Naruto's POV
"Bara, how come Sasuke can see your visions as well?" I ask her as we walk through the woods to find something for Sasuke's head.

"He's my soulmate. I know you like me but I know you love Sakura. I also know she really likes Sasuke but deep down she loves you. She just won't show it. Not yet anyway. It's not the right time for you to be together. Soon enough though." She says smiling at me. "Aha! Here's what we need. Thank Kami."

"I'm glad. Is he going to be alright?" I ask her.

"Yeah, he'll be fine. He's just not used to it yet. Maybe I should grab some more so if it happens again we won't have to go look for more."

"I agree."

~time skip to on the way back to The Hidden Village of The Leaves.~
Bara's POV
The rest of our trip went smoothly and now we're on our way back. So far it's been smooth and looks like it will be that way for a while.

"Hey cap, there's a group passing by. They didn't attack but they look suspicious." Raging Disaster said.

"Gotcha. Don't worry." I reply.

That's strange an ANBU unit being out? I wonder what's going on. I hear someone's thoughts.

Haha. That group didn't even recognize me. Haha, how lovely now it'll be easier to take them out. Somebody else thinks.

"Guys, be prepared for a fight. I don't know who these guys are after but it isn't good." I say into the mic and to the group.

"Okay." They all say together.

I pull my mask over my face and have Naruto and Sakura walk in between Sasuke and I. I see someone walking towards us so the entire group moves over. That's when I realize only one person was walking towards us.

Perfect cover. They're backs are now facing me.

I turn around as fast as I can and throw kunoi at this person. "Naruto stay here!" I shout and jump to where the guy is.

"I should have known that Zenbu Mirume was around when I saw your unit of ANBU." The man says.

"What do you want? And who are you?" I ask.

"That's for me to know and you to find out."

"You know, I'm really sick of that line. I think I'll kill you now." I state coldly.

Before he can say anything else I appear behind him with a kunoi in hand and stab it into his temple. This is so tiring. I just want to go home in peace. I think to myself.

"You good?" Sasuke asks.

"Yeah. I'm just tired. I'll be back a second." I say back.

I poof back to the others and we begin walking again. We're two days from the village. It's starting to get dark.

"Let's make camp for the night." dad says.

"Alright. Lightning Demon and I are going to scout the area out." I state.

Sakura's POV (really didn't see that comings)
"Let's make camp here for the night." Kakashi-sensei says.

"Alright. Lightning Demon and I are going to scout the area out." Bara states and walks off into the wooded area. While Lightning Demon goes off the other way to scout out.

About half an hour later Lighting Demon comes back but there's still no sign of Bara. I'm even starting to get worried. Sasuke and Kakashi-sensei look as if they're going to have a panic attack although they don't show it on the outside.

"Sasuke, have you heard anything from her?" Kakashi-sensei asks.

"How would he be able to contact her?" I ask annoyed and angry. He's always with her it's infuriating.

"No, and Sakura, she's my souls mate. I can hear her every thought as she can hear everyone's thoughts if she wants."

WHAT!? NOOOOO!!! My Sasuke-kun.

"Can you hear her thoughts?" Kakashi-sensei asks. And Sasuke shakes his head no.

"It's not unusual. She can block me out whenever she wants. She's probably trying to be quiet. Or she's unconscious." He says emotionlessly even though his eyes show worry.

Sasuke's POV
"Bara! Come on. Answer me! Bara! Please! You've been gone for an hour now. Lightning Demon is back already! Bara!" I keep trying to reach her but to no avail.

"Anything?" Bara's team asks.

"No. Can you reach her through the mics?" They shake their heads no.

"Sasuke?! Please, whatever you do don't come looking for me. Pack up now and run to the Village! Now! I've been captured!" Bara finally answers.

"Bara's been captured.." I say quietly. "She said we need to move out now..."

"What?! Captured by who?!" Everyone asks.

"Bara, who has you?"

"Itachi."

"That bastard! I will save you!"

"No! That's what he wants! Just go back to the village. I will try to get away as soon as I can. Be patient! I love you Sasuke." Bara says the last bit sadly but with every ounce of her heart.

"Please come back to me. I'll wait for you. And I'll tell you to your face."

"Who has her?" Kakashi's-sensei asks well more demands.

"Itachi. She'll get away from him." I tell him as we take off again towards the village.

"Did she tell you that?" Sakura asks.

"Yes." I say blankly.

Bara's POV
~when she was scouting~
I look up at the sun to see the time of day. "Well, I should head back. I'm sure Lightning Demon is back." I say to myself.

I turn to leave when Itachi jumps in front of me. "I don't think you're going anywhere Sweetheart." He says coldly.

"Come on Ita. Look, I don't want to fight, i just wanna go home." I say flatly.

"I haven't heard that name in a while, Bara. Just come peacefully with me." He says.

"If I go with you, you have to promise you will not touch Sasuke or anyone else. And that goes for your men as well. Nobody can lay a finger on them."

"You have our word." Itachi says bowing. "Our princess is coming home!"

"I'm not your princess. And I'm not going home, my home is with Sasuke and my dad. I'm going with you to protect them." I state coldly.

"No matter what you say you're still our princess." He says back.

"Whatever. I'm so glad I've learned to block Sasuke out of my head." I say to myself.

"So Sasuke is your soul mate. Is that why I can see any visions that involve me?" He asks.

"Yeah probably. Nobody else has ever been able to until you and Sasuke. I think it's cause your brothers."

"Well we should probably head out. Don't try to escape this time around." Itachi says coldly.

"Sasuke?! Please, whatever you do don't come looking for me. Pack up now and run to the Village! Now! I've been captured!" I say finally contacting him.

"Bara, who has you?"

"Itachi."

"That bastard! I will save you!"

"No! That's what he wants! Just go back to the village. I will try to get away as soon as I can. Be patient! I love you Sasuke." I tell him.

"Please come back to me. I'll wait for you. And I'll tell you to your face." He replies back.

I sigh and walk through the woods with Itachi and his group. We walk in complete silence until I hear someone's thoughts.

There's the girl.

I stop dead in my tracks and Itachi noticed. He turns and looks at me but I turn to where I heard the thought. "Whoever you are you may as well come out now." I state very cold heartedly.

"Hm, so the rumors are true that you can hear others thoughts." He say impressed.

"What do you want with me?" I question.

"Isn't it obvious, I'm here to kill you." He says in an amused tone.

Within a flash I'm behind him with a kunoi to his throat. "Sorry, that's not going to happen." I say as I slit his throat. Blood splattering all over me.

"Cold hearted as usual. Well shall we go?" Itachi asks.

"Obviously." I reply.

We walk for a few hours before deciding to make camp and rest. Because Itachi doesn't trust me to be alone I have to share a tent with him. This is so annoying. I wonder, who was that guy who wanted to kill me. "Ita, by chance, do you know who that guy was who wanted to kill me?" I ask in a very bored tone.

"No." he says blankly.

"Who would want me dead?" I question to myself.

"Who knows." He answers even though I wasn't actually asking anyone.

"Lord Itachi, there's been a disturbance back at HQ." one of his men say.

"You force them to call you Lord?" I ask and he glares at me but ignores me.

"What happened?" He asks.

"Well, Shisho went haywire again durning training."

"Did they get him under control?"

"Yes, after losing 10 people." He answers.

"Then obviously they weren't strong enough." I state earning a glare from the guy but Itachi agrees with me.

I wonder how everyone is doing. I hope they're all fine. I sigh and lay down on my sleeping bag knowing I won't get to keep watch.

Sasuke's POV ~time skip to the village~
"I'll go talk to the Hokage." I state as I take off.

I walk into the building and up to his office. I knock twice and hear, "come in."

I walk into his office and bow to him. "Lord Hokage, i have some bad news." I say in an almost inaudible voice.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Hatake Bara, also known as Zenbu Mirume.. she's been captured. She does not wish to resign from her post as ABNU captain as she does plan on returning here the minute she can escape."

"And how do you know this?" He asks.

"I can communicate telepathically with her."
