1: DOUBLE AGENTS GET SHOT
don't cheat! no copying/plagiarizing anyone else work, and what you submit must be yours: using a cover shop isn't allowed, you must make the graphic yourself.

2: COMPLETE YOUR MISSIONS
always submit your graphic & score on time, or you will be automatically eliminated. usually a week will be given for submission, but if you provide a valid reason it can be extended.

3: STAY FOCUSSED AND ON TRACK
be fair when judging other people's work, and don't intentionally sabotage them to help yourself win. also don't be a sore looser and come for the judges if you don't like your placing.

4: DON'T GET CAUGHT BY OFFICIALS
be respectful and kind to your fellow contesters and the judges, this is all just to have fun and enjoy ourselves anyways. any rude comments or bad behavior will result in automatic elimination.

5: KEEP KALOPSIA A SECRET
to make sure you've read the rules, there is a password! the password is the third letter/symbol in your username + the number of characters in your username. for example : mine would be h7 since my username is -cherub

30% — CREATIVITY & ORIGINALITY

it should stand out amongst the crowd and have something special about it. your graphic must show your creativity as a designer and your own individually unique approach.

25% — THEME & RELEVANCE

does it go well with the prompt given or were you completely off track? is it obvious you have read the prompt well and tried your best to bring it alive through your graphic?

25% — HANDIWORK & TECHNICALITY

how have you chosen your colours and do they go well together? are they cohesive and homogeneous? is the typography too brash or too minimal? make sure to incorporate your text in a way that is appropriate and pleasing to the eye. does it lack that sophistication you would expect or it greatly showcases the graphic designer's talent?

10% — OVERALL OUTCOME

how does the end product look? is it pleasant to look at or a mess you want to avoid? does it make you do a double take? the overall aesthetics will come into play here and be judged judiciously.

10% — COLLEAGUE OPINIONS

how did it sit with the other contestants? did it catch their eye? this is where the other contenders will submit a score based on your graphic as well.
