Naira's pov:
After Kartik left for the office we settled into living room talking when
"Bhabhii" juhi came running from the main door with his husband Akash.
She came and hug me"Happy Birthday Bhabhi"she wished cheerfully making ne chuckle

"Thank uh juhi" i said pulling her cheeks on which she made an oww face rubbing her cheeks

"Happy birthday bhabhi" akash wished me softly i don't know why Kartik don't liked him her sweet and gentle.Anyways we all sat in the living room but my mind is tossing on only one thing i.e. Kartik I don't know why it feels like something is gonna happen today.

The whole day passed in a blink ,all the preparations for the party was going on which obviously Kartik had organised.
I was standing in front of main gate waiting for him anxiously .

"Naira" i turned Navya bhabhi standing with Aditi

"Naira..go get ready"

"Not now bhabhi plzz after some time" i pleaded without shifting my gaze from the door

"Bhabhi the party is about to start" aditi said

"Plzz aditi ..let Kartik come then i will" i said stubbornly

"Bhabhi Kartik bhai ka message aaya he is asking to get you ready in the dress which he had send" she said forwarding the dress .Kartik had texted her for this but he hadn't texted me since one hour ...let him come.

"Bhabhi/Naira" they shook me to bring out of my thoughts

"Go get ready " bhabhi said ..i nodded and took the dress from aditi and went upstairs

I took out the dress from thebox.Wow it is beautiful but why red, Kartik and his obsession for red.Shrugging all the thoughts changed into the gown after a long shower of 1hour..applied a little makeup and made curls .

I walked down but he was still not here where is he .I don't know why i ma getting vibes that something is going to happen.

I saw Harshad bhai coming from the door i sighed in releif

"Bhai where is Kartik?" I asked looking towards the main door from which he entered

"I don't know ..he said he want to buy some gifts for you" he said broking my hopes and left

I dialled his number "The number you have called is out of network ".. Once he'll come home i'll tell him.God ye kitna pareshan krta hai mjhe i was continueosly calling him

" What happened Naira"Aryan asked seeing me tensed

"See na Aryan ,Kartik hasn't come yet " i said dialing his number again and again

"Chill yaar aa jayega" he said i nodded

"Bhabhi come lets click some pics" juhi pulled me with everyone

We clicked a lot of selfies and pics

When my eyes fell on my phone which was flashing

"Hello " i picked it

"Hello jaan " it was Kartik i sighed in releif mai bhi na bekar hi itni tension le ri thi

"Where are you?" I almost shouted and i know right now he was pouting sadly

"Just on the way" he said with a sad tone

"How much time?"

"Just 15 mins ...acha forget this have uh wear the dress which is send" his vouce changed into cheerful again

"Hmm" i just hummed

"Really...plzz send me a pic na" he said excitedly

"No...jab ghar aana tab dekh lena" i declined

"Please" he said with his most sugary voice which always melts me.

"Fine " i said and i know he was smiling on his victory right now

"See i have send" i said

"Wait a minute." He said and there was a silence of few seconds

"Hayeeeee......meri wife to kitti soni lag ri hai"he said in his punjabi accent...making me blush ...i just love it when he praises me in his punjabi accent

" Stop blushing and now give me a kiss"he demanded making my eyes widened and my mouth opened

"No" i said

"Why?"

"When u'll come here i'll give u " i said and was going to cut the phone when

"No...no..no." He stopped me

"What?"

"Plzz" oh god again his sugary voice ...why it always melt me

"Okk fine"i said and bring the speaker near my mouth and

"Muaaahhhhhh"

"Hayee mai to to mar gaya" he said

"Shut up" is shouted

"Ye sab faltu ki baat ki na ..to mai na tumhara muh tod dungi" i said in one go

"Solly" he said cutely making me smiled he is the only one who can change my mood in seconds

"Acha ...or kitna time" i asked him

"Bass .almost reached" He said i nodded

"I love you" i don't know why i felt like saying it so i said to him

"I love you too jaan" he answered but soon his tone changed

"Shittt" he cursed making me worry

"What happened Kartik" i asked

"Naira break ni lag rha hai" he said worriedly

"What?"

"Kartik"

"Kartik"

"Kartik"I called continueosly im worry but he didn't answered i could only hear is the the of tyre squeaking sound
