.Chapter 1: yes, I'm rewriting everything.

On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 16 women around the world gave birth.

This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women were pregnant when the day first began.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire, adventurer, and father, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible.

He got seven of them. Seven siblings for his little girl, Marah.

I lay on my bed with fire coming out of my hands. The fire slowly morphs into the shape of a rose, mom's favorite flower. I lay there for a little while before a knock is heard.

"Someone better be on the brink of death for you to be bothering me." I say towards the door.

"Dad say's he needs us to talk to some intruders." Ben replies.

I sit up quickly, looking confused.

"Why us? Why not just get Sloane or Marcus to get them out?" I ask, moving towards my closet and choosing an outfit, besides the school uniform.

I grab out a tan sweater and a tan plaid skirt. I grab a pair of white high top sneakers and change in my bathroom. Once changed, I grab my red blazer and throw it on as well.

*Imagine it with the red sparrow blazer*

"Fine, whatever." I mutter, walking towards the door. "Let's just do this."

The mission alarm blares throughout our rooms, alerting my siblings and I that people are here.

Me and Ben walk down towards the living room as the rest of our siblings go to the balcony that overlooks the living room.

"Wrong again." I hear dad say.

"This is the sparrow academy." my mother adds, talking to whoever has broken in to our home.

Ben steps out from the foyer and walks into the living room. "Dad who the hell are these assholes?" Ben yells.

'No need to yell, Benny boy. We can all hear you just fine.' I think to myself, rolling my eyes. I follow Ben out of the foyer and into the living room, seeing six intruders in our home.

"And what the hell are they doing in our house?" I say, catching the attention of the rest of the intruders. I look at all of them, noticing a boy my age already looking at me.

"Shit." I hear them all say at the same time.

"Ben." the one in front says. "Is that really you? and Marah, what are you doing with them?"

"And who, are the weirdos, on the balcony." the one with long brown hair yells, up towards my siblings.

"They are the Sparrows." Dad says. "My children."

The black lady turns towards my parents. "I'm sorry. What do you mean your children?"

"That's not possible, old man." the kid my age seethes towards my dad.

"Of course it is! I think I'd know, wouldn't I?" Dad asks.

The rest of our siblings make their way down towards me and Ben, standing behind us.

"Everybody else can see Ben, right?" the man with a cowboy hat on says.

"Cute hat, sundance." Ben responds.

I look towards my parents, seeing them both looking at the intruders as if they know them. Well dad does, mom just looks at the kid as if she know's him.

"They call themselves, the Umbrella Academy, a group of scheming, perfidious malcontents who accosted me in the fall of 1963 when I was away on business in Dallas." Dad explains, looking towards me with a weird look in his eye. "Be warned, they claim to be my spawn."

"Claim?" the black lady scoffs. She turns towards the kid in a blue suit, similar to the ones we wore as kids. "Look, Five, what the hell is going on?"

"I don't know yet, but it's concerning." the boy, Five, responds.

"Is he telling the truth?" Fei asks, looking at the Umbrella Academy.

"Not the part about us being perfidious." the short one in all black says.

"No, we're amature-fidious, at best." the one with the cowboy hat says.

"But we are his children. This is our house." the short one in all black says.

"Yeah, yeah. We, uh... We grew up here." the one in front says.

"'Yeah, we grew up here.'" mocks Alphonso.

"I kind of think we would have noticed you." Sloane answers, earning the attention of the one in front.

"Hi. I'm Luther." the man, Luther, says, attempting to flirt.

"Okay. None of you belong here." the black lady says.

"Oh! Well, then." Fei starts. "I guess we'll just pack up our bags and move out."

Christopher than speaks, making a joke about the Umbrella Academy that makes us all laugh.

"You slay me, Chris." Ben replies.

Grace walks in with a tray of cookies, looking frantic. I walk over to my mom and dad, not wanting to be near any of the Umbrella siblings or my own, for that matter.

"I wasn't expecting company." Grace sighs. "This is the best I could do on short...short...short notice."

"Mom." the guy with long black hair whispers.

"Mom? She's a robot you perv." Jamie says, looking disgusted at the man.

"It's not a robot." the man with long black hair retorts.

"Hey, don't call him that." Luther says.

"Or what?" Marcus asks.

"Come closer and find out." Luther threatens.

"Luther! Guys, chill!" the girl in all black yells, trying to calm his siblings.

"Think I'm afraid?" Ben questions, stepping towards the Umbrella's.

"Stand down, Ben." my Mother states, glaring at him.

"Look at that! She's got a voice!" one of the Umbrella kids yells towards my mother.

"Say that again and find out what happens." I threaten, feeling my hands start to heat up. My dad places a hand on my shoulder, calming me down.

"How about I hide that big Rubik's cube up your ass!" the man with long brown hair threatens towards my siblings.

"Enough!" Marcus yells. Jamie hisses, spitting at the man with long brown hair. I walk away from  my parents and walk back over to my siblings.

"I don't know what circus you escaped from or how you got past our security, but we're done here." I say loudly, looking at the Umbrella siblings. All of them look away when I glare at them, except for Five, he keeps looking at me like he's trying to figure me out. "You got 30 seconds to get out of our house."

"And if we don't?" the black lady questions.

"Then we'll have to settle this the old-fashioned way." Marcus responds.

I look over towards the man with long brown hair to see him sweating, and with a dazed look in his eyes. Looking towards Jamie, I see her with an interested look on her face.

"Look, we just fought a literal army." the short one with all black clothes on says. "Okay? This doesn't need to get ugly. Let's all just calm down, and let's talk."

I look towards all of my siblings knowing this isn't going to end with us all talking.
