After 3 months

Avni

   I never thought I'll able to happy again in my life after I married but I'm. And the reason of my happyness is only Neil, my bodyguard but my best friend ( smile ). I trusts him more than myself. It was tough but he made it easier. Now I have someone who care for me truly and whom I can trust blindly.

" Where are you lost, madam " Neil waved his hand infront of me and I came out of my thoughts. I smiled and shook my head.

" Nowhere. But what are you doing here this time " I asked placing the book on side table I was reading before sometime. He gave me a confused look.

" I mean it's your lunch time so " he frowned and sat on couch pouting cutely. I chuckled at his expression.

" What happened " I asked raising my brows.

" Same dishes again and they are so tasteless " He said making faces and huffed. He is right, no one likes to eat same thing regularly. I felt bad for him.

" Ok, so tell me what you want to eat ? I'll make for you " I'll be happy if I can do anything for him.

" You ? " He asked being surprised.

" Yes, me " obviously.

" Thank you, Avni but it's ok I'll eat something later " he smiled and denied.

" No, it's not okay. I don't want my bodyguard aka friend to stay hungry despite having a MasterChef friend with him " I don't want to praise myself but I'm very good in cooking.

" It will my pleasure to taste your handmade food, Miss MasterChef, but don't forget you are a queen too "

" So what's the problem with me being queen " I asked folding my arms over my chest. He frowned.

" You can't do any work, Avni. You have servants for that and don't forget what happened last month " He said rolling his eyes.

   I remembered the incidence he is referring to. A flower pot broke mistakenly by me so I thought to clean it and when I was picking up the broken pieces of flower plot, Rajmaa came there and scolded me. She said I'm a queen and I should behave like one. She also taunted me for belonging from a poor family. When I tried to reply her back the mama's boy pop up there suddenly and obviously he took his mamaa's side. I stayed quiet as I didn't have any other option. Neil also witnessed that incidence and was very angry on the both mother and son.

" I don't want you to get scold for me " I smiled at his concern. He cares for me too much.

" Neil, nothing gonna happen. No one is here to scold me.  Both mamma and mamaa's boy is not in palace. So tell me what you wanna eat " I said raising my brows.

" Is that so then I have a long list " he smirked.

" I knew it " I rolled my eyes.

" Umm..." I moaned licking my fingers. After ages I ate something delicious. I was literally fed up of eating those tasteless food.

" Give me your hands " she looked at me confusedly.

" Why " I took her hands on mine and kissed on it one by one.

" You have magic in your hands, Avni. The food is delicious " I smiled and she smiled back.

" I told you " she said raising her imaginary collar and then started giggling. Beautiful. I chuckled at her antics and then back to my food.

" You know I was missing Neela maa's handmade food but I wouldn't now " I said honestly.

    I haven't told her why I'm here for and I feels guilty for that. She trusts me so much but I'm hiding my real identity from her. It's not that I don't trusts her enough to tell her everything. I trusts her more than myself but I don't want her get in any trouble because of me.

  Don't know what will be her reaction after knowing the truth ? Hope she wouldn't think that I cheated on in any way. I never did that and won't ever. I got a true friend in her and I don't wanna lose her. She is very special for. It's feels so good around her. I love to hear her melodious voice and sometimes I gets lost in that ( chuckled ). She is very beautiful and she looks even more beautiful when she smiles. I just can't stop staring at her when she laughs whole heartedly.

" Oh no, I forgot the Khir " she face palmed herself.

" Khirrr " I said grinning. She chuckled at my childish reaction.

" Han buddhu....wait...I'll be back in 5 mins " she walked out of room.

    I waited in her room. Most of the time I stays here with her as Vidyut don't let her go outside if it's not necessary to. I suppose to stay outside of her room but since we became friends I stays inside without anyone's knowledge. If anyone get to know about this then the consequences wouldn't be good for her. But don't to worry about this as I fixed a sensor motion detector outside of her room which is connected with my mobile. It sends me message when when it detects footsteps. I had to use that anyway because I can't stay outside of her room all day. I also have to do my work for which I'm here.

   It's been 30 mins Avni gone for bring khir but not come yet. Why she is taking so long ? I should check on her. I wiped my hands with tissue paper and came out of room. I saw she was in main hall with Vidyut and some guests, I guess. I was standing on upstairs and watching them. After 5 mins the guests went out of palace. Vidyut held Avni's hand and dragged her to upstairs. What the hell is he doing with Avni ?

   He dragged her to his room but before that he sent his bodyguards from there. I came to his room and hid behind the door outside of room so I can see and hear the their conversation. I know it's wrong but the way he was dragging Avni, I didn't like that.

" Why you always forget that you are a queen " Vidyut shouted on Avni. What is his problem ?

" I only cooked, didn't do any crime " Avni said in a low voice. Shit....how he got to know ?

" Who told you to cook ? Don't we have chefs for that but no, you can't forget your middle class life. For God sake don't forget that you are a queen now " he said holding Avni's shoulder tightly. Avni winced in pain. I clenched my fists and jaws in anger. Leave her you moron.

" What will my friends be thinking about me ?  You wants to ruin my image, right ? " He digs his nails on Avni's skin.

" Ahh... please leave me "  Avni pleaded. I'm sorry Avni, it's all my fault. I punched on the wall.

" No, you need a punishment so that you would not break any rule again " I will kill you b*****d if you harm her.

      He held her hand and walked toward the door. I hid behind a pillar before he came out and then followed them. He stopped outside of  store room.

" You will stay inside the store room till tomorrow morning without any food or water " what the fuck he thinks of himself ? He can't torture Avni. I just wanna bang his head on wall until he pass out.

" No, please don't do this " Avni pleaded but he didn't care and pushed her inside the store room. He locked it and kept the key inside his pocket. He then walked towards Avni's room. He must be coming to me. I looked at the room for the last time and ran to Avni's room through a another way. I'll take you out from there, Avni.

    I stood on my position outside of Avni's room before Vidyut reach there.

" Rani sa is not in her room. She ordered me to wait here and still not come yet " I said controlling my anger.

" Yeah, I know. I came here to inform you that your duty is done for today, so you can go now. Come tomorrow on your time " I nodded my head. Good now it will be easy for me to take out her from there.

  I went out of palace and came to servant quarters where all the servants  and bodyguard stays. After 15 mins I came to Rani's room through the window and then came to store room. This part of palace don't have any guards, so it will be easy to take her with me. I took out my smart key with which I can unlock any normal lock. I unlocked the key and opened the door. I entered inside and closed the door. The room was completely dark. I switched on the turch on my mobile and looked around. I felt a pang on my heart when I saw her laying on floor. She is getting punishment for no reason. You too got your punishment soon, Vidyut.

    How can anyone do this to his own wife ? But from whom I expecting this ? After all he is Ragini's son. Like mother like son. And this innocent soul is suffering in this hell.

" Avni...see I'm here with you..Avni "  I caressed her hairs but didn't react.  " Avni....Avni " why she is not responding ?

   I have holds her face and puts her head on my lap, then I saw her forehead is bleeding. You will pay for this, Vidyut. I knew Avni don't deserves him, she deserves better and now I'm 100 percent sure about it. She deserves the best in the world. Once I finish my work for which I am here, after that I will also free Avni from here. I don't want you to suffer here.

   I took Avni in my arms and came out out store room. I locked the door again so Vidyut wouldn't know about Avni being not inside. When I passed the half of the way to Avni's room I saw some guards was coming this way. I hid behind a big pillar and when they reached to the I was I moved to the another side. I waited till they completely went from this hallway and then I took Avni to her room. I placed her on bed and locked the door from inside.
