After Hiro came back to pick up the others, they made their way towards the island where Baymax found a match from his scan. While on the way Takeshi decided to have some fun with Gogo so he flew next to her, as she was sitting on Baymax's left shoulder

So...how's the view, huh? Especially with a certain someone? Takeshi said implying something What are you talking about? Gogo asked You know...Takeshi implied again as he nudged her shoulder while nodding towards Hiro How many times do I have to say that I do not have a crush on Hiro!? Gogo exclaimed quietly enough for Hiro to not hear

*pfft* Yeah right, as if you weren't taking side glances at him while he was working on your suit, especially near the- Takeshi was about to continue he narrowly avoided Gogo's frisbee causing Baymax to shake a bit scaring Wasabi Hey can you guys pull it together up there! This is scary enough as is! Wasabi exclaimed as Takeshi turned to Gogo as she caught her disk before snarking at Takeshi idiot...

...Tsun He clapped back Why you!! Gogo lunged at Takeshi as Baymax shook wildly again as Wasabi screamed wildly. Once they were settled down, they've reached the island and landed on a port which is surrounded by fences worrying Wasabi

Uhh...Do you guys know what Quarantine means? Wasabi wondered Quarantine, it is a state, period, or place of isolation in which people or animals that have arrived from elsewhere or been exposed to an infectious or contagious disease are placed. Baymax stated Oh, great! just great Wasabi grimace 

Guys, there's no need to be that careful Takeshi stated as Wasabi made a hole for their entry as they walk in "stealthy" while Takeshi just watched unamused You don't know what will happen, Takeshi Fred said There could be booby-traps, a giant boulder He began as Takeshi found a rope on the ground as Fred kept on going Crazy monkeys, or even

SNAKES!!! Takeshi exclaimed as Everyone started freaking out, tossing all of their gadgets around Ha! hahahahaha! Takeshi rolled around the ground laughing That was not cool dude! Fred said I know! But it was so Good!...Ahahaha*wheeze* Once Takeshi calmed down they continued their way until they reached a Wreckage inside a large room Whoa...What happened here? Honey Lemon asked I don't know, maybe in that room might tell us what happened Takeshi said as he led everyone to a control panel room and saw a recording on display. Hiro walked up to the security terminal and rewind the footage.

The recording showed Krei along with 4 government officials as they walk on a catwalk

"That's right. We were asked to do the impossible, and that's what we did Krei began as they stopped in front of two giant circular frames We've re-invented the definition of transportation. Friends, I present to you, Project: Silent Sparrow The frames then powered on as blue energy began filling inside the frames 

General, may I? Krei gestured to the general's cap before throwing it into the portal before appearing on the other side and caught by a scientist before throwing it back and appearing back into Krei's hands. Teleportation, the transport of matter instantaneously through space, not science fiction anymore. Krei stated as they walk back to the control panel 

Now we didn't spend millions in Taxpayer dollars to teleport hats. Ladies and Gentlemen, you're here to witness history.  He said before going to the intercom Ready to go for a ride, Abigail? Krei asked We've invited all these people, might as well give them a show Abigail replied as she sat in her cockpit T-30 seconds till launch The system announced. 

Sir, we've picked up a slight irregularity in the magnetic containment field one of the scientists in the control panel said Krei this is bad, even if it's a minor problem. It could cause a massive catastrophe in this experiment or worse Takeshi in a labcoat warned Krei Mr. Krei, is there a problem? The General asked  No, not at all. Everything is alright. Krei assured 

Hell no! Did you not hear what I said, we might be putting ourselves in danger here! Takeshi argued Young man, it's your superior's decision The general said No offense General, but our work has nothing to do with you, so frankly your opinion doesn't matter Takeshi replied Krei do you really need such insubordinate workers, knowing that you comply with such immaturity makes me uninterested in your project The General said as Krei was shaken before steeling himself No, not at all. Guards take him away Krei ordered as two guards took Takeshi out of the control room

Krei you've got to be kidding! Takeshi protested Now, let us move forward Krei said as he ignored Takeshi Krei!!! He howled before getting shut out of the room 

3...2...1...Pod engaged 

The pod that Abigail was launched towards the portal at high speeds, however, on the other portal, a massive explosion then the video before Krei ordered to shut everything down, before the video was cut off

After the recording was cut off Hiro and the others were shocked to see what happened as well as their friend on the surveillance Takeshi, that was-

Me, I know Takeshi interrupted I assume you guys have some questions.

Takeshi, what is 'Silent Sparrow'? Wasabi asked  It's essentially what you saw, but to put it simply...Portals Takeshi said  By traveling through the portal, you enter a pocket space that is filled with nothing unless there is another opening, but if even one opening has malfunctioned, let's say it blew up, then that opening becomes a wormhole that sucks anything in without a way of getting it out. 

But why are you a part of it? Honey asked I was apart of the research team that is tasked to do the impossible, and since I had nothing else to do I said 'Why not?' He explained as Hiro took the initiative and copied the surveillance recording. The government shut down Krei's experiment. Krei's the man behind the mask!! Hiro declared 

Uhh...guys, did someone ordered a massive slab of concrete? Takeshi asked catching everyone's attention Why? Gogo wondered BEcause one is coming right for us! Baymax!! Takeshi and the others then quickly took cover with Baymax taking most of the impact 

Is everyone alright? Hiro asked as everyone nodded Baymax, get us out of here He ordered as Baymax used his Rocket punch to break out of the concrete and face the man in the mask who threw it at them 

Go for the transmitter, behind his mask Hiro said as the man ordered his Microbots to attack them which Baymax blocked with a slab of concrete, but was quickly put out of commission Baymax! Hiro exclaimed as he ran up to check on him 

Ok, what's the plan? Wasabi asked It's Fred time Fred declared as he puts on his mask and attacked the man in the mask SUper jump! Gravity crush!! Fred lept up in the air and planned to body slam the man but he only swats him away with his Microbots Falling Hard!!

Seriously what's the plan? Wasabi frantically asked Get the mask Gogo stated as she charged in That is not a plan... Takeshi mumbled Right behind you!  Honey declared as she went after Gogo

Gogo began grinding on the railings and throwing her frisbee to keep on getting his attention, once she landed on an open area she twirled around and threw her disc directly at the man leaving him dazed but quickly recovered. 

She then continued to skate away from him as he gives chase after Gogo, while all this is happening Honey Lemon stealthily sneaks up to them, going pillar-to-pillar before making a blue chem ball and waiting for her opportunity to strike. 

Gogo weaved around the pillars  before skating up a wall and throwing her disc at the man in the mask but he just leaned out of the way and hitting Honey lemon instead who is about to throw her Chem ball but got struck by Gogo's disc causing her to let go of the chem ball making the ground beneath Gogo to be slippery causing her to slip and fall along with Honey Lemon

Hey! Wasabi called out as the man turned towards him menacingly Uhh, you wanna dance mask man?  cause you'll be dancing with these He said as he unleashed his plasma blades Hand over the mask or you'll get a taste of this! and a little bit of that! He threatened as he began swinging his blades around trying to look threatening, but the man instead aimed a dozen spikes made out of his Microbots as he sends them 3 at a time in rapid succession but Wasabi deflected all of them with precision and ease 

Hey, I did alright! That all you got?! Wasabi taunted before noticing the Microbots that he deflected quickly grabbing onto his legs Oh uhh, you got that too? The man then threw Wasabi away Back into the Fire- Fred exclaimed before getting knocked away by the thrown Wasabi and into Gogo and Honey's direction. The Man then  made a large mass of Microbots and was about to crush them but Takeshi flew into it, destroying it before floating above the man in the mask Ok Mr. Kabuki, Third time's the charm

Takeshi and the man began their stand-off before the man launched a bunch of Microbots at Takeshi who just flew at them using his wings to destroy them before grazing the man's coat. Recoiling from Takeshi's attack, he sends out multiple pillars of Microbot at Takeshi who uses the terrain around him to smoothly fly through them, picking them off one-by-one before going after the man again who launched a massive wave of Microbots at Takeshi, forcing him to use his Slashriser, pressing the Progrise key before pulling the trigger

Inferno WIng! バーニングレイン (Burning Rain)

Takeshi sent out three waves against the massive wave of Microbots, but he failed to notice the second wave behind him forcing him back pummeling to the ground. 

I'm...not...done! Takeshi declared as he slapped on the Slashriser, pressing the Progrise key again, before pulling the trigger

Inferno Wing!  バーニングレインラッシュ(Burning Rain Rush)

Takeshi holds his right hand back before jumping high in the air before setting his right foot ablaze as he flies towards the man in the mask, he frantically launched countless Microbots at Takeshi in hopes of stopping him, but they only burned to a crisp before hitting the man directly in the chest as he toppled further by Hiro who flew behind with Baymax but got hit by a stray pillar of Microbots sending them down a flight of stairs, it also caused the mask to be removed. Hiro quickly recovered and swipes the mask out of the floor

It's over, Krei Hiro stated as he stood over "Krei" victoriously. the man groggily stood up before turning to Krei revealing to be

Robert Callaghan

The reveal shocked Hiro and his friends while Takeshi turned weakly as his eyes widened in disbelief Professor Callaghan? But the explosion, you died! Hiro said No, I had your Microbots Callaghan stated Tadashi...you just let him die Hiro said solemnly Give me the mask Hiro! Callaghan demanded  He went in there to save you!! Hiro exclaimed That was his mistake!! Callaghan said causing Hiro to lose it, It's as if he was calling his presence Baymax stood behind Hiro Baymax! Destroy Hiro commanded shocking Callaghan My programming prevents me from injuring a human being Baymax said Not anymore Hiro opened the Access port and took out the chip that Tadashi made and threw it away Hiro, this does not what- Baymax shut down once Hiro closed the housing causing his system to shut down before booting up a different system his eyes changing from black to red 

Baymax, Destroy him!! Hiro commanded as Baymax followed as he launched his rocked fist at Callaghan who barely managed to evade it, but Bayamax didn't let up. Takeshi and the others tried to stop Baymax from hurting Callaghan by redirecting his Rocket fist to getting in his way, but in the end, was being swatted away by Baymax. Following Callaghan, in a narrow space, he tried to get away from Baymax, he began to wind up his Rocket Fist but Takeshi got in the way by kicking it out of the way and redirecting it to a nearby wall. Takeshi then began fighting Baymax, stalling time until Honey Lemon found Tadashi's chip, Takeshi tried his best to halt Baymax by disabling his sensors and wearing down his armor but Baymax punched him square in the chest and threw him into the stairs, forcing him out of his form.

Amidst the chaos, Callaghan grabbed the mask that Hiro dropped when he got hit by one of his friends that was thrown away before commanding his Microbots upwards and made his escape. Baymax was about to give chase but Honey placed the chip back in Baymax turning him back to normal 

My health care protocol has been violated Baymax stated as he helped Fred up  I regret any distress I may have caused He apologized How could you do that!! I had him! Hiro exclaimed as Baymax looked around the room What you just did, we never signed up for Wasabi said seriously We said we would catch the guy, that's it Gogo said irritatedly as Baymax went towards Takeshi and gave him a quick jolt of electricity Thanks Baymax Takeshi said as he turned to his side I never should have let you come with me Hiro exclaimed Baymax, find Callaghan!! He commanded as Baymax used his sensors My enhanced scanner has been damaged Baymax stated as Hiro sighed irritatingly as he climbed on Baymax's back completely ignoring Takeshi 

Wing! Baymax unveiled his wings before taking off. Wasabi and the others were in distress about the events that transpired as well as Hiro, they only snapped out of it when they heard Takeshi groaned painfully as they stopped thinking about it and went to help their friend. They helped him stand up, offering assistance when he needed it as he limped out of the room and into the entrance to where they came.

Hold on, I'll call Heathcliff Fred said as the rest tend to Takeshi's injured state I couldn't stop him Takeshi weakly said We know, and neither did we Honey Lemon said I should've stopped it before it got this far He mumbled Hey, no one saw this one coming and we're not blaming you for it Wasabi comforted just as they heard a Helicopter arrive above them Hey, our ride's here Fred said Come on, up and at em buddy Wasabi encouraged as he helped Takeshi to his feet and up the helicopter placing the Slashriser next to him. 

So where do we go from here? Fred asked Hiro's house, he should be there by this time. That's where we'll meet him Takeshi said We? No, no you're going to a hospital Gogo said We don't have time to go Takeshi protested Then we'll go talk to Hiro, you need rest Takeshi she said Fine... Takeshi said bitterly as he slouched down on his chair. We're close to Hiro's home, just right there is good enough Heathcliff Fred pointed out as the helicopter landed and they got out but leaving Takeshi Head to the nearest Hospital for my man Takeshi, ok Heathcliff? Fred said before the helicopter takes off. While flying Takeshi took a glance at the Slashriser beside him 

What seems to be troubling you sir? Heathcliff asked Nothing, just conflicted is all Takeshi shrugged Is it about the young Hamada? Heathcliff wondered Yeah, you see his brother was a good friend of me and Fred, we would always hang out together and have fun Takeshi began as he began reminiscing his old memories with Tadashi Times were always more simple back then 

Memory begins

Takeshi then recalled the first day when they began working on Baymax, They build the basic parts needed before they began their first testing.

This is Tadashi Hamada, and this is the first test of my robotics project Tadashi introduced 'Our' Robotics project Takeshi chimed in the background Our robotics project Tadashi corrected before booting up Baymax Hello, I am Baymax It began in a normal robotic voice before erupting in a painful electronic ringing 

They then began tinkering with Baymax until they're ready to start again

Did you double-check the Gyro-movements? Tadashi inquired Of course I did, I did it like 15 times already. Takeshi said as he turned on Baymax Hello, I am Baymax Baymax then began wildly hitting Takeshi in the face as he tried his best to block the on-going onslaught Tadashi a little help here! He frantically asked as Baymax's right arm popped, Tadashi tried to stop Baymax from attacking but instead has replaced Takeshi who managed to slip away to turn off the power on Baymax.

In the following days, Tadashi and Takeshi's lab was thrashed all over the place as their hair are disheveled and baggy eyes 

Tadashi Hamada again and this is the 33rd test Tadashi declared as Takeshi yawned in the background, but before they could begin the power to the whole lab was cut off Ugh! gotta go visit the breaker room...again Takeshi complained as Tadashi held a flashlight and inspects Baymax's sensors I'm not gonna give up on you big guy. You don't understand this yet, but people need you. So let's get back to work 

They kept tinkering and fixing and altering the coding of Baymax, day in and day out until one day Takeshi was on his way to his and Tadashi's lab until he heard cheersof joy coming from his lab What got you in a cheery mood? Takeshi asked as Tadashi turned to Baymax Come on buddy Tadashi nudged Baymax Hello, I am Baymax. Your personal Healthcare companion Baymax said without glitches or malfunction

We did it...We did it!!! Takeshi exclaimed as he began jumping around the lab along with Tadashi as all their hard work finally paid off Oh man, this calls for a celebration. Come on let's go grab something to eat Takeshi said as he grabbed Tadashi But didn't you already eat? HE asked Haha, not enough. 

But it was after that moment he remembered something crucial about their project.

Hey, let me ask you something Takeshi began When all is said and done, and it's time to throw in the towel in life. What would you leave behind? He asked What brought this on? Tadashi wondered Just...*sigh* Stuff That I need to get off my chest Takeshi puffed Well, I suppose Baymax could be my Legacy. Tadashi said A legacy that one day there will be numerous Baymaxes helping everyone in need. A bright future for all He said 

But who will you give it to? Takeshi wondered Well, to my younger brother, Hiro Tadashi said Can he handle it? I mean upholding a Legacy is a pretty tall feat if you ask me Takeshi pointed out as he took a sip of his drink in hand 

Not everyone is ready for it, it just takes time till they come to terms with it Tadashi stated But what if they're truly incapable of doing it? Will you give it to someone else, to someone who is more capable of doing so? Takeshi wondered It's not about who's capable of doing so, it's about who I truly trust the most. I know Hiro will have a hard time at first, but I want him to know that I trust him with my life to handle the legacy I'll leave behind. There's no other person for the job Takeshi began reflecting on what he has heard You know, Baymax could also be your Legacy, I mean you did help build it and all He added before throwing his drink away. A legacy huh? Am I truly ready? Takeshi mumbled A question for another day He said before throwing away his drink and heading out with Tadashi close by

Takeshi smiled as he reminisces the old days with Tadashi before standing up and grabbing his Slashriser

Sir, where are you going? Heathcliff asked as Takeshi opened the door of the helicopter There's something I need to do! You head home. Thanks, Heathcliff Takeshi said before jumping off the chopper before transforming and flying to the Hamada residence.

Once Takeshi arrived (not without breaking a knee or two) he noticed everyone's solemn expression and Gogo hugging Hiro break off from him as everyone turned to Takeshi as he de-transformed  

So, what did I miss? Takeshi rhetorically asked as Hiro walked up to him Takeshi, I know I'm not the person you want to talk to right now, considering everything that happened that led to this was my fault He led on I just want to say that I'm sorry for the things I've done to you. 

No biggie Takeshi replied nonchalantly That's it? No yelling or telling, nothing? Hiro asked Hiro, do you know that Tadashi left Baymax to you? Takeshi asked ignoring Hiro's question Y-yeah... Hiro replied Did you also know that he left his legacy along with it? 

His Legacy? Hiro pondered The Legacy of wanting to help others. You see, Baymax is built for that intended purpose, to heal and save lives Takeshi stated He wasn't made for destruction and neither are you, Hiro no matter what you did Tadashi always believed in you, he loves you, and even till death that love still shows through us, through Baymax. Do you understand? Takeshi asked as Hiro's eyes stared at him with Determination Yeah! He exclaimed So, wanna help me stop Callaghan, one last time? Takeshi turned to his friends who nod eagerly Thank you, everyone

But that still begs the question, how is Callaghan a part of all of this Hone asked It's simple really Takeshi states as he took the recording that Hiro copied and showed the part where Callaghan is hugging the pilot to the others 

This is how. Abigail Callaghan, the Pilot in the Silent Sparrow experiment and daughter of Robert Callaghan. Takeshi deduced as the rest were shocked That means Callaghan blames Krei for what happened Hiro exclaimed This is a revenge story!
