Karan and Maira both were tossing and turning on bed remembering today's incident ..

Maira's pov:

"Why maira?why?why can't we get all over it?why can't we be friends?why we always had to fight why?"His words are running in my mind continuously why?why can't we friends ..he is right why can't be we just friend...Why?

Karan's pov:

I am in my bed right now sleep is far far away from my eyes...todays incident is not letting me sleep...why I jumped into fire for her...why when she was trapped in fire ..i felt like world stop...why I was so angry with her when she put her life at risk...why I am scared to lose her..why?..lot's of questions but no answer...I wish I could ask someone all these questions ...my life is full of mystery and riddles don't know what is happening with me..It looks like I was waiting for someone since a long time and now when I found maira I am feeling I finally found it...I want to be her in my life forever ...I turned in my thougts to other side

"Aaahh"I winced when my wound got hit by the matress I stare at my wound which was covered with a white bandage..A smile crept on my face remembering something.

Flashback:

"Why maira?why?why can't we get all over it?why can't we be friends?why we always had to fight why?"he whispered closing his eyes and opened it staring at maira's eyes his gaze shifted to her lips ..he leaned in a little bit and she closed her eyes in response

"Aaah"he winced when maira place her hand on his bicep.

"Karan"maira asked in worry and looked towards his bicep ..which was burned...

"Oh god....first aid please"she shouted

"You..you sit here"she made him sit down

"Maira I m ok yaar "he tried to convince her but her one glare and he kept his mouth shut.

Maira was doing his bandage whereas Karan was just adoing her ..worry in her eyesf or him ..gives him profound happiness...She completed the bandage and looked at him who was already staring him.

I felt someone is knocking at my window...I stood up and opened the window only to fing maira standing with the help of ladder

"maira what are you doing her"I ask in worry

"And u have to come you should come through main gate..why like this..."

"Uff so many questions you ask...I will answer everything first pull me up..."I nodded and pulled her up

"Huh..soo?"

"Hmm so your second question why I came like this..is everyone in your house must be sleeping and I don't want anyone to wake..so ...."god she is crazy

"And for the first question...i was nit getting sleep" she said

"So should i sing a lullaby for u" i asked sarcastically rolling my eyes...why is she so stupid... She climbed up to my window ...what if se got hurt?

"No!"she frown

"The reason why I m here is ..."she took a deep breath

"I m here to answer for ur question!"

"what question?"I frown

"yhi ki why can't we be friends"she said ohh so she had a answer for that ...she had a reason of WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS this line only hurts me

"So the answer is WE CAN BE FRIENDS!Karan oberoi"I snapped am I dreaming or she literally said that

"So will u be my friend Karan oberoi?"she asked forwarding her hand

"A new start !"she added

I glanced at her and her hand and without thinking once I pulled her into my arms

"Yes ....yes we can be friend maira khurana "I answered..i could feel her smiling ...she hugged me back.

The rest of the days passed in a blink...our kaira came closer during these ays...but they are still unknown that they are fallen in love with each other completely..they are still naming it as friendship...It's the engagement day..Maira is despirately waiting for someone on the door

And they were talking when someone closed maira's eyes frok behind...earning a glare from Karan

And turned he smiled at her

"What a pleasant surprise " she hugged him Karan fisted his hands in anger..cursing veer...and looking here and there which is noticed by someone

"Me too" she said when her eyes fell on Karan ...who was looking here and there... Her grip from veer's hand loosen

"By the way ..how come u here..i guess u were in london na" she asked hesitatingly

"Ab tum to kch btati nahi(u to don't tell me anything)... It is mummy ji ...who told me kavia ki engagement hai...so here i m " he said side hugging kavia who smiled

"Acha won't u will introduce me to all" he asked seeing the confused faces

"Hmm" she nodded and looked towards Karan who was looking down...she felt a certain pain seeing him like this.

"Guy's he is Veer Sinha.....My fiance" Karan snapped listning the word 'My fiancé '
