Prologue

"Daddy---It hurts! It hurts so bad," the small child whined and cried out in pain as red thick blood poured out on the debris that trapped them.

"Please help me!"  the heavy concrete didn't move under the girl as she cried harder, her throat raw from screaming. The pain she was feeling was excruciating, her head was beginning to throb and the numbing pain in her left arm--or what was left of it--still began to supply the ground around her with blood. Her eyes stung from the dust of the pavement that crushed her small body. A chilling thought filled her throbbing head.

What if her dad couldn't find her?

What if her quirk acted up again?

What would she do?

What would her dad do?

Her tears never ceased as she screamed out incoherent pathetic cries for help. Suddenly something blocked the light that peeked out from a crack in the pavement. Finding a newfound voice she screamed.

And screamed.

And screamed.

But help never came. The buildings remains had collapsed once again, blocking out her sight.

"DA-Daddy!"  her cries trailed off until the only sound left was the creaking of metal and heavy concrete adjusting above her head. Her bleeding face rested on the cracked ground, the soft padding of the water from the building's system dripping onto her dirty cheek. Her legs were numb and she was most likely paralyzed from the crushing weight on top of her.

"Mommy..." Her eyes closed.

The little girl sat up in bed, her brown long hair curling around her small frame, the numbing pain that never left her left arm, her right arm bandaged with a light breathable gaze. Her blushed cheeks were puffy and her eyes stung from crying. Getting up from her comfortable mattress, she left her starry room. Her wobbly legs carried her to the end of the hallway, opening the door, she quietly closed it behind her and crawled onto the large bed and cuddled into the broad chest of her father.

"Have that dream again?" a groggy voice asked her.

She could only nod.

"Okay," was the response of her father.

"..." a stiffening silence consumed them. Her small voice spoke out in the cold room, "Daddy?" She asked. Her father hummed, he tucked her closer to him, wrapping the blankets over her small body.

"Did mommy have bad dreams too?"

Her father was quiet before he hummed, "she used to do this too, after all, we all had our bad dreams here and there." The little girl nodded slightly, "Kaiyo," her father caught her attention and she let out a muffled reply from his chest.

"You're strong. Stronger than me, Stronger than a lot of older people and kids your age," Kaiyo nodded, not seeing why he was telling her this, "I want you to know, when you have these dreams, that they won't hurt you anymore." Kaiyo's eyes dulled. The once bright emerald orbs softening into a forest green. Sighing, she got up and nodded.

"Okay, Daddy..." she made her way out of her father's bedroom. But stopped when she was at the door, "goodnight.." her small voice was even quieter as she closed the door behind her.

Aizawa rubbed his eyes as he sat at his desk, annoyed, Izuku, his student came up to his desk about to ask a question when a soft knock on the door interrupted the unusually quiet classroom.
