After such an eventful first day the only thing I wanted the most was a cold shower and beauty sleep.I climbed on to my bed and hugged puffy(puppy).When I was ready to call of the day my phone popped up with a message,

text:"you don' t mess with the populars, now start counting your days in this school new girl because they are gonna be akin to hell.

Truthfully ,
your wellwisher."

These guys are seriously unbelievable first that Becca girl warns me, then green eyes and lastly this mystery wellwisher.If standing your ground is called messing with these people then let it be.If they want to break the peace of a calm ocean they will face the consequences of drowning in a tsunami.

I was fighting with Becca because I wanted to be friends with Abbie and my argument with green eyes was because of Puffy . I loved both of them and I was ready to fight for my loved ones so let the game begin.

I picked up my phone blocked this mysterious wellwishers,well you expected me to give a witty comeback sorry to disappoint you but I will try to stay as much underground as possible just like I preffer most of the time.

Next day my first 3 periods were normal, during lunch time I entered the cafetaria and found Becca and green eyes sitting together. Opposite them was a boy with blonde hair who was surrounded by becca's Minions , so these 3 were the populars.

Abbie was talking to me but during our conversation I realised that Abbie was taking hidden glances at the blonde guy who was sitting at the populars table.

" Abbie what are the names of those sitting on the popular table"

" The blonde haired guy is Chris and the one who is sitting with Becca is Alex"
" they are the ones I warned you about yesterday."

" Abbie you have a seat I 'll get our lunch"

"okay"she replied.

While I was standing in the line I heard everyone laughing at something, I turned around to see that Abbie was drenched in milkshake and Becca was standing there holding the glass and laughing, Abbie was on the verge of tears and what all these people could do was laugh.

I picked up cold ice tea from the tray of a boy ahead of me and walked towards Becca, standing in front of her I stared into her eyes and poured the ice tea on her head, everyone around me stopped laughing , I held on to Abbie's wrist to stop her from leaving,she had to see and not run away like a coward.
The next thing I know Becca was embaressed and her anger came out in the form of a tight slap which was stopped in between by my strong hands.She was trying to break free her hand but I had no such intension, I was just holding her wrist and not pressing it to cause her pain which I was much capable of.
My view of Becca was blocked when green eyes aka alexander stood in front of her and commanded in a cold voice

"let go"

I stared into his angry orbs and decided to let go, Becca started shouting from behind him,Alex she bruised my wrist ahhhh it's paining ,she was trying to break it

drama queens like her get on my nerves I was just holding her wrist and see her drama she is seriously a pro in drama department.

Alex continued to stare at me,earlier his eyes were cold as ice now it felt like they were engulfed by fire flames which were ready to burn me alive. Becca's words fueled his anger and he took a step towards me , I stood my ground but Abbie was tugging on my hand asking me to back off.

"First you messed with me yesterday now you are humilating my best friend , do you have a death wish?"

now everyone around me was staring at me with accusing eyes as if I was the one who did wrong,yesterday I had the will to argument but today under the accusing eyes of so many people I knew this was a lost war and I was on losers side, no one was here to support me so I thought it was better to flow with the wind other than standing against it and getting broken in return.Also Alexanders stare and anger vibes radiating from him were not helping me.On lack of getting a reply from me he shouted

" answer me!!!"

intensity of his voice in this pin drop silent cafetaria made my heart thrumming in my chest,Abbie's pull at my hand made me turn towards her ,her eyes were pleading me to stop this fight and leave with her,I listened to her and without turning around to see green eyes I followed her to the washroom.I helped her clean up

"Kalon I asked you to stay away from them why are you so stubborn,why don't you realise that they are very powerful and influencial people , whatever they say goes no one can question them,if anyone reports todays incident we will be the party at fault no matter what they did, in the end we will be the ones getting reprimanded and suspended!!"

" but I can't see them enbaressing and humilating you in front of everyone, they don't get the right to do that to anyone.Sorry if you minded me helping you over there but this is just the way I am, I cannot just watch anything bad hapenning around me and do nothing"

"okay i'll listen to you for once but if things go overboard I am stepping in"

"Kalon you are the best thing that happened to me,I love you bestie, and one thing more please don't argue with Alex ,he is the one who changed the most,and messing with him is like messing with fire you will only get burned in the end,he dosen't feel emotions except for Becca so pleaseee don't get hurt."

" but why can't he see through her fascade is he dumb or what!!"

"leave them lets go to our next period" after my day was over I went to the lockers to keep my stuff,in my locker was a invitation to a great house party,which was to be held tomorrow and it was written that it was compulsory for all those who get this card,I asked Abbie if I could ditch it as I hated parties but she said that it was compulsory as it was hosted by "the popular group"

I was having a bad feeling about this party,but without a say I can do nothing , just hope to get over with it.
