Hiro and the others are in the SFIT lobby, sitting around as they wait for Takeshi. 

What do you think they want with Takeshi? Wasabi wondered I don't know Gogo replied as she showed them the SlashRiser But one thing's for sure, he doesn't want them around this She said as she gestures to the SlashRiser.

They then heard footsteps coming down the stairs causing Gogo to quickly hide it behind her. The footsteps slowly became louder until it stops on their floor. Hiro and the others peeked around and saw Saeko and Izumi looking around before walking out of the building.

Looks like they're done Hiro pointed out Come on let's go see if Takeshi's ok. Hiro then leads them slowly to the stairs and they began their ascent until Izumi began a conversation

Do you think that was the right thing to do? She wondered causing Hiro and the rest to stop and began eavesdropping on their conversation Who knows? But we need to stick to the mission Saeko stated as she held the Burning Falcon ProgRise Key I hope he sees that it's for the best, sooner than later She continued before walking out the building with Izumi.

That was a ProgRise key Wasabi pointed out  Do you think they...? Fred wondered scared for their friend's wellbeing Only one way to find out Hiro stated as he and the others made their way up the stairs to Takeshi's laboratory.

They reached the Nerd lab and saw the lights in Takeshi's lab still on, they also hear objects getting scattered. Worried, they ran to Takeshi's lab and gasp to see the state of the room. Papers and tools were scattered around the floor, equipment beat up but not broken and his chair toppled over. They then looked at the culprit of  the mess and see Takeshi panting as he leans forward on his desk

Takeshi? Honey Lemon called out, Takeshi whipped his head around to see his friends looking at him worried. He turned around and took a few steps forward before falling to his knees Dude! Fred exclaimed as he and the rest went to Takeshi.

You guys...Takeshi looked amongst his friends before hugging Wasabi, he's startled at first before hugging back, along with the others You guys are the greatest friends I've ever had  He stated Hey, we're still here, aren't we? We're not leaving you, ever Hiro reassured as Takeshi sniffled before looking at him Promise? He asked before feeling the reassuring hands of his friends We promise Honey Lemon said.

What exactly happened with you and A.I.M.S? Fred asked as he looks around Takeshi's lab We had conflicting goals. Takeshi said as he stands up and wipes the rest of the tears in his eyes They think we can't handle the Magia problem in San Fransokyo, but I'll make sure they never leave us out again He said 

He's right! Hiro stated This is our city, and we won't let them run it that easily He continued You sure we couldn't just leave it to them? Wasabi asked They are equipped to handle this situation. He stated They're only equipped to deal with the Humagears, not Tadashi Takeshi pointed out 

But if we get in their way, they might apprehend us for obstruction of justice Honey lemon said Then so be it, as long as we save everyone including our friend. Takeshi replied If you're afraid of their equipment, then just so you know I have blueprints of how they work He pointed out So that means I know how to counter them too

So is this what I think it means? Gogo wondered That's right, A.I.M.S is no longer our ally, I didn't think I would need it but I already added the countermeasures to your suit upgrades. Just in case Takeshi said, smirking at the end Yeah! That's is the Takeshi we know and love Fred exclaimed 

Sorry, you had to see that side of me Takeshi said Don't, It's honestly refreshing. Makes us see that even with all the hero stuff. You're still a down-to-earth guy Wasabi said Thanks...so how about those upgrades? They ended the day with a team hype-up celebration before going to their homes and begin their plan on stopping Sunfire. 

The new day opened as the sun shined on San Fransokyo, we then see Hiro and Takeshi in Takeshi's lab as they assess Takeshi's upgrades before getting started on making their upgrades 

How long will it take for us to finish all of this? Hiro asked Hmm...about a few weeks or so Takeshi stated as he begins booting up the 3DPS. A few weeks! Hiro exclaimed Yeah, these upgrades are complex, there gonna take a lot of time for us to complete. Takeshi explained Man...I wish there was some way we can do this faster Hiro complained

Timeskip 

And it's done! Takeshi exclaimed Wow, I can't believe we actually done it Hiro said amazed I know, and it feels like we only started a few seconds ago...Come on let's set this up and meet everyone at Fred's manor Takeshi said You got it.

The two engineers along with Baymax packed up the new suit upgrades and loaded them into a van that Takeshi borrowed from Hiro's aunt and set off to Fred's Manor. Once they arrived and called up their friends, they readied up the new suits and puts them on once they have arrived.

Once they got accustomed to the suits on them, they marveled at its slick and futuristic design. The jet black body along with their respective colors for the accents

I think they like the new suits Hiro commented as Fred and Honey Lemon continue jumping  Yeah, I'll say Takeshi said happily. Their moment however was soon ended when Heathcliff walked into the yard.

 Pardon my intrusion, Master Takeshi. But there are two women outside looking for you. Heathcliff warned Are those two women wearing uniforms while wearing a vest that says A.I.M.S? Takeshi asked sarcastically Yes, they are sir Heathcliff replied seriously causing Takeshi's mood to sour 

Urgh, great. I don't want to deal with them right now Takeshi complained I think I'll just go jump over your fence if you don't mind He said as the other looked at Takeshi determined Don't worry, we won't say a word you're here. Hiro said Thanks, man. Really means a lot Takeshi said before going through the tall bushes and exiting the manor. 

Heyo~! Izumi greeted as she and Saeko walked up to Hiro and the others We're looking for Takeshi, we were wondering if you have seen him? Saeko asked Why? What are you gonna talk about? Hiro pressed It's something between childhood friends is all. Izumi said 

I think you lost that title when you betrayed him Gogo spat at the A.I.M.S lieutenant Excuse me? Saeko asked rhetorically You hurt Takeshi more than you know. What kind of friend does that!? Honey exclaimed We were trying to protect him. Saeko defended And we're trying to protect him, too. Honey rebutted annoying Saeko Really? From who? 

From you! She stated, surprising Izumi and Saeko What are you talking about? Saeko asked You have no idea, do you? Wasabi asked He felt betrayed by what you did. He cared about you just as much as he cares about us. But then you took away the thing that makes him special, by his childhood friend no less,  I think it's best that you stayed in his childhood and never came back He continued bluntly, shocking Izumi and angering Saeko as she looked down on the ground.

Takeshi's father... Saeko began, confusing the others What about Takeshi's father? Hiro asked Did you ever wonder how he felt? When Takeshi left to study overseas, did you know how Takeshi's father felt. Well, do you!? Saeko shouted at them, forcing them to step back in surprise Mr. Hiden fell sick in worry! The only thing he cared about was his son's safety, to the point that he collapsed just thinking about the things that might go wrong She stated

But when we told him that we were being deployed to San Fransokyo he felt glad She continued Mr. Hiden entrusts us with Takeshi's safety and god forbid we are going to keep it. Do you think you are the only ones that care about him? We do too! Every single day we go out and help Humagears in need. That's what he would've done Saeko said her last words softly as she slowly calms down. Once she was approachable, an officer in A.I.M.S attire came up to the two of them.

Lieutenants, surveillance cameras have spotted Takeshi, he's over by National Park The officer reported Good, rendezvous on his position, we are to retrieve his driver immediately Saeko ordered as the officer saluted before going back to his squad. That was your goal from the start, wasn't it? His driver Gogo asked

This operation is strictly under A.I.M.S's jurisdiction Saeko stated If you try to get in the way of this operation, we will not hesitate to shoot you on sight She threatened before walking away along with Izumi who looked saddened before following close after her.

Do you think we did the right thing? Wasabi asked No matter what they think. Takeshi deserves to be free to make his decision, not someone that decides it for him Hiro stated before looking to the sky All up to you, Takeshi. 

In the self-made path of the park, Takeshi is seen strolling around. Admiring the nature around him as kids playing and the rustle of the leaves fills his ears. As he was strolling he suddenly hears a sound of distress, he looks at the source and sees a boy struggling to get his kite from a tree. 

Takeshi went up to the tree and climbed it until he was close enough to grab the kite. Once it was in his grasp, he carefully climbs down and hands the kite to the kid.

Thank you, mister! The kid said, bringing a smile to Takeshi's face No problem, kid He replied as he watches as the kid ran back to his parents and continued playing with his friend.  Him watching the scene unfold was interrupted when multiple patrol cars and armored vehicles parked around him as multiple A.I.M.S operatives storm out and surrounded him before pointing their guns at Takeshi

This doesn't have to be this way, you know Takeshi heard Saeko's voice behind him Do you ever look back to the good ol' days? Takeshi asked When the times were simpler back then, we would just play around and not have to worry about anything He continued as he heard Izumi's voice call back to him I always think about the old days too Take-kun, so this doesn't have to end this way.

We only want your SlashRiser, just stand down and hand it over peacefully Saeko demanded as Takeshi slowly turned around and met his childhood friends who were pointing their ShotRiser at him. So this is what you're after? Takeshi pondered as he pulled out his SlashRiser and held it in his right hand. If you want it so badly... 

Takeshi said as he points the SlashRiser at them defiantly, causing them to put their guard up, but soon eases up a bit when Takeshi flips the SlashRiser to his left hand as he held it invertedly before placing his other hand in front of his face. This gesture confuses the two Lieutenants before a bird screech is heard, forcing them to look up and see a flaming falcon circle around them before flying by Takeshi as a slightly altered version of the Burning Falcon ProgRise key appears in his hand 

Then you'll have to take it! Takeshi said menacingly. Sensing his defiance against them, Izumi and Saeko clipped the ShotRiser to their belt as they activate their ProgRise Key and began their transformation sequence to transform into their rider forms.

Dash!/Assault Bullet!  Authorize!/Overrise! Kamen! Rider! Kamen! Rider!

Henshin!

ShotRise! Rushing cheetah!/ Ready...go! Assault Wolf!

Takeshi with his modified ProgRise key activates it and flick it open before activating his own transformation sequence
