I looked out the Taxi's window, She gueesed that the little town in the distence was Vaniville, where Mom's friend was waiting for me. How does Mom have friends here if she's never been here? Jewel barely had enough time to ponder the question before her two best friends, Aria and Soprano started arguing about their first Pokémon "No! I'm getting Greninja, I've studied every thing about them!" Aria started "NO! I'M GETTING GRENINJA! I'VE GOT MAD NINJA SKILLS!!!" Soprano yelled back, Jewel knew not to get involved, they eventually work things out, but it drags on for a while. I'm an only child... Yet, I get twins for friends... The argument lasted for minutes, until the cab came to a stop "Vaniville, this is the place!" The driver shouted over Aria and Soprano. Jewel put her journal away, she didn't even have to make an attempt to push them out, they tumbled out, still arguing. She paid the cabbie, and added extra " The fare was only 6,722p..." The cabbie reminded me "I think a 300p bonus is what you deserve for hearing them argue." The cabbie drove away, laughing. I pulled Aria off Soprano "Guys, stop messing around, we have to look for my Mom's friend, Remember? The guy we're getting our Pokémon from?" Aria stood up and dusted herself off, she pulled a flower petal from her long, white hair with pink tips. I had always liked her hair, Soprano's was short, but it was pink with white tips. As we were daydreaming, a figure approached us. I spun around to look at him, He was wearing a long black coat with a hood that covered his face" Jewel, Aria, and Soprano?" his voice sounded familiar...we all nodded "Well it's about time! GIVE US OUR POKEMON!!" Soprano yelled at him. The figure just chuckled "Good deduction skills for one so young." He took off his hood to reveal "Frost?!" I yelled, He hasn't aged a day! , I said to myself, How is that possible?! He pushed some hair behind his ear " I'd love to give you your Pokémon right now... But you must pass a small test." he walked towards the giant doors near the entrance of the town and turned around to look at us "Walk to the next town, it's that simple." just then, a girl in pink streaked past him, making Frost spin around, a girl with blonde hair closely followed her. "Well then, I guess it is time to go." He looked back at us "See you in the next town." and walked out of the gates. We quickly followed him, he was right, in just a couple of steps, we were at the next town. Aria found where Frost was, he was sitting at a table with five other kids, He gestured for us to sit down and started talking "Now, the only person we're missing is Xavier, but to start off, I am Frost, one of the people the Professor asked to deliver these Pokémon to you." he held two cases and placed it on the table. after a while we met the others, Trevor, Serena, Xavier, Shauna, and Tierno. "Now then, here are the Pokémon," He slid one box in front of me, Aria, and Soprano, and the other in front of Shauna, Serena and Xavier. "Pick one, but choose wisely, this will be your partner from here on out." I picked the Pokeball in the center "Ah, Fennekin! A great choice!" Frost exclaimed. Aria had quickly picked up the Pokeball on the right "Frokie, a good choice as well!" There was a gleam in his eye. Soprano was the last to pick, and he got a Chespin " Another good choice, maybe you two aren't that different, in terms of taste." Frost said "Now, why don't you meet them?" I called out Fennekin "Go Fennekin!" and out popped out the cutest little fox Pokémon I had ever seen, It sat in front of me, like it expected something from me, I reached out and petted it, it really liked being petted on the ears, after I was done, it hopped on my lap "It's a female, in case your wondering," Trevor spoke up "You should probably give her a nickname." I thought of only one name Fennel? , I thought, That sounds like a good name, right? she must've read my mind, because she started to jump around and bark happily, I smiled in return. Frost cleared his throat" Now that you're all acquainted," Me, Aria, and Soprano looked at him " How about your first Pokémon battle against yours truly?" Aria thought about it for a couple of seconds "A Triple Battle?" She responded, Frost nodded. Fennel walked in front, followed by Frokie and Chespin, ready to battle. Frost threw out three Pokeballs, and out came a Chespin, a Fennekin, and a Frokie. I Immediately assumed that Fennekin knew some fire type move, so I yelled "Fennel! Fire Blast!" Fennel shot a blast of fire in a star shape at the Chespin, Instantly making it faint. Aria's Frokie knew Hydro pump, and Soprano's Chespin knew Wood Hammer, making this a short battle, Frost returned his Pokémon, he laughed "Nice battle," He chuckled "You will definantly do well here!" he paid us some money. and apparently, Xavier had to go back to give a letter to his mom. Frost pulled out a box and placed it in front of us "These are for you guys, from your parents." He handed Aria a Pokeball and Soprano another "You two are about as different as night and day, so that Lunatone and Solrock fit you two perfectly." Frost pulled out a necklace with a strange symbol on it that looked like DNA on a rainbow, he smiled and handed it to me, then handed me a Pokeball "These go hand in hand, as you'll soon discover." the gleam returned in his eye "You should wait for Xavier, then you should all go to the next town." He smiled and held up a Pokeball, and a Pidgeott flew him away. I wonder... how does he look the same? , I thought, I guess I'll never know.... We all waited for ten minutes for Xaiver to return. we all walked down Route 2, but Xaveir, Shauna, and Serena had stopped so Serena could teach them how to catch Pokemon. Aria, Soprano, and myself went ahead. Soprano instantly ran out into the forest to battle the trainers scattered throughout. Me and Aria divyed up the Potions and Pokeballs while waiting for the others.They arrived and we headed out into the forest. Every trainer we came across was beaten. "Soprano has really proven himself mental." ,I whispered to Aria "Don't even get me started about that." She replied back in a hushed tone. We all ran around a bit to find some Pokemon, Aria had the most luck with encountering, She found a Fletchling and a Pansear , all I caught was a Pikachu. We all left the forest and found out that, again, Soprano had torn through this Route's trainers too. I searched the tall grass and found a Bidoof, something that reminded me of home! I caught it and kept it with me, I looked around some more and found that a Pidgey lay injured, I took out a Potion and sprayed it. It jumped up, full of energy, and looked at me in a curious way. It ended up following me to the next city, Santalune.
