We 4 were sitting in the principal's office and from my side view I could see Chris sending daggers at me but I continued to ignore him.
"This is not just any school this is the most renowned school in the city and we have reputation to hold,such kind of behaviour will not be tolerated here ,all four of you will be suspended for a month and I'll make sure your parents get to know what their children do in school"

"You may leave now except you Chris"

We all came out and Rose and Abbie were waiting for me
"What happened?what did they say?are you suspended?"Abbie said sounding worried

"Chris is still in there,I know he will not be suspended,he is the son of a trustee of this school!!see Kalon I told you not to mess with them,now you are suspend....."Rose was saying but I interrupted her.

"Shss don't worry,I am not suspended,Everything is alright"

"What!!!but how?"
They asked together

"You guys ask too much questions!let's go finish our lunch"
I said and dragged both of them along.

After my 6 th period a messanger came and said that principal sir want't to talk to me.

I inwardly smiled because I knew this would happen

"Miss Williams please have a seat,
I just didn't regonise you earlier,If I would have known you are John's daughter I wouldn't have talked to you like that earlier,
Please don't mind I had to do my duty which my position as a principal ask's for,I am really sorry for my behaviour earlier"
He said adjusting his spectacle and looking at me with a sorry look

"No sir you don't need to ask for sorry,you are elder to me and it's your right to scold us whenever we do something wrong,I completely understand your duties ,just please don't ashame me by saying  sorry"
I said with a genuine smile

"Such a lovely child you are,I wish you wouldn't have to leave after a week,let me know if you need my help and give my greeting to your dad"

"Surely will,Thank you sir!"

And I came out of his room to see Becca and her minions were there to welcome me

I looked at her with a bored look

"Becca I have been waiting too long to see what you can do,just hurry up okay I may not have all the time in this world and one thing more do remember that they say  every action has an equal and opposite reaction,but in my case the reaction may be much grater than equal"

I replied with a serious look

Days passed and I never saw Alexander,trully speaking I actually saw him but he didn't see me,I used to hide on seeing him because I didn't wanted to show him my face.
He has an invisible kind of power on me to which draws me to him like a moth is drawn to the fire to only get burned by it.

In this one week Abbie and Rose became good friends
Well more than good friends I should say
We 3 used to hang out together and our fun had no limits
I enjoyed my last week to it's best but now when I think about leaving them my mood changes to sullen

I hate change
I hate starting afresh
I just hate it!!

When I will leave I know Rose will be Abbie's rock
She will watch her back when I couldn't
They will be looking after each other

And with this thought and surety I was ready to leave
It was my last night with them and they both were admant to take me to a club

They said it was a new club's inaugration party
I don't like going to clubs but seeing their puppy dog eyes I couldn't refuse

So here we were standing outside the club doors
Both of them had interlocked both my arms with them so that I couldn't run
I was feeling extremely uncomfortable
First because of the dress I was wearing

It was a beatifull black dress but it was too short for my liking
I always prefer wearing clothes in which I am comfortable but today these devils beside me forced their choices on me
Length was one problem and the other was that it was off shoulder and I was feeling too much exposed by it
I wore a scalf over it but still it was uncomfortable
I felt like it will fall off any second and this thought made me over anxious and nervous

It was normal for Rose and Abbie because they wore these kind of dresses but for me it was unusual
At home also I always preferred comfortable dresses and my parents understood this
My mother scolds me to be more lady like and she tries to convince me to wear them but my dad always takes my side .

While girls like to wear short skimpy sexy body clinging dresses
I prefer jeans t shirt and sneakers

And today I am wearing this black dress but me being me I wore a sweater and scalf over it

"Kalon can you please remove this scalf and sweater ,you are spoiling the look of my dress,you look so sexy without the-"

"Rose I told you my condition for wearing it,just please you guys stop torturing me..!!"

"Okay..oka let's go"

When we entered the club loud music entered my ears,it was so loud that I couldn't hear what Abbie was saying.

We went on the dance floor and started dancing
I was enjoying myself not caring about the world around me
I was dancing like crazy, what's the fun in being sober.

I even stepped on few people foot and elbowed a guy behind me,and after giving them a sorry look we 3 laughed at my stupidness.

This continued for hours and once I was fully exhausted I dropped on the sofa

It was so dark in here that I didn't see where I was sitting and landed on a person sitting on the sofa than the sofa itself.

I was really going crazy today
Without alcohol in my system I am this crazy I wonder what will happen if I have it.

I turned around to see who this unlucky guy was who just got hit with my body weight but when I heard his voice my action stopped

"Where the hell are you sitting!!"

No !!!please!!! Not him!!!
Not him!!

I hurriedly tried to get up from his lap without turning around but as I placed my hands on his kness to get up my hands slipped and again I fell on him backwards

He cursed loudly

"I swear these girls can do anything to catch attention"

I heard him say to the person next to him
My blood boiled on hearing this
This was a mistake but he is so self conceited that he has to think that everyone dies to get his attention.

This time I managed to get up on my own but not before placing my pencil heel on his shinning shoe.
As I put my entire weight on it he again cursed and I laughed in my mind

I was moving towards the dance floor when I heard him from behind

"Hey you!! Wait up!!I know you did it intentionally!!Who do you think yo-"

Before he could continue I turned around and he stood frozen shocked to see me

"Kalon"
He nearly whispered

His gaze left my face to examine my body
I felt uncomfortable under his gaze

Once he looked at my face again
His face showed a look of anger and disapproval

He closed the distance between us and nearly shouted at my face with evident anger

"What the hell are you wearing!!"
Girls around me were dressed in more revealing clothes,my dress was decent in comparison to them but his comment made me doubt it.
I told Abbie and Rose this dress wass revealing!!!

"Clothes"
I replied in a duh voice

His anger futher aggrevated at my lame joke
He grabbed my arm and started pulling me along with him

He took me to a secluded corner where there was less noise
"Why are you here?"

"The same reason why you are here,to enjoy"

"Kalon why can't you stay at your place at this time,you come to a place like this at 1 o clock at night and over that you are wearing these disgusting clothes!!"

"What's the problem with me coming here,Abbie also comes here all the time!"

"Abbie knows how to take care of herself dammit!! But you don't!!
"I can take care of myself "

"Oh really?"

His hands moved on my arms and everwhere he touched felt like sparks fly
He held the neck of my off shoulder top and moved it up
Next his hands adjusted the scalf on my neck

I then realised that because of dancing like crazy
One of the strap of my off shoulder top had fallen down and was revealing too much and the scalf which was to hide the deep neck of my dress was not solving it's purpose

He adjusted my neck and scalf to their original positions

I felt embarrassed and my face was heating up like my body

"You can't even take care of the clothes you are wearing and you expect me to believe that you are capable of taking care of yourself?"

"Now go back home right now"

I defiantly looked into his eyes

"No"

"Whay?"

"I said no!! I am not leaving ,you don't control my life"I said raising my voice

His angry eyes looked into my defiant ones

"Fine,but don't come to me asking for help when some pervert troubles you"

With that he was gone leaving me and my thoughts alone

His presence had increased my body temperature on it's own
I took deep breaths and reassured myself
No one will trouble me unless I trouble them

Also I don't need him ,I will myself punch any person who will mess with me.

I found Abbie and Rose still dancing in the centre
I went towards them but many people blocked my view and way
I pushed passed them but when I reached the centre they were not there

Now where do I find them
I decided to call them but when I unlocked the screen it shut down due to lack of power
Just great!!

"Hey beautifull!"
Someone said from behind me
I refused to acknowledge him and continued to find Abbie and Rose

"You looking for someone?"
I still ignored him

"Hey "
He said grabbing my arm and turning me around

His eyes were red with Alcohol and in he blowed his cigarette breath on my face deliberately

The first thought that came to my mind was that I could definately defeat this drunk man in a duel
He was skinny defeating him wouldn't be difficult

But first lets be civil
I pushed his hands away from me and said

"Sorry mate no chance I am already married"
I said showing him a ring on my ring finger,it was actually a bithday present by my mom but he didn't knew it.

I turned around to leave but he again stopped me
"So where is your husband? Somewhere around here?"

"Yaa ,he must be here somewhere .He just went to get some drinks.You want to join us??"
I asked trying to make him believe me

"No thanks,you guys enjoy"
With that he left me

Well that was easy,
See Alex I can defend myself pretty well.

I waited near our car outside for the girls to return
It was chilli outside if only I could sit inside the car but the keys were with Rose.

I was waiting when I heard a scream behind me
I turned around but there was no one there
Strange

I started waking from where the sound came ,It was a dark alley and I was scared to enter it

I decided to leave but stopped in my tracks when I saw a man trying to rob a lady
Without wasting a second I ran towardss them and started shouting

"Hey leave her!!!
What are you doing!!!"

He pushed her aside and instead of running away from me he started coming towards me
Before I could scream again he muffled my scream with his hands and started dragging me towards the dark ally
I back kicked him with full force and once his grip on my mouth loosened I turned and punched his jaw

I ran from there like a mad man
I could hear loud footsteps chasing me but I didn't turned around to look at them
On my way the heel broke making me fall on the ground
I managed to break my fall by placing my hands infront of me but it resulted in my elbows ,knees and hands getting scrapped
But I couldn't care less

I got up and continued to run
I was soo scared that my heartbeat was breaking all records
But then one thought came into my mind which made me stop in my trracks

My father always told me whenever I was scared
"Kalon baby. Never fear anything ,don't feel scared ever again ,when you are right you should be fearless"

The place I stopped was very near to our car. I turned around to face them

They were 3 ,they halted when they saw I stopped
They were catching their breath while I was forming my strategy

I needed to face my fears and that's what I am doing right now

"I will help you"
I said and they looked at me like I was mad
Which I was actually

"I will give you money but first just tell me why you need it"
They exchanged loooks with each other and next what they did made me doubt my plan
They started laughing

"What will a girl like you give us?we need 40000 dollars to pay off the doctor's bill for the operation of one of our friends? No one is willing to lend us a loan ,no friends,no relatives,no banks and you will give us?"

"Here take this"
I said removing my dimond bracelet from my wrist
"You need it more than I do,it will cost nearly 50000 dollars ,you can pay the doctor with it and with the remaining amout please try to get a degree and find a job ,
Stealing will not make you happy but your earned money will"

They were just staring at me not able to believe what I said
"Now go what are you waiting for,hurry up get your friend operated"

Genuine smiled came on their lips
"Thank you!! Thank you!!"

"Now go"

With that they were gone with smiles on their faces and hope in their hearts
Hope for their friends life as well as their own.

I turned around to go back to the car with a smile on my face also
We all are humans after all
No one wishes to be a thief ,circumstances force them to be one
And today by giving them my bracelet I may have lost many dollars but they were nothing in front of the 4 lives I saved today

Dad you are right ,we should be fearless when we are doing a good deed

And Alexander you were were wrong ,I can take care of myself very well.
