After 2 more periods it was time for break, as I stepped into the cafetaria the first thing I noticed was groups, only few people were sitting alone, most of the students were hanging out in large groups.

While I was standing in the line for my lunch I heard 2 girls gossiping about something.

"I wish I find someone like Alexander,Becca is so lucky to have him"

"shhhhh,don't take his full name only few people have a right to that,you know what happens to those who call his full name without his permission"                                                                    "oh yaa it just slipped my mind,but why is he so cold to everyone "

maybe he has his reasons, but Becca is a really lucky girl, you remember what he did to that guy who broke her heart" 
                                         "but Becca dosen't deserve him , she is such a manipulator and there is no doubt in this that she dosen't love him the only thing she loves is his money"

" but do you think he loves her?"     

"as a friend yes but more than that I don' t think so"                                                   
After listening to their conversation the I held my tray and found a seat next to Abbie, she was sitting alone. After seeing me her face lightened up.                              

" hey Kalon how were your classes?"                                     
" fine but boring "                 both of us were having a conversation when suddenly she stopped taking and her eyes were fixed on someone behind me , turning around I saw the same brunett who was bullying Abbie this morning , she was staring at Abbie and when I turned around she shifted her gaze to me for a few seconds and then faced ahead.

Abbie looked tense once she was gone,I hated to see this so I  had to ask her this question.         "Abbie if you don't mind can I ask u something?"                         
" sure"                                         
" who was that girl and why was she bullying you this morning?"                                    
she was silent , I regretted asking her now.                           

  " I am sorry you don' t have to answer ,this is none of my business "                                    
"no no it's alright, her name is Becca , in our childhood we were a group of 4 best friends me , Becca,Alex and Riley , Riley always treated me like his little sister and he was the sweetest guy you'l ever meet, Riley liked Becca alot and they got into a relationship,then there were some misunderstandings and Becca accused Riley of cheating on her which he never did, Alex believed Becca and I refused to believe her because I knew how much Riley loved her.I also noticed  that Becca has changed and was not that innocent girl anymore. This resulted in all o f us drifting apart, now Becca bullies me because 1.I refused to believe her back then 2.I don't have loads of money to be in popularity group and 3.because I am not beautifull in her dictionary.   So here I am all alone facing my bullies and waiting patiently for that day when I complete my education and leave this school for good"                            
From seeing her eyes I realised that there was a deep pool of saddness in them and  if I didn't give her my support and pull her uot she was bound to drown in it.

I hugged her tightly and promised her that no matter what happend this new friend of her will always stand with her and she will never feel alone again.

After lunch break I came to know that my 4th period was free so I went towards the school grounds I sat beneath a tree and closing my eyes ,I realised how peacefull this place was away from school hussle.

         " hey you "     

                         I opened my eyes to see Becca standing above me with her minions behind her.

I stood up to my full height and said.                                                   "Yes?you need something?" 

                 "actually I do"

she said examining  her nails with a bored expression.                 

     "I want you to stay away from Abbie andstop being friends with her"

                        "and who may you be ?her dad I suppose "                      

her expression changed to that of furry.                                         

" listen b**** stay away from her or today will be your first and last day in this school"

I smirked and said.   

"O I get it now you are the principal of this school who gave me admission and will expel me without a valid reason "                              

  I continued "barbie everything will not happen on your terms ,you know  it will be better if you mind your own damn business and stay away from me , I can be friends with who so ever I want to , my life my choice, you don't have a say"

her anger was replaced with a devilish smile and she left after saying. 

" let's see how much choices you get after making  this choice"                                                
she is mistaken if she thinks that I am scared because let me make one thing crystal clear  I am  not scared of anyone because only those people fear who have done something wrong and I never do wrong well not intentionally. 

                        I walked into my next class and sat down at the end.

The lesson started and I realised that the only seat vacant was next to me, kids are really serious about their attendence these days,after arounf 30 min I heard a deep voice saying

"may I come in" ignoring him I continued to do my work without looking up thinking how can children be so rude to their teachers attaching please or sir to his sentence would not have drained his energy.

Sir told him to have a seat and only then did I realise that only seat vacant was next to me ,I lifted my gaze to see the same deep green eyes staring at me with hatred,I started to feel uncomfortable a weird kind of feeling kicked in and my heart started beating faster due to nervousness.

"Kalon what the hell is wrong with you get a grip girl no need to be nervous

"I talked to myself.I stopped looking at him and tried to do my work.He pulled the seat next to me towards him and sat down and that's when his expensive cologne scent hit me.I tried to concentrate on my work but his presence was making it impossible.From my side view I could see that he was easily solving all the questions and was working with full concentration.I remembered that I haven't apologised to him for colliding with him ,maybe that was the reason he disliked me  so after clearing my throat  I began.            

"hey my name is Kalon" 

    when he didn't replied I continued.         
                       "I am really sorry for.......(hiccup) today  mornings incident ,I was completely at fault as I was not seeing where I was going"(hiccup)                
shit shit I mentally cursed why now of all time, this hiccup will be the death of me.

I drank water so this hiccup could stop but of no use,oh god save from this embaressment,             green eyes (I will call him this untill I get to know his name) was staring at me With the same hard look on his face ,did this guy know how to smile or no,                   not only him but some  students around  me were staring at me  ,some were laughing their heads off others had an amused look on their faces.I tried to close my mouth with  both my hands but of no use.

(hiccup) suddenly green eyes tilted his head ,leaned to my side and whispered in my ear "there is a lizard near your foot"                                          
on hearing this I shrieked loudly and hurriedly got up from my seat , when I saw under my seat there was nothing.

Earlier only few eyes were staring at me now the entire class was including the teacher, well this class couldn' t get eny more embarrassing.

"Ms Kalon may I know why you interrupted my class?"         

"I am really sorry sir, I thought there was something under my desk"

when I sat down I gave deadly glare to green eyed boy knowing that he did this deliberately and there was no lizard.                                         
I  asked him  "why did you lie"                                          he kept staring at me I thought that he will not reply but then he said. L        
" your hiccup's gone"                      
only then I remembered my mother doing the same thing with me once ,she once told me that if we distract our mind or we get scared or bobsmacked suddenly while having a hiccup something triggers in our brain and the hiccup  automatically stops, today I would say that  this theory was hence proved. 

I sat there staring at those green eyes trapped in a delimma to hate this stupid boy for embarissing me in front of entire class or to thank him for ending this embarissment by stopping my hiccup.
