Ash's Pov.

"Ash, I got him." Kanan said.

"NO! I got it." I said.
I took out one of my lightsaber.
He laughted.
"What a fearless child." He said.

"I hope you know I'm twenty-four." I said.
He asked,"Whatever! What are you to him?"
I answered,"Why would I tell you?"

He said,"Already then, I'll ask him myself."
I swang my lightsaber at him and he blocked it.
"I just know he means something to you." He said with a smile.

"I sense something in you, Jarrus. Pain...... But not that your suffering emotional, well, not anymore." He said with laughter.

I swang my lightsaber at him again. I kicked his side and he went back a few steps.

"Your dying....... That's why it is. Am I correct Ms. Jarrus?"
He said.

"Ash?"

That reminded me of when the Clone shoot my leg and Kanan carried me around everywhere.

"Ash, what is he talking about?" Kanan asked.

I looked back at Kanan.
That's what I knew I was going to regret.

I looked back at Maul with his lightsaber about to slice my eyes.

"ASTRID!!!"
Kanan pushed me further away from the blade and it still sliced me, bad.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" I yelled as I feel onto the ground.

"ASTRID!!!!!" Kanan yelled.
I hear a lightsaber blade.

I covered the eye that hit was sliced.
I stood up.
I turned on my lightsaber quickly and sliced Maul's side.

He feel to the ground.

I grabbed Kanan's arm.
We ran into my ship nd left.

I took some wrap and put over my eye.
"You are dying........ Why didn't you talk to me? Why didn't you tell me?"
His voice was shaking.
I knew if he could cry he would be.

"I didn't need you to worry about me. I was to worried about you I bet everyone forgot. I'm fine." I lied.

He put a hand on his head, shaking.

"Kanan....... I don't need you worry." I said.
I walked over to him and sat down next him.

"I don't want you to forget I care too."

My eyes teared up.

I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"We're going to be here for another hour, I hope you know that." He said, his voice still shaking.

"I'm fine with that...... I love big bro." I said and felt a tear clip down my eye while the other one burned.
