Kaito felt delighted that the Osakan was there. It made him feel happier. That the other visit was a happy surprise and it seemed that Shinichi knew about it. Right now they were on their way back to his house. It was decided that they would go there. So they talked for a few hours as soon both had to go back. It made him a bit sad as he wouldn't see them until the school has ended, but he knew at least that he could see them afterward.

The next day...

"Kaito...up."

His Indigo eyes slowly opened as he saw his Aoko being in front of him. A yawn was stifled as he looked at her puzzled. 

"Mou, Bakaito you have to get ready. School you know."

A sigh escaped as he frowns. He really didn't want to go to school, as the students there for sure would whisper again about him, not to mention the eyes who always watched him. 

"Oh come on, you won't be alone and Aoko will stop them from bothering you. Oh and today a new student is coming."

That perked his interested as he sat up and stretched himself. Maybe that person was nice. At least now he had a reason to go. He was still tired from making the rest precautions about the heist and he was happy with what he had planned.

"Alright, Aohoko let me change my clothes and eat something."

The female gave him a grin now as she walked out. As the door was closed a sigh escaped again. The school could get interesting with a new student, but was it worth it? Meh, he had to see how worth it really it was. So he pushed the blanket aside and standing up. With a poof, the bed was made and another poof his clothes changed into his school uniform. He then walked downstairs, with a small smile.

"Morning Mom."

The mentioned adult squealed in delight seeing his son out of bed and in his school uniform. Yesterday he actually got a bit too late, not that the teacher was complaining. They knew about his condition, but still, he wasn't really in the mood to go to school. Kaito would rather go back to the hospital and stay with Sagu-chan.

"Good morning Kai-chan. Good to see you up."

The other huffed as he shrugged as walking up to the table. 

"Itadakimasu."

As he began to eat, soon he was finished and his mother giving him the bento for lunch. Both Aoko and Kaito said goodbye as they walked to school. It was relatively silent, with Aoko talking about different things, mostly about Akako. As she had a small crush on the other girl. It was surprising to him, but as long as she was happy, he wouldn't mind it. Akako wouldn't hurt his childhood friend or at least he hoped she wouldn't or he would give her his piece of mind.

As they entered school, the whisper started once again as well the eyes who were on him. It made him shiver and going a bit more closely toward the girl. She saw this and gave the other students a warning glare. It worked to some extends, but not really much. As they entered, all eyes where on both of them, which made him flinch as he felt more anxious now.

"Guys, stop staring. I don't think that Nakamori-chan and Kaito appreciate that you are staring at them."

That was making them stop and Akako gave both of them a sympathetic look. For once he was grateful for the red witch. The other female was helping as well out now and was nice to him. Maybe it was because of Aoko, or maybe just because the red wich witch was genuinely cornered about him. He wasn't sure and it wasn't really mattering. 

They walked up to their seats and Aoko sat behind him. It seemed that this would stay from now on like this. Soon enough the teacher came into the room and called each name to see who was there. The usual as he was finished his attention got caught again, because of the announcement.

"We have a new student here. You can come in."

As he said a particular male came in. His eyes widen as he gaped at the now entered Shinichi Kudo. That was a pleasant surprise for him and he didn't know how to react to this. The other smirked and he knew why. 

"You can introduce yourself to the class, but I am sure most people know you."

The other gave a polite nod to the teacher and began to talk.

"I am Shinichi Kudo, detective which most of you probably know and the best friend of Kai-chan."

The other whispered now as hearing his name and felt more uncomfortable. 

"Class silence, and Kudo-san you can sit next to Kuroba-san. I am sure that you know who that is."

The other gave another polite nod as he walked up to the table, as soon as he was right next to him, Kaito stood up giving the latter a quick hug.

"You should have said something Shin-chan."

The other chuckled as hugging back and giving afterward a ruffle through the other's hair.

"Nah, I wanted to surprise you and your reaction was too good."

The other huffed and soon grinned. At least now his school days would for sure be more pleasant. A cough was made by the teacher, which led to both apologize as they sat down. Some whisper was made but soon stopped by three warning glares, two from the females and one from his best friend. He didn't listen to what the teacher taught them. His mind trailed off to Saguru like yesterday. Usually, his mind trailed often to him. The break came and he began to play with cards whenever he was on his mind.

"Kai-chan you doing alright?"

He blinked a few times as his head turned around to see Shinichi. Having here in school was a big help and made him at least feel less anxious.

"Yeah, just thinking about Sagu-chan. You know he still hasn't woken up and it is now three weeks. I just..."

The other let out a depressed sigh, and Shinichi looked at him in sympathy as ruffling through his hair.

"I am sure that he will wake up soon."

That was making him feel more at ease as he gave him a grin now. It helped him hearing this from Shinichi. The rest of the school was boring and nothing happened. So that now he walked home with Shinichi and Aoko. It was lively now and sadly his best friend had to go somewhere, but it was good so that he could prepare for the heist. Which he knew will for sure would be interesting...
