After School on the day of Selection

Ketchum Residence

"Mom I'm Home." Said Ash as he entered the door of his house.

"Ash Ketchum what's about the selection??" asked Delia in a demanding tone.

"Mom Myself & Gary both nailed it, we got Complete scholarship." Replied Ash as he hugged his mom.

"That's some good news, my baby boy is growing up." Said Delia as she was hugging ash as she finished their hug.

"Mom, don't embarrass me and we will be going to Kalos within a week & by yesterday we will know the exact date." Ash informed his Mom.

"Aren't there summer breaks in Kalos High??" Asked Delia with a thoughtful look.

"Don't know mom but I didn't ask Professor Oak. It's also better I am already excited and can't even wait for this week either" Said ash with excitement as Delia smiles at his statement.

"That's good now I will your favorite for dinner today now go to your room and have some rest". Said Delia as she moved to the kitchen.

Next-Day in Kalos High

"After this week we are off for summer breaks. I can't believe it." Said Serena in excitement.

"I am going to my Home Region Sinnoh with my mom." Said Dawn in a sad tone.

"Not fair & what I am going to do without you." Said Serena while Pouting

"You can go on dates you got your boyfriend." Replied Dawn while winking at Serena to which she gave a bashful look.

"I think mom and I should also be visiting Alola" informed Serena to Dawn

"Wow Serena it is going to be better than mine." Exclaimed dawn

"But Dawn seriously I am going to miss you." Said Serena as she hugged Dawn which she returned.

"I will miss you too. But I am also excited as you know there's going to be lots of new students after summer breaks." Told Dawn excitedly.

"But what's the point of all this??" asked Serena

"Anything can happen Miss Kalos Queen" said Dawn in a teasing manner

"I swear to god Dawn I am going to kill you." Said Serena in a threatening manner.

"Hey babe what's the commotion??" Asked Calem as he came up with Paul and kisses Serena on her Cheek.

"Nothing just girl stuff." Replied Serena in a bashful manner

"Troublemaker what about a dinner date tomorrow night?? Before you left for Sinnoh." Asked Paul from Dawn

"That's a good idea, pick me up by 6 pm." Replied Dawn as she kissed his cheek.

"What about you babe?? Should we make it a Double date?" asked Calem while looking expectantly at Serena

"Yeah why not. What you say Dawn?" Asked Serena as she and Paul seem to be smiling & nodded.

"So a double date tomorrow?? Sounds good?? Asked calem to which all nodded.

In the Office Section

"Sycamore Professor Oak was just keeping an ace in a hole." Told Diantha to which he just smiled.

"I just read the report Remo gave me earlier. So yeah seems like 2 Aces to me" Sycamore replied as Diantha raised an eyebrow.

"You knew about that?? Didn't you??" Asked Diantha to which Prof Sycamore just nodded & smiled.

"I am Just sending their Tickets and other carrier details to Professor Oak so that they can be there within this week." Told Sycamore to which to which Diantha mouthed Okay.

Last Day of Summer Break at Kalos High

"When are you departing for Sinnoh?? Asked Serena from Dawn

"Tomorrow evening Serena also May is also going tomorrow for Hoenn" replied Dawn to Serena.

"I am also leaving for Alola with mom on the day after yesterday." Informed Serena.

"That's some plan to enjoy vacations" replied Dawn while smiling.

"It's the last day before vacations so why don't we enjoy it together? After all we are not going to see each other for 2 months." Asked Serena smiling

Serena replied "This time I agree with you"

"Hey dawn & Serena." Said May as she came towards them and gave them a hug.

"Hey May long time no see." Said, Serena

"Hey may looking beautiful." Complimented Dawn while winking.

"Thank you, Dawn and Serena, I am just busy with cheerleading you know competition & tournaments starting after vacations.

"I remember you're leaving for Hoeen tomorrow?" asked Dawn

"Yes Dawn to see my family & you two any plans??" asked May

Serena replied "I am going Alola & dawn is going to Sinnoh.

May replied "Great but I just warn you two keep an eye on your boyfriend's there are lots of girls waiting to make a move.

"That's something to discuss for you two not me because Paul does scare girls" replied Dawn to which they started laughing.

Serena also replied "nothing new in this but I trust Calem May"

May warned them "there are two cheerleaders Ursula & Miette beware of them."

Dawn said "Thanks may for the Heads up."

At Pallet High

"Last day of our School in Pallet I am going to miss being here." Ash told to Gary to which Gary nodded.

Gary replied "me too ashy boy."

"Tomorrow we'll leave for Kalos and I am totally psyched & can't wait." Ash said in excitement.

Gary also said "We're going to watch each other's back out there ashy boy." To which ash nodded.

"We will Gary but try not to get involved in unnecessary fights." Told Ash

Gary said "Let's go meet gramps before we head home." To which ash just nodded.

Next Morning Ketchum Residence

"Ash come downstairs otherwise you're going to miss your flight" shouted Delia from downstairs.

Ash replied "Coming Mom wait a second." Replied Ash as he Comes downstairs with his bags.

Delia gets emotional & says "My son is growing up. Make me proud honey. In fact made whole Pallet town proud." Said Delia as she hugged Ash.

Ash replied "Mom that's what I am going to do just wait & watch & I am going to be the very best." Replied ash.

"Mom let me go now I think professor oak will be there waiting by now." Said ash as he went towards the door.

At the Airport.

"Ash take care honey and Gary take care of him too." Told Delia as Gary nodded.

"You know I would be taking care of you after all the fights you start for girls." Replied ash smugly.

Oak interrupted them "There's your flight & go both of you to take care of each other."

Ash replied "Bye mom bye professor." As they went towards the security check.

Gary said "Bye Gramps & Delia"

Ash started running & jumped while saying "Kalos here I Come."

Gary teases "Grow up dude."

Ash ignores him and thought "Bye Kanto region & there we come to Kalos."
