Remember that time Cat and Cecelia convinced Phoenix to be their third person for a group Halloween costume? Well now you get to see it play out.

The crew was hanging out at the Hard Deck, which Penny had decorated for the holiday. Now, it was everyone's first Halloween since the mission.

Meaning they didn't know just how serious Cece and Cat are about it. But they're about to find out.

Penny had made a 'costumes mandatory for entry' rule for the night, so costumes of every kind could be seen.

The typical ones, like the Devil, an angel, cowboys, pirates, superheroes, you name it surrounded the bar. A few more creative ones like different kinds of aliens or some sick looking sfx makeup were sprinkled in.

The crew themselves consisted of a cowboy (Hangman of course), a drummer (Fanboy), Han Solo (Bob of all people), a coyote (Coyote with the pun), cyborg makeup (Payback), and Mr. Fantastic (Rooster).

Hangman almost fell to the floor laughing when Rooster walked in.

But no one was prepared for the girls to walk in.

"I can't believe I agreed to this," Natasha complains as she gets out of the car. "I work with practically everyone in the bar, I don't want them seeing me like this!"

Cat simply rolls her eyes before lightly slapping Natasha's ass. "Hey now, you look hot. You always do, so they should really just be happy you even talk to them."

Cecelia laughs a little before smirking at her. "Besides, I doubt Hangman is going to be able to take his eyes off of you."

Natasha rolled her eyes and lightly shoved Cece but blushed all the same.

Despite not have the instruments for the Hex Girls, you could definitely tell who they were. And each of the girls had on a rather tight dress, leaving little to the imagination.

Two of them were in happy relationships, and fully expecting to catch their respective partners by surprise. But Cat was looking for someone to enjoy the night with, so she was taking full advantage of their costumes.

Before anything else could be said, Cece opened the door and they walked into the bar.

Where, almost immediately both Rooster and Hangman dropped their jaws to the floor. I'm talking full on, mouths wide open, barley breathing, eyes comically large.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people stopped to see the new arrivals and quite a few had the same reaction. But seeing these two men, especially Hangman, at a loss for words was rare.

Once the girls made their way to the group, both Cece and Phoenix closed their partners' mouths. But Phoenix is took it a bit further, never one to pass up an opportunity to tease Hangman.

"You'll catch flies if you keep that mouth of yours open any longer." He still can't think straight. "Cat got your tongue?"

All she can do is smirk while Hangman tries to regain his sanity. But it doesn't last for long. "That dress would look better on my floor, don't you agree?" Hangman went bold there, having no shame in the thoughts he was clearly projecting.

"Ok! We didn't need to hear that!" Fanboy says quickly before anything escalates.

The night continues on, bets on pool being placed, games of darts being played. By the end of the night, everyone has had a sufficient amount of drinks.

But it's Cat who says something to set everything up. "Ok boys," she gestures to the single ones in the group. "Someone get a girlfriend by next year so we can have a four person costume."

Cece claps her hands. "Yes, there are so many more four person ideas than three person." Suddenly she's letting out a gasp. "We could be the Cheetah Girls!"

"Ooh, ooh," Cat plays out as well, "we could rope in your brothers and finally do Lemonade Mouth. Nat is our missing girl!"

Natasha has also had plenty to drink that night and doesn't hesitate to agree. "Now that would be awesome. I call dibs on Stella!"

"No, I wanted Stella! It was my idea!"

Before a drunk argument can break out, not thay it would be anything serious, Rooster interjects. "Ok, how about you guys plan this closer to next year?"

"And how about we call it a night?" Hangman puts in after they calm down.

It was late and they would all have pretty nasty hangovers on the morning. It was best to call it now.

And while the hangovers definitely hurt in the morning, they were well worth it. That was the best Halloween anyone had had in a long time.

It was definitely one for the record books, that for sure.

This is the shortest I've written for this book so far, but I did say I wanted to make these shorter. So far I have failed at that until this very moment, lol.

The girls' Hex Girls costume is above, I wasn't able to find many examples.

I tried to associate the boys' costumes to their actors real life roles/connections.
Glen(Hangman) is from Texas, hence the Cowboy.
Danny(Fanboy) is a drummer in his movie 'Look Both Ways'.
Lewis(Bob) is the son of Bill Pullman who plays Lonestar in Spaceballs, a parody character of Han Solo.
Tarzan(Coyote) is literally a Coyote cause I thought it would be funny
Jay(Payback) is a cyborg because of his movie 'Escape Room' where the poster is a girl with machine parts to her face.
And Miles(Rooster) is Mr. Fantastic from his run in the reboot of the Fantastic Four.
