Note before reading – I am not writing the action part of the games and would write some parts of the announcer's/commentator's statement because I am thinking that many people would not be interested in reading the game's action parts and then it would be boring. So, if someone wants me to write that too just left reviews then I will decide.

"So you already made some friends," said Ash as was standing just beside them

"What the hell are you doing out here?? You should be out there on the field" Shouted Gary

"They don't need me now, so I am here with you to watch the game" said Ash calmly as he saw an empty seat near Paul and sat down and Gary and Paul exchanged their seats.

"Now tell me what the hell is wrong with you?" asked Gary

"Nothing, for now, let's observe the proceedings" answered Gary

"I already told you, the team won't agree to let someone play without trials," said Calem

"Yeah, maybe Calem is right," said Ash as they started to watch the proceedings

ANNOUNCER- WELL, FOLKS LOOKS LIKE THE WARRIORS ARE JUST DETERMINED TO WIN THIS GAME IN ORDER TO HAVE SOME PAYBACK FOR THEIR LOSS IN SOCCER GAME. WELL HERE GOES A BASKET BY DREW. DRAGONS ARE ALSO NOT SO FAR BEHIND. AND A BRILLIANT PASS BY BRENDAN AND ANOTHER BASKET BY TIERNO.

"They are doing good as of now both teams are in balance," said Calem

"I am bored but you are having the fun of your life." Said Serena

"Indeed, you know me well." Replied Calem while smiling

"We aren't childhood friends for nothing" said Serena

"Yeah, thank you for being with me" replied Calem

"Your boring match & our team is now way behind warriors," said Serena

"Things does turn around" said Ash

"I hope they will for good" said Calem

"So, who will be leading Soccer team for next match," asked Ash as he was still fixated on the game

"Coach has not said anything about that yet, but anything can happen," said Calem

"Next match is against 'Kalos High', so I don't think Calem you've got any chance," said Gary smugly

"Calem has been there in the team & everyone is comfortable with being him the Captain so, I don't think you'll have any chance" retorted Paul

"Calm Down everyone, the decision is not ours to make, so just let it be & go with the flow," said Ash

"Ash is right everyone" said Serena & everyone nodded

"You came here to watch Ash play don't you?" asked Dawn to Serena in a low tone that no one can hear & made Serena blush crimson

"Dawn, shut up" replied Serena

"What happened Serena?" asked Calem and now everyone had her eyes on her to which she felt embarrassed

"Nothing" said Serena as they all resumed watch the game

ANNOUNCER- LOOKS LIKE WARRIORS HAD MANAGED TO GATHER A LEAD AGAINST THE HOST TEAM 28-18 & 10 MINUTES TO HALF TIME

"I'll be back in some time," said Ash to Gary as he got up from his seat and was going towards the exit but no one else noticed him going

"I had high hopes for our team to win this game," said Calem in a sad tone

"Don't worry it's just a single game" replied Serena as everyone nodded

Meanwhile in the Dressing Room

"Your plan turned terrible till now" said Wulfric

"It's nothing coach, we are still going to win this game," said Ash in a determined tone

"You better make it happen, otherwise Diantha will be so pissed at me," said Wulfric as Ash giggled

"Don't you trust my abilities, Coach?" asked Ash as he was now dressed up in Basketball team's uniform

"I do, otherwise I won't be agreeing to that plan of yours, Half time would be any minute now, so get yourself together" said Wulfric as he turned towards the Court as they heard a buzzer signalling the start of Half time.

Drew came in the dressing room and the whole team followed as they saw Ash in Team's outfit & were shocked but Drew broke the silence "So Ash, ready for your debut?

"You Bet, Drew" said Ash as they fist-bumped

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE??" Asked Tierno angrily as soon as he came over the shock

"He is playing, Tierno. Because he is selected by Coach already" Explained Drew as Ash smirked while observing Tierno's Expressions

"ARE YOU JOKING? THERE WEREN'T EVEN ANY TRIALS SO HOW HE IS EVEN SELECTED?" asked Tierno angrily

"That doesn't matter for you because it's not your job" interjected Grant as he huffed but nodded.

"So what's the strategy Coach for the 2nd half of play?" asked Drew

"Ketchum will tell you," said Grant as everyone eyed Ash who just nodded

"Listen everyone" said Ash as he motioned for gaining everyone's attention once he succeeded he continued "Our Team strategy is very to crack for now, like same positions, same markings with same skills from the last years. We are just focusing on perfecting our sole areas but with not much of a competition for selection in the team, hence we are becoming soft." And then further asked as he eyed everyone for confirmation "Everyone with me till now?"

"How can you say that? You don't even know us" said Tierno

"I did some research and Tierno, this is not the time to argue, So everyone understood what I am saying?" asked Ash everyone nodded & he continued "For now we will change positions and Forrest we will switch you in and out from time to time," said Ash as he grabbed a paper & wrote down new positions

Brenden – Centre

Brock – Power Forward

Drew – Shooting Guard

Tierno – Small forward

Ash- Point Guard

"For now believe in yourself & we will succeed & whatever questions you may have, we now have a game to win," said Ash as everyone nodded

In the stands

"Half time is over now" said Serena

"It's now or never" said Calem as they saw players were coming out for the game & they saw Ash

"When did he get over there?" asked Paul as everyone was bewildered

"I knew he was up to something & now everyone knows what it was" said Gary as he chuckled

"They changed positions" stated Calem

"Now the game will also change" replied Gary as he smiled

ANNOUNCER- WELL, FOLKS HALF TIME IS OVER NOW & DRAGONS HAVE A CHANGE IN THEIR TEAM ALSO THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR POSITIONS. DRAGONS DID A TRICK LIKE THIS IN SOCCER MATCH.

ANNOUNCER- THE NAME OF NEW PLAYER OF KALOS HIGH IS ASH KETCHUM. THE BALL IS WITH THE DRAGONS & A BASKET BY BRENDAN. DRAGONS ARE SURELY TRYING THEIR HARDEST. WARRIORS HAD THE POSSESSION & RILEY WITH BALL MOVING PAST THE DEFENCES & THE THROUGH. OH, WHAT A STEAL BY ASH KETCHUM IN LAST MINUTE, A JUMP & AND A FAST HEAD PASS TO BROCK & HERE'S ANOTHER BASKET.

10 MINUTES LATER

ANNOUNCER- DRAGONS HAD INCREASED THEIR DEFENCES GAME IS SLOWLY GAINING MOMENTUM BUT DRAGONS ARE STILL BEHIND 38-32. CAN WARRIORS KEEP UP THEIR LEAD?? AGAIN THE BALL IS IN THE POSSESSION OF WARRIORS AND THEY ARE MOVING FAST TOWARDS THE BASKET BUT WHAT A SUDDEN JUMP FROM ASH & THE BALL IS JUST OUT OF THEIR HANDS. AND A PASS TO BRENDAN & A BASKET.

In the Stands

"He doesn't look like special to me as of now" said Calem

"Whatever he is doing, it's working in our favor and that makes it special" replied Gary

15 Minutes Later

(Gary Watches as ash watches him from the ground & mouth some words as Game over)

"What he just mouthed??" asked Serena

"He mouthed 'GAME OVER'" said Gary

"What he means by that??" asked Calem

"Just wait & watch." Replied Gary

ANNOUNCER- FOLKS LAST 3 MINUTES AND WARRIOR'S ARE IN LEAD 54-50 & ANOTHER STEAL BY THE DRAGONS AND ANOTHER BASKET BY THE DRAGONS. DRAGONS NEEDS 3 POINTS & 1 MINUTE TO GO & WARRIOR'S ARE IN POSSESSION OF THE BALL & RILEY IS MOVING TOWARDS THE BASKET & WHAT AN AMAZING STEAL BY KETCHUM. CAN HE SCORE A 3 POINTER NOW? WITHIN A BLINK OF AN EYE & RILEY JUST LOST THE BALL & KETCHUM IS MOVING AT AN UNBELIEVABLE SPEED & WARRIOR'S HAD COVERED THE ATTACKERS OF DRAGONS & 15 SECONDS & THEN WHAT A TRY TO BASKET FROM THAT DISTANCE & THE BASKET AND NOW THE BUZZER. WHAT A STEAL FIRST & NOW A AMAZING 2 POINTER TO FINISH OF THE MATCH.

In the Court

"Phew!!! That was something" said Brock as he approached Ash and gave a high five

"That was a brilliant 3 pointer" shouted Drew as everyone from the team came near them to congratulate

"It was nothing' said Ash as he scratched the back of his head

"The strategy did worked" said Grant and everyone nodded

"Told you, now we have to work more on other positions," said Ash as everyone nodded

"Tierno, focus on practicing 3 pointers and your speed" said Ash as Tierno growled but nodded.

In the Stands

Gary watches ash with a smirk when he steals & gains the basket points while others mouth hung open.

"That was something." Said Gary

"How did he move that fast?? Riley didn't even had a chance to cover himself." Said Paul

"Now I can see why you are so supportive to him." Said Calem

Serena's daze was on ash the entire time as she was lost but a nudge from dawn bring her back and she smirked and asked "Are you done dreaming??"

"Dawn, I was just thinking did he really ran that fast that day to save me," said Serena

"This wasn't fast compared to then. You didn't see him when he ran to save you." Stated Gary as Serena blushed and Dawn noticed as everyone started to walk down the exit besides Gary who would be waiting for Ash

Calem whispered to Serena "Looks like you found someone"

"What do you mean??" Serena asked back in whisper

"You were in a daze don't you??" asked Calem

"Not like you when you saw Brendan playing 1st time ever." Stated Serena in a whisper as Calem blushed

"Hey shut up, anyone can hear that" whispered back Calem

"You started first." Retorted Serena in a whisper

"I surrendered Miss Queen. I can't argue you because you're the one covering up for me." Whispered Calem as Serena giggled

"Oh I think I left something on my seat, I will be back in a minute" said Dawn as she walked back towards the seating area

As she was back & noticed there is no one else besides Gary and then moved towards him

"Hey Gary, can we talk for a minute?" asked Dawn

"Yeah, What it is about?" asked Gary
