"Kairav are uh waiting for someone? " Ishani asked seeing him desperately waiting for someone at the door

"Yes....my mom-dad and aunts are coming from London " he answered excitedly without turning

"Oh ...you haven't told us that they are coming"

He turned"how do u tell uh ..mjhe bhi to abhi hi pta chala hai(i too got to know right now)

"Means?"

"Means...they thought to surprise me but when they reached home...i was of course not there...so they call me and i told them ..that it's my friends brother's engagement... So they are coming to congratulate him" he said excitement and happiness was clear in his voice

"Ohkay" ishani chuckled

"Kairav" they turned to see cabir aditi..navya and juhi standing.

"Kairav" aditi rushed towards him and hugged him

"I missed uh bacha" she said showering kisses all over his face...he made irritating face

"Missed uh too ma"he said rubbing his face with a cute pout..

" What's up beta"cabir asked hugging him

"All good dad" he answered

"J" kairav exclaimed and hugged Juhi who hugged him back
"How r u?" He asked

"I m good what about u?" She asked

"I m perfectly fit and fine" he said

"No one missed me here" navya pouted

"Aww badi ma i missed uh the most..." He said kissing her cheeks...she smiled

"I missed uh too mairu" she kissed his forehead

Ishani was admiring the family get together after so long. ..how much they pamper him ...how much they love him...she wished that she also had a family who would love her...and pamper.

"Ma -papa she is my friend ishani" he introduced her breaking her trance

"Oh friend!" Aditi juhi and navya smirked...He looks down blushing.... Whereas cabir and ishani frowned

"Namaste! " she wished all smiled seeing how cultured she is

"By the way.. Won't u introduce us to ur friend?...and his brother... Whose engagement it is" cabir asked.

"Oh yeah...come" he said and all followed him

"So he is Rishi Oberoi " cabir frown on the name he had heard it before but don't remember where

"And she is Kavia Khurana..his soon to be fiancé "

"And kavia-rishi...this is my family"

"Oh hello uncle-aunties"rishi said

"And there he is my best friend ...Karan Oberoi " he said looking towards the staircase seeing him descending down with hard expression.

They looked towards the stairs only to get the biggest shock

"Bhai"aditi whispered..navya and juhi were numb to react whereas cabir had a hard expression

"Cabir bhai"aditi whipered in his ears..

"Control aditi ...he is not Kartik bhai...he is Karan oberoi..the arrogant rockstar...he can never be our Kartik bhai"he whispered she nodded and wipped off the tears in her eyes...Juhi and navya also heard this and looked down

"But how kairav & he know each other "he whispered

"Tum chahe jitna bol lo cabir(as much as uh can say cabir)..but he our Kartik bhai only...who is back to complete his love story...you can't stop the what is destined cabir...that's why the son and father are together"she whispered with tears ..cabir stood numb trying to digest her words

(I know u guys are a little bit confused so lemme clear it...kairav was staying with navya and juhi in london since he was 11 where he met Karan in school & college and they are bff's...4 yrs back Karan returned and now after 10 yrs he is finally back...cabir don't want him to visit here coz he don't want past to revealed...cabir and aditi bith went to london when kairav returned due to business that they have to wrap up which was run by juhi. <Any confusion. "Karan are u ok"kairav asked who nodded ..."should i call the doctor?"cabir asked

"No cabir i m ok"he said holding his head making everyone frown"I mean uncle"he said correcting himself...Cabir sighed and looked at a particular direction"Bhabhi"he whispered which was heard by all...all looked at the direction where maira was talking with someone but she was lost in her own thoughts

"Huh?"kairav frowned

"i mean who is she..?"he asked

"Oh she is maira ..kavia's sis and our friend"he said cabir nodded and looked at aditi who had pride in her eyes ...she was right

"hey "they all turned to see veer standig..he had a evil smirk on his face which he managed to hide..Karan looked away angrily seeing him

"Wo have uh guys seen maira "he asked

"Aa gya maira ka chamcha(here comes tail of maira)"Karan gritted which was heard by kairav..he bit his lip trying not to laugh

"Yeah di is there"kavia said pointing towards the direction..he nodded and left

Karan too left from there angrily..and kairav followed him..
Cabir too walked out followed by aditi navya and juhi

" cabir"aditi called cabir who was standing in the garden back facing them....he turned tears were flowing down his eyes...he hugged aditi ..."u were right aditi...they are back...Kartik bhai and nandini bhabi are back to complete their incomplete love story...they are back"he cried all his heart out ....the pain he stored all these years... He is crying that out...he is happy..

"But..." He broke the hug

"Aryan is also back" he whispered making all sad

"No this time i can't let all this happen i need to tell them" he said and stepped forward to leave but aditi stopped him holding his hand.

"No cabir uh will not do anything.. " She said

"What?" He frowned she nodded

"Are uh gone mad aditi " he said withdrawing his hand angrily

"Cabir cabir listen to me ....let everything happen with flow ..we can't change what is destined.... And moreover they will never beleive you..." Cabir looked at her...yes why would they beleive them...What should we do he asked through his eyes

"Cabir just let everything go with a flow" he looked down sadly and nodded.

They walked in

"Yaar dad where were you ...engage ment ka time hogye hai." Kairav complained walking towards them

They apologised through his eyes

And soon the ceremony started they both exchanged the ring...whole this while Karan was only staring at maira

"Karan!" Soumya called for the 10th time.

"Please sing a song na"she asked

" Yes bhai"kavia and rishi added

"But....."

"Sing na" everyone pleaded

"Ok" he smiled amd looked at maira who looked down.

The whole hall is dark...with dim lights...the spot light is falling on only one person who is on stage with his guitar...tuning it looking down

He opened his eyes which had only pain...he has no life without her now...he loves her vey much.....without her he has no peace...nothing..he wants her...only her.

His mesmerising smile...which is fake...maira looked up into his eyes she had same pain as him...soon everything around them stopped...maira walked near him and kissed his forehead ..he closed his eyes feeling her lips against his skin ..he opened his eyes...manmat was not there...she was still standing beside
Veer..he smiled at her with disappointed.

She ran from there ....Karan not felling her look back towards the place where she was standing no she was not there...Pain of the hearts would be less if we are together

Maira ran towards the garden and collapsed on floor crying...She turned when she felt someone's hand on her shoulder it was Ishani who was kneeling beside her...without thinking a moment maira hugged her..crying and sobbing

"What happened mairu?" Ishani asked rubbing her back

"I love him..i love him very much ..."

"Love whom?"

"Karan!....i love him ishanu...i love him very much" she cried

"Why ...why it happened why i came here....why i fell in love with him after knowing that i am already engaged" she asked broking the hug

"love just happens maira it is not your fault" ishani wiped her tears

"No..it is my fault...when i know that i m already engaged...belongs to someone else how could i fall in love with someone else...this is wrong..." She cried.

"I cannot betray veer" she cried

"Maira this is not betraying ..you love him"

"No it is...!" She cried and looked up to see Karan walking out the mansion searching for her...she don't want him to see in this state

"Ishani ..i m going home...mumma ko bta dena ok"

"But mairu!"

"Bye" and she left

"Ishani have u seen maira?" Karan asked

"Yeah...wo she was tired so she left home" she said looking down and walked in

Leaving Karan who was standing sadly.
