but fishing line is definitely better!!
