Chapter 21 part 2
Kaito decided to tell his mother, as soon as getting home, that was why he was right now sitting in the living room. She was waiting patiently for him to talk. For once he was glad that his mother wasn't going to try making him talk.
"He woke up."
That was the first thing he told her, and she beamed at this. Not just beaming as well looking relieved. He was still beaming and feeling like he could fly. That was how happy he was right now. Kaito felt giddy and butterflies were felt in his stomach. Of course, his mother noticed this and that was why she was waiting right now for him to continue.
"I have hidden something from you, that I have a crush on someone. The person is the same gender and I love him so much. That much that it was painful for me when something happened to him."
There was a pause as he told her how he felt the last three weeks. It was something that he never had told anyone, not even Saguru. But he would tell the teen how he was feeling the past three weeks, he had to. His crush deserved to know how he felt.
"I wasn't sure what to do without him, and I never want something like this ever happening to him. I decided to tell this person, and that person is Saguru Hakuba."
His mother smiled softly as he was soon pulled by her in a hug.
"It's alright, and congratulation. Glad to know that he liked you back. I had the feeling that you loved him. Call it mother instinct. I knew how much Saguru meant, that is why I came instantly home when hearing that he got in a coma."
That was why he loved his mother so much. She wasn't always there for him physically but she was always there per phone call. That she was coming back just because this meant so much. Yes, she wasn't the best mother, but she made up for it with being here.
"You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you, mom."
His voice was soft and he hugged her back. It was a relieve to know that she wasn't going to push him away. The relieve was big, and he was glad to know that she was there for him.
"No problem son. How about I am going to bake a cake for you?"
This made him squeal in delight. The cake from her was one of the best, and he loved it when she was baking something.
"Heck yeah, you are the best. Love you, mom."
The female chuckled as letting go of the hug, and he as well. She ruffled his hair as giving him a kiss on his cheeks.
"Love you too my cute son."
The rest of the night was heard with laughter as well chatting of the two. It was one of the best day of his life. First, his crush woke up, then he returned his feelings and now his mother accepting him and the two baking a cake together.

The morning came and everything was like the usual or almost. Kaito beaming and having a massive goofed grin on his lips. Kaito was happy, and couldn't wait for school to end. One thing was clear nothing could make his mood go sour or so he thought. Shinichi looked amused at him, and Aoko was perplexed not really knowing how to react to his mood. Soon his smile was a bit smaller as he wasn't that in the mood to go to school.

As entering his throat tightens as he instantly glomped at the first person which was near him. The person was Aoko and she narrowed her eyes, as hugging him back. His body was shivering constantly. Why was there a b-big f-finny thing on his table?
"Alright, who was this? I want answers now."
Shinichi had a dark aura around him, and Kaito felt like passing out by now. His best friend noticed this and rushed over picking the thing off his table and rushing outside, probably throwing it away. By now he was hyperventilating. It was until Shinichi was back and taking over for Aoko.
"Aoko get the teacher. Kaito you need to breathe in and out calmly."
Kaito followed the breathing and he soon was better, or almost. Right now he was too shaken up to even get himself to talk.
"I will clean the table, will you be fine?"
He shook his head, and Shinichi nodded as letting out a sigh. A stink eye was probably given to everyone.
"I know who it was. Matsun Aka."
One of the students said and he felt himself being put to a chair, probably Shinichi one. The teen sat him there, and he was silent. By now the hug was left, and he watched the Heisei holmes starting to put one and one together.
"I can't believe you would do this. He doesn't just fear them. He has a phobia of them, which is dangerous. It can lead to someone's death."
Soon the teacher came in and Shinichi explained to the adult what happened. The person who has done this ended up in detention, and the rest of school he was silent. No one managed to get him to talk, not even Shinichi.

Thanks to Saguru he was better. God, does he love Saguru so much. Kaito couldn't imagine a life without this teen. The rest of the evening, he was staying with the said teen and he entirely forgot about the accident. Saguru made sure that he wasn't going to think about what happened in school today.

The next day came, and Matsun apologized and he accepted it. He wasn't one who was holding a grudge against someone that fast.
"I want to know why you did it."
The answer came unexpected and he wasn't really sure how to react to this.
"I was jealous of you. I didn't mean any harm, I just was thinking that maybe Kudo-kun would stop being your friend."
His head tilted to the side in confusion and it seemed that Shinichi got the reason.
"You have a crush on me don't you?"
This was making him more puzzled. Soon a small blush was seen on the male in front of them and he finally realized the reason why Matsun had done this.
"I am sorry, but I can't accept your feelings. I have someone who I like. Next time try not to do something like this."
Matsun nodded and looked ashamed, with this that was finished. Matsun left with this, and he noticed that the teen was from time to time glancing at him. He could see the guilt in the eyes. It was making him feel bad as well now. The rest of the day was normal. Once again he visited Saguru. He told the teen about Matsun's reason and it seemed that it was making him let out a sigh. The rest of the week nothing happened, and he visited Saguru every day after school. Now two weeks later, Kaito knew that Saguru finally got released today from the hospital.

I decided to make a two-part of chapter 21. I forgot about the family of Shinichi and Kaito. I decided not yet to make Kaito tell the Nakamori's. You can guess why. I hope you enjoyed the two-part of this chapter, and I hope to see you all in the next chapter, bye.~
