I slowly sipped the milk out of my cup. Yesterday was my tenth birthday. Eevee perches herself on my shoulder. "Talon!" Noble's Talonflame is ready to fly me over to Vaniville. That's where my parents stay when they're not somewhere else exploring. I wish Kyle could be there. I haven't seen him in two years, when I got sick as an eight year old. That was the first time I met him, my oldest sibling, my very own brother. "Is my favorite sister ready for her journey?" Its Crystal. Haunter stood beside her waiting for my reply. "What about Noble, or Lilly?" I ask, letting Audino take my glass. "Pfft, they live forever away." She made the forever extremely long. "Noble lives in Lumiose and Lilly lives in Anistar." "Hey, I know I always sound like I don't care, and I really don't, but don't get hurt. I don't want Crys here, or my old man Robert to worry." I smile. For once, Haunter has possessed Crystal to say something like Good luck. Even though Haunter will never trust me, or anyone the way she trusts Crystal,(my sister, which is Haunter's trainer) or Grandpapa (His real name is Robert and he raised Haunter). "Okay Haunter, how are you and Crys gonna get to Vaniville quickly?" "I dunno Kandi, that's Crys' call." Haunter replies, again speaking through Crys. After speaking those words Haunter stopped possessing Crys. Her eyes went back to their normal pinkish auburn color. She realized what had been asked, despite not being conscious when Haunter possessed her. Ah, the joys of telepathy, I should know. Sometimes its fun to see how Pokémon think. "We're gonna get there using this!" She tossed a pokeball in the air. "Show them what you've got Skarmary!" Luckily it landed outside. "Aunt Sylica, Uncle Peter, I'm heading there!" Aunt Sylica came downstairs and hugged me. "My little Oran berry, oh my arceas, they grow up so fast, I know you'll do great out there. Go make me and Peter proud, all your other aunts and uncles, and your mommy and daddy proud! Oh I know Lilly and Noble and Crystal will be so proud of you. Oh and you're brother too, what was his name? Kyle! That's it, Kyle too!" Auntie said, tears streaming down her face. Uncle Peter pat my head. "Good luck Kandi." "Bye, I love you so much, thank you for raising me, tell Valerie I can't wait to challenge her." "I'm excited to battle you Kandi." It was Valerie, one of my closest friends and idol. "Good luck Eevee, Audino." She said. I glanced at my Pokémon. Eevee was given to me on my eighth birthday. Noble gave her to me and told me, "Little Eevee here saved two little Spewpa from a mean Granbull." I practiced battling everyday. I want my parents to come home and be proud of the work I've done. Audino was given to me at the hospital. Originally, she was there to comfort sick humans. Soon she started always staying with me, so the very nice lady who owned the hospital, her name was Dahlia Hawterts but she told us to call her Dolly, gave her to me. Audino was very strong. "Audino, Eevee, return for now." The two returned to their pokeballs. I got on Talonflame, and Crys got on Skarmory. "Let's go!"
