After Todd left, I had a nice long soak in my tub to release all the tension from today. Then I got dressed in pyjama pants and a tshirt and fixed myself a strong cuppa tea. Now I was seated at my table, books opened infront of me.

Axel ordered our dinner and was now tidying up around the house. He got started on his laundry which amazed me because he hardly ever did it. I had a good laugh to myself quietly in my room when I heard the washing machine working.
Not long later there was a knock on my door.

"K?" Axel calls, knocking twice.

"Yup?" I answer immediately, closing my books.

"Dinner's here" He says before disappearing into the house.

I plug my phone into the charger and slip on my fuzzy slippers, making my way inside.

"In here!" Axel calls again, and I follow his voice to the living room.

The aroma was really mouthwatering and dinner never looked so good. Sitting pretty on our coffee table were two medium pizzas. One meatlovers and one extra cheese. Just divine.

Axel set down two cans of coke and some water.

"Thank you" I said before grabbing a piece of the extra cheesy one.

"Anytime" was his reply.

We sat in comfortable silence and  Axel found something for us to watch on TV.  We didnt do much talking, both of us too into the pizza and movie to talk.

After dinner I curled up on one side of the couch with a blanket draped slightly over me. Ax on the other hand was sprawled out across the floor with just a cushion for a pillow.  Don't ask me about his life choices because I have no idea why he's on the floor. He's just weird and I usually just ignore it... like I'm doing right now.

"Hey Kaia I've got some news" Axel pipes up from the floor.

"Yeah? What is it?" I answer lazily, my eyes not leaving the TV.

"I got signed today for a year- long contract with a top modeling agency" He announces proudly.

"Really?!" I jumped up excitedly. "That's.. that's amazing! I'm so proud of you" I exclaim, and watch as he sits up to tell me more, his eyes glistening with happiness. He can finally prove to his family that he isn't useless after all. Good on ya, Axel.

"Yep. So I'm allgood to go, I start in a few days. Best thing about it is they gave me a place to stay since I told them I move around alot and that I'm not always here"

"Wow. That's incredible. So I guess you're moving out of here?" I ask.

"Aw now don't be all  sad on me" Axel says, getting up off the floor to come sit beside me. "You can always come live with me if you want. I am the best source for fun around here anyway." He laughs, giving me a hug. I just stay still in his arms, chuckling nervously. Boundaries, remember?

"You're too cocky, I won't even miss you a bit" I tell him straight to his face. He turns his head sideways and stares at me, a small smirk on his face. "But I'll miss you, alot."

My breath hitches and I feel kinda mushy. My feet get cold and I try to say something,  anything -- but nothing manages to escape my lips. Axel plays with my hair a little, still holding me in his embrace. He looks at me so intensely my insides feel like they're on fire. I've never felt like this is in a long time.

"Say something, love" He almost whispers, moving closer to me inch by inch, a hand cupping my cheek. 

"I...I" I struggle to find the words. There are no words. Yep, I'm convinced.

He leans in carefully and brushes his lips gently against mine. My eyes flutter closed, an instant reaction to his move. When I don't pull away, he kisses me with more intensity, sucking and pulling on my bottom lip. My heart beats so fast I feel lightheaded. What am I doing?

I wrap my arms around his neck and he pulls me closer to his body, eliminating the little space between us. I break away just to allow myself to breathe before Axel crashes his lips onto mine once more.

Again.

And again.

Until...

"Stop!" My voice comes out angry, and a little bit rude. I push him away with both hands, forcing him to fall back slightly against the couch. I stand up without another word and make my way to my room, making sure to lock the door behind me.

"Kaia? Kaia?" Axel calls after me. He's standing outside my door, I know it.

"Kaia, come on, I'm sorry! Please don't do this" He apologizes, trying to open the door but it's locked.

I sit on my bed as tears blur my vision. What have I done?

I pull out my phone to get some sorta distraction. Anything to keep me from thinking about what just happened. But even that turned sour. I had texts from Ash.

I had an unusual feeling in my stomach. Must be guilt after what I just did. I'm so stupid. How could I be so stupid?

I open one of his texts and read it carefully.

Ash:

Please don't hate me. 

It made absolutely no sense as I tried to think about what he meant by it. I wiped my tears away and opened another text, trying to comprehend everything.

Ash:

Angel, I'm so sorry.

What is he saying sorry for?

There was another knock at the door. This time I didn't answer or utter a single word. I just sat there staring at the text on my phone with tears overflowing down my face.

"Kaia? I know you don't wanna talk right now.. I just wanted to say I'm sorry" Axel began in the most sincere tone I've ever heard. All playful and cockiness missing from his voice. I didn't get the door, I just sat and listened.

"Kaia, I'm stepping out to give you some space. And like I said, I'm sorry I kissed ya"

And with that I heard his footsteps followed by the slamming of the front door.

He left.
