this uses the ladder kandi stitch, feel free to look up a tutorial on youtube or tiktok if needed

Needed materials

-five or more pony beads of each color on the flag of your choice

-Scissors (be safe)

-Hot glue (be safe)

-Safety Pin

-elastic cord or string (the less stretchy the better)

Step one

-cut a fair amount of cord, around an arm's length 

Step two 

- going from top to bottom, add one bead of each color

for example with the aroace flag you would add the colors in this order

-orange

-yellow

-white 

-light blue

-dark blue 

let those beads fall to the middle of the cord

Step three

-Take one side of the cord and string on the bead colors in reverse order

so for the aroace flag you would string on the colors in this order

-dark blue 

-light blue

-white

-yellow

-orange 

Step four

-take the other side of the cord and string it through the beads from step three and pull both sides of the cord until the beads are stack on top of the layer from step 2

step five 

-Repeat step three and four three more times

Step six

-tie off both sides by taking one side of the string and tying through the nearest loop on the side of the 'ladder' 

-do this on both sides and cut off the leftover string

Step seven 

-choose which side you want to be the back

-make sure that your flag is horizontal so it looks like the flag 

-hot glue your safety pin on the back 

MAKE SURE YOUR SAFETY PIN IS  POKEY SIDE UP SO YOU CAN  PIN IT ON THINGS

And you're done! 

You can hot glue the sides if you want to and you can play around with this pattern.
