"You were a hungry boy this morning, weren't you? Yes, you were! Mmm! Is Mama's milk yummy, Devi? I'm sure it is! I never tried it but I know you love it a lot. You have the best Mama ever, Devi. She love you and me so so much." Doug says as he feeds Devi his bottle in the recliner in the living room.

Devi happily babbles as Doug makes Kamala's special birthday breakfast.

"Today is Mama's birthday, Devi! Yes, it is! We are going to spoil her today because she deserves it. She is the greatest Mama ever, isn't she?" Doug says to Devi and Devi babbles, causing Devi to smile.

*Devi's birthday onesie with dark blue pants*

"Let's go upstairs and see Mama! Yay! Let's go see, Mama!" Doug says as manages to hold the breakfast tray and Devi at the same time.

Doug and Devi both walk up the steps together and walk into the master bedroom, where Kamala is sitting up in bed talking to Meena, Nik, Amara and Leela!

"Happy birfday, Auntie!" Leela and Amara both say in unison to Kamala happily causing Kamala to awe loudly.

"Thank you so so much, girlies! Auntie misses you both so so much! Uncle Doug, Devi and I are flying to California for Thanksgiving!" Kamala says, causing Amara and Leela to get very excited.

"I hope you have a great birthday today, Auntie!" Meena says happily to Kamala and Kamala smiles at her.

"And I hope you have a great birthday too, Meena! You better spoil her, Nik!" Kamala says with a big smile at her only niece Meena and her husband Nik.

"I will! Don't worry! And I hope Uncle Doug spoils you too!" Meena says to Kamala.

"Oh he already is! Devi too!" Kamala says as she looks up and sees Doug and Devi.

*Kamala's birthday breakfast with orange juice*

"Aw, Uncle Doug and Devi made me breakfast in bed! See?" Kamala says, showing Amara, Leela, Meena and Nik Doug and Devi standing together.

"Say hi, Devi!" Doug says as Devi coos at the iPhone and smiles a little at Meena, Amara, Leela and Nik. 

"Oh my gosh he babbles already? STOP GROWING!" Meena yells playfully at Kamala and Kamala giggles.

"Hi, Devi!" Amara and Leela both say in unison, waving at Devi.

Kamala, Doug and Devi talk with Meena, Nik, Amara and Leela for a few more minutes before ending the call.

Kamala smiles at Doug and kisses him a few times before Doug hands Devi to Kamala.

"Happy birthday beautiful. I love you so so so much." Doug says with a grin, kissing Kamala's cheek.

"Thank you, sweety. I love you too!" Kamala says as she smiles and blushes at Doug.

Devi coos and smiles at Kamala and Kamala smiles at her baby boy, kissing his cheeks.

"Hi, baby! Hi! You are a Mama's boy, aren't you? Yes, you are!" Kamala says in a babyfied voice at Devi and Devi smiles at his Mama.

"Look at his onesie!" Doug says as Kamala holds Devi and reads his onesie that says "Happy Birthday To The Best Mom"

"Aww! I love it! I love it so so much! Thank you! It's sooo cute!" Kamala says with a cheeky grin at both Doug and Devi.

"Enjoy your breakfast, honey. I did my best." Doug says, kissing Kamala's cheek, causing Kamala to smile.

"You did great, honey. Thank you! I am such a lucky girl with two boys who love her so much." Kamala says, kissing Doug a few times.

Kamala then happily eats her breakfast while Doug and Devi talk with her and spoil her rotten!

After eating her breakfast, Doug gets her birthday presents!

"Let me get your birthday presents, I'll be right back beautiful." Doug says with a small grin as he leaves the bedroom.

Kamala sits Devi in her lap and holds him close to her, giving him lots of kisses.

"I love you, baby boy. Mama loves you. Thank you for making my life even better than it is. You are Mama's boy, yes you are. You and Daddy are so happy to be your parents." Kamala says as she kisses Devi's cheeks and Devi smiles up at her.

Just then, Doug walks back into the master bedroom with a bouquet of flowers in one arm and a birthday bag in another arm!

"Aww, Dougie! Thank you for the flowers! They are gorgeous! Thank you, baby!" Kamala says as she kisses Doug a few times.

*Birthday presents from Devi and Doug*

"They smell really really good!" Doug says with a big grin at Kamala and Kamala smiles back at him.

"They do! Mmm! Do you smell them, Devi?" Kamala says as she smells the bouquet of flowers and Devi just stares at them.

"Here are your birthday presents from Devi and I. I know it's not much but -" Doug says as he is interrupted by Kamala.

"Stop it right there. You don't need to buy me anything. You already do so much for me and for Devi and I am the luckiest woman in the world being married to you. I love you." Kamala says as he rubs Doug's face and smiles at him before kissing him.

"I love you too." Doug says with a cheeky grin at Kamala.

Kamala hands Devi to Doug to hold while she opens up her birthday presents from the both of them!

Kamala first pulls out the two gifts that Doug and Devi made together, which is two things with his footprints. Kamala's favorite thing to do with Devi is kiss and tickle his feet.

"Oh my goodness! Aww! These little paint is adorable! When did you do this?" Kamala asks Doug, admiring the heart shaped painting Devi did with his feet.

"The other day! The paint was a pain in the ass to get off of his feet! But he didn't wittle or anything when I did it!" Doug says as he laughs and Kamala laughs too.

Kamala then pulls out the heart shaped clay project with Devi's footprint and handprint.

"Aw I love this, Dougie! This is so precious! Thank you, Devi! Thank you, baby boy! You have made this birthday so special already!" Kamala says as she kisses Devi's cheek a few times and Devi happily babbles at her.

Finally, Kamala pulls out the last present, this one is from Doug! Kamala opens up the black box and sees a bracelet with Devi's birthstone which is Peridot!

"Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness. This is so beautiful! This is Devi's birthstone right?" Kamala asks Doug and Doug nods.

"Mhm! It is Devi's birthstone." Doug says as he and Kamala tenderly kiss each other a few times.

"Thank you so much for everything, Dougie. This birthday has been amazing so far!" Kamala says as she hugs Doug tightly and then she holds Devi again, holding him close to her and giving him lots of kisses.

Doug, Kamala and Devi all cuddle in bed with each other for a little while, before they get dressed and ready to head to the White House for a birthday lunch for Kamala!

Two Hours Later
Kamala and Doug are going to get dressed and ready first for Kamala's birthday lunch at the White House with Joe and Jill, while Devi watches Cocomelon in the master bedroom, something Ella got him into watching when she was over last time.

Kamala and Doug don't know if Devi is really watching the show or just really enjoys listening to the music and the colors in the show.

Kamala gets dressed and ready first while Doug is shaving his face in the bathroom. Doug only has his jeans on but is shirtless while he shaves his face.

Kamala walks into the master bathroom and smiles ear to ear at Doug, admiring his shirtless body.

"You look very handsome this afternoon, Dougie." Kamala says as she wraps her arms around Doug's waist and she kisses his shoulder a few times.

"Why, thank you beautiful! You look absolutely gorgeous as always, birthday girl." Doug says to Kamala making her blush and smile.

"Aw, thank you, Dougie." Kamala says softly as she continues to hug Doug.

After Doug finishes shaving and cleaning his face, Kamala begins to rub his face, something she really likes to do because she loves how smooth Doug's face is after shaving.

"Mmm clean shaven, so hot Dougie." Kamala says as she rubs Doug's cheeks and smiles.

"And you are so hot too, Kam." Doug says as he and Kamala kiss each other a few times before Doug finishes getting ready!

After Doug finishes getting ready for the birthday lunch, he walks over to the nursery and sees Kamala getting Devi dressed and ready!

Doug smiles and giggles as he hears Kamala singing to Devi while she gets him dressed.

"I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas! I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas!" Kamala says as she tickles Devi's tummy, causing Devi to giggle and smile.

Doug then walks over to Kamala and Devi and Devi looks up at Doug and coos at him, causing Kamala to turn around.

"Dougie! You scared me!" Kamala says with a chuckle as she kisses Doug.

"I see little man is all ready to go!" Doug says, picking up Devi and holding him close.

*Devi's birthday outfit*

"He might get hot with this hat on, but it matches the outfit so well!" Kamala says with a proud smile on her face.

"Who got him this outfit? It's so cute." Doug says with a chuckle as he holds Devi in his arms.

"Meena and Nik! Nik picked out the shoes." Kamala says with a chuckle and Doug smiles.

After the family of three get dressed and ready for the birthday lunch, Kamala, Doug and Devi leave the Naval Observatory to walk over to the White House.

Kamala and Doug hold each other's hands while Doug also holds Devi in his arms. Devi coos happily as he looks at his Mama.

"Hi, baby! You are such a cutie pie just like your Daddy! Yes you are!" Kamala says in a babyfied voice making Devi smile.

"Happy birthday, Madam Vice President!" The press all say in unison to Kamala, making Kamala smile and blush.

"Thank you all very much!" Kamala says to the press as she waves at them and so does Doug.

"How has your birthday been, Madam Vice President?" A lady asks Kamala.

"It has been great! I have been spending it with my husband and my son and now we are going to have lunch with the President, the First Lady and their son, Jacob." Kamala says with a smile.

Doug smiles at all of the press and he waves Devi's little hand as he smiles, causing the press to awe loudly.

Kamala, Doug and Devi all happily walk over to the White House and walk inside!

Kamala, Doug and Devi all walk over to the residential part of the White House and Doug knocks on the door.

Jill answers the door, still wearing her apron. Kamala and Doug can both hear Jacob crying as Jill opens the front door.

"Hi, Kamala and Doug! And hi, Devi! Hi, baby boy! It is so nice to have all of you here! And happy birthday Kamala!" Jill says and opens her arms to greet the three of them with a big hug.

Jill then smiles and waves at Devi, causing Devi to babble and smile at her.

"Thank you so much for inviting us! It is so sweet of you both to have this special lunch for me!" Kamala says and hugs Jill again, before walking inside to let Doug and Devi also get through the door.

"Of course! Joe and I have been wanting to invite you all over for lunch and your birthday was a perfect day to do it!" Jill says with a big smile.

Doug hugs Jill again and Jill gives Devi a little kiss on the head, before she closes the door behind them.

"How's my little grandson?" Jill asks Doug and looks at Devi, holding his little hand.

"He's doing fantastic! He has grown so much lately and he also loves to babble and smile." Doug says and smile down at Devi.

"I think he has missed his Nana and Pop though. He seems so much happier now that we've come here." Kamala says to Jill, also smiling at Devi.

"You missed, Nana! Aww, I bet you did! Nana loves you!" Jill says in a babyfied voice at Devi and Devi babbles happily again.

Joe then walks into the room, carrying a happier Jacob in his arms.

*Jacob's outfit*

"Hi, everyone!" Joe says and uses Jacob's little hand to wave.

"Hello, Mr. President." Doug says, copying Joe's move with Devi's hand.

"Hello, boss! And hi, Jacob." Kamala says, stroking Jacob's leg as she hugs Joe.

"You both know to call me Joe when we are home like this." Joe tells both Kamala and Doug.

"We know, but you also deserve your title." Kamala says, her eyes stuck on Jacob.

"Why was Jacob crying, honey?" Jill asks Joe as she fixes Jacob's little hat he has on.

"I woke him up to change his diaper. Little man loves his sleep and doesn't like to be interrupted." Joe says with a chuckle.

Joe hands Jacob to Jill and Joe opens his arms wanting to hold Devi.

"Come to Pop! Come to Pop!" Joe says as Doug hands Devi to Joe.

Devi babbles a little at Joe and Joe smiles back at him.

"You are heavier compared to your cousin!" Joe says, causing everybody to laugh.

Jacob then babbles some, causing Jill, Joe, Kamala and Doug to all smile at him.

"Look at him babbling! Aww!" Kamala says on a babyfied voice with a big cheeky smile at Jacob.

"He started babbling the other day. Joe has been trying to get him to smile." Jill says as she kisses Jacob's cheek.

"He will smile when he is ready! It looks like he almost has it!" Kamala says as she smiles at Jacob and Jacob babbles at her.

"Say happy birthday, Auntie Kamala! Today is her birthday! Yay!" Jill says as Jacob finally smiles.

"He smiled, Jilly! Look!" Joe says, causing Kamala and Doug to both cheer.

"You did it, baby! Yay!" Jill says in a babyfied voice at Jacob and Jacob smiles at his Mommy.

"Thank you, Jacob! That was some birthday present." Kamala proudly says to Jacob and smiles at him.

"They're both growing up so so fast." Doug says looking at Devi and then at Jacob.

"Yeah I know! It's crazy! I can't believe it's been two months since he scared us with his arrival." Joe says, looking over at Jacob in Jill's arms.

"It was certainly a surprise." Jill says, holding Jacob's little hand as he smiles at her.

"Yes, you scared Mommy and Dada. We didn't know you were coming to us." Jill says to Jacob, softly kissing his head.

Devi grabs Joe's finger as Joe tries to remove a fallen eyelash from Devi's eye.

"Are you grabbing your Pop? What's that kind of attitude?" Joe playfully says to Devi in a babyfied voice.

"Devi loves to hold onto our fingers. He even occasionally tries to bite them with his gums, so watch out." Kamala says with a giggle at her adorable son.

"Let's all sit down and chit chat some! Lunch should be coming soon! I ordered something special for all of us!" Jill says as she, Jacob, Kamala, Doug, Joe and Jacob all walk into the living room.

Jill and Joe place the babies on the ground to do some tummy time.

"And Jill made a birthday cake for you Kamala!" Joe says spoiling the surprise.

"Joey! That was suppose to be a surprise!" Jill playfully smacks Joe's arm.

"Aw! Really? Aw, I'm very touched! Thank you!" Kamala says with a big cheeky smile at Joe and Jill as she giggles.

"Ooo! I bet Jill makes a great cake! I always burn anything I bake." Doug says as he laughs.

"Yeah, your still under training, honey." Kamala says and strokes Doug's arm.

"I know, but I haven't nearly burnt the kitchen down in a while, so I'm improving." Doug says with a chuckle.

"You sound better than Joe then! He can't make anything else than spaghetti with canned red sauce! He and the boys would've starved if it wasn't for Val." Jill laughs and Joe nods in agreement.

"It's true, I can't cook anything! I can make a baby bottle though! But I have other talents" Joe says and winks at Jill who starts to blush.

"Yes, you do." Jill says innocently and adds a little wink that only Joe can see.

Joe clears his throat and tries to shift his focus from the execution of his *other talents*

"So what have you done for your birthday, Kamala?" Joe asks Kamala with a smile.

"Well, Doug and Devi fixed me breakfast in bed! It was very delicious. Doug and Devi then gave me some gifts!

Doug gave me a bracket with Devi's birth stone on it, it's so pretty! Devi gave me some little art pieces he and Doug made with his little feet and Doug gave me a bouquet of flowers!" Kamala says with a big cheeky smile.

"And then we laid in bed for a few hours and now we are here!" Doug says as he chuckles.

Devi and Jacob both coo loudly at each other as they continue to do tummy time.

"Are you boys done with tummy time? It looks like it!" Jill says as she picks up Devi and Joe picks up Jacob.

"You're such a big boy now! You were so small when I saw you last!" Jill says and strokes Devi's head.

Devi smiles up at Jill and tries to grab at her hair.

"Do you like your Nana's hair, baby boy? Yeah I know, Mama think it's pretty too." Kamala says and smiles at Devi.

Jus then, there is a knock on the door and Jill stands up to open it.

"It's the lunch that's ready! I'll go get it!" Jill says and hands Devi over to Doug before walking out of the room to the residence entrance.

"Do you want to sit in your swing, Jakey? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea huh?" Joe says to Jacob as he places his son in the baby swing

"Kamala honey, can you put up Devi's swing too?" Doug asks Kamala as he holds Devi in his arms.

"Of course I can!" Kamala answers and quickly assembles Devi's swing and places it next to Jacob's.

Doug places Devi in his swing and both boys happily swing in their swings!

Jill walks back over to the living room with lunch for the four of them!

"Aw, Jill! This is food from my favorite place! Thank you so much!" Kamala says, shocked that Jill would order from her favorite place!

"You're welcome! Today is your birthday so of course we have to eat from your favorite place!" Jill says with a big smile.

Jill, Joe, Kamala and Doug all sit together in the living room and eat lunch together!

After eating lunch, it is now time for birthday gifts!

Joe walks out of the living room to grab his two gifts he got for Kamala!

"Looks like the boys fell asleep on us." Jill says as she watches Jacob and Devi sleep on their swings.

"Devi was fighting his nap today, I'm so glad he is sleeping now." Kamala says to Jill with a grin.

"Jacob was fighting his nap yesterday! Must be two month old thing or something." Jill says with a chunks.

Joe walks back into the living room, holding a small bouquet of flowers and a picture of himself and Kamala that is in a yellow frame.

"Happy birthday, Kamala!" Joe says, handing the bouquet of flowers to Kamala causing Kamala to smile ear to ear.

"Thank you! Oh, look how gorgeous they are! They will be perfect next to the flowers Dougie gave me!" Kamala says as she smells the flowers and so does Doug.

Joe then hands Kamala a picture of himself and her walking outside together in a yellow frame. He wrote "Happy birthday, Kamala! Thank you for being such a wonderful Vice President and a fantastic friend. I couldn't do this without you. The while Biden family loves you, Doug and Devi very much. Enjoy your day. Love, Joe."

"Sorry I didn't wrap this! I suck at wrapping so I just didn't wrap it." Joe says with a chuckle.

Kamala gasps happily and smiles at the picture before she reads what Joe wrote.

"This is my favorite picture of us. I was super pregnant with Devi here too! Oh, I'm going to hang this up in my office with great pride! Thank you, Joe! Give me a hug!" Kamala says as she opens her arms up wanting a hug.

Joe gives Kamala a big bear hug and smiles at her when she looks at the picture.

"I'm so glad you liked it." Joe says and places a hand on Kamala's shoulder.

"I sure do! It's so perfect! Thank you!" Kamala says and Doug smiles.

"Actually, there might be one more present!" Jill says and goes up to get her birthday present for Kamala.

A few seconds later, Jill walks back in to the room carrying a similar looking frame that Joe had.

"This is something special from both Jacob and I." Jill says and smiles at Kamala.

Jill hands over the big picture frame and Kamala takes it. Inside the frame is a picture of Jill and Kamala together on the first day that Devi and Jacob met. Jill is holding Jacob and Kamala is holding Devi.

Jill writes "Happy birthday Kamala! I will always be there for you, whenever you need me. It is going to be a lot of fun parenting these two boys together! I hope you have the best birthday yet! Love, Jill."

A small tear begins to form in the corner of Kamala's eyes.

"Oh, Jill! This is so sweet of you! A picture with our boys, so wonderful! Thank you!" Kamala says and looks at Jill.

"I thought it would fit on your first birthday as a
Mama." Jill says and rubs Kamala's arm.

"It's so amazing, I love it! Thank you both so very much!" Kamala says and opens her arms to hug Jill.

Jill doesn't hesitate and gives Kamala a long and loving hug.

"Thank you, Jakey!" Kamala says as bends down to Jacob's level and kisses his head.

Kamala then kisses Devi's head and smiles at him.

After a few hours at Joe and Jill's Kamala, Devi and Doug go home to change their outfits and they head out to dinner!

Once home from Kamala's birthday dinner, Kamala and Doug both change into some comfier clothes and they are getting Devi ready for bed.

Kamala is wearing one of Doug's old t-shirts with a pair of baggy sweatpants with her hair up and out of her face.

Kamala is in Devi's nursery getting him ready for bed. It's about an hour passed Devi's usual bedtime but luckily the two month old isn't grumpy or fussy. 

Kamala changes Devi's dirty diaper before she puts a pair of pajamas on him. Devi softly yawns as Kamala finishes getting him dressed for the night.

Kamala then carefully picks up Devi from the changing table and begins to hold him close to her, helping him fall asleep.

Kamala tenderly rubs circles into Devi's back and the back of his head, while kissing his chubby cheeks he has.

"Thank you for making my birthday so perfect, Devi. Mama loves you so so much, baby boy. You are Mama and Daddy's miracle. Yes, you are." Kamala says softly as she rocks her body to get the two month old asleep.

Doug walks over to Devi's nursery and stands by the doorway as he admires the sight of his wife and baby boy bonding together.

Doug is only wearing sweatpants, wirh nothing underneath them and is also shirtless.

Kamala turns around and smiles at Doug, before kissing Devi's cheek again.

"He is almost asleep. Baby boy must have been tired, it usually takes him a little bit to fall asleep." Kamala says softly as she continues to rock her body.

"Well, he had a busy day spoiling his Mama rotten with lots of kisses, coos, smiles, presents and love." Doug says softly with a cheeky grin.

"Thank you, baby. This day has been absolutely magical and perfect. I am so lucky." Kamala says and rubs Doug's arm.

Doug raises his hands and places them on Kamala's curvy waist. Doug then pulls Kamala closer to his body, causing her to smile.

"You are very welcome. I love you baby. I'd do anything to make your day even more special." Doug says with a wink at Kamala, causing her cheeks to blush.

Kamala tilts her head up and kisses Doug. Doug moves one of his hands to her cheek and smiles at her.

"I love you too, honey." Kamala says happily to Doug with a big smile.

"You're so beautiful, baby. I didn't think I could love you more than I already do, but seeing you with Devi makes me love you even more." Doug says, caressing Kamala cheek with his thumb and Kamala smiles again.

"A baby looks pretty good on you too, Dougie." Kamala says and she winks at Doug and Doug smiles.

Kamala leans in and gives Doug another soft kiss on the lips.

Devi makes a loud snore noise, causing Kamala and Doug to chuckle and smile down at him.

"You were sleepy baby boy, weren't you?" Doug softly asks, stroking Devi's dark hair.

"He sure is. He is so adorable when he sleeps. He looks just like his Daddy." Kamala says as she smiles at a sleeping Devi and then at Doug.

"I'll place him in his crib, Kam. Go wait for me in the bedroom." Doug says with a wink and takes Devi from Kamala's arms.

Kamala softly kisses Devi's forehead one more time and kisses Doug before she leaves the nursery and heads to the master bedroom.

Doug rocks Devi in his arms for a few more minutes, making sure Devi is fully asleep before placing him in his crib for the night.

Doug smiles down at Devi sleeping peacefully in crib, admiring the miracle that is Devi Douglas Emhoff.

Doug makes sure that Devi's baby monitor and camera is on Devi so he and Kamala can keep an eye on him.

"Goodnight, Devi. Sleep well, buddy." Doug says, kissing Devi's forehead before leaving the nursery.
