After Training Session

"Why isn't whole team training right now?" asked Ash

"They want some time off before the game" Explained Drew and Ash nodded

"Why we didn't get informed about you being part of the team?" asked Drew

"Well, they wanted to surprise everyone at first but after the incident with Tierno they knew they can't hide things anymore" Explained Ash

"So, which position you play?" asked Drew

"Almost every position, I guess. But I prefer being Point Guard & to actually positions doesn't matter. It's about doing what you can do the best from anywhere the field" said Ash surprising him

"Okay, I don't think the whole team would be happy with the idea of you playing without trials," said Drew

"Drew, I understand & it's not a one person's game. So, I won't mind sitting out today. But if you'll need me then I will be happy to help." Said Ash while smiling to which Drew nodded

"From what I had observed you're a tricky player. So, I would advise not to disclose all your tricks at once" said Drew as Ash started laughing

"You're not that bad Drew. Since I had the incident with Calem I thought that you all be like him" said Ash surprising him

"He is not that bad, just the thing is being the Star player & Captain got into his head," said Drew

"Gary always bragged how being a Captain has its own merits & being at Kalos High makes me feel that somehow he was right," said Ash confusing Drew

"What do you mean?" asked Drew

"Well, Gary used to brag how being a Captain attract girls now I see You, Calem & Paul, also there is Gary now. As Paul was also 2nd in line after Calem. All of you have gotten partners who are like best in the lot." Explained Ash to which Drew just laughed.

"I never thought about it in that way, now you've mentioned that I guess maybe you're right but maybe not. I had known May since we started Middle School but we started dating since Last year & even Serena had known since childhood but they also started dating some months ago. So, I don't think that being a captain had anything with that." Said Drew

"Drew, now I know that besides Gary you'll also be a great friend to have. Also my 2nd in Kalos High" said Ash as he fist-bumped Drew who smiled & returned

"Good to know and may I know who's the first one?" asked Drew curiously

"Serena," said Ash surprising Drew

"Oh, I forgot you were the one who saved her from Tierno," said Drew to which Ash nodded

"I think we should get going for the match and were you serious about if you don't play this match?" asked Drew as he Stood up

"You should go, I was serious but I have a plan," said Ash as he explained Drew all of that

"Are you sure??" asked Drew to which Ash nodded and they exited the courtroom.

Serena & Calem

"Calem you are supposed to be on bed rest," said Serena as they walked towards the Basketball court

"I just can't be missing out on moments like these," Answered Calem and further added "also you know I can't miss basketball match"

"Are you sure it's only about basketball??" asked Serena while giggling

"Whatever it is & you are coming with me for the match & we are going to sit in the front rows." Answered Calem as he started dragging Serena with him.

"No, you know I don't like basketball." Retorted Serena

"Maybe, but it can change." Said Calem as he continued dragging Serena with him

"No," said Serena angrily

"Please, for me & maybe someone will catch your eye." Said Calem as Serena blushed but nodded

At Basketball stadium

"Team Gather up" Instructed Wulfric

"Coach, I want to have a word with you, alone," said Drew as everyone on the team Gathered in front of Coach

"Okay Come on & everyone just gears up," said Coach as he moved aside and Drew followed him

As they reached a separate area Drew started "Coach, I know about Ketchum & you were just going to tell us about him" Wulfric was surprised but drew continued " You know coach everyone in the team would offend it because of no trials & so, I would say just drop Ash for this match" as Drew finished

"That's no reason for me to drop him" argued Wulfric

"Ash already agreed on this" informed Drew as Wulfric was bamboozled

"Why would he agree to that?" asked Wulfric

"To avoid conflicts in the team, although he planned something" said Drew as he explained the plan to Wulfric to which he smiled and nodded.

"Okay, But if anyone goes wrong then Diantha would Kill me, So unless you want my Soul to haunt you for your life just don't fail me," said Wulfric as Drew chuckled & nodded as they left towards the team

With Gary & Ash

"Well, Gary I must go now," said Ash as Gary nodded

"Then I must look for some company for myself," said Gary

"You meant Lillie, right??" asked Ash

"Yeah, something like that," Gary replied while chuckling

"So, ready for the date??" further asked Ash

"Eveready Ashy boy. Don't forget I am an expert." Answered Gary proudly as he didn't saw Lillie arrived and just heard him.

"Hey, guys & Gary expert in what??" asked Lillie as Gary felt nervous

"Expert in you know soccer" replied Gary as Lillie believed him

"I must keep going as I got myself a match to cheer." Said Lillie as she went while waving at them

"Bye, Lillie see you after the match." Shouted Gary from behind

"Well, I must keep going too." Said Ash

"Show them what you got Ashy boy," said Gary as they both fist-bumped & then they both went separate ways

With Calem & Serena

"Let's keep going Serena, I don't want to miss the best seats," said Calem

"Okay, See Dawn is waiting there," said Serena as pointed towards them & Calem nodded & went towards them

"Here we are Dawn" announced Serena

"Late as always but Basketball game & Serena what's the matter?" asked Dawn curiously

"Well, I kind off forced her." Said Calem while embarrassed

"I thought she came here to watch Ash," said Dawn as Serena blushed

"No way he's going to play there weren't any trials for the team," said Calem

"Well, Gary told us he's been selected." Said, Dawn

"But I doubt the team player would let anyone play without trials," said Calem as Paul & Gary came together

"Maybe, but I, myself got to play without trials," said Gary with a smug face

"Hey, Paul & Gary. Yeah I guess anything can happen now" said Calem as Gary nodded

"Hey Calem," said Paul as they both fist-bumped

"Nice to see you in good condition." Said, Gary

"I watch the highlights of yesterday's game & hate to admit it but you are actually a good player, even better than us. Said Calem eyeing Gary

"Don't sweat it. There's pretty much to learn" replied Gary

"You're the best player here now." Said, Paul

"Nah, I hate to admit but I don't think so," said Gary surprising everyone

"What???" asked Paul as everyone eyed him with curiosity.

"Nothing, we should watch the match I don't want to miss ashy boy in action." Said, Gary

"Still I doubt they will let him play without trials." Said, Serena

"You would see. I thought you saw his tricks." said Gary

"I also heard that from some students he showed some tricks." Added Calem to which Gary nodded

(Seating position Dawn-Serena-Calem-Gary-Paul)

ANNOUNCER- WELL FOLKS 1ST BASKETBALL GAME FOR THIS YEAR'S TOURNAMENT IS GOING TO START & I AM YOUR COMMENTATOR MONSIEUR PIERRE. THE MATCH IS BETWEEN KALOS DRAGONS & THE JOHTO WARRIORS. DRAGONS BEAT THE WARRIOR'S IN SOCCER CAN THEY DO IT AGAIN & THE PLAYERS ARE ON THE WAY TO STADIUM

"What the Hell is Happening?" said Gary as he saw the teams at the Basketball Court
