Sun was playing hide and seek, appearing from its shell and then disappearing again behind the curtain of clouds. Chirpy morning is what serens the inner turmoils of people, for a few wrabble of bird is the pacified sound while for a few its a kind of clamour that disturbs them from their deep slumber.

She closed the window of lab as sunlight was disturbing her from concentrating.

In a while she had practical to elaborate. She was preparing for it.

There were a few students present in chemistry lab.

"Hey doctor!" Naira got startled, she looked at Kartik, who was leaned against the shelf. He called her doctor as she was wearing white lab coat.

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to do some experiments." He said grinning, she ignored him.

She got busy with her practical, and there he was mixing chemicals without even knowing.

"Fuck." Kartik exclaimed at the small piece of work he did when the foggy smoke came out. Naira shook his head at him.

"Are you mad?" She hurriedly ran towards him, and took the chemical from his hands before he mixed it up and set the whole lab on fire.

"If you don't know anything then don't do it." She said putting the chemical back.

"Teach me."

"I'm rather busy than to teach you anything." She said and he scoffed.

"But on a serious note, what are you doing and why are you doing?" She asked him.

"What I'm doing?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Why are you coming before me and talking to me? Yesterday, you didn't even know me and today, what's wrong?" She knew very well that Liha was dating Kartik, and him being nice to her could be Liha's way of teasing her.

"Well, I just want to be friends with you."

"Why that?"

"You don't need reasons to be friends with anyone." He said.

"Everything has reasons, and everything need reasons."

"Nope, I think contrary to it. We ruin ourselves behind these reasons, behind finding the reasons. Things are beautiful just like this." He stated.

"You can never be contented without reasons. Life would be meaningless." She put her point.

"Whats so meaningful in meaningful things?" He asked.

"Life becomes more beautiful and happy."

"And whats so happy in being happy?"

"Are you depressed?" She asked.

"Aren't we all?" He replied.

"I can't with you." She shook her head and left the lab. The door left swaying open as she left, he sighed.
