Mr. Edward's Pov.

2 1/4 years earlier.....

"I won't shoot that blaster, not mine." I said.
Ash raised her eyebrow. "Why?" She asked. She put a hand on her head.
She grabbed her blaster from her pocket.
"Here! I'm letting you die out there. I've lost to my people already." She said.

I grabbed it.

"At least tell me.... Is that your blaster?" She asked. I nodded. She said,"Then let me see it." I looked up at her. "I'm just trying to help you survive, Edwards." She said.
"Your going to keep it." I said. She said,"I'm keeping it from hurting you. Please hand it to me, Edwards." I looked down at the blaster.
I handed it to her.
She put it in her pocket.
"See, that was a good trade." Ash ts
I nodded. She put a hand on my shoulder.
"I know how you feel. When you just want to give up. I don't want that to be you.... not my best friend." She said.
"I mean just look at me. It took me a long time to heal from that. I'm probably going to have that thought later in life." She continued.
I shook my head.
"I'm not leaving anyone, Ash. You don't worry about that from me." I said.

She sighed.

"It's hard not to worry." Ash said.
I said,"I know. Nothing ever comes out of me people not worrying." She looked away from me and asked,"When are you going to tell me?" I put a hand through my hair.
"When I'm ready to talk." I answered.

Ash walked to the doorway about to walk out.

"I'll give you a hint." I said.
She stopped and looked back at me.

"Family." I said.

She raised an eyebrow and nodded.
She walked out.
I sighed and layed down on my bed.
I've been thinking of Rebel lately. I'm just  glad that Ash took my old blaster.

"EDWARDS!"
I opened my eyes to hear alarms.
I must have fallen asleep. Ash ran in.
"Get your legs moving! We need to go!" She yelled.
She grabbed my arm and we ran out of the room. I asked,"What's happening?"
She said,"A sith or an inquistor..... there here."

She pulled me to the left hall which made me bump into the wall.
"Sorry!" She said, and grabbed my arm again.
We ran down the hall in till there was no where else to go.
I looked behind us.
"Ash!" I said.
"What? I'm a little busy at the moment." She replied.
"Astrid!!!" I yelled.
She looked at me and said,"Don't you dare call me that and what!?!"

Then the sound of lightsabers filled the room.
She said,"Oh crap....."

There stood two siths.
She pushed me behind her.
She turned on both of her lightsabers.
The man figure laughed. I know that laugh. He took of his hood.
Ash said,"Darth Maul!"
He smiled and said,"Hello, Ms. Jarrus."
Mark walked by them like no big deal. Maul said,"Why didn't I do anything to him? That's right, I want have a little fun first!"
His lightsaber flew in the air.
"Get down!!!" I yelled. I pushed Ash away as I ducked.

A yelled in pain and fell to the ground.
"EDWARDS!" Ash yelled.
Mark turned on his lightsaber getting in front of us.
"Where did it hit you?" She asked. "My back..." I answered, pretty much whispering.
Ash stood up turning on her lightsabers again.
She swang at Maul as Mark ran to the other sith.

"No.... Stop....." I tried to yell.
I grabbed the blaster from my pocket. It was my old one.
"EDWARDS! I need help!!!! Use your blaster!!!" Mark yelled. I pointed my blaster at the sith and put my finger on the trigher.
"I can't......" I tried to yell.

"USE THE BLASTER!" Ash yelled.
Mark was thrown on the floor and the inquistor put his lightsaber over his head.
"Mark....." I said.

I pulled the trigger but, nothing came out.
No.....

"Mark!" I was able to yell.
My throat began to burn. I looked back at Ash.
It's not to late.
I began to crawl over there slowly.
When I looked back up, I gasped.

"ASH!" I yelled.
I stood feeling all the pain spread all through my body.
I fell back on the floor right away.

I looked up at Maul.
"I told you I wanted someone to care." He said.

"PHILP!"
I turned around but, couldn't see who it was.

"PHILP! PHILP, WAKE UP!"
I felt a shake to my shoulders.

My eyes flew open.
Ash sat there on the bed.
"It was just a dream." She said, standing up.
I rubbed my head. "Do you feel alright?" I asked. She nodded. She said,"I should be the one asking though." I said,"Well, I'm okay. Like you said.... it was just a dream." Ash raised an eyebrow and said,"Okay..... I'll see you later."
"Wait!" I said.
She looked back at me and nodded.
"Can I ask you something? You just have to promise not to tell anyone." I said.
She said,"Tell me. I promise I will try not to laugh at you."
I gave her a look as she smiled.
She sat down on a chair.
"Well, I made a promise to someone and I want to keep it so.... I was wondering....." I said. "If it involves credits you know I don't have anything on me." I said,"No, No, No. It doesn't involve credits. I want to help people. Just not in the way you do it. I mean.... I don't want to fight but, I can help. I want to become a doctor."

"First of all, That's wasn't funny at all. Second, that's awesome. Thrid, I would hire you to be in my fleet." She said.
"Wait, really?" I asked.
She said,"Heck, yah. I trust you. I want you to do what you want so you really want to this." I nodded. "Yes, I want to do this! Uh, sorry." I smiled.
She laughed.

I stood up am said,"I think this will help me feel better when I start." She stood up and smiled. "That's good. It's going to be a while though." She said, loosing her smile.
I said,"So what? I'm so excited already. Thank you."

She nodded and said,"You must have really wanted to be a Doctor for a while." I said,"My..... To be honest, six months."
I said,"I'm just happy that your happy."

Present....

Ash's Pov.

"You coming, Ash?" Idra asked.
I said,"Wait for me in the hall. I need to talk with my friend here." She nodded and closed the door.
"You alright?" I asked.
He looked back at me and smiled. "Yah. Thanks for asking. Idra's waiting you should go." I raised an eyebrow. I said,"What's wrong? You started acting weird when I brought up Maul." He said,"I'll talk to you later." I said,"No! You know I won't have time then. Tell me now." I crossed my arms.

"Fine, you want to hear it. He killed my sister! You happy now?" He said.
"I want you to be happy and if you let something out.... then it will make you feel better about it. Stop trapping yourself in this room! I only see you when I need your help. You never want to leave this room anymore. Just remember this, who gave this to you?"
I opened the door and hoped he would stop me.

"And I'm sorry about your sister." I said.
I walked out and closed the door behind me.

Idra asked,"What the heck was that about?"
I said,"Long story. Where did everone else go?" She said,"I don't know."
The alarms went off.
"We are now on lockdown!" The speaker yelled.

I looked at Idra.
The door opened.
"Get in now!" Edwards yelled.
I pushed Idra inside and looked for some more people.
"Diaden!" I called.
He ran over inside.
"Hold open the door!" Sabine yelled.

I put my hand out.
She began to run.
I saw a figure far behind her.

"Hurry!!!" I yelled.
Idra ran into the hallway.
She pulled out her blaster and began to run to Sabine.
When they where right next to each other, Idra shot at the figure.
"Come on!" Sabine yelled, as she grabbed her arm.
They ran into the room.
Edwards closed the door and locked it afterwards.

He turned off the lights and put everyone behind him.
He grabbed something from his belt.

"Could you see the figure?" Edwards asked Idra in a whisper. She nodded. "Who was it?" He asked.
"It..... It was Ezra. He didn't have blue eyes though. They where.... they where golden and red."

"We're to late." He said.
