Rose POV

"She's a monster!"

"Who the hell can stand against her?"

"She's a piune elementary student why can't you beat her?!" I sigh there's no use playing with kids my age and apparently high schoolers either.

"That was awesome!" I turn around to see two kids about my age running to me.

"Yeah! How you past him by going in between his legs!" I raise a brow they seem way to excited.

"Aha." I say twirling the ball in my finger while looking at the two.

"I'm Kagami Taiga." I tilt my head his accent is weird and I don't think his first name is Kagami either what kind of name would that be?

"You're Japanese aren't you?" I ask as he blush a little scratching his neck and nodding.

"I'm Tatsuya Himuro." The other says and I nod stopping the ball and bouncing it on the ground.

"Rosalie Garcia." I answer before smirking.

"Wanna play?" I ask causing the two to smile and nod before we started playing a 2 on 1.

"Hey, Rose.." I turn around to look at Taiga, we had started speaking only Japanese for the most part since I wanted to learn his native language.

"Yes Taiga? Tired already?" I ask teasing him but he shakes his head he had asked me to come play with him today like always but today it was only the two of us.

"No, I just wanted some alone time with you." He admits making me blush. I've known Taiga for a few years now and I have to admit I've fallen for the rough around the edges red head with a mean face. At first I thought I was out of my mind, I mean sure his figure is just amazing and his height is now towering over me more than ever, but Tatsuya was a lot cooler than him in so many ways, he was always calm and collected yet had this mysterious/cool look to him and was in a way kinder than Taiga. He knew what to do no matter what while Taiga would sometimes lose it.

"Yeah? What for?" I ask bouncing the ball on the ground nervous.

"I needed to talk to you alone. We'll soon graduate and I don't know if we'll go to the same school or not but I just.." He looks away with red cheeks making me chuckle and walk to him still bouncing the ball.

"You what?" I ask getting in his field of vision.

"I really like you." He says making my cheeks go red and the ball was long forgotten.

"I know it's sudden but I just couldn't keep pretending anymore." He says taking hold of my hands making me blink and look up at him.

"I just needed to tell you that.. it's ok if you don't feel the-mhph." I kissed him to shut him up. I wrap my hands around his neck as his wrap around my lower back pulling me closer to him.

"I like you too dummy." I mumble when we pull away making him smile and connect our lips again in a slightly more passionately kiss than before.

"You're.. leaving?" I ask feeling my heart shatter at his words.

"Yeah.." He says and I try to hold back the tears.

"Are you.. ever coming back?" I ask looking away from him hiding my face with my hair.

"I don't know." He answers wrapping his hands around me pulling me close.

"But I can't bring myself to end things with you.. I want to still be with you even if it is long distance and I hate myself for it. I don't want to hold you back or hurt you but I don't have a choice." He starts and I felt tears on my head as he pulls me closer to him and I let my tears fall hugging him back.

"Don't feel bad.. I don't want to let go either." I answer hugging him tighter to me. He pull away just barely to lean down and connect his lips with mine in a passionate kiss.

This was the first time.. this was the night we made love to each other for the first and last time. It was our goodbye, he would be leaving the next day during the afternoon and so we had the whole night to ourselves along with the morning before I went with him to the airport to see him off. He promised he'd call at least once a day and tell me all about his day. He made good on that promise.. that's until he surprised me by coming to america two years later to train with my sister again for the summer.

And now? Now my sister found herself flirting with the landlord to get us into his apartment. I have to admit the sight is just amusing, seeing how the poor guy was red to his ears and neck as he shakily opened the door for us. Soon we walked in and I look around then chuckle, this is just like him, simple and real, nothing hidden. 

"I'm so tired." Alex says carrying her bags and going to the spare room I shake my head I sure hope she doesn't get naked again, I swear she has no dignity left by now.

I make my way to his room and smile the time here sure is crazy I'm so tired too. But I wanna wait for Taiga. I take a seat on his bed and pull out a book, he didn't know it but I'm transferring to the school he is now. Since Alex's my guardian and I'm now 16 she said I could come live with him and study with him.

The two of us talked a lot and during summer in America I asked him what he would think of us living together as a what if question and he said it would be the best thing ever and honestly I wouldn't disagree. I lay back on the bed and start reading the book but before I knew it I was out cold exhaustion getting to me all at once.
