On the last day of November, it's been and is going to be a event filled day at the White House!

French President Emmanuel Macron, his wife Brigitte, and son Emmanuel II. (Aka Manu) arrived in the U.S. today! They'll be attending the White House State dinner hosted by Joe and Jill tomorrow night!

This morning, Vice President Harris and President Macron went to NASA headquarters in Washington DC to attend a meeting on French-US cooperation in Space.

As for Joe, he was at the White House Tribal Nations summit to deliver remarks. This was super important as multiple tribes are a huge part of American history and it's our job to be sure they are heard and catered to for years to come.

Later that afternoon, Kamala would also be going to the White House Tribal Nations Summit to deliver remarks. Jill would also be speaking at a Media Preview ahead of the state dinner tomorrow.

Everything would wrap up tonight with all three families going to the National Christmas Tree Lighting. Along with Joe, Jill, Emmanuel, and Brigitte going to dinner afterwards.

Now it's 12:30 pm and the motorcade just arrived back at the White House with Joe, Kamala, and Emmanuel in the SUVs.

Joe, Jill, Ivy, Emmanuel, Brigitte, Doug, Kamala, Devi, Manu and Jacob have all left the Oval Office after Joe, Kamala and Emmanuel had a few events during the morning.

Now everyone is heading to the White House Residence to have a nice lunch before Christmas festivities in the afternoon!

Jill is holding Ivy in her arms while Manu is holding Jacob and Devi's hands as they walk.

Ivy smiles big at Emmanuel, causing Emmanuel and Brigitte to smile back at her.

"Hello, pretty girl! Hello!" Emmanuel says in a babyfied voice at Ivy.

"Someone is finally feeling better! She got an ear infection right after Devi and it was rough!" Kamala says as she holds Doug's hand.

"Aw, poor sweet girl. Ear infections are rough, especially on little ones. Is she teething yet?" Brigitte asks Kamala.

"We don't see anything yet! I know sometimes teething can trigger ear pain but I think it was just a virus Devi and Jacob had and she just got it." Kamala explains to Brigitte.

Joe turns around, making sure Manu, Devi and Jacob are following behind. Manu is pulling Devi and Jacob along, trying to get the two fifteen month olds to walk faster.

"Manu, are you trying to get the boys to walk faster?" Joe asks Manu playfully.

"Sweety, don't pull on Devi and Jacob. They are little." Brigitte says to Manu in French with a giggle.

"Sorry, Maman." Manu says back to his mother in French and he stops pulling the boys along.

"That's my boy." Emmanuel says proudly.

"He's such a good listener and so respectful." Jill says as she bounces Ivy in her arms.

"We try our best. Although sometimes he gets the not listening trait from his father." Brigitte says while looking at her husband.

"Hey! Don't put all the blame on me. Like when Manu got caught eating chocolate Tiphaine gave him when you FaceTimed the kids. Sebastién and Laurence were quick to snitch on their sister!" Emmanuel playfully says back, causing all the adults to laugh.

"Do you want to be held, Jakey? Come here." Joe says as he picks up Jacob, groaning a little since Jacob is getting heavier.

Devi happily continues to walk to Manu, holding his hand.

"Are you holding Devi's hand? Good boy." Emmanuel says in French to Manu with a grin.

"Aww, so cute." Doug says happily.

"Hi, Ivy! Are you being carried by Nana? She loves you!" Kamala says in a babyfied voice, causing Ivy to smile.

"She's a princess who gets whatever she wants! Including all the cuddles in the world!" Jill says as she kisses Ivy's forehead.

Not long after, everyone makes it to the White House Residence and head to the living room.

"Doggies! Kitty!" Manu says as he points at Major, Comamnder and Willow.

Major and Commander are sitting in their dog beds while Willow is sitting on the couch.

"They are very nice, you can pet them if you like." Joe says to Manu with a grin.

Manu walks over to Willow since he hasn't seen many cats in his life.

"That's Willow! And the dogs names are are Major and Commander! I heard you have a dog!" Jill says to Manu with a big smile.

"Uh huh! Nemo!" Manu says as he dances as he softly pets Willow.

Manu then walks over to pet Commander and Major before he walks over to sit on the floor with Jacob and Devi.

"Those boys are so sweet. I think Manu has made a lot of friends in America especially over the past year." Kamala says as they watch the boys play together.

"I agree!" Doug says in agreement with his wife.

Ivy then starts to get fussy, causing the adults to frown.

"What's wrong, Ivy?" Jill says while bouncing her in her arms.

Ivy looks at Brigitte, indicating that she wants her.

"You want Brigitte to hold you? Is that it?" Jill asks the four month old.

"Come here, sweetheart." Brigitte says in French as she holds her hands out and Jill passes Ivy to her.

Emmanuel smiles, watching Brigitte hold a baby, something he absolutely loves especially now since Brigitte is pregnant with their second child, a fact only the two of them know.

Ivy tries to grab at Emmanuel's nose, causing Brigitte to giggle. All children love to talk or play with Emmanuel's nose.

"My nose is all kids favorite thing! Isn't it?" Emmanuel says to Ivy as Ivy babbles happily.

"She loves my nose too!" Doug says as he laughs.

"Let's pway cars, Jakey and Devi!" Manu says in French to Jacob and Devi, causing both toddlers to be very confused.

Emmanuel laughs at Devi and Jacob's confusion and then at Manu's confusion.

"Manu, Jacob and Devi don't understand French. They only know English and are learning to talk. They don't know two languages like you do, so try to speak English to them." Emmanuel says in French to Manu.

"It is so amazing to see a little one be bilingual and know how to speaks both languages with ease. I wish I was." Joe says to Brigitte and Emmanuel.

"I think it was easy since Brigitte and I both know several languages very fluently ourselves. Manu already knows French since birth but we wanted him to learn English too, since we go to a lot of English speaking countries." Emmanuel says to Joe.

"Jacob and Devi know some sign language! Just a few signs. But Kamala and I want to teach Jacob and Devi another language, either Spanish or French!" Jill says and Kamala nods in agreement.

"I know a little bit of Hindi and Doug knows some Hebrew." Kamala says as Doug smiles.

"Doug is Jewish, right? Does that mean you all celebrate Hanukkah?" Brigitte asks curiously.

"Yes and we do! Devi's first Hanukkah was in 2021. It started in November last year and Ivy's first Hanukkah will be next month! Devi really enjoyed the week, despite Kamala and I trying to keep him from touching the lit candles." Doug says with a smile.

"Little kids are curious. What can you do?" Emmanuel says while shrugging his shoulders.

"All you can do is teach them right from wrong. What's dangerous and what's not." Jill answers in response.

Manu, Jacob and Devi giggle loudly as they play with the cars some more.

Ivy looks at Brigitte's necklace and tries to grab it.

"Uh oh, do you love jewelry sweet girl? Jewelry is my favorite!" Brigitte says in a babyfied voice, causing Ivy to smile. 

"Oh, she LOVES to play with my pearl necklaces!" Kamala says as he laughs.

"Let's get some wine! To celebrate the United States and France's relationship and to celebrate the state dinner tomorrow night!" Jill says as she walks out of the living room to get some wine and some wine glasses.

"Mm, that sounds good! Good thing I pumped earlier so Ivy can have some milk and I can drink some!" Kamala says with a chuckle.

"I'm going to get an orange Gatorade!" Joe says with a smile.

"Oooooo!" Ivy says with a smile.

"It'll still be a couple years before you can drink it, little one. When you're old enough, Pop will let you have some. Deal?" Joe asks Ivy and she smiles big at Joe.

"Yup! Ivy is a Pop girl! Joe gives her whatever she wants." Kamala says as she grabs Ivy's hand and the adults laugh.

"And don't you forget it. I'll be back. Stay out of trouble." Joe says as he kisses Ivy and walks out.

Joe and Jill walk out of the living room to get the water, Gatorade and wine for everyone.

"Vrooooom!" Devi yells as he plays with his car happily.

"Beeeeep!" Jacob yells back happily.

Manu then makes some car noises, causing Devi and Jacob to both laugh.

Brigitte and Emmanuel both look at each other trying to figure out if they should announce her pregnancy or not.

"You can't have wine you know, Chérie." Emmanuel says in French in a not so whisper and Brigitte gives him a look.

"I know I can't, silly. I'm expecting our second baby after all." Brigitte whispers in French as she kisses her husband.

"And what are you two love birds talking about?" Kamala says while being nosy.

"Um, nothing. Just something special we're going to share later." Emmanuel says without giving the surprise away.

Ivy looks at Emmanuel, wanting to be held by him.

"I think she wants me, Chérie." Emmanuel says as Brigitte smiles.

"Here's Emmanuel, Ivy! There he is." Brigitte says, handing Ivy to Emmanuel.

"Hi, Ivy. You're so beautiful. Just like your mama." Emmanuel says in French and he kisses Ivy's cheek.

"Aaaaa!" Ivy yells, loving all the attention she's getting from the President of France.

Not long after that Joe and Jill return with the water, wine and wine glasses and Joe's Gatorade.

"What's going on here? I heard Ivy making some noise!" Joe asks playfully.

"Well, she's loving all this attention she's getting from Emmanuel." Kamala says with a smile.

"Watch out, Joe. Between him and Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, you might have some competition for who her favorite world leader is. I'm already in competition with you as it is." Doug says and the six adults laugh at his statement.

Jill puts wine glasses in front of Emmanuel, Brigitte, Kamala and Doug before she tries to get the wine open.

"Manu! Jakey! Devi! I got all of you some apple juice to enjoy!" Joe says as he hands the boys each a sippy cup.

"Aaaa!" Devi and Jacob both yell with big smiles as they each grab a sippy cup to enjoy.

"What do you say, Manu?" Emmanuel says to Manu in French, making sure Manu uses his manners.

"Thank you!" Manu says in French to Joe as he begins to drink his apple juice.

"He says thank you." Brigitte says with a smile.

"You are very welcome!" Joe says happily.

Emmanuel then types a note on his phone and shows Jill. The note says to pour water in Brigitte's glass, not wine. Jill nods her head yes in response even though she was confused at the request because she knows Brigitte loved wine.

After pouring their drinks in the glasses, Joe proposes a toast.

"A toast to the U.S.A and France. May our bond continue to be strong for years to come!" Joe says with pride as they raise their glasses up.

"Cheers!" Jill, Kamala, Doug, Emmanuel and Brigitte say in unison as they all clink glasses with each other.

"Mmmm!" Devi and Jacob say in unison as they drink their apple juice.

"Is it good, boys?" Jill asks them and Devi and Jacob both nod their heads in response.

"Children grow up so fast." Brigitte says as she looks at Manu, happily drinking his apple juice along with Devi and Jacob.

"They really do." Kamala says in response.

Suddenly, Brigitte starts to feel nauseous and quickly puts her wine glass filled with water down.

"Whoa! Brigitte, are you okay?" Jill asks with a worried look as she goes to her and grabs Brigitte's hand.

"I'm fine. Just feeling a little nauseous. But I'm okay." Brigitte says while looking pale.

"We'll take you to the restroom just in case. Don't want to take any chances of you throwing up all over the place. We'll be back." Kamala says as she and Jill help Brigitte get up and the three ladies walk out of the living room.

"Where Maman go?" Manu asks, looking for his mom right away.

"Maman will be right back! She's okay!" Emmanuel says to Manu.

"Is Brigitte okay? Did she eat something bad before coming?" Joe asks Emmanuel with concern.

"No, she's pregnant -" Emmanuel says as he stops in his tracks realizing he just spoiled the beans on accident.

Emmanuel and Brigitte agreed to announce the pregnancy, but together.

"Oh! Congratulations!" Doug says as he claps his hands and smiles at Emmanuel.

"That's amazing news, Emmanuel! Congratulations to you and Brigitte! Now I see why you told Jill no wine for her!" Joe says with a proud smile.

"Yes! I didn't want her to drink it by accident. It's going to be a while before she can have some again. I know she misses it but it's well worth it." Emmanuel says with a smile.

Joe and Doug giggle at Ivy who's trying to touch Emmanuel's face.

"It seems that my daughter is very fond of you." Doug says with a smile.

"And I'm fond of her too." Emmanuel responds as he and Ivy rub noses like eskimos, causing Ivy to smile.

"Sweet girl." Joe says as he records a video of the two.

But Ivy, not seeing her Mommy, starts to worry about where she is.

"Mommy is coming back! She's coming back, sweet girl. Mommy, Nana and Miss Brigitte are coming back." Doug says to Ivy, calming his baby girl.

"Beep beep!" Manu says loudly as he pushes a few cars on the floor, causing Jacob and Devi to laugh.

"Manu loves entertaining those boys so much." Emmanuel says with a smile.

"Agreed." Joe says in response.

A few minutes later, their wives return from the bathroom, getting caught up in conversation.

"How are you feeling, Chérie?" Emmanuel says in French as he kisses his wife.

"I feel better! Luckily I didn't get sick." Brigitte says in French as she smiles at Emmanuel.

"Emmanuel and Brigitte are having another baby, ladies!" Joe says to Kamala and Jill with a happy grin.

Brigitte gives Emmanuel a look, knowing her husband spoiled the beans without her.

"It just came out. I apologize, Chérie. You know how excited I am." Emmanuel says in French to Brigitte, pouting his lip, something Brigitte always adores.

"It's okay, we were going to tell them anyway." Brigitte says in French as he grabs Emmanuel's hand and places it on her stomach.

"I cannot believe that very soon I am going to have two kids with my beautiful wife. I knew when Brigitte and I got together that we didn't want or plan to have any children. I fought hard to be with the love of my life and Brigitte did too. I love Laurence, Tiphaine and Sébastien just like they are own and I am an extremely proud Daddy to their seven children. But with Manu and this baby on the way, we can't imagine life without them." Emmanuel says as he can't help but smile, causing Brigitte to smile too.

"Between Manu and my three adult children, this little one will break the tie!" Brigitte says with a giggle.

"You see, Ivy? You're gonna have another baby friend." Kamala says to her with a smile and Ivy smiles back.

Brigitte takes Ivy's little hand and places it on her small baby bump that's barely noticeable and Ivy babbles happily.

"Brigitte, are you hoping this baby is a girl?" Jill asks curiously.

Emmanuel then picks up Ivy and holds her in his arms, letting her "jump" on his lap as he lifts her up and down, causing her to squeal happily.

"I'll be very happy either way. We just want a healthy baby and smooth pregnancy, that's all Emmanuel and I want. I had a smooth pregnancy and birth with Manu, so I hope for the same this time. Everything is going well thus far. A little girl would be so much fun and Emmanuel and I have a few girl names we like but as for boy names we have none so a girl would be easier that way." Brigitte explains to everyone with a chuckle.

"Boys are fun too!" Emmanuel says playfully to his wife, causing Joe, Jill, Kamala and Doug to all laugh loudly.

"Oh, they are. It's been so long since Sébastien was Manu's age. Manu is such a sweet and loving boy but he has an attitude sometimes like his father." Brigitte says playfully as Emmanuel rolls his eyes before smiling at Brigitte.

Emmanuel just shakes his head at his wife's statement.

"Just got a message from one of the chefs. Lunch is ready and we can go to the dining room!" Joe says happily.

"Great! Because I'm hungry." Brigitte says playfully, causing the adults to chuckle.

"She's right. We gotta keep this mama-to-be and her baby fed." Kamala says as she reaches to grab Doug's hand.

"Boys! It's time for lunch. We gotta put the toys away!" Jill says to Devi, Jacob, and Manu.

"Oui, Mrs. Biden!" Manu says respectfully and starts putting the toys back in the toy box.

Once Devi and Jacob see what Manu is doing, they copy him, causing the adults to all awe.

Joe, Jill, Kamala, Doug, Brigitte, Emmanuel, Ivy, Manu, Jacob and Devi all walk into the dining room!

Joe feeds Willow, Commander and Major their lunches before walking over to the dining table. 

"Kitty and dogs eating!" Manu says with a giggle.

"That's right! Willow, Major and Commander are having their lunch with us!" Jill says as she puts Jacob in his high chair.

Doug puts Devi in his high chair that's next to Jacob's highchair!

Emmanuel sits Ivy in his lap and Ivy begins to fuss.

"Shh shh, it's okay! It's okay!" Emmanuel says as he rocks Ivy.

"Mommy is making you a bottle! I'm almost done!" Kamala says as she gets the bottle ready.

"Love you, Ivy!" Manu says as he leans over and kisses her on the forehead, calming her down.

"You're so sweet, Manu." Brigitte says as she kisses her son on the cheek.

"Merci, Maman." Manu says with a smile.

"He's setting a good example for the boys just like he did putting the toys away." Jill says proudly.

"We try our best." Emmanuel says as he continue to rock Ivy.

"Question. The National Christmas Tree lighting is tonight. Would you three like to come?" Joe asks with a smile.

"We'd love to. Wouldn't we, my dear?" Brigitte asks her husband in French.

"Yes This wasn't exactly part of the itinerary for today, but Brigitte and I will ask our agents if it's okay. It'll be a good experience for Manu to learn about more American holiday traditions." Emmanuel says while looking at his son.

"What's going on here?" Kamala says as she walks over and gives Emmanuel the bottle.

"Joe asked the Macrons if they want to come with us to the National Christmas Tree lighting tonight." Doug says with a smile.

"They'll ask their security agents after lunch, but they'll likely say yes. We shall see." Jill answers in response.

Emmanuel smiles at Ivy as he begins to feed her the bottle.

Just then, White House staff brings in lunch for everyone!

Jill, Joe, Kamala, Doug, Brigitte and Emmanuel are having a garden salad with steak frites!

Manu is having grilled cheese, French fries and tomato soup. Jacob and Devi are also having grilled cheese and French fries but no soup since they are still learning how to use silverware.

"Do you want me to finish feeding Ivy, Emmanuel?" Kamala asks Emmanuel and Emmanuel shakes his head no.

"No, I got it! I've had plenty of practice with my seven grandchildren and Manu!" Emmanuel says proudly as he continues to feed Ivy and feed himself.

"Wow, you're a multitasker!" Jill says while looking impressed.

"As the President of France, I kinda had to be. Especially since Brigitte and I had our son almost four years ago." Emmanuel explains.

"Oh, I almost forgot. We all have presents for Manu!" Kamala says happily.

"Oooo, presents!" Manu says as he wipes his mouth.

"That's right, Manu. You're getting some Christmas and birthday presents from them early! How exciting!" Brigitte says to her son in French.

"Your birthday is very soon, Manu! A few more weeks!" Emmanuel says to Manu, causing Manu to smile. 

"Yeah! Excited!" Manu says as he giggles and smiles.

"I've been planning his fourth birthday party. I still cannot believe he is going to be four!" Brigitte says as she sips on her water.

"Kids grow up so fast. Jacob and Devi are almost a year and a half and they are acting more like toddlers than babies." Joe says as he watches Devi and Jacob eat their lunch all on their own.

"Are you all done your bottle, sweet girl? Hmm?" Emmanuel says as Ivy with a sweet smile.

"She drank that whole thing!" Brigitte says with a smile as Emmanuel begins to gently burp Ivy on his shoulder.

"She's very good about drinking her bottles. Devi too! She's a great nurser as well." Kamala says with a grin.

"Manu loved to nurse and I'm excited to hopefully nurse our new baby. I've nursed all of my children." Brigitte says proudly.

"I nursed Ashley but Jacob I never got any milk so Jacob drank formula. He needed a certain kind because he has a sensitive tummy. And thankfully, he took Kamala's breastmilk when the United States experienced a formula shortage." Jill explains.

"Formula shortage?! I think I remember. When did that happen again?" Brigitte says with a shocked look on her face.

"All the way back in May. Formula companies had baby formula recalled due to babies becoming sick or worse. The shortage took its toll on everyone in the Untied States, including the four of us." Joe explains.

"Heck, we had family and friends searching around for formula in the states they lived in for us! Definitely a memorable time." Doug says while giving the side eye.

"We got it all sorted out and in a matter of weeks, baby formula supply was back on track again. But we're still reeling from it over six months later." Kamala says.

Ivy suddenly burps, causing everyone to laugh.

"Well, excuse you princess!" Kamala says as Ivy turns her head and yawns.

"I think someone's ready for n-a-p time." Jill says with a smile.

"Why did you spell it out, Jill?" Emmanuel asks curiously.

"Because if we say the actual word, Devi and Jacob know what it means. And that time of day can be difficult." Jill explains while pointing at Devi and Jacob.

"Got it! I think we might start doing that." Brigitte says while winking at her husband.

About half an hour later, everyone's done with their lunch. However, all three boys start to yawn in their chairs.

"I spy with my little eye three sleepy boys." Brigitte says in French.

"I'll be right back. Love you, Jilly." Joe says as he kisses Jill and goes to get one of Manu's gifts he can use right now.

"Jill, look at the time! It's 2:30 and we gotta get to our events this afternoon!" Kamala says softly with excitement.

"You ladies get out of here and we'll see you later today." Doug says as he kisses Kamala on the lips and Jill on the cheek.

The two ladies kiss their babies and Manu goodbye before heading downstairs hand in hand.

"How about we put these kids down for n-a-p time? They'll be able to enjoy the Christmas tree lighting tonight if they're rested." Emmanuel says as he looks down at a somewhat sleepy Ivy.

"You're right. We don't want them to be unhappy later." Doug says as he gets Devi out of his high chair and hold him close.

"There's Joe. He's coming back now." Brigitte says as she gets Manu to sit in her lap.

"Manu. Here's one gift you can use right now since it's about to be that time." Joe says as he hands the gift to Manu and goes to get Jacob out of his high chair.

Brigitte and Manu reach into the gift bag and pull out a pair of pajamas.

*Manu's pajamas*

"Look at that. A pair of Paris themed Pajamas." Emmanuel says with a chuckle.

"Wow!" Manu says softly with excitement.

"What do you say to President Biden, Manu?" Brigitte asks her son in French.

"Merci Beaucoup, Monsieur President." Manu answers back in French.

"He says thank you very much, Mr. President." Brigitte says to Joe.

"You're welcome. He'll be more comfortable sleeping in these and he won't mess up the clothes he's wearing now." Joe says with a smile.

"You always seem to know exactly what kids need." Doug says with a smile.

"Well, that's what happens when you become a Dad in your 70s and have some more grandchildren on top of that." Joe says with a chuckle.

"Are you getting sleepy, Manu?" Brigitte asks her son softly.

Manu nods his head yes in response.

"Let's go get these kids changed into some more comfy clothes. They'll be able to sleep better." Doug says softly with a smile.

"Let's go, Manu." Brigitte says in French as she gets out of the chair and mom and son walk together holding hands.

Emmanuel gets a message from one of his agents, saying he, Brigitte, and Manu can go to the national Christmas tree lighting tonight.

Emmanuel looks on his shoulder and sees Ivy is now fast asleep.

"She fell asleep." Emmanuel says softly as he carefully hands her to Doug.

"Then I won't change her clothes then, don't want to wake her up." Doug says as he lays Ivy in the pack 'n' play to nap.

Doug gets Devi in his pajamas while Joe gets Jacob in his pajamas.

Brigitte helps Manu put on his pajamas.

"I'm not sleepy." Manu says to Brigitte even though he just told his parents he was, typical three year old.

"Well, you don't have to fall asleep. You can just rest." Brigitte says as Manu lays on the couch.

Devi and Jacob climb on the other couch and lay together.

"The next time we come get you kids, it'll be time to go light up the national Christmas tree." Joe softly says with excitement as he covers the boys up with blankets.

Devi and Jacob smile at that statement, but then they yawn and finally fall asleep.

And despite saying he's not sleepy, Manu goes to sleep too.

"We'll see you soon, babies. Sweet dreams." Brigitte says as she Emmanuel, Joe, and Doug all leave the main living room.

The rest of the day, Joe, Jacob, Jill, Doug, Kamala, Devi, Ivy, Emmanuel, Manu and Brigitte all hang out together, enjoying the Christmas festivities together! :)
