Kaito looked at the unconscious male and still felt guilty, he should have been faster. So far he hasn't woken up and it was now three weeks and two days. When it had happened it was on a Saturday. His injuries almost healed, but it wasn't looking like he would wake up any time soon. Kaito visited every day and talked about many things. 

The third day he started to talk to him as it seemed that the other was responding in some kind of way. But so far he was not waking up. So that he was now in a coma. He let out a sigh, his mentality got slowly better now, but he still was sometimes shaky and when attention was on him he still got anxious. 

"I hope you don't mind me calling you Saguru or maybe Sagu-chan. I am getting better and today was the first day I got back to school. It was weird not having you there. My mom actually forced me to go as she told me I need to interact with others and stop mopping. I was sure I put up a good poker face, but mom always realizes how I feel."

Kaito's voice was cheery, and on his face was at first a grin. He paused as he let out another sigh as his grin slowly fell and a frown made its way over his face. 

"I couldn't do it, going to school. I wanted to stay with you for the whole day. She decided to stay at home and trying her best to make me feel less lonely. It gets lonely, having you not respond to me. Oh and isn't that great that she won't go to her journey's for now? Thanks to you she is finally home. I am glad that you told me to tell her. The school day wasn't really good. The whispers and how they always look at me was making me uncomfortable."

A groan escaped out of his mouth, yet his voice was soft. Not just that his voice was slowly getting shakier. The other hadn't realized it yet how his voice was beginning to get more shaken up, with each word spoken.

"At least Aoko had changed. She doesn't yell that often anymore and the attacks with the finny things stopped entierly. Whatever you told her helped greatly.  She is actually helping out and stopping the others from looking at me and whispering. Yet it won't stop, and I can't really blame them nor being mad at them, I did change after all..."

His eyes trailed away from the unconscious teen, to outside. 

"Sagu-chan when...hic will...hic wake up...I miss..hic you."

His voice cut out at the last part as out of him came a choked sound and more tears began to roll after the last word. It was now the third week and he was missing the other so much. Now he regretted not telling the other how much he fell in love with the brit. Will he wake up? Or will the other stay forever asleep? Soon he felt arms around him. The last week he was still trying to put his cheerful poker face, but right now he couldn't anymore. 

It crumbled down and who could blame him. Those two were best friends at the end and he realized it, after all, Saguru changed a few weeks ago. He realized how much he loved Saguru, and the regret was heavy on his mind. Clinging on the person and crying his eyes off, it was so painful right now. And he just couldn't hold it up any longer.

"He wouldn't want to see you like this."

The voice was from none other than Shinichi. Those two got rather close now, more than before. Now they were best friends and Kaito was so glad that he got someone who helped him out the last three weeks. The other hadn't told him yet but he decided to go to the same school as Kaito. At least like this, he could be more there for the other.

"Sniff, you're r-right Shin-chan."

The other soon stopped crying, other than a few sniffles.  The hug was left as he gave the other a grateful smile.

"Ar' ya feelin' better now?"

Jumping slightly at the new voice, but it instantly turned into a bright smile as he turned his head towards the Osakan. The two befriend each other rather quickly after that day. He wasn't as close with the other detective, but close enough that they where best friends as well. Sadly the other wasn't that much here other than on weekends.

"Heiji, you here!"

Kaito squealed in delight as he jumped up and running towards the other and glomping him into a hug. The other slightly stumbled but caught himself before losing his balance. The other teen who had been hugged of course hugged him back and chuckled. It wasn't something that he expected and he wondering now why was the other here in Beika? It was Monday and the other shouldn't be here. Last weekend he hadn't had time to visit Beika and so he hadn't seen him. Tho they stayed in contact with per e-mail and per phone calls, which was every day.

"I am here for ta whole week. A case, though  I am goin' to make a surprise visit."

Having Heiji here was making his mood feel so much better than before. 

"I am so glad to see you. That case won't be dangerous, I hope?"

The hesitation was heard from both of the detectives and both knew why. Since the other got injured, Kaito was always worried for both of them. It made sense and they couldn't blame him for being like that.

"It's fine, we are with the police."

The other gave a nod and let out a relieved sigh. At least the two won't be that much in danger. The other let go of the hug but putting an arm around Kaito's shoulder.

"Tomorrow is a full moon. I wanted to be sure that I am better and Sagu-chan would scold me for mopping around."

Both were surprised, but soon their face had a smirk on their face. They knew what it meant and a heist note was made. The police asked for help, Shinichi hadn't said anything about it as he was waiting for him to tell them.

"You finished? We can talk about it somewhere private."

The other gave a nod as he glanced at Saguru and let out a sigh. It seemed that the other won't wake up that soon. 

"I am going now Sagu-chan see you tomorrow. I will tell you how it went. Let's go Shin-chan and Heiji-chan.~"

His voice soft yet there was some cheeriness in it, not a poker face this time but a real cheery self. What he hadn't realized it, that particular fingers twitched. Yet the person still hadn't woken up yet, but there was a raspy whisper from that person...

"Good luck..."

Poor Kaito. At least he has two best friends. Kaito is soo adorable when he squealed and I squealed as well when writing that scene with him glomping Heiji. I hope you enjoyed it as I have done writing this. See you all in the next chapter, ja ne.~
